Biography Of Shirin Neshat, The Third Religious City Of Iran
Born in Qazvin, the third religious city in Iran, in 1957, Shirin Neshat was sent to the United States at
the age of 17, to study art at the UC Berkley. Her father was a physician, who under the influence of
the westernization the fashionable idea of the era and rejecting all the traditional values, sent his
children abroad to continue their studies.
After receiving her MFA in painting, willing to learn more about the western art, Neshat moved to
New York, attended many art classes and artists meetings, and that was when she met her future
husband, a Korean curator Kyong Park, who was the director and founder of Storefront for Art and
Architecture. She calls that time as a good opportunity to get exposed to different artistic ideas and
events.
Stranded in America by the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran, Neshat returned to her country in 1990 for
the first time. She found this journey extremely shocking, due to the huge amount of difference in
Iranian costumes and social behavior, between the after revolution time, and what she could
remember. I had never been in a country that was so ideologically based . She could remember that
chador a black veil that covers most of the body except the face in a movement against the Shah s
dictatorship and the influences of the Western beauty industry, was adopted by educated feminists in
the 1960s and 1970s, and now many women treated the chador as a captive uniform.

Stranger And Fiction By Harold Crick
Harold Crick in Stranger Than Fiction is a man who starts and ends every day the same way for
twelve years. He starts off each day by brushing his teeth seventy six times. He leaves for the bus at
the same time each day calculating his steps. However, Harold was brushing his teeth on an average
Wednesday and he heard a voice. He did not know where the voice was coming from; eventually, he
concluded the voice was a narrator in his head. The voice in Harold s head changed his life forever.
The voice is narrating every aspect of his life, until she says he is going to die. Harold now realizes
that he is a main character of a book. He knows that if the narrator wants him to die, he will because
everything else she says is true. Harold reflects on the way he has been living his life. Harold gets up
and follows the same routine every day; it is obvious he is a bit obsessive compulsive. He notices that
the way he has been living his life is boring. Harold realizes he doesn t want to live like this anymore
and is going to find out whom the narrator is. Harold breaks out of his daily routine to track down the
narrator. He did not miss a day of work for twelve years and now is taking time off to get to the
bottom of this. Harold is walking without counting his steps and no longer lives in solitude. Instead of
living at home, Harold is living with a friend. He spends every day meeting with the professor trying
to figure out who is narrating his life. In the meantime, he is doing

Short Story Of Lystra s Attack
A sudden explosion, waves of sound and shifting ground caused both Lystra and Gyn to drop to the
ground in fear of debris. Lystra stood as soon as the explosion dissipated. Running towards the sound
of fire, she soon saw a crowd surrounding the Phoenix. Grabbing one of the extinguishers near a pile
of supplies, Lystra pulled the tab and threw it into the flames. Smoke engulfed the entire area
immediately, and made easy access to the ship as Lystra skirted around the crowd of humans and
Tareelians alike. Alec! she yelled, knowing she had left him working on the landing gear when Gyn
came to talk. A few pieces of debris crunched beneath her feet, as Lystra awaited some gruesome sight
to be revealed in the fading smoke. Lystra! a voice ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The fire seemed to start in one of the containers. Several members of the crowd calls out guesses,
from some sort of accident to sabotage. Alec notices something, and pulls out part of my pack, now
nothing but a bit of burnt cloth. The Mech tried to blow up the ship, one of the men says. It was
probably one of the ones who wanted to have her locked up after the Tareelians announced the
surprise to see a Mech still among humans. That moment from then on, if Lystra wasn t blamed for
something, she was being feared by those who thought she would turn her ability against them.
Checking on the landing gear, Lystra worked fast, hoping to finish up before the crowd started after
her. Alec was next to her, picking out a problem there, and loose wire here, as Lystra guided things
into place with a few thoughts while still holding tools like she knew how to use them. A sudden flash
of something, and the next thing Lystra remembered was being thrown to the ground as Alec covered
her. At first, she thought the blood dripping down her arm was hers, at least until she saw Alec s arm.
Sticking out of his arm was a chunk of metal, one of the pieces of debris still scattered around the
ship, thrown by one of the

Stress in the Emergency Department
Stress, Burnout, and Compassion Fatigue in the Emergency Department Background
Nursing is a field that many enter with the intention of helping and providing care to those with
mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs (Lombardo Eyre, 2011). Many consider nursing as
their calling; yet have not prepared themselves for the emotional and physical implications that come
from having interpersonal relationships with families and patients. As nurses care for the ill,
traumatized, and vulnerable patients in their charge, they inadvertently expose themselves to the pain,
suffering, and trauma that their patients are experiencing on a regular basis.
When the continued stress of this field is not dealt with, one can become a victim of the overwhelming
need that surrounds them, which can result in burnout or compassion fatigue. This not only effects
ones physical and emotional health, but also results in decreased productivity and job satisfaction, as
well as increasing job turnover rate (Lombardo Eyre, 2011; Boyle, 2011). This concept is
predominantly true of those working in the Emergency Department, and is actually where the context
of compassion fatigue was first noted approximately two decades ago, but is also seen across the
spectrum of health care providers in all areas (Boyle, 2011).
This topic will be discussed further in the words following, as well as an exploration of ways to
overcome compassion fatigue in the workplace.

The Country Of China Is Landlocked Essay
As the world population continues to grow, the world that humans live in will continue to get harder
because eventually almost everything in the world will run out. Many of the most important things
that humans need in life are the things that are going to run out. If humans continue their ways, life
will go from being hard to being almost impossible. There are places around the world that have
already took that next step into changing the way they live to help the future. A great example of this
is in China where the country of China is overpopulated. Chinas step into helping the future is by
limiting family s to only have one child to keep population down and in turn keep future population.
This whole population idea leads into natural resources because the more humans that live on earth,
the more natural resources are need to be used. Someone may ask what is a natural resource? The
answer to this question is, a natural resource is industrial materials and capacities (as mineral deposits
and waterpower) supplied by nature. In other words, natural resources are resources that are not
human made and that occur naturally such as fresh water, trees, oil and rocks. Natural resources are
very important for humans because anyone most humans can use them and you do not need to pay to
create them. The catch about natural resources is that they are not unlimited and Earth will run out of
them eventually if humans continue to abuse them. The Earth has gotten to a point that in the

The Out Of Body Experiences
Out of Body Experiences Out of Body Research Foundation noted Stephanie C Experiences on April
25/2016 I remember drowning somehow (I think by a lake or river or something) and eventually
knowing I had passed. All of a sudden I felt an out of body experience and like I was being lifted up
through a vortex. A very intense vortex, it felt like I was going at least 100 mph. The scenery looked
like bright light and like I was passing through a bunch of stars. The vortex eventually stopped
however, and then my out of body experience occurred (OBERF, 2016). . Out of body experiences are
a process that focuses on the feeling of floating outside one s body, and some cases, the feeling of
perceiving one s physical body as if from a place outside one s body (Brugger Mohr, 2009, p. 137).
Out of body experiences may refer to astral projections or near death experiences. Astral projections
refer to a person s conscious detachment from one s physical body that can travel or exist outside of
the body, these individual who experience such phenomena often are aware of their surroundings and
can hear what is being said around them (Slick, n.d.). In turn, near death experience refers to the
possibility of detachment from one s body, a feeling of levitation, total serenity, security, warmth and
absolute dissolution and the presence of light; usually associated with death (McRae, 2014). These are
indexes for the paranormal. Out of body experiences could happen to anyone, but many skeptics

Furthermore, tissue microarrays are another high throughput technique that permits multiple assays to
be performed for multiple patients on a single slide as up to 1000 tissue samples can be arrayed into a

The high accuracy tissue microarray instrument obtains tissue cores from predefined areas of tissue

breast cancer (McVeigh et al. 2014)
MammaPrint is a DNA microarray which includes hybridization of complementary DNA of 70 gene
assay using specific probes to decide the gene expression levels.(Duffy et al. 2017)
This test was produced using breast cancer biopsies from patients who had underwent surgery but had
not received any systemic therapy for their primary tumor and had been followed up for 5 years. The
majority of the 70 genes were selected from a microarray of 25,000 genes (Duffy et al. 2017)
Using the MammaPrint test, the patients can be isolated into low or high risk categories,
corresponding to a 10 year distant metastasis free survival rate of more than 90% or less than 90%,
respectively. The validation study used for MammaPrint assay showed that women classified as low
risk had a 10% possibility of distant recurrence and those classified as high risk had a 29% chance of
recurrence, without adjuvant therapy at 10 years. (Balazs et al.2015)
MammaPrint has a broader indication than Oncotype DX by including both ER‫‏‬positive and ER
negative patients and has been endorsed by the FDA for utilization as a prognostic test

Communication Apprehension And Learning Styles
I, am a very private person, as well as a student. As students we are faced with the ever present threat
of teachers who call on us even when our heads are down taking notes and our hands are not raised.
As a student and a very private person I have come to detest these occurrences. However while doing
some research I came across an article written by Dr. Travis L. Russ professor of Communications and
Media Management at Fordham University in New York about communication apprehension and
learning styles. In this article Dr. Russ says that there is a coloration between people with high
communication apprehension and learning better from reflective work and thinking, while people with
a lower amount of communication apprehension prefer to do direct experiments (Russ, 2012). When I
share things that I am thinking there is usually a long pause in between the questions asked and my
answer, which is caused by me making sure that what I say is not especially revealing towards my
inner thoughts. When I was in Advanced Public Speaking the hardest presentation for me to give was
the speech of introduction. I hate doing those even if I am just sitting down at a desk posting a
recording of it I still get extremely anxious over what I have said, what if I offend someone? did that
sound too harsh? I hope they don t think I m weird. These things are a constant when I am preparing
to talk about myself. I believe that by looking at Social Penetration Theory we can better

Strengths And Weaknesses Of Confucianism
For all the strengths of Confucian attitudes toward nature, there are also weaknesses that must be
recognized. As a governance system, Confucianism s emphasis on hierarchy has served the programs
of political elites, fostering a disconnect between rulers and the ruled. This pattern has contributed to
poor environmental management over time, despite Confucian philosophy emphasizing unity between
humans and the land (Elvin, 2004; Tuan, 1968). Even within a single tradition, Chinese environmental
values are not monolithic. But clearly, Confucian values are insufficient by themselves to ground

Sandy Hook Promise Persuasive Goals
The ability to do anything effectively is through knowledge of the different tools to do the task, and
which tool would be most effective. Persuading an audience with an advertisement is no different. The
goal of an advertisement is for viewers to purchase a product or learn about a subject. An
advertisement is considered effective when the targeted audience is persuaded to take the action that
the advertisement is suggesting. An advertisement by the Sandy Hook Promise, Evan, focuses on a
boy in high school. The advertisement shows him exchanging messages on a desk with an unknown
girl. Once he discovers who the girl is, someone enters the room they are in with a gun. The
advertisement then goes on to show that the violent act should not have ... Show more content on

The study surveyed participants attitudes towards organizations after watching advertisements by
organizations. The advertisements varied in levels of guilt evoked. The purpose of the study was to see
how appealing to guilt would influence the effectiveness of the advertisement. What the researchers
found was guilt appeals can have positive effects on behavioral intentions, notably donating behavior
(2007, p. 729). This suggests that when someone feels guilty, they want to get rid of the guilt and
believe that they can do so through their own actions and help society. Even though the study is
focused on donations, the concept regarding an advertisement s effectiveness is the same. Donating
money is a simple action, since it is sometimes a one time thing people do, and does impose a burden
of time to the donator. Visiting a website is no different because it too is an action that is only taken
once, and is not extremely time consuming. The study also discovered that children s charities are of
high personal importance to the majority of people (Hibbert et al., 2007). This is related to the Sandy
Hook Promise advertisement because when people see the source of the advertisement, Sandy Hook
Promise, they see the organization as one that affects the

Marsalis Phenomenon Analysis
Despite this turn over, the pattern of moving from one style to the next benefited postmodern jazz
musicians as they were able to capitalize upon the apparent open mindedness from the public to the
varied methods of musical expression (358). Through the help of the Association for the Advancement
of Creative Musicians (AACM), musicians were able to find performing opportunities, rehearsal
space, and other career support (358). The first president of the organization, pianist Richard Abrams,
gathered musicians such as Anthony Braxton, and Lester Bowie to produce work that focused on the
qualities of sound as opposed to conventional delineations of harmony, melody, and rhythm (358).
Many artists from the organization came to make their mark on postmodernism as their work reflected
a breakdown of styles into their constituent elements, sometimes focusing on one isolated aspect while
at other times combining the pieces into surprising new wholes (359). Artists such as Wynton Marsalis
took the spotlight in the supplemental reading for the thirteenth week. The article The Wynton

generation. His music was heavily influenced by the African American culture much like artists both
before and after Marsalis. This is where the articles keynote came in as the spirit of jazz is the spirit of

Analysis Of Stairway To Heaven
No matter how many times somebody is asked to give an explanation to what the song Stairway to
Heaven really perseveres, different answers will be given every time. The song Stairway to Heaven
was written by Led Zeppelin in 1971. Throughout all these years, still everybody has their own
interpretation to the song, and they will respond differently based upon what the true meaning of the
song really is. The reason being is, the song represents many different values throughout it, and it is
the others choice to determine the outlook on it.
In 1980, Led Zeppelin could have had the biggest tour in the history of rock and roll. Although, this
never happened because one of the members, Rob Plant, refused to be a part of it. He rejected to
reunite with the rest of the group because he believed that no amount of money is worth having to sing
Stairway to Heaven. To begin with, when asked about Rob Plant s interpretation of the song, he
responded with I still interpret the song a different way and I wrote the lyrics. In addition, he believed
that the lyrics took some rough shots. In the beginning of it, he claims that it is meant towards a
woman who strives for money, only to find out the unpleasant way that is going to be keeping her
from reaching her stairway to heaven. Rob Plant had no other reason for stating what his meaning was
towards writing the song, but he did note that he saw it as a woman getting everything she wanted
without giving anything back. According to an

The Light Brigade Comparison
The poem called the Light Brigade on my thoughts was a very deadly battle. This battle happened
between the British, Russians, and French s. The battle of the Light Brigade happened on October
25th, 1854 in Balaclava, Russia. The soldiers went on rode the six hundred. Into the valley of death.
` My thoughts about that us that The 600 men who rode into that war compared to the movie were are
a lot more deadly than described in the poem. The courage Michael had was crazy from listening to
his dad read the poem the Light Brigade to him. Michael gained the courage to believe because of this
poem in the movie and in the poem Colonel Shewell. In the movie honor to be brave and to make
sacrifices is the main idea. Michael engendered this story to existence. The poem and the movie were
really diverse during the story. The cannon fire flourished, left, right everywhere around the soldiers
the war blaze and total mass chaos.
The result of the war was 278 deaths of British Light Brigade soldiers. Observing the charge a french
marshal remarked: it is magnificent, but it is not war. It is madness. When news of this reached
London there was a national scandal. Tennyson wrote a poem for the 600 rode on.

Essay about History At Its Best
The modern era stands out as a time of great change. Throughout history, it is undoubtedly the period
of time in which the most advancement has occurred in society, in the shortest amount of time. The
three books, The Interesting Narrative, by Olaudah Equiano, Victors and Vanquished, by Stuart B.
Schwartz, and A Social Contract, by Jean Jeacques Rousseau, each provide a view of the modern era
in their own individual ways. Olaudah Equiano s account of his life as a slave is directed at the
problem of slavery. Stuart B. Schwartz Victors and Vanquished, provides a collection of personal
accounts about the conquest of Mexico under the command of Hernando Cortes. Lastly, Rousseau s, A
Social Contract, expounds upon the problems that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Olaudah s writing includes his own take on slavery, and in the conclusion of his book, he reveals his
appeal to the public in order to end slavery. He argues on several bases which would appeal to the
public of modern society. He gives them the account of slavery s horrors, and then takes on moral,
economical, religious, and lawful standpoints, in order to persuade the public that slavery is an ill to
society, especially in a time of positive growth.
Olaudah wrote a revised introduction to his readers,
Pumarejo 3
stating that his purpose, or rather the purpose of his book, is to, be the means, in it s measure, of
showing the enormous cruelties practiced on my sable brethren, and strengthening the genuine
emulation now prevailing in this country, to put a speedy end to a traffic both cruel and unjust.
(Equiano 1745, 5) This is written after the book s first release, and shows the purpose of his writing,
referring to the effect it has had on the fight for slavery s abolishment. In his writings, Olaudah
challenges the practice of slavery by an appeal to the senses. His story is obviously one of horror, and
through telling it he hopes that the readers will evoke in themselves compassion towards his calling.
He admits that his case is a rare one, and alludes to the greater horrors that many other slaves were
forced to endure.
I think the most interesting, and relevant, arguments that Olaudah makes, is not on the basis of the
horrible treatment

New Federalism Essay
Two rudimentary stratums exist in the U.S legal system: state law and federal law. Federal laws apply
to the entire nation, whereas state laws affect only said states. Currently, the age of New Federalism, is
upon the U.S. This can be traced back to Nixon in the late 1960s. The era of New Federalism is
described as the transfer of powers from the federal government back to the states. This transfer of
powers seems to be outweighed by the initial power of the federal government when assessed closely.
First, let s get down to the facts. After the tragedy of 9/11, Homeland Security was implemented.
Around fifty billion U.S. federal dollars are being provided to state/local governments yearly to meet
Homeland Security requirements. The president and congress work together to form a budget that

Much more allocation betwixt the state and federal government to improve homeland security was
carried out. Bettering communications between state and federal authorities brought forth the idea to
educate government officials on what each sector can expect from the others. FEMA (Federal
Emergency Management Agency) was created to make communication run smoothly between the
federal, state, and local governments. Having one main correspondence at the federal level eases the
distribution of power to the states and local authorities. FEMA recently asked state and local
authorities for input on how it should spend $3.5 billion. A meeting took place with over fifty
representatives in first responder positions. Resulting, the weight of mobility ultimately falls to the
political leaders of each state and city within the United States. Leaders such as those in New York as
well as Baltimore have taken the duty of increasing security for the citizens of which they represent.
In this process, they have noted that many federal tools are available to help them when

The Relationship Between Axioms And Practical Principles...
The Relationship between Axioms and Practical Principles of Religion
After introducing the axioms of Islam and finding faith in them, the next step in this life changing
journey is to accomplish certain commands as a result of those beliefs which will lead us to a life of
eternal satisfaction and bliss. Now one might wonder, what relates those fundamental principles or
axioms i.e. Monotheism (Tawhid) [1], Prophethood (Nubuwwah), and Afterlife (Ma ad) to practical
principles of religion? Are they even related? If yes, how is this relationship justified? What comes
next will hopefully provide an answer to these questions.

Prayer (Salat): The performance of the daily prayer five times a day with specific form.
Fasting (Sawm): The act of voluntarily preventing oneself from eating and drinking during a particular
part of the day from the time of Dawn Prayer (Salat al Fajr) until Dusk prayer(Salat al Maghrib).
The Holy Pilgrimage (Hajj): An annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, and a mandatory religious duty
for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by those who are physically and
financially capable of undertaking the journey, and can support their family during their absence.
Alms tax (Zakat): Paying an exact amount of money that has become obligatory through the rules of
Sharia in order to be used in favor of the people in need or for certain beneficial deeds in society.
Khums: A money proportional to one fifth that every person should pay based on some certain criteria.

Whole grains, always whole grains.
Fish We ve been hearing a lot lately about how great fish can be, but the Mediterraneans seem to have
known that since a long long time ago. Salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines, and trout are packed with
Omega 3 fatty acids, help decrease triglycerides, have anti inflammatory properties, and can decrease
the risk for heart disease.
Fresh Fruits Color and variety are important, and in the Mediterranean outdoor markets are common
so people have easy access to large selections of fresh produce.
Fresh Vegetables Same as with fruit, color and variety are important. The phytonutrients in fresh

Oh, I see you are willing to listen now. Well, pray, stay and hear the tale of an old politician. I fought
for the freedom of millions of enslaved African Americans during my time in Parliament, which for
those of you who aren t aware, is the governing body of Britain. These poor beings were human just as
we are, and were cruelly forced to work against their will. I am credited by historians as leading the
movement to pass the Slave Trade Act of 1807, which ended the sale and purchase of slaves
throughout the British Empire, which included the West Indies and India as well as England.
Unfortunately, abolition was not achieved in Britain until after I passed away in 1833. Again, history

When you are renovating a bathroom and getting ready to install a shower, you may hear a number of
different terms. Some of these may refer to the materials being used to construct your new shower,
including marble and cultured marble. Understanding the difference between these two popular
building materials can help you make the right decision for your home.
Marble Overview
Marble is a natural stone material made mostly of calcite. A metamorphic stone, marble is actually
limestone that has been changed through tremendous amounts of heat and pressure. The different
minerals that were present in the limestone at the time it became marble give different types ... Show

The finished cultured marble product is sealed with a gel coat. As a result, cultured marble is glossy in
appearance with subtle, uniform veins and color. Cultured marble is formed inside heated molds into
vanity tops and shower surrounds.
Care of Marble in a Shower
As a natural stone, marble is porous. Marble in a shower should be well sealed to avoid staining due to
water absorption. White marbles should never be used on shower floors, to avoid wicking up
impurities from the shower drain and discoloring over time. All marble in the shower should be
washed with stone cleansers, sealed regularly and squeegeed dry after each use to prevent stains and
etching.
Care of Cultured Marble in the Shower
Cultured marble is a non porous material, meaning that it does not need to be sealed. It can be cleaned
with any non abrasive bathroom cleanser and left to dry naturally. If the surface does become
scratched or abraded, it can be re polished with an application of automotive polish and a soft cloth.
Because it is easy to care for, most homeowners prefer cultured marble to natural marble.

This paper explores the career of a Senior Vice President. It examines the day to day duties and job
description for a SVP as well as how to become a Senior Vice President. It discusses the average
salary, how much education it requires to become a SVP, and the pros and cons of this career. This
paper will also discuss the future careers of SVPs along with a bio of Chris Kaighn, current SVP of
Tween Brands. Lastly, this paper will discuss how well suited I am for this career.
Job Description
A Senior Vice President has an array of responsibilities. A SVP is mainly responsible for helping their
company achieve financial goals as well as increasing performance of the company ( Senior Vice
President Job Description | Americasjobexchange.com, n.d.). I have seen how the senior vice president
of Justice, the company that I work for, has displayed these responsibilities. Chris Kaighn, Senior Vice
President of Justice, held a conference call in January of 2015. The objective of this conference call
was to identify ways Justice could increase revenue and drive sales. As Senior Vice President, she took
charge and identified new business opportunities. Things that were discussed on this conference call
just 3 short months ago, have already been implemented at Justice. Senior

Rise And Fall Of Amelia Earhart
Amelia Earhart disappeared in 1937 on an attempted fly around the world. After her plane crashed,
many theories appeared, the most popular being she crashed and died from mechanical difficulties in
her plane. This theory is wrong for many reasons. Most likely, she had landed the plane on an
uninhabited island called Gardner. The theory is supposedly, while Amelia and Frederick where in the
air, they had noticed that fuel was running dangerously low. Fretting, Amelia landed the plane safely
on Gardner Island. This is where both her and Noonan died from lack of resources and no rescue on
the way ( Amelia Earhart Biography ) .

But, as patients started coming in with Spanish flu, it was not long before Amelia became a patient
herself. This became a major setback for her career ( Amelia Earhart Biography ).
After she was stably healthy again in 1920, her father and herself went to an airfield where he bought
Amelia a ten minute flight, and this is where she know she was meant to fly. After that experience, she
took many jobs in order to earn enough money for flying lessons and soon she was conspiring with
Anita Neta Snook, women aviator and Amelia s flying instructor. After a long while of hard work, she
had enough money to buy her own airplane but was forced to sell it soon after her parents were
divorced, for finances. Although, she did not have an airplane, she was still experienced in flying
(Shivani Ishwar).
In 1928, she received a call from Pilot Charles Lindbergh asking if she would like to participate in a

Walker Moment At Walmart
My Reflection Schaie and Sherry (2016) state that (p.?). I would like to start by saying that I quite
liked this assignment and past my partial embarrassment from walking my walker around it was a
really eye opening experience. Probably at least partially because of the embarrassment. I went to
three places while using the walker and these places were Walmart, my apartment, and my anatomy
lecture. The first place I well address during this reflection well be Walmart. Out of all of the places I
would say this was easiest to traverse while using the walker. The aisles were quite large and well
suited for walker movement, although I soon found out that it was impossible to move the cart along

This was without a doubt the most difficult of the three locations that I used the walker. My apartment
is absolutely not designed for walker use. Firstly, the steps leading up to my apartment door are often
covered in ice during the colder months because of how the roof pours water onto them. Not that, that
was problem while using my walker, but I could easily foresee a horrible accident if I was less able to
catch myself while walking up or down them. Then after enduring the walk up the stairs you get into
the apartment and through the door. Luckily it is one the first floor of the apartment building, so I don
t have to go up the steeper, smaller flight of stairs that lead to the second floor apartments. After
entering the apartment, you well come to find that we have are apartment set up in such a way that we
often end up sliding sideways past many things. For example, we often have a fan sitting in front of
the door way into our room and this is a pain in the ass to move with the walker. Because the top of it
slides off if you do not also grab the bottom part with it, so moving it while using the walker is next to
impossible. Then there is the kitchen. It is almost impossible to open the door of the fridge while the
walker is in the kitchen. It takes some rather clever maneuvering and effort to achieve the feat. So
certainly not ideal. Than it goes from the almost impossible kitchen, to the literally impossible

Why Does A Movie Flop
Films are both considered an art and a form of entertainment. To make such great films, you need an
amazing director, wonderful cast and crew, and one hell of a budget. But then again if a movie has all
of these then why do some films tend to just not make it into the box office charts. Why does a movie
flop anyways? There are a lot of films that unfortunately just didn t make it and we will be stating a
few examples of them in just a few but let me just enlighten you as to why these films tend to flop.
One of the things that has to be considered is its competition.
If your film is directed by an Academy Award director with an Academy Award winning cast, but the
movie you are competing with did a great job at advertising their film especially on the social media,
your film might not make it. There are a lot of great films (technically) that flopped not because it is
an awful film but because the people just don t find it interesting enough. So here are some films that
didn t quite make it into the box office charts, some might surprise you.

Armie Hammer and Helena Bonham Cart, stars in this western action film. According to critics, it
didn t quite make because it was way too over budget and it was completely unnecessary. It wouldn t
be considered a flop if the budget is less than $375 million because that just meant that they need to
make more than $600 million to be considered profitable for the studio. But unfortunately, the film
only made $260.5 million, which still a lot for a film but obviously Disney didn t get enough money
back, that is why it is considered as a

Ivan Boszormenyi Nagy is also a contributor to this therapy (Parrott, III, 2003). This theory is based

help families work through a traumatic experience. When you are counseling a person that has been
subjected to a family prone to alcoholism this child tends to show different ways of functioning and
you have to take that into consideration as to how to proceed. Family therapy is often encouraged
when you are trying to repair a family that has gone through a crisis because this can show them that
they can work together as a team to get past the issue. In most other therapies, the counseling session
has two individuals present, the counselor and the client. According to PsychologyCampus.com (2004

assessing the entire family (para. 1). This is where family therapy differs and can be challenging.

Analysis Of On Noise Essay
On Noise, is a stoic piece composed by Seneca who was raised in Rome during the first century AD.
On Noise explores an aspect of humanity that is surprisingly appropriate for our current times, how it
is part of human nature to become distracted. Seneca explores the fascinating idea of how it is human
nature to be distracted and that we must busy ourselves with tasks or succumb to the danger of being
overcome by the distractions or the noise that surrounds us, he does through the extended metaphor of
the obvious distractions of sound and by using the scenario of busy street in everyday life, for the sake
of this essay we will take the definition of human nature to be The general psychological
characteristics, feelings and behavioural traits of human kind, regarded as shared by all humans . We
as a reader must take into account that this is a translation of a Latin text and that in Latin the order
that the words are written is extremely important, even so that writers such as Ovid or Pliny could
spend days on single sentences trying to perfectly compose it, Latin prose is an art form in itself, but
we can grasp the simple techniques that are just as applicable in English as they are in Latin, and
henceforth from them the examination of human psyche that Seneca has gone through in this text. We

Reasons For File A Police Report Essay
CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction
This chapter provides background of the study and presents the problem statement. It clarifies the
research objectives, research questions, and describes the significance of the study. Organization of the
remaining chapters is provided towards the end of this chapter.
We focus on the modelling of police reporting processes in Malaysia. The fact that everybody knows,
under the law, people have the right to lodge a police report. In the past, the police would actually
dissuade people from filing a police report some times. One could not get their schedule as to when
those times struck and so that made it difficult and frustrating. They will tell people it is not required
or there is no point because they will not investigate or take any further action, or give people excuses
to send people from station to station until people get so frustrated, or just flat out refuse to take down
the complaint.
There are many reasons to file a police report. Some of the most common reasons are to ease of
finding and arresting a suspect in a crime, adding serial numbers to statewide databases to recover
stolen property and tracking criminal activity in various areas to prevent future crimes. A police report
should be filed in the city or jurisdiction where the crime occurred. They need to get the most accurate
information possible to conduct a thorough investigation.
Based on the literature review and an interview with police officer, we come

The Effects of Gender Roles on Chinese Natal Policies
The Effects of Gender Roles on Chinese Natal Policies
China is quickly becoming a very prosperous nation. There is one aspect, however, that threatens to
derail its rise to prosperity, the exponentially high birth rates. To combat China s growing population,
government officials enforced an anti natalist policy known as the One Child Policy. Ultimately, the
policy amounted to an assault on China s system of gender norms and roles ( Family Planning ). With
the implementation of China s One Child Policy, sex preference among babies has become evident.
Socially, it has been the duty of a woman to obey her father as a child; her husband as a married
person; and her son as a widow ( Confucianism: Woman s Way ). In regards to the ... Show more

This notion exists because China is built on tradition. In Chinese tradition, women are solely
homemakers and have no purpose outside the home. Thus, men felt that if tradition was disrupted,
chaos would be unleashed throughout China. Although these laws were created to prevent
discrimination, they were not enforced. As a result, discrimination continued. Experts say that only
few women dare to sue employers for unfair hiring practices, dismissal on grounds of pregnancy or
maternity leave, or sexual harassment ( Equality Still a Dream ). Ultimately, women are able to work
outside the home in modern day China; however, they are still hesitant to defend themselves out of
fear of losing their jobs. Preference between males and females still exists in the workforce due to the
fact that males are not subject to paternity leaves or sexual harassment. Commonly, women are
restricted to behind the desk jobs such as secretaries, financial analysts, and librarians as that require
very little labor. Indubitably, women also earn less than men as they must retire five years earlier than
men who are in the same jobs ( Equality Still a Dream ). Thus, a male is preferred as his role in the
workforce is considered to be more substantial than that of a woman, which further emphasizes a son
preference in China.
Not only are a woman s social status and contribution to the workforce causes of the One Child Policy,

Ampicillin VS Inhibition Zone Growth of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus
faecalis
Introduction
The variety of bacteria that lives in our world today is endless. With variety of bacteria comes a
numerous amount of adaptations and enhancements that the bacteria develops, including antibiotic
resistance. Escherichia coli, better known as E.coli, is a gram negative bacteria with several different
types of clones with a variety of effects. E.coli often enters the intestinal tract as soon as an infant is
born and some forms of it are not pathogenic but rather beneficial to the body(Kaper et al, 2004).
When infected with pathogenic E.coli, the body often responds, depending of the type of pathogenic
E.coli, with diarrhea, vomiting, upset stomach. etc. The rate at which E.coli is adapting, is creating a
much more difficult job to find antibiotics that can eliminate the growth of this bacteria (Tadasse et al.,
2002). Enterococcus faecalis is an infectious bacteria that often thrives in extreme environments
(McBride et al, 2007). Enterococcus faecalis is an opportunistic gram positive bacteria that is usually
found in the vaginal tract, intestinal tract or the oral cavity. This bacteria has a high resistance to many
bile salt detergents, heavy metals, ethanol, azide, and desiccation, worries hospitals due to their
variable tolerance (Zhang W et al, 2013). Staphylococcus Aureus is also an infectious gram positive

The Problem Of Global Climate Change
Other than political stories in 2016 we still see and hear of many Global Warming scenarios, what
causes them, who is the main reason for the cause, and when it actually started. We are going to take a
look at the reality of what is really happening.
Let s assume that all ice caps and glaciers in the world melted. What would be the result of such a
catastrophe, how long would it take, who would be affects, and would we suffer any loss because of
this?
Global climate change has been more and more discussed with the ever changing climate, and the rise
of water levels, we need to figure out why the water levels have been changing so rapidly. Is there any
change we humans can do to prevent disaster? Or are we on a collision course with no way to turn
around?
This is a list of the known ice inventories within our world that I have found from Dr. Robert Johnston
regarding if the ice melts. As you can see Dr. Robert Johnston has done his studies and research about
this topic.
World ice inventory
A melting of the entire list would cause a rise of about 200 250 feet of the world wide sea level. This
seems dangerous, but it would take several hundred years to occur, if at all for that to even happen and
even if it did we would no longer be alive.
As Dr. Robert Johnston said Today the Earth has 148 million sq. km of land area, of which 16 million
sq. km is covered by glaciers. A sea level rise of 66 meters would flood about 13 million sq. km of
land outside of Antarctica. If we

will be looking at how this change is affecting society and whether or not we re better off than we

of this, many some drug usage and abuse hass decreased since 1997. Cocaine use is one of the few
that has gone down considerably, along with alcohol abuse some. Thanks to several anti tobacco
campaigns and similar agendas, tobacco use amongst Americans is declining by quite a bit, and even
more rapidly with teens. To conclude, in 2017 thanks to the efforts of government sponsored
campaigns tobacco and alcohol abuse has decreased dramatically since the 1990s, however newer and
more powerful drugs like methamphetamine and synthesized marijuana have gained in popularity over
the course of 20 years, and other drugs including opioids and heroin the like have grown to become
the most dangerous and most used today. Now we will observe the change in drug abuse from a direct
source. When asked if drugs use has increased or decreased since 1997, both of my subjects agreed it
had increased. When I asked what drugs in particular were more popular, the interviewed went along

Joan Vinckeboon Myth
A 1650 map, created by Joan Vinckeboon, titled Map of California Shown as an Island, echoes the

mainland North America. The Dutch cartographer and engraver Vinckeboon was born into a Flemish
family of artists and started out drawing for his father. About 1640, he started creating maps, and later
was employed by the Dutch West India Company, where he spent roughly three decades creating maps
that aided Dutch mercantile and military shipping. He was associated with the notable map and atlas

1.3. Recommendation
There are currently several platforms that have been developed to support a business that is primarily
done via e commerce. These platforms will integrate with the various business channels and centralize
inventory. Since KOR s sales platforms (i.e. Amazon, www.korwater.com, etc) are decentralized,
inventory will be kept in one bucket; allowing for all inventories at various locations to sync together.
This would mean, if a customer purchases a product on Amazon.com, the inventory will then sync to
all channels.
After researching several different platforms, I have determined that Stitch Labs will integrate best
with KOR s current business channels. The KOR Water website is set up on a Shopify platform, which
runs extremely well with the Stitch bridge. Stitch also integrates very well with the Amazon channels
and will allow KOR to continuously have a handle on how much inventory is held in each location
(USA and Canada). The platform will also allow us to send additional inventory from within the Stitch
Labs platform.
Once the platform is integrated with KOR s sales channels, the following benefits will be available:
Operations team will create one .csv file for inventory upon integration. Inventory will be completely
maintained as it flows out to the customer, effectively eliminating the need for the current system, the
Google Doc.

Abstract:
The case of White v Jones [1995] is a famous case in the English tort law which concerns the liability
of solicitors to the beneficiaries of the will with whom they have no contractual relationship if they
performed their work negligently. This case raises the questions of professional negligence, the third
party beneficiary (relationship) and the duty of care. In the case of White v Jones the Court of Appel

the party to whom it is owed a relationship characterised by the law as one of proximity or

The Importance Of Medical Tourism In Canada
Claim: Seeking healthcare abroad is growing among Canadians and providing them with good quality
of care.
Medical tourism is travelling internationally for non urgent medical treatment and paying out of
pocket money. The recent influx of this phenomenon attracted public attention. There s a big list of
international destinations where patients decide to travel to obtain a wide range of non urgent medical
procedures. These destinations range from low to high risk according to possible complications or
other undesired outcomes. Is medical tourism truly growing among Canadians and providing them
with good quality of care? The true answer remains unknown.
Canada is often described as one of the leaders in the realization of universal health coverage. This
universal health care system is a source of national pride for many Canadians. Canada has a publicly
funded national health insurance program (Medicare) which falls under the Canada Health Act that
was passed into law in 1984. This program guarantees, under federal law, that all Canadian residents
have reasonable access to medically necessary hospital and physician services on a prepaid basis, and
on uniform terms and conditions (1).
Accessibility and universality are key principles of the Canada Health Act, meaning that all Canadian
residents who are insured under Medicare should be able to have reasonable access to health care
facilities and receive the same level of care regardless of where they live, and their

How Did Industrialization Affect People In The 18th Century
The past is never dead.It s not even past. William Faulkner ,The world as we know it is based on our
past. Events that have been occurring for multiple years, still have effects on our society today.
Without the puzzle pieces of past events we wouldn t have all the advancements with technology and
industries that we have today. History has taught us how to be successful in certain situations and how
to learn from our mistakes. Many of these events are similar to the industrial revolution. All of these
turning points have become important aspects of our current society. The way industrialization affected
people in the 18th century still affect people the same today. Family and home life developed more.
Employment and the economy prospered. Also crime, order and city life became more handled and
organized.This lead to a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1750 the English population was about 5.7 million, 100 years later in 1850 the population nearly
tripled to 16.6 million. Low intensity agricultural system based on fishing and fowling was replaced
by a high intensity system based on arable crops The intensity greatened by the amount of
production. The farm system became more involved with rotating crops. The main crop was turnips
and clover, they switched with each other. They were replaced by low producing crops like rye. Nearly
30 percent of Britain was affected by more agricultural land being reclaimed.( More Food For More
People .WEB). The new farm system was very much sustainable; food output increased
dramatically. But just as a sustainable agriculture had been achieved also new fertilizers were
discovered. An essentially organic agriculture was gradually replaced by a farming system that
depended on energy intensive inputs. This was the main change the the agricultural revolution but also
this is what led to the population increase. With more food being around it eliminated hunger and let

The Reasons To Overcoming The Fear Of Math Anxiety
Many people when they look at a math problem experience levels of anxiety. If I was to ask any of
you to solve this Calculus problem on the board, how many of you would experience even the
slightest amount of math anxiety? All you do is plug in 3 for the value of X under the radical sign and
multiply it by 3, the answer will be 9 find the square root and your answer is 3. This is called finding
the Definite Integral with the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Students shouldn t have a fear of
math, instead they should enjoy it. There are numerous reasons as to why people fear math, I will go
over what you should do to overcome the fear of such an amazing subject. You shouldn t let math
scare you, once you get beyond your fear of math you will realize that it is one of the most beautiful
subjects out there with beneficial qualities.
Before I talk about what you should do to overcome your fear of math, let me explain why people fear
math. One of the biggest reasons why people fear math is because of anxiety. People can experience
math anxiety when the most basic form of math presents itself. Math anxiety can cause detrimental
effects on people. These effects have the potential to influence people when choosing careers.
According to the centre for neuroscience in education people who experience math anxiety avoid

Eileen Fisher
In the future, Eileen Fisher needs to make sure they deliver a consistent message, even if they are
attracting customers from other segments the focus needs to be on keeping the Eileen brand
consistent.
My recommendation for the future of the Eileen Fisher brand is that they need to focus on keeping the
Established segment engaged with the brand and grow their customer base by positioning the brand to
attract women from the emerging segment. They can accomplish this by positioning the brand as a
brand for successful women a brand that denotes accomplishment and that signifies that they ve
reached major milestones in their life. They also need to launch brand extensions and launch lines of
shoes, bags and accessories to bridge the gap between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But for new customers, the new brand extensions will be essential to be able to offer a competitive
product offering that will attract them to the brand. Therefore, we can avoid conflict between both
segments by letting them choose the products they want depending in their needs.
Another problem could be communication, how are they going to communicate the message to both
segments. The general message will be based on this idea of the successful woman with focus on the
traditional clothing line and slight emphasis on the accessories. More specific campaigns targeted in
social media, publications or events will be more specifically targeted to one of the segments, with
those aimed at the Nascent segment focusing more on the versatility and accessories and those
targeting the Established segment more centered on the traditional clothing

She calls that time as a good opportunity to get exposed to different artistic ideas and events. Stranded in America by the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran, Neshat returned to her country in 1990 for the first time. • 6. Stress in the Emergency Department Stress, Burnout, and Compassion Fatigue in the Emergency Department Background Nursing is a field that many enter with the intention of helping and providing care to those with mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs (Lombardo Eyre, 2011). Many consider nursing as their calling; yet have not prepared themselves for the emotional and physical implications that come from having interpersonal relationships with families and patients. As nurses care for the ill, traumatized, and vulnerable patients in their charge, they inadvertently expose themselves to the pain, suffering, and trauma that their patients are experiencing on a regular basis. When the continued stress of this field is not dealt with, one can become a victim of the overwhelming need that surrounds them, which can result in burnout or compassion fatigue. This not only effects ones physical and emotional health, but also results in decreased productivity and job satisfaction, as well as increasing job turnover rate (Lombardo Eyre, 2011; Boyle, 2011). This concept is predominantly true of those working in the Emergency Department, and is actually where the context of compassion fatigue was first noted approximately two decades ago, but is also seen across the spectrum of health care providers in all areas (Boyle, 2011). This topic will be discussed further in the words following, as well as an exploration of ways to overcome compassion fatigue in the workplace. Definition of Terms In order to ... • 7. The Country Of China Is Landlocked Essay As the world population continues to grow, the world that humans live in will continue to get harder because eventually almost everything in the world will run out. Many of the most important things that humans need in life are the things that are going to run out. If humans continue their ways, life will go from being hard to being almost impossible. There are places around the world that have already took that next step into changing the way they live to help the future. A great example of this is in China where the country of China is overpopulated. Chinas step into helping the future is by limiting family s to only have one child to keep population down and in turn keep future population. This whole population idea leads into natural resources because the more humans that live on earth, the more natural resources are need to be used. Someone may ask what is a natural resource? The answer to this question is, a natural resource is industrial materials and capacities (as mineral deposits and waterpower) supplied by nature. In other words, natural resources are resources that are not human made and that occur naturally such as fresh water, trees, oil and rocks. Natural resources are very important for humans because anyone most humans can use them and you do not need to pay to create them. The catch about natural resources is that they are not unlimited and Earth will run out of them eventually if humans continue to abuse them. The Earth has gotten to a point that in the ... Out of body experiences are a process that focuses on the feeling of floating outside one s body, and some cases, the feeling of perceiving one s physical body as if from a place outside one s body (Brugger Mohr, 2009, p. 137). Out of body experiences may refer to astral projections or near death experiences. Astral projections refer to a person s conscious detachment from one s physical body that can travel or exist outside of the body, these individual who experience such phenomena often are aware of their surroundings and can hear what is being said around them (Slick, n.d.). As students we are faced with the ever present threat of teachers who call on us even when our heads are down taking notes and our hands are not raised. In this article Dr. Russ says that there is a coloration between people with high communication apprehension and learning better from reflective work and thinking, while people with a lower amount of communication apprehension prefer to do direct experiments (Russ, 2012). When I share things that I am thinking there is usually a long pause in between the questions asked and my answer, which is caused by me making sure that what I say is not especially revealing towards my inner thoughts. What the researchers found was guilt appeals can have positive effects on behavioral intentions, notably donating behavior (2007, p. 729). This suggests that when someone feels guilty, they want to get rid of the guilt and believe that they can do so through their own actions and help society. Even though the study is focused on donations, the concept regarding an advertisement s effectiveness is the same. Donating money is a simple action, since it is sometimes a one time thing people do, and does impose a burden of time to the donator. The first president of the organization, pianist Richard Abrams, gathered musicians such as Anthony Braxton, and Lester Bowie to produce work that focused on the qualities of sound as opposed to conventional delineations of harmony, melody, and rhythm (358). Many artists from the organization came to make their mark on postmodernism as their work reflected a breakdown of styles into their constituent elements, sometimes focusing on one isolated aspect while at other times combining the pieces into surprising new wholes (359). Analysis Of Stairway To Heaven No matter how many times somebody is asked to give an explanation to what the song Stairway to Heaven really perseveres, different answers will be given every time. The song Stairway to Heaven was written by Led Zeppelin in 1971. Throughout all these years, still everybody has their own interpretation to the song, and they will respond differently based upon what the true meaning of the song really is. The reason being is, the song represents many different values throughout it, and it is the others choice to determine the outlook on it. In 1980, Led Zeppelin could have had the biggest tour in the history of rock and roll. Although, this never happened because one of the members, Rob Plant, refused to be a part of it. He rejected to reunite with the rest of the group because he believed that no amount of money is worth having to sing Stairway to Heaven. To begin with, when asked about Rob Plant s interpretation of the song, he responded with I still interpret the song a different way and I wrote the lyrics. In addition, he believed that the lyrics took some rough shots. In the beginning of it, he claims that it is meant towards a woman who strives for money, only to find out the unpleasant way that is going to be keeping her from reaching her stairway to heaven. I would like to start by saying that I quite liked this assignment and past my partial embarrassment from walking my walker around it was a really eye opening experience. The first place I well address during this reflection well be Walmart. Out of all of the places I would say this was easiest to traverse while using the walker. Firstly, the steps leading up to my apartment door are often covered in ice during the colder months because of how the roof pours water onto them. Not that, that was problem while using my walker, but I could easily foresee a horrible accident if I was less able to catch myself while walking up or down them. Then after enduring the walk up the stairs you get into the apartment and through the door. Luckily it is one the first floor of the apartment building, so I don t have to go up the steeper, smaller flight of stairs that lead to the second floor apartments. There are a lot of films that unfortunately just didn t make it and we will be stating a few examples of them in just a few but let me just enlighten you as to why these films tend to flop. One of the things that has to be considered is its competition. If your film is directed by an Academy Award director with an Academy Award winning cast, but the movie you are competing with did a great job at advertising their film especially on the social media, your film might not make it. It clarifies the research objectives, research questions, and describes the significance of the study. Organization of the remaining chapters is provided towards the end of this chapter. We focus on the modelling of police reporting processes in Malaysia. The fact that everybody knows, under the law, people have the right to lodge a police report. In the past, the police would actually dissuade people from filing a police report some times. One could not get their schedule as to when those times struck and so that made it difficult and frustrating. They will tell people it is not required or there is no point because they will not investigate or take any further action, or give people excuses to send people from station to station until people get so frustrated, or just flat out refuse to take down the complaint. There are many reasons to file a police report. Some of the most common reasons are to ease of finding and arresting a suspect in a crime, adding serial numbers to statewide databases to recover stolen property and tracking criminal activity in various areas to prevent future crimes. A police report should be filed in the city or jurisdiction where the crime occurred. They need to get the most accurate information possible to conduct a thorough investigation. Ultimately, the policy amounted to an assault on China s system of gender norms and roles ( Family Planning ). With the implementation of China s One Child Policy, sex preference among babies has become evident. Thus, men felt that if tradition was disrupted, chaos would be unleashed throughout China. Although these laws were created to prevent discrimination, they were not enforced. As a result, discrimination continued. Experts say that only few women dare to sue employers for unfair hiring practices, dismissal on grounds of pregnancy or maternity leave, or sexual harassment ( Equality Still a Dream ). Ultimately, women are able to work outside the home in modern day China; however, they are still hesitant to defend themselves out of fear of losing their jobs. Preference between males and females still exists in the workforce due to the fact that males are not subject to paternity leaves or sexual harassment. Commonly, women are restricted to behind the desk jobs such as secretaries, financial analysts, and librarians as that require very little labor. Indubitably, women also earn less than men as they must retire five years earlier than men who are in the same jobs ( Equality Still a Dream ). Heidi Torres Ampicillin VS Inhibition Zone Growth of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus faecalis Introduction The variety of bacteria that lives in our world today is endless. With variety of bacteria comes a numerous amount of adaptations and enhancements that the bacteria develops, including antibiotic resistance. Escherichia coli, better known as E.coli, is a gram negative bacteria with several different types of clones with a variety of effects. E.coli often enters the intestinal tract as soon as an infant is born and some forms of it are not pathogenic but rather beneficial to the body(Kaper et al, 2004). When infected with pathogenic E.coli, the body often responds, depending of the type of pathogenic E.coli, with diarrhea, vomiting, upset stomach. etc. The rate at which E.coli is adapting, is creating a much more difficult job to find antibiotics that can eliminate the growth of this bacteria (Tadasse et al., 2002). Enterococcus faecalis is an infectious bacteria that often thrives in extreme environments (McBride et al, 2007). Enterococcus faecalis is an opportunistic gram positive bacteria that is usually found in the vaginal tract, intestinal tract or the oral cavity. This bacteria has a high resistance to many bile salt detergents, heavy metals, ethanol, azide, and desiccation, worries hospitals due to their variable tolerance (Zhang W et al, 2013).
