This document discusses applications of nanotechnology in mobile and wireless communication systems. Wideband Sensing for Cognitive Radio Systems in Heterogeneous Next Generation...CSCJournals
Mobile Next Generation Network (MNGN) is characterized as heterogeneous network where variety of access technologies are meant to coexist. Decisions on choosing an air interface that meets a particular need at a particular time will be shifted from the network’s side to (a more intelligent) user’s side. On top of that network operators and regularities have come to the realization that assigned spectrum bands are not utilized as they should be. Cognitive radio stands out as a candidate technology to address many emerging issues in MNGN such as capacity, quality of service and spectral efficiency. As a transmission strategy, cognitive radio systems depend greatly on sensing the radio environment. In this paper, we present a novel approach for interference characterization in cognitive radio networks based on wideband chirp signal. The results presented show that improved sensing accuracy is maintained at tolerable system complexity.

The systems based on intelligent sensors are currently expanding, due to theirs functions and theirs performances of intelligence: transmitting and receiving data in real-time, computation and processing algorithms, metrology remote, diagnostics, automation and storage measurements…The radio frequency wireless communication with its multitude offers a better solution for data traffic in this kind of systems. The mains objectives of this paper is to present a solution of the problem related to the selection criteria of a better wireless communication technology face up to the constraints imposed by the intended application and the evaluation of its key features. The comparison between the different wire-less technologies (Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, UWB, Bluetooth, ZigBee, ZigBeeIP, GSM/GPRS) focuses on their performance which depends on the areas of utilization. Furthermore, it shows the limits of their characteristics. Study findings can be used by the developers/ engineers to deduce the optimal mode to integrate and to operate a system that guarantees quality of communication, minimizing energy consumption, reducing the implementation cost and avoiding time con-straints.

Internet of Things applications such as environmental monitoring and healthcare may involve multimedia
communications from IoT devices to humans for decision-making. Therefore, the quality of delivered
multimedia should be in good perceived quality. Higher video quality results into higher energy consumptions due to encoding and decoding processes and as a result, will affect the performance of IoT devices due to their inherent energy constraints. This paper presents the impact of video encoding
parameters as non-network parameters on the energy consumption of IoT devices. The experimental results from Cooja simulator show that the videos with high bitrates and low frame rates consume more power than videos with low bitrates and high frame rates. It was also found that video content type affects energy consumption. Finally, this paper proposes a power model that takes into account video parameters such as
bit rate, frame rate and content types. The proposed model can play a vital role in video quality adaptation in multimedia communication over IoT devices.

Abstract
Nanotechnology has nowadays become the most amazing study in many fields such as civil engineering, chemical engineering, electronics, and medicine. Nanotechnology is the manipulation of matter on an atomic molecular and supramolecular scale (Abdullah-Al-Shafi, 2016). This, therefore, means that at its essence, it is the science of how to use small things in the advancement of technology.
Introduction
The devices that use wireless communication ranges from RFID tags to television set receivers and satellites to mobile phones. The availability of internet access from mobile devices is growing at an exponential rate that causes rising demand on the wireless network and mobile devices' performance. As the type of activities that consumers are engaging in over the wireless connections is changing day in day out, it has been an increased need for the devices to change also. For instance in radios, the increasing quantity of mobile internet traffic there has been increased the need for additional frequency for support. The modern world is becoming an intelligent interactive environment that has needs novel autonomous sensors with wireless communication links that require to be incorporated into an everyday object. This is the reason why sensors that are nano-enabled integrated with small RF transceivers are useful in monitoring air quality, water pollution among other aspects. The main drivers of changing into nanotechnology in wireless devices are needed for high performance, reduced consumption of power as well as reduced compact size.
Background
In nanotechnology, a semiconductor is a material with electrical conductivity between a conductor and an insulator (Neupane, et al., 2019). In these semiconductors, the energy band that is highly occupied is filled with electrons completely and the next that is empty is the conduction band. The semiconductors resistivity can be altered by up to 10 orders of magnitude by doping. Semiconductors nanocrystals are made from various compounds. They are normally referred to as II-IV, III-V or IV-VI semiconductors nanocrystals. This is basing on the periodic table groups where there are three elements formed. Semiconductor nanowires are a unique system that will be in the future to be used in electronic and optoelectronic devices. It has been shown that if the semiconductor materials are minimized, their performance is maximized for their application in a wide range of material applications.

vides a very large set of new promising applica-
tions such as collaborative disease detection with
communicating in-vivo nanosensor nodes and
distributed chemical attack detection with a net-
work of nanorobots. Hence, one of the most

works. In this article, we define the concept of
carbon nanotube-based nanoscale ad hoc net-
works for future nanotechnology applications.

scaled version of traditional wireless ad hoc
networks without downgrading its main function-
alities. The objective of this work is to introduce
this novel and interdisciplinary research field and
highlight major barriers toward its realization.

Abstract
Nanotechnology has nowadays become the most amazing study in many fields such as civil engineering, chemical engineering, electronics, and medicine. Nanotechnology is the manipulation of matter on an atomic molecular and supramolecular scale (Abdullah-Al-Shafi, 2016). This, therefore, means that at its essence, it is the science of how to use small things in the advancement of technology.
Introduction
The devices that use wireless communication ranges from RFID tags to television set receivers and satellites to mobile phones. The availability of internet access from mobile devices is growing at an exponential rate that causes rising demand on the wireless network and mobile devices' performance. As the type of activities that consumers are engaging in over the wireless connections is changing day in day out, it has been an increased need for the devices to change also. For instance in radios, the increasing quantity of mobile internet traffic there has been increased the need for additional frequency for support. The modern world is becoming an intelligent interactive environment that has needs novel autonomous sensors with wireless communication links that require to be incorporated into an everyday object. This is the reason why sensors that are nano-enabled integrated with small RF transceivers are useful in monitoring air quality, water pollution among other aspects. Ultra-Wide Band (10 GHz Bandwidth) Microstrip Patch Antenna for Millimeter Wa...IJAEMSJORNAL
This paper introduces a microstrip patch antenna (MPA) for fifth Generation (5G)/ millimeter-Wave (mm-Wave) applications for frequencies > 50 GHz. The proposed antenna is designed and simulated on a flexible substrate of cotton jean having εr =1.76, δ =0.078, and a height of 1 mm. The designed antenna operates over an impedance bandwidth of 10 GHz with a maximum gain of 6.167 dBi. The antenna patch's largest dimension is 2.82mm (0.52687 λ) and the ground is 8 mm (1.499 λ), whereas λ is calculated at the center frequency of impedance bandwidth.

This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
