Abstract:It is most significant to achieve environment protection in construction industry for which prefabrication construction technique is considered to be most efficient sustainable construction method. The importance of prefabrication is based on the influence of different activities elaborate such a waste management, adaptation of material reuses and recycles. This research paper includes a dynamic design approach to evaluate the cost performance of construction project using prefabrication construction method along with applying the subsequent waste treatment activities to accomplish waste management. The construction cost of duplex villathrough traditional construction has been carried out. The construction cost of the same project has then been calculated by the present prefabricated assembly market prices. After critical comparison between construction costs of traditional and prefabrication methods, a significant cost saving has been noticed. The day by day increasing public awareness about the environmental impacts of construction waste has been resulted in including waste management as a major function of construction project management by some construction organizations. Although, some of methods have been developed for construction waste management it is still of much importance that no research has been done so far in this topic to introduce waste minimization through necessary waste treatment activities. This research paper emphasis on the identification of supreme horizons of prefabrication techniques and methods in construction industry by converging on the aggressive need of suitable training and skills for workplace.

For environmental conservation, the usage of recycled aggregates in concrete may be beneficial. The products for the future are recycled aggregates. The usage of recycled aggregates has been initiated in several European, American, Russian and Asian building ventures. Many nations have relaxed the usage of recycled aggregates with respect to infrastructure rules. This project reports the fundamental characteristics of recycled fine aggregates and recycled coarsely aggregates and contrasts them with natural aggregates. Basic shifts are described in all aggregate properties and their impacts on concreting work are thoroughly addressed. The properties of recycled concrete aggregates are also calculated. Fundamental concrete properties such as compressive power, bending strength, operability and so for the numerous combinations of recycled aggregates and natural aggregates are discussed here. Codal recommendations for recycled concrete aggregates in different countries are listed here, with their influence on concretion function. In general, the existing state of recycled aggregates in India along with their potential needs and use are addressed here. An Evaluative Study on Energy Efficient Building MaterialsAM Publications
Due to growing demand for floor space, and to accommodate emerging service industries and urban migration, India expects a doubling of floor space by 2030. Use of low embodied energy and cost effective building materials, in the building construction, can reduce the overall energy consumption significantly and thus eventually minimize energy footprint of buildings. In existing residential and small commercial buildings, over 50% of the energy loss is associated with heat transfer and air leakage through building envelope components. This paper suggest the various alternative building materials, their production and evaluation based on three components i.e. Embodied Energy, CO2 emission and Thermal Conductivity (K Value). Evaluation is done by calculating the normalised value of above three components and analysed. It is observed that Stabilized mud blocks have the least environmental impact followed by AAC Blocks, while Solid concrete blocks has the highest environmental impact. Waste material such as fly ash, used in large quantities, such as in AAC blocks, fly ash concrete blocks and FaL-G blocks, has a low impact on environment. Materials that use stone dust from stone crushing units also have a lower environmental impact. Cement based walling materials such as FaL-G blocks and solid concrete blocks require more water than other materials due to the curing process involved in their production. Clay based walling materials requires the least water.

STABILIZATION OF WASTE DUMP USING FLYASHDr. Naveen BP
Bangalore is facing problems due to old municipal solid waste dump yards
situated close to the expanding city as they are in the expansion zone of growing city. These
dump yards needs to be reclaimed for infrastructure development such as roads, buildings and
other needs. To reclaim the old dump sites, it is necessary to know the characteristics of solid
waste, more particularly the geotechnical properties. The characteristics of dumps sites are not
generally suitable for foundations of most types of structures coming on them and their
properties need to be improved. Also their characteristics vary change with aging due to their
degradation. This paper presents the results of stabilization of dumped waste by addition of
pozzolanic material such as fly ash. Laboratory tests such as Direct shear and California
Bearing Ratio (CBR) have been performed on dumped waste with fly ash. It was found that
addition of 20% of fly ash the shear strength of dumped waste has increased considerably. Also
CBR of stabilized waste dumps, which is important in the reclamation of dumped sites, has been
analyzed. It was that CBR of stabilized dumps was higher value for 5 mm penetration than for
2.5 mm penetration and tests were conducted to confirm the same. It was observed that the
improvement in CBR is promising and further studies are required to improve to the material to
form suitable for foundations.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
