After collecting the surveys I distributed, I found very vital data. I surveyed all competent
residents and all employed CNAs. The surveys asked questions based on the quality of care
provided and the stress levels from this issue. Many of the residents commented that they would
like CNAs to stop in and visit. Some of the CNAs said they could complete all the tasks if a third
CNA was on duty.
I created the survey through SurveyMonkey and handed them out personally to each resident and
CNA. The survey provided very conclusive results and made it easy to get an understanding of what
the people involved in the problem thought.
The survey issued to the residents had 25 individual responses. When residents were asked if the
quality of care was inconsistent, 28% said yes, 48% said sometimes, and 24% said no, as shown

resident said no, 9 of the residents said sometimes, and 12 of the residents said no. When the
residents were asked from their experience if employees were leaving this organization

create power and drama to match the music.
As I watched a tall woman, stumble blindly across a crowded stage in silence, the last thing that
crossed my mind was what kind of music could accompany such mundane yet ethereal movement.
If I were to have guessed what musical score would be used for Pina Bausch s abstract
choreography, I surely never would have imagined Henry Purcell s arias from Dido and Aeneas. On
a basic level, Pina s choreography seemed to have no correlation to the music. The sporadic
rhythm of her choreography never seemed to follow the trembling voice of the soprano or
dramatic cry of the violins. In fact, as furniture and dancers unpredictably crash around the stage,
her choreography almost serves as a second, contrasting musical score. At first, the choice of
seemed as random as which chair the sleep walking women ran into yet her musical choice still

The End Of Education By Neil Postman
This paper is a response to Chapter Three: Some New Gods that Fail of Neil Postman s The End of
Education . This excerpt focuses on what Postman considers the dangerous faith of many in the
field of education to engage in idolatry of technology. He goes on to support his argument that
concludes that the improvements promised to us by technophiles working in educationare not
forthcoming and will likely make things worse. Postman writes in this chapter a critique of the
logical failings he observes in his contemporaries on how education should be improved. In
disagreement with Postman s opinion I wish to highlight how he has failed to understand how
interactive media is fundamentally different than previous media formats and that his focus on
overzealous promises from bureaucrats has blinded him to the actual opportunities for real growth
in education.
One of his earliest points is to attack the optimistic vision of Dr. Diane Ravitch, the former
Assistant US Secretary of Education (Postman, 38). He cites a piece she wrote that creates a
fictitious child called Little Eva who elects to learn Algebra while dealing with a case of insomnia
(Postman, 39). Postman claims that Ravitch s child is so different from any he has met on earth
and that she must have come from mars (Postman, 39). At best this statement seems to be arguing a
point that ignores the context that it was given in and more alarmingly sounds much like a Counsel
