Design and Testing of Magneto Rheological Damper for Vehicle SuspensionNagesh NARASIMHA PRASAD
Conventional suspension systems have been ruling the automobile industry since ages but with the advancement in material technology it has led us to a new kind of suspension systems known as Active Suspension systems which involves smart materials like Magneto Rheological Fluids (MR), Electro Rheological Fluids (ER) etc. In present day conventional suspension system, we have a coiled spring setup with a simple damper filled with oil in motorcycles which are passive in nature. But off late in 21st century the development of smart materials bought in new dimensions of research in the suspension technology which has led to the era of active suspension systems. Now we can see usage of Semi Active Suspension/Active suspension system in cars and heavy vehicles which enhances the life of automobile, ride comfort and drive control. Though these systems have been developed for high end cars and military vehicles, the implementation of this technology to motorcycles has been a topic of research interest to various motorcycle industries.
We hence designed and machined an Magneto-Rheological Damper to Motorcycles, this system senses the irregularities of the road with various sensors and tries to stiffen and soften the suspension system in motorcycles in turn providing safe and snuggly ride with increased control during rough terrain. Thereby with this suggested concept an alternative design consideration of suspension systems has been offered.

Design and analysis of a premium efficiency (ie3) induction motoreSAT Journals
For designing an induction motor complete dimension of all the parts of the machine must be known in order to satisfy the
customers required specifications. This paper presents the calculation of following design details. (a) The dimensions of the stator
that includes stator packet length and diameter. (b) Details of stator windings and stator slots. (c) Design details of rotor and
rotor slots. (d) Finally, the performance of motor. In order to get the above design details the designer needs the required
customer specifications such as rated power output, rated voltage, speed, frequency, type of stator winding and its connection,
type of rotor winding, working conditions, shaft extension and dimension details etc. The design example of 45kW cage motor is
presented and various tests are also performed.

Introduction to Magneto-Rheological Fluid Technology & Its Applicationijiert bestjournal
Magnetorheological (MR) fluid damper are semi active control device that have been applied
a wide range of practical vibration control application. In this study, the methodology adopted
to get a control structure is based on the experimental results. An Experiment has been
conducted to establish the behaviour of the MR damper. In this paper, the behaviour of MR
damper is studied and used in implementing vibration control. The force displacement and
force‐velocity response with varying current has been established for the MR damper. In this
paper we investigated theoretically at fabricated Magnetorheological damper by using
Magnetorheological fluid. Here MR fluid developed first by mixing of prepared nano size
(fe3o4) iron particle by co precipitation method. And a comparative study had done between
these iron particles prepared MR fluid. Here an experimental performed on fabricated MR
damper and discussed the behaviour of MR damper.
On-state Torque Optimization for Synthesized MR FluidIJERA Editor
Magneto-Rheological (MR) fluids are the suspension of magnetizable particles in a carrier fluids and their
rheological properties viscosity etc. can be changed by varying the magnetic field applied to it. Due to such
variable characteristics, these MR fluids find wide application in various automotive industries devices e.g. MR
brakes and MR clutches etc. In MR brakes, the MR fluids generate a resisting torque (between housing and
rotor) within milliseconds on the application of magnetic field. In the present work, the optimal values of MR
fluid constituents is obtain which give the high values of on-state torque. For this, 18 samples of MR fluids are
prepared and their compositions are selected using L-18 orthogonal array. Further, an experimental approach is
used to determine and validate the torque generated by the MR fluid samples. For this purpose, experimental
setup is designed and fabricated in-house. ANOVA is used to statistically analyze the significant factors which
affect the on-state torque which in-turn gives the optimal composition of MR fluid. For this optimal composition,
on-state torque of the MR fluid sample came out to be 0.887587 N-m.

Magneto Rheological damper is a special type of
damper that is filled with Magnetorheological fluids which can
be controlled by magnetic field using an electromagnet. These
types of smart fluids change their physical properties when
subjected to magnetic field and turn into visco-elastic solids in
few milliseconds. This property allows the MR damper to be
used as a shock absorber by controlling its damping
characteristics by changing the intensity of electromagnet. This

Micron range complex structure in micro electrochemical machining- a revieweSAT Journals
Abstract
The major problem in the micro-manufacturing is concerned with achieving the good dimensional accurate products with the better surface finish, high MRR, no tool wear, absence of stress and no heat-affected zone. Micro-machining proved itself as a promising solution of this major problem. In recent days, industries are regularly looking for fabricating the micro-components which can be able to perform their complex functions in the sensitive areas of electronics, automotive, biomedical and optics. Now a day for miniature components micro-machining plays a very important role, its techniques are excellent to machine any complex shapes with good accuracy and bright surface finish. Material with any value of the hardness can be machined easily with all the offered advantages of micro-machining in the electrochemical micro-machining process (EMM). In this article; review of different methodologies and effect of machining parameters were studied along with different electrolytes; which plays a significant role in electro chemical micro-machining. The objective of this study is to know about the optimum micro-machining parameters for the EMM process and it is also much important to find out the research gap through the different studies. In this study, it has been found out MRR and overcut are depends upon the voltage, electrolyte concentration, IEG, pulse ON/OFF time, pulse duration, pulse frequency, RPM of the tool and flow rate of electrolyte. The proper selections of parameters in EMM are essentials for achieving the overall improvement in the micro-machining operation.

Vibration suppression is considered as a keyresearch field in civil engineering to ensure the safety and comfort of their occupants and users of mechanical structures. To reduce the system vibration, an effective vibration control with isolation is necessary. Vibration control techniques have classically been categorized into two areas, passive and active controls. For a long time, efforts were made to make the suspension system work optimally by optimizing its parameters, but due to the intrinsic limitations of a passive suspension system, improvements were effective only in a certain frequency range. Compared with passive suspensions, active suspensions can improve the performance of the suspension system over a wide range of frequencies. Semi-active suspensions were proposed in the early 1970s [1], and can be nearly as effective as active suspensions. When the control system fails, the semi-active suspension can still work under passive condition

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.
