Small Scale Automatic Jaggery Production(AJP) SystemEditor IJMTER
Jaggery or pug is the one of the main agricultural products which is widely used in individual
households, eateries, restaurants, hotels and clubs and industrial applications. In this paper an automatic
system to improve the production rate, increase the quality of product and to address the labor problems in
the plant is presented. This proposed model is designed to control and monitor the processes of
manufacturing jaggery product. The main controlling console of the automatic jaggery production system
is microcontroller (Atmel). Which read the sensors (LM35) measure physical quantity temperature of the
boiling sugarcane juice to monitor the temperature to get good quality molten jaggery. The movement of the
pan is controlled by DC motor and switches through the programming the microcontroller, along with the
opening of control valve for the easy flow of molten jaggery(pug) into the cooling pit to get the required
shape of jaggery to reduce the labor work.

Fluid flow dynamics inside an engine combustion cyl inder plays an important role for air-fuel mixture preparation. IC Engine model is developed u sing CATIAV5R20 tool. The model is then imported to Finite Element pre-processing tool HYPER MESH for the meshing analysis. The model is then imported to Finite Element solver tool. ANSYS FLUENT is used for post processing the results. The flow dynamics inside th e cylinder for different minimum valve lift is studied using FEA. Dynamic motion is visualized and velocity magnitude is plotted for different crank angle from 0� to 730�. Finally velo cities and crank angles for various valve lifts are compared.

The report submitted presents detailed performance evaluation analysis for production of 5tonne
hydraulic jack. The main task is to produce it using two approaches namely conversional and reverse
engineering. Conversional design team were able to design the jack with all the necessary tolerance and limits,
those involve design calculations, producing standard drawing and cost analysis on each part involve. While
reverse engineering team were able to produce the jack through reverse engineering procedures and approach,
this involve selection of materials needed to produce the parts with our machines in the workshop, test analysis
for each component, assembling and testing to ensure effective performance

is highly a non linear process. A Model based controller is designed for the process at different operating
regions and its performance is studied with and without disturbance. The aim is to control the liquid level
of tank. Piecewise linearization technique is applied for linearising the non linear system output. An
Internal Model control is designed for each region. The controller will be simulated using MATLAB
SIMULINK software.

Abstract Under the present regime of globalization and liberalization, quality enhancement and cost reduction are two major steps to enhance productivity in major Industries. We focused on the very practical, safe, economical and rewarding strategies i.e. the application of LOW COST AUTOMATION. In Industry which uses of automation, a sequence is followed in the manufacturing of number of products of the same kind and thus chance for Automation. In our research we have achieved low cost automation through a Programmable Logic Controller (SIEMENS SIMANTIC S7300PLC with STEP7 software). It is used to replace the necessary sequential relay circuits for the control on the devices. In automated system, PLC is usually the central part of the control system. With execution of a program stored in program memory, PLC continuously monitors status of the system through signals from input devices (sensors). Based on the logic implemented in the program PLC determines which action is to be executed with output instruments Actuators). Depending on our requirement Pneumatic actuators, Solenoid valves and sensors are used to run the sequence. Flow control valves are used to regulate the flow of air pressure where ever necessary. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
