Cultural Awareness And A Global Mindset
Cultural Awareness and a Global Mindset Management in Practice is a very special module for me
because it provides me a chance to study with international friends and study in a diverse
environment. After studying for two semesters, I have gradually established cultural awareness and a
global mindset which are extremely important when I graduate and start working. In today s modern
society we have to work with people from diverse background such as personality, nationality and
culture thus it is essential to understand these differences and Belbin test is very helpful in this
situation. Knowing your Belbin s team roles and others make it a lot easier to get along with each
members and lead to a better performance Belbin (1981) and this is why our group in MIP class
developed significantly. Besides Belbin test, I also learned about psychometric test from MIP class. A
psychometric test is a method to assess aptitudes, personality, or ability which consisting of verbal,
numerical and diagrammatic reasoning tests (practiceaptitudetests). It is very crucial when applying
for jobs. Apart from making me know myself, this module allowed me to be a leader as a coordinator
of a group. According to Bennis (1989), ...leaders do not seek to lead. Instead, they seek to express
themselves fully. They embrace risks and mistakes, learning from adversity. They reflect on all of their
experiences. With these skills, they inspire others to follow them . Although, I may not inspire others

The Concept Of Government Is The Self-Actualized Society
In our days, people all around the world more or less suffer from hunger, diseases, poverty, inequality,
crime, wars and etc., and government of different countries are not there to change things, but instead
to keep things as they are. There is a solution in understanding the nature of this suffering and finding
the alternative government system, which will solve the puzzle. Such system was introduced by
Jacque Fresco under the Venus Project. I am arguing that the best form of government is the self
actualized society . It is the scientific and technologically organized society where the role for
government would be surpassed by engineered systems. The self actualized society will replace
money based economies with a resource based world economy. There would be interdisciplinary
teams of knowledgeable people in different fields accompanied by cybernated systems to monitor all
aspects of society to provide real time information supporting decision making for the wellbeing of all
people and the protection of the environment. There are two reasons: people will have healthier, safer,
and flourishing environment, and the society will have more advanced and rapidly developing science.
Many current politicians say that the environment is not important and so, there is no need in self
actualized society. The planet has been here long before us and it will be after, it changes with time
and with human impact, but it will heal itself without our help.
Also, many people say that

Ohio Prison Health Care Case Study
Ohio Prison Health Care Suit The Ohio Justice and Policy center documented a claim in 2003 for
three prisoner s Rodney Fussell, Gary Roberts, and James Love. The prisoners stated that they
obtained incompetent medical care. Although some may argue, they are prisoners and do not deserve
medical care, they still have the legal right to obtain it. These three men suffered from Hepatitis C, and
periodontal disease.
An Overview
Rodney Fussell was an inmate at Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, who suffered with Hepatitis C.
According to Hep C Hope, Hepatitis C is a contagious liver disease that can lead to serious problems
including cirrhosis and liver cancer. To be treated, it is necessary to be prescribed medication, before
the disease is too progressed. Rodney Fussell was told that he contained a high level of liver enzymes
for a long period, but had not received diagnosis until five years later. When Fussell realized that he
tested positive for Hep C, he asked to be transported to a clinic to receive a consultation, which the
prison denied. Gary Roberts was an inmate who was housed at London Correctional Institution, in
Ohio. Like Mr. Fussell, Roberts also suffered with Hepatitis C. Similarly, to Mr. Fussell, he also had a
high level of liver enzymes, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He endured periodontal disease. The American Academy of Periodontology says that Periodontal
disease is an inflammatory disease that affects the soft and hard structures that support the teeth.
Because the correctional facility was short staffed, Mr. Love had to wait twenty seven months before
having his teeth cleaned and examined. Since he did not receive prompt treatment, Mr. Love had
several teeth that were estimated to fall out. When he finally had, his teen cleaned, there was so much
tartar build up, that he was scheduled for another appointment two months later. Love faced many
issues with his teeth, and occupied unfilled

The Ethics of Online Medical Records
Abstract: This paper describes the ethical implications of developing a national online medical
database. Such a database would contain the lifetime health records of every U.S. resident by
combining information from a variety of sources. The advantages of such a system are many, but in
the end, the question remains whether patients want to trade privacy for better healthcare.
A lonely ninety year old Chinese woman walks into a clinic. Without any medical records, the
physicians diagnose her with stroke, and she is immediately hospitalized. Two days later, her son
arrives at the hospital, apparently quite angry with the doctors. He informs the physicians that her
mother has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Today, the medical records of most Americans are scattered across multiple clinics and hospitals,
possibly across several states. The task of piecing together a patient s medical history can become
quite time consuming and laborious, as the files first need to be located and then faxed [5]. The
possibility of combining medical records into a central medical database would solve many of these
problems, as well as bring new benefits. With a shared medical database, doctors would have vital
information about a patient at their fingertips. Very little time would be lost in looking for a patient s
medical records and piecing the data together.
A shared medical database would save lives by providing accurate and complete information to
doctors, especially those not familiar with their patients. For instance, if a person had a serious
accident while vacationing in a different state, the doctors there would have instant access to his
medical records in his home state. Locating the patient s family doctor and faxing the patient s
medical history would be unnecessary. If the patient has allergies to certain drugs, the doctors would
be aware of it, thus avoiding further complications [6]. With more complete information, doctors
would be given the power to treat an unfamiliar, out of state patients in a timely and effective manner.
Sharing medical data would also enormously benefit organizations

Supporting Moral Subjectivism
To begin, the term moral subjectivism implies that beliefs are individualized and correct for the said
individual. In essence, there is no real definitive truth that can be applied to moral sentences or beliefs.
For example, two people can have beliefs about the number 13 (or number 4 in the Chinese culture)
One highly religious person can believe it s the devil s number and will lead to murder, chaos, and
violence and for another person, possibly of a different moral code or of time period, (such as the
ancient Egyptians), it can be their lucky or spiritual number. Our text provides four reasons for
supporting moral subjectivism. These reasons include: The fact that feelings are subjective, often
disagreed on, and no one feeling or belief

Death Of Innocence By Mamie Till- Mobley
Death of Innocence is a non fictional novel written by Mamie Till Mobley about the tragedy of her son
s brutal murder. Emmett Louis Till was born on July 25, 1941 to parents Louis Till, and Mamie Till
Mobley, Emmett was born breeched, and was going to endure multiple health complications in his
short fourteen years. Emmett wanted to visit family in Mississippi although Mama and Mamie were
very hesitant. They tried to educate Emmett the dangers of a black person in the South. Emmett was
born in Chicago, and was not aware of the type of racism blacks endured in the South. Unfortunately,
due to Emmett s heath complications when he started to stutter Emmett would whistle. A black male
whistling at a white woman during this time of age was prohibited. Mamie educated Emmett before he
left that he should not even walk on the same side of the street as a white woman. Emmett apparently
whistled at a white woman while in a store. This led to white racists kidnapping him in the middle of
the night and inhumanly murdered Emmett on August 28, 1955. Mamie chose to have an open casket
funeral for Emmett. Though it was hard for her to turn her privacy of grieving the loss of her son, she
chose to turn this into a public issue. She became an activist for the black community and educated
children and churches on lynches. Emmett s death led to America s civil rights movement. Growing
up in Chicago Mamie did not experience as much racism as she would have in the South. When she

Body Genre In Linda Williams s Film Bodies
A body genre is one that literally attempts to provoke affect, or a physical response as opposed to an
intellectual one, from the viewer. The repetitive formulas and spectacles of film genres are often
defined by their differences from the classical realist style of narrative cinema. In Linda Williams s,
Film Bodies: Gender, Genre, and Excess, she describes how cow these classical films have been
characterized as efficient action centered, goal oriented linear narratives driven by the desire or a
single protagonist, involving one or two lines of action, and leading to definitive closure (Williams, 3).
Williams talks about three gross genres that she and her son choose from when going to see a movie.
She says, we often select from

Medical Coding Criteria
MEDICAL CODING QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATION
Medical Coding is a career in which professionals use numeric and alphabetic codes to help submit
and process medical claims. The coder abstracts information from the patient records and combines
that information with coding guidelines to assign the right code for the information provided by
physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals. Insurance companies look at these codes to
understand the diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions for proper payment of these services.
Accordingly, the medical coding profession requires a worker to have a strong grasp of numbers and
be detailed oriented. (AC Search Media, Inc.) In medical coding, it is also vital to have solid reading

organizations are longstanding and are recognized in the medical community.

Preliminary Chemistry
Assessment Task 1
Jessica Kuang 11CH3
Question 1: (4 marks)
Construct a timeline to summarise the development of the Periodic Table and the major contributions
made by notable scientists (up to G Seaborg) Question 2: (8 marks)
(a) The elements lithium, sodium and potassium formed one of the original triads used to show that
elements could be grouped . What scientific evidence did scientists have to justify this grouping of
elements?
Johann Dobereiner, a German chemist, suggested the grouping of elements with similar properties into
clusters of three triads. He discovered that when arranged in ascending atomic mass, in the case of
lithium, sodium and potassium, sodium s atomic mass was approximately the arithmetic mean of
lithium and potassium. There was also a correlation between the atomic numbers, (Li 3, Sodium 11,
Potassium 19) which showed the mean of the lowest and highest atomic numbers equalled the atomic
number of the middle element.
(b) Identify two other triads which were identified during the early construction of the Periodic Table.
The other two triads are sulfur, selenium and tellurium and chlorine, bromine and iodine.
(c) In 1864, John Newlands observed that the properties of the known elements varied periodically
with their atomic masses. He saw a pattern which reminded him of the musical scale and published his
findings as the law of octaves

Character Analysis Of Shinji Ikari
That all being said, let s discuss each character in further detail to provide better insight as to why
their faults are necessary plot devices to tell a larger story (i.e. the central story).
Shinji The reserved, self loathing protagonist, Shinji Ikari, epitomizes the introvert personality by
concealing his true identity a la the hedgehog s dilemma (first introduced by philosopher Arthur
Schopenhauer). Just a brief reminder for anyone who hasn t watched the show for quite some time, as
this concept is fundamental in understanding our main character, the premise of this theory goes as
follows: forging intimate relationships, despite our best intentions, causes shared emotional pain;
therefore, provoking guarded behavior and overall weaker relationships due to the lack of intimacy.
This explains Shinji s maladroit encounters with female characters in the show, and his reluctancy to
solidify lasting relationships. He has become content to live in the imaginary shell that is his happy
place, believing that expressing his true self will cause unintended harm to others and himself. Hideaki
Anno, to his credit, overlaid his permeating depression into a fourteen year old character, that, for the
most part, comes through as feeling authentic. This is not your prototypical action hero who possesses
an indomitable will to overcome any, and all challenges; rather, Shinji, on countless occasions, shows
signs of regression, a trait that is synonymous with the human condition. He

Critically Asses, with Reference to William James, the...
In the book the varieties of religious experience , James concluded that religious experience testifies
that we can experience union with something larger than ourselves and in that union find our greatest
peace . He defined such experiences as experiences of the divine and believed that religious
experience was at the heart of religion. For James, religious teachings, practices and attitudes are
second hand religion, which later develop as individuals reflect on their common experience. It is the
actual experiences that directly point to God. However this theory does little to prove religious
experiences simply because many of his claims do not stand up to critical analysis.
James looked at a variety of religious experiences, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Secondly, James believed that the religious experiences from the different faiths were similar. They
were experiences of the same ultimate reality which is then interpreted into the second hand religious
structure of that person. A Christian might interpret an experience as the presence of the Holy Spirit,
whereas a Hindu might interpret it differently.
James also argued that despite the wide variety of religious experiences there is a common core to all
of them, they will normally include similar elements, like the sense of being in the presence of a
greater power or the recipient has relatively little control over the experience. Also includes an insight
into usually unseen dimensions of existence which are of intrinsic value and fundamental importance .
For some they may consist of a direct experience of the divine or may be a gradual realisation that
there is more to life than the world around us and it often leads to a greater understanding of God.
James claimed that this common core pointed to a single objective source of all religious experiences.
In response, many critics claim that it is difficult to even define or interpret what a genuine religious
experience is let alone decide if they have a common core. Many scholars claim a common core is
simply not true and the sheer variety of religious experiences suggest they have a human rather than a
divine origin. Critics further point out, that it is

George Johnson Oral Tradition Summary
Passed down from generation to generation, oral tradition predominates as one of the most significant
sources in discovering the history of the African diaspora. Plagued by illiteracy, the tangible text of the
past remain useless for both the freed man and slave, this heightens the use of spoken word to elicit
the events of themselves and their ancestors. Through the American Folklore Center, the stories that
George Johnson convey, take form. Interviewed in 1940, George Johnson, a former slave from
Brierfield, Virginia, recalls the tales of his own enslavement as well as the stories he passed down
from his father and grandfather. However, his strictly progressive rendition of his place in North
American slavery not only question the accuracy ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Upon answering with only eight words, George Johnson shifts the conversation towards the literacy of
his father. He describes his father taking the chalk from his grandfather s shop and writing on the
sidewalk in front of Jeff Davis home. Once Davis discovered the hidden talent of George s father, he
set out and got two teachers from Richmond, Virginia. George Johnson continues to explain how his
slave master proceeded to open a nice school for all the slaves and educate them, even making George
s father a civil engineer. George s father was not the only African American Jeff Davis educated.
Davis allowed all of his slaves from his five plantations to attend his school and get a formal
education; he produced bookkeepers, farmers, carpenters, and other experienced professions. Contrary
to historical evidence, George Johnson portrays his master as a considerate and benevolent man. This
contradiction rises questions on the accuracy of the oral traditions passed down to him, and the context
in which this event presents itself. First and foremost, George Johnson possesses a secondhand
experience of the situation, having learned it through his father. Certainly, the telling and retelling of
this story produces a

Glaciation In The Pacific Cordillera Of North America
Although it may not feel like it, we are currently in an ice age today. An ice age is just a period of time
when the Earth s climate faces a constant and drastic decrease in temperature. Periods of colder
temperature during an ice age have been called glaciations because they result in something being
covered by glaciers or ice sheets. Shorter term, irregular intervals of warmer temperatures have been
called interglacials , which is what we are currently living in today. However, some scientists believe
that the climate may dramatically decrease in the near future, and we could see glaciers return again
like we did in the last glacial period. This last glacial period is referred to as The Ice Age. It was the
most recent glacial period within our current ice age occurring in the ... Show more content on

The glaciations that occurred during this glacial period covered many areas, primarily in the Northern
Hemisphere where the ice sheets were approximately two and a half miles thick. There were twelve
different names assigned to the multiple locations where glaciation occurred at that time. Three terms
were coined for glaciation in North America. Glaciation in the Pacific Cordillera of North America
was known as, Fraser . The Central Rocky Mountain area s glaciation was called Pinedale , and
glaciation in central North America was known as Wisconsinian .
When the Ice Age began, the Rocky Mountain National Park area saw large ice sheets covering much
of the land. There had been proof of earlier glaciation in the Rocky Mountain area because a mass of
older rocks and sediments called moraines had been deposited by a glacier and found on the edges and
extremities of the mountains there. Unfortunately, a large majority of the evidence has been erased by
the more recent glaciation in the Ice Age.

Vietnam Scholarship Essay
Prior to the Sarah Bonnifield Vietnam Scholarship opportunity, I had never researched or been
educated on the unique importance of the Air Force in the Vietnam War. However, as I looked into it, I
became increasingly interested in and aware of the incredible significance the USAF played
throughout the duration of the war. The Air Force used novel strategies and adopted several new roles
in during Vietnam that had never been used in previous wars or conflicts. In addition to these tactics,
new technology and weapons emerged during this time period that changed the way that the Air Force
would be utilized in conflicts and wars from that point on. At the beginning of the war, the United
States involvement was limited to mostly supplying the South Vietnamese troops with training and
weaponry, etc. More specifically in the air, they also led reconnaissance missions against the VietCong

The general diagnostic criteria for major neurocognitive disorder is as follows, as reported by the
American Psychiatric Association (2013). There must be a a decrease in cognitive performance from
at least one cognitive domain, including complex attention, executive function, learning and memory,
language, perceptual motor, or social cognition. This must be supported by evidence of concern
regarding significant cognitive decline by the individual, their loved ones, or their clinician as well as
a quantified clinical assessment, such as a standardized neuropsychological test, reporting a significant
decline in cognition (American Psychiatric Association, 2013). These significant cognitive declines
must show a decline in independence through typical day to day activities such as needing help in
remembering to pay bills or keeping up with medications. Lastly, this cognitive decline are not
occurring as a result of delirium only and are not better evidenced as a mental disorder such as major
depressive disorder or schizophrenia. (American Psychiatric Association, 2013) The second specifier
for this disorder, with the first in this instance being major cognitive disorder due to Alzheimer s
disease, is in relation to whether or not there is a behavioral disturbance present. Examples of these
potential disturbances include psychotic symptoms, mood

Social Media And Social Networking Essay
If asked, would you be able to explain what the definition of social media is? Social media is the noun
used to define websites that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social
networking. Now you may wonder, what is the difference in social media and social networking?
Social networking is the practice of expanding the number of one s business and/or social contacts by
making connections through individuals, often through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter,
Google+ and Instagram. (cite) | Statistics show that most children get introduced to cyberbullying
when they fully understand how to use the internet. The majority of children have admitted to
harassing or being bullied on a social media website from the age nine to eighteen. The gender of the
child also makes a difference according to some poles taken. Girls are more likely to spread rumors
through the virtual world, whereas; boys are more expected to comment and post antagonizing
pictures and videos. (good and interesting information to have but the transition from different social
media sites to the bullying paragraph is rapid and just thrown in there) Crazy to think but the birth of
social media was in 1997. The first social media site that everyone can agree actually was social media
was a website called Six Degrees. It was named after the six degrees of separation theory and lasted
from 1997 to 2001. Six degrees allowed users to create a profile and then friend other

Algeria After Independence Essay
After independence (1962 1999)
The Evian Accords which were signed in 1962 giving Algeria immediate independence and French aid
to help reconstruct the country. The French Sahara with its oil resources was also handed over to
Algeria. In return the FLN guaranteed protection and civil rights for the French Algerians choosing to
remain in the country, and the option of choosing either French or Algerian nationality after three
years.
Eight years of war had shattered Algeria. There had been more than one million Algerian casualties
and nearly two million Algerians had lost their homes. For over a century the French had deprived the
Algerians of any but the most minimal opportunity to become involved in its infrastructure and
institutions. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The country s oil resources were developed and an industrial sector was established. Education and
literacy became a focus of concentration and agricultural land reform continued. In the process the
Boumedienne government developed a socialist political system which was codified in a constitution
in 1976. Under the new constitution Boumedienne was elected president of Algeria and ruled until his
death. However, for all Algeria s accomplishments during this period, imposing authoritarian one
party socialism on a traditional Islamic country was considered a mistake.
When Boumedienne s chosen successor, Colonel Chadli Benjedid, was elected president of Algeria he
began to relax the government s authoritarian practices and made a genuine attempt to solve some of
the country s problems. Benjedid also pardoned Ahmed Ben Bella in 1980 and released him from
house arrest. However, for all his liberal tendencies, Benjedid was a product of the FLN military elite
and was re elected in 1984 because he ran unopposed.
With the fall of oil prices and the resurgence of Islam, the government s credibility fell dramatically.
The manifest failure of world socialism and the government s failure to solve the country s increasing
social and economic problems, encouraged more and more Algerians to

Plant Species Observation Paper
To gather a comprehensive collection of the plant species found on the SCICON property.
Observations will be made of plant associations, slope and soil conditions. The results will aid us in
determining vegetation composition and create vegetation profiles of the area.
Tulare County, with the exception of the National Parks, has one of the least known floras in
California. Since much of the valley floor has been converted to agricultural purposes and the foothills
dedicated to ranching, there have been few botanical surveys performed. Evidence of gaps in

Distinctive patterns of plant distribution are evident at the SCICON facility. Riparian habitats
associated with Bear Creek show high diversity and are well represented by plants requiring high
moisture soils such as alders, sycamores, and willows. South and west facing slopes receive the
greatest amount of solar exposure and thus support only plant species well adapted to drought and heat
stress. Quercus douglassii (Blue Oak) appears to be the dominant species in this strongly xeric
environment. North and east facing slopes have a very diverse representation of trees that include
Umbellularia californica (California bay), Quercus wislizeni (live oak) and Aesculus hippocastanum

The General Strain Theory, And General Integrated Theory
This final theory is an extension of Hirschi s (1979) original idea of micro and macro dimensions
which are called cross level or multilevel integrations (Barak, 2002). The general strain theory is also
known as cross level or multilevel integrations including the reintegrative shaming theory, power
control theory, control balance theory and general integrated theory (Barak, 2002). These theories
combine theories like social bonding and social learning theories with structural theories such as
social disorganization and strain theories but does not address macro level factors that influence crime,
and instead focus solely on criminal behavior at the micro level. So far, very little theories suggested
have encompassed all levels of explaining criminology (Barak, 2002). This is a social structure macro

probability for criminality. Also, a negative reaction perpetuates further negative reactions which leads

Marxist Criticism In David Fincher s Fight Club
Fight Club is the kind of movie that you would expect to stay on screen. But it doesn t. Many parts of
fight club are actually part of Marxism, a system of thought developed by Karl Marx. Certain scenes
connect strongly with Marxism, albeit imperfectly. In Fight Club, directed by David Fincher, the
Marxist thought of excess being a sin is portrayed through Jack s two locations of residence, Jack s
initial defense of his possessions, and the scene of Jack and Tyler making soap from human fat. Jack
initially lives a very average life. His job and life is so average that anybody can relate to him. His

He stole human fat and used it to make soap and sell it to department stores for twenty dollars per bar.
The narrator sees irony in this profit: We were selling rich women their own fat asses back to them .
This clever scheme presents the fraudulent nature of a consumer society. Often, consumers are
convinced they are buying something different than the object; they unconsciously seek to purchase
their ideal selves Even though liposuction merely changes appearance, it is solely artificial. Soap
represents the artificiality of society and its ability to wash away humanity. Consumers become so
engrossed with the spectacle of commodities that they lose their humanity, trading it for possessions.
The soap made by the Paper Street Soap Company is made of the excess of the bourgeoisie. Marla
asks to store a bag of fat in his freezer because she wanted a collagen trust fund: The best kind of
collagen is your own fat, sucked out of your thighs, processed and cleaned and injected back into your
lips. This stuff in the fridge at home, it was Marla s collagen trust fund. The fat comes from her
mother, someone who can afford to do this. Only a member of the bourgeoisie would engage in such
an activity, because only a member of the bourgeoisie would afford to be able to do so. Tyler/the
narrator scavenge through medical waste dumps to find more bags of human fat which they can turn
into soap. The creation of the soap is made from the excess of the bourgeoisie. The bourgeoisie in this
aspect is reabsorbing their own excess and practicing excess at the same time, by paying twenty
dollars for soap. In turn, he sells the soap to Nordstrom s at twenty dollars per bar, an exorbitant price
for something so basic that only a member of the bourgeoisie could afford to pay. To make matters

Chinese Language
In this part of my paper I want to draw your attention to some surprising facts that pertain to the
Chinese language. The research shows that the Chinese language has a relatively uncomplicated
grammar. Contrary to French, German or English, Chinese has no verb conjugation (in other words
tense inflection). Also, this language has no noun declension, including gender and number
distinctions. While learning Chinese you do not have to memorize different verb forms of
tell/told/told. Under such circumstances, all you have to remember is just one word: kan. Also, while
learning English a person has to distinguish between hat and hats . In Chinese we have a totally
different situation. The only form that is present in this language is the word mao.
The basic word order of Chinese is subject is the verb object. The object exists just in the same form
as it exists in English. The research proves that there is quite a number of the key terms. These are

The Hockey Sweater Essay
The Quebec Vexation
The French speaking people of Quebec lived under heavy oppression in the 1950s and 60s. Many
francophone people looking for work in Quebec cities were refused because of their French
background. In areas such as Montreal, the francophone people were earning up to 50 percent less
than their English speaking peers. There was a clear distinction between the quality of life for the
English and the quality of life for the French. It was because of this distinction that the people of
Quebec often resented the English and their ways of life. And it is from this resentment, the story The
Hockey Sweater was written. The Hockey Sweater is a story told from the perspective of a young boy

The Quebecois found that their cultures were too different to be placed on equal footing with the other
provinces. This frustration with the other provinces eventually led to The Quiet Revolution and an
attempt to separate from the rest of Canada. Up until the end of the 1960s, the French people of
Quebec could be seen living as second rate citizens in Canada. It wasn t until 1969, that the Official
Languages Act was passed by Pierre Elliot Trudeau giving both the English and French languages
equal representation in Canadian parliament. Up until then, most documents written by the Canadian
government and its affiliates were solely in English and did not recognize French as an official
language. In The Hockey Sweater, the character of Mr. Eaton can be equated to the role of the
Canadian government. The order forms provided in the Eaton s catalogue were completely in English
even though they were being shipped to a small French town in Quebec. This could be seen as the
English speaking people of Canada imposing their language and culture upon Quebec in an almost
assimilation like manner. The lack of equality with regards to the French and English language pre
1969 led to many people of Quebec feeling subservient to the rest of Canada. The language issue
played a vital role in the story of The Hockey Sweater which led to great turmoil just as it did with

the Kopp Chronicles.
Suddenly, the door of the carriage flung open, as it pulled up to the doors of the Mannheim Palace on
an early and cold February morning in 1843.
Karolina, I am so glad you are here! A young woman with brown disheveled hair said frantically as
she burst into tears.
I thought you would never get here. I don t know what to do with my hair, and my mother needs help

In life, I have stated that I am willing to try almost anything. This is generally true, moreover, I love

A GSM Base Device
1 Problem Statement
A GSM base device creates severe interference with a wireless infrastructure. It can be used to activate
any explosive device in an indoor environment. Moreover, a GSM signal is also very likely to
interfere with wireless network, employed by emergency and/or confidential departments.
2 Aims Objectives
The motive of this paper is to propose a novel band stop Frequency Selective Surface (FSS). The
proposed FSS provides security to wireless networks used by sensitive areas. It also provides security
to explosive devices by blocking both GSM 900 and GSM 1800 frequency bands.
A ringing cell phone can be very irritating in places of adoration, classrooms, and hospitals.
Trans European Trunked Radio GSM (TETRA GSM) is a bidirectional communication technology
informally known to Walkie Talkie. This well known technology used by emergency amenities, armed
forces, law enforcement and other government agencies.
Moreover, a mobile phone signal can be used to explode an ammunition lorry, an incendiary bomb or
any other explosive device, in an indoor environment or other extremely sensitive areas. Many of
these areas usually use jammers and other variants of reflectors to reflect and/or block GSM signal.
However, these reflectors have limitation in sense that they disturb other type of wireless
communication too. Therefore, there is a need to design an innovative reflector which can block only
desired signals.

Rome...[and is one of] the most important ancient works associated with the myth of the Lupercal and
most of the modern works that portray the Capitoline she wolf or are in some way derived from it. As
such, the museum has also provided a very detailed description about the different parts of the Lupa
Romana and what their significance to Rome despite it s rather distant ties from the time period itself.
According to the Capitoline Museum, the Lupa Romana depicts the origins of the myth of the
miraculous suckling of Romulus and Remus. It analyses previous examples and iconographic models
and traces the development, during the period of Ancient Rome, of its artistic representation, which
kept its symbolic value right up to the end of the ancient period.
However, as previously mentioned, the small statues of Romulus and Remus have been speculated to
not have been added till the renaissance era and are indeed not part of the original Lupa Romana.
However, the piece as a whole, as mentioned, is influential in the mythical origin of Rome itself. Not
only that, but it kept the values and ideals of Rome up till the end of Republic period.
Capitoline Museum also associates the Lupa Romana with in post ancient history and its symbolic

also answer questions like why would a manufacturer want to sell directly to consumer and the
potential causes if they were allowed to sell directly to consumers. I also state why this topic is
important to me. Should Car Manufactures like tesla be able to sell directly to consumers? Today if
you wanted to purchase a new vehicle first you research the type of vehicle you are looking for
whether it was a sports car, minivan, or truck. Then you would go to your local dealership and look at
the vehicle you found and maybe look at all the different trims models, you might even take the car
out on a test drive. Finally, you find that the vehicle you have been looking at is what you are looking
for and decide to purchase it. From there you would talk to a sales person at about price, monthly
pavement interest rates and many other things. All of this is possible because of a dealership. But
should car Manufactures be able skip the middle man the dealership to sell directly to consumers.
Currently in the automotive retail world this is a trending topic. Elon musk owner of the all electric car
company tesla is trying to change the way people buy cars

Clarissa And The CooliesWives Summary
The article by Valerie Reed Hickman is, Clarissa and the Coolies Wives: Mrs. Dalloway Figuring
Transnational Feminism . Is in communication with the novel, Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. The
argument Hickman claims in response to Mrs. Dalloway is [the] absence of [an] encounter between
the upper class English heroine of Mrs. Dalloway and the poor Indian women barely acknowledge[d]
in the text (Hickman 53). Hickman s idea to govern is Woolf fails to represent transnational women in
her novel. Hickman specifies the Coolies Wives lack of character narrative and a name shows
throughout the novel. The first point Hickman brings up is the reasoning behind placing the Coolies
within the margins. They are not included with support because ... Show more content on

Clarissa s party seems to do what she set out to do which was to break down the walls of Imperialism.
Meanwhile, Hickman addresses the loss of two characters of Smith and an old lady. Then Clarissa
imagines what Smith and the old lady went through. Never worries about the Indian women. Hickman
then discusses Peter and the caricature of Imperialism he simply is for the book. Peter only misses
being in India because they follow the traditions of Imperialism. Hickman explains that no other
mention of Indians is offered by Woolf. Hickman uses a two other author s interpretation of the total
disregard Woolf has for transnational feminists. Even going far as using Jane Marcus to mock A Room
of One s Own failure to adequately give voice to the black woman (Hickman 60). Including some
material from Coolies by Mulk Raj Anand. Hickman changes tactics with the explanation that it is
possible for transnational feminists rights can be heard in fiction. Then contradicting herself, she states
that there is no real representation of transnational women in a text. Gayatri Spivak s point on that
subaltern women are always spoken for by others whether or not they are part of the British Empire.
Subaltern women can become transnational feminist but they require to gain a voice before the healing
can begin. Hickman includes the use of an example where an Imperialist wants to give voice to
subaltern woman. The subaltern

Rise Of The Armenian Genocide
In 1915, officials of the Turkish government commenced an ambition to eradicate the Armenian
people residing in the Ottoman Empire. Ultimately, the genocide slaughtered approximately 1.5
million of the 2 million Armenians in the Ottoman Empire at the time and displaced hundreds of
thousands more upon its end. To date, the atrocities staining the Turkish deserts have still not been
recognized at the international level.
The plight of the Armenians originated centuries ago in the mountains of the Caucasus. At the peak of
the 4th century, the kingdom of Armenia declared Christianity its official religion, but was annexed by
the Muslim Ottoman Empire in the 15th century. The rulers granted religious minorities to perpetuate
some liberty and self government,

CBA Situation Analysis
To prevent further disruptions of league and staff operations, the recommendation for bi annual
meetings between the NFL and the player s union should be considered. This would provide both sides
a reasonable outlook period in which to improve the conditions of business. This time could be used
by the parties to undergo voluntary mediation for the union s members to come to a mutual agreement
into what the players want and feel they need. The main purpose of this suggestion would be to
alleviate the threat of strikes and lockouts due to expired CBA contracts.
The next thing that could have been done differently is allowing for amendments to be placed into
order in circumstances such as the replacement players in 1987 or the 132 day lockout

Golden Age Of Piracy Research Paper
Pirate Essay
Pirates to most people resemble an iconic stereotype. This is that hollywood image that depicts pirates
wearing eyepatches, walking with wooden legs, and out in the sea searching for treasure. Although
some of these aspects resemble a Pirate the history of Pirates and Piracy in the sea is quite interesting.
Piracy in the sea dates back long ago around the 2nd century BC. According to the website Famous
Pirates the authors state that Piracy came into existence shortly after the creation of first organized
naval trading. This would make sense since these merchant ships would carry valuable goods around
unprotected. Meaning that eventually somebody would figure out that it s possible to raid these ships
and loot all of the the valuables. Piracy carried on for several centuries, seeing activity in the
Mediterranean, and even in Southeast Asia. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is the period that most of us are familiar with because it starred piracy in the Caribbean. In the
video The Golden Age of Piracy by Its History the host explains that after the Spanish conquered the
Carribeans they had all this access to the valuable resources on the islands for themselves. Other world
powers such as the English, the French, and the Dutch also wanted apart of this treasure. The English,
French, and Dutch decided to hire Privateers to attack the Spanish Merchant Ships ultimately trying to
deprive Spain of their resources. For example, in the article Piracy in the Caribbean the authors stated
that Pirates were also given legal status . . . privateers were used in the Caribbean by rival nations to
attack treasure ships heading back to their home country. Basically saying, Piracy actually became
legal for a period of time and was encouraged by world powers at the time. These privateers were
essentially mercenaries on sea hired to raid Spanish merchant

Is Teacher Tenure Worth Keeping
According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ranking, the United States
of America is considered mediocre in its educational performance. In a competitive world where
average is just not adequate for the well being of a nation, experts have theorized that to improve the
country s education our schools need to revaluate different factors of the education system. Some have
even speculated these factors are the teacher s tenure. In fact, some claim tenure is the reason why the
United States education system quality is on its downward slope. In order for one to determine if the
country s education is suffering from tenure, one need to have a full understanding of its function and
how teachers use tenure. One would also need to know the benefits of this contract by understanding
how tenure relates to discrimination, academic freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of
association, and freedom of religion. However, one would also need to have knowledge of the cons of
teacher s tenure by analyzing how the dance of the lemon s policy and the reassignment centers do not
allow teachers to improve and how much tenure can cost the school districts. In order to distinguish if
the United States should allow a teacher to become subjects to tenure, one need to recognize the
purpose and how that purpose is applied to teachers with tenure. The intention of tenure is to provide
job security for teachers (Public Impact, 2011, p.3). For a teacher to earn the

IASB Conceptual Framework
To,
Hans Hoogervorst
IASB Chairman
London, UK
Date: Nov 11, 2017
Dear Sir,
I am writing this report in order to outline one change that I believe needs to be made to the
Conceptual Framework. I have attached the report that details the change and the rationale for the
change for your kind consideration.
Thanking You,
Sincerely,
Your Name,
Student,
Name of University

Introduction
The IASB conceptual framework is a framework of theories prepared by a standard setting body
aimed t dealing with practical problems faced by users of financial statements; the characteristics of
accounting information; the elements of financial statements and concepts for measuring and reporting
the elements such as assets and liabilities (Financial Times 2017). The benefit is that uniform
accounting standards can be applied to deal with common accounting problems; have fewer standards
to reduce the volume of standards; help accountants and auditors to resolve accounting issues.
However one of the issues is the going concern assumption, which does not appear to take into
account more serious risks that an enterprise may be associated with such as sustainability risks.
The problem/Change
One of the problems with the conceptual framework is that it does not address the principle of
sustainability within its going concern assumption even in the recent Summary of Tentative Decisions
related to the framework (IFRS 2017). Therefore it is proposed that the conceptual framework

Cultural Awareness And A Global Mindset Cultural Awareness and a Global Mindset Management in Practice is a very special module for me because it provides me a chance to study with international friends and study in a diverse environment. After studying for two semesters, I have gradually established cultural awareness and a global mindset which are extremely important when I graduate and start working. In today s modern society we have to work with people from diverse background such as personality, nationality and culture thus it is essential to understand these differences and Belbin test is very helpful in this situation. Knowing your Belbin s team roles and others make it a lot easier to get along with each members and lead to a better performance Belbin (1981) and this is why our group in MIP class developed significantly. Besides Belbin test, I also learned about psychometric test from MIP class. A psychometric test is a method to assess aptitudes, personality, or ability which consisting of verbal, numerical and diagrammatic reasoning tests (practiceaptitudetests). It is very crucial when applying for jobs. Apart from making me know myself, this module allowed me to be a leader as a coordinator of a group. According to Bennis (1989), ...leaders do not seek to lead. Instead, they seek to express themselves fully. They embrace risks and mistakes, learning from adversity. • 6. The Concept Of Government Is The Self-Actualized Society In our days, people all around the world more or less suffer from hunger, diseases, poverty, inequality, crime, wars and etc., and government of different countries are not there to change things, but instead to keep things as they are. There is a solution in understanding the nature of this suffering and finding the alternative government system, which will solve the puzzle. Such system was introduced by Jacque Fresco under the Venus Project. I am arguing that the best form of government is the self actualized society . It is the scientific and technologically organized society where the role for government would be surpassed by engineered systems. The self actualized society will replace money based economies with a resource based world economy. There would be interdisciplinary teams of knowledgeable people in different fields accompanied by cybernated systems to monitor all aspects of society to provide real time information supporting decision making for the wellbeing of all people and the protection of the environment. There are two reasons: people will have healthier, safer, and flourishing environment, and the society will have more advanced and rapidly developing science. Many current politicians say that the environment is not important and so, there is no need in self actualized society. The planet has been here long before us and it will be after, it changes with time and with human impact, but it will heal itself without our help. Also, many people say that ... • 7. Ohio Prison Health Care Case Study Ohio Prison Health Care Suit The Ohio Justice and Policy center documented a claim in 2003 for three prisoner s Rodney Fussell, Gary Roberts, and James Love. The prisoners stated that they obtained incompetent medical care. Although some may argue, they are prisoners and do not deserve medical care, they still have the legal right to obtain it. These three men suffered from Hepatitis C, and periodontal disease. An Overview Rodney Fussell was an inmate at Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, who suffered with Hepatitis C. According to Hep C Hope, Hepatitis C is a contagious liver disease that can lead to serious problems including cirrhosis and liver cancer. To be treated, it is necessary to be prescribed medication, before the disease is too progressed. Rodney Fussell was told that he contained a high level of liver enzymes for a long period, but had not received diagnosis until five years later. When Fussell realized that he tested positive for Hep C, he asked to be transported to a clinic to receive a consultation, which the prison denied. • 8. Essay on Internet The Ethics of Online Medical Records Abstract: This paper describes the ethical implications of developing a national online medical database. Such a database would contain the lifetime health records of every U.S. resident by combining information from a variety of sources. The advantages of such a system are many, but in the end, the question remains whether patients want to trade privacy for better healthcare. Two days later, her son arrives at the hospital, apparently quite angry with the doctors. He informs the physicians that her mother has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Today, the medical records of most Americans are scattered across multiple clinics and hospitals, possibly across several states. The task of piecing together a patient s medical history can become quite time consuming and laborious, as the files first need to be located and then faxed [5]. The possibility of combining medical records into a central medical database would solve many of these problems, as well as bring new benefits. With a shared medical database, doctors would have vital information about a patient at their fingertips. Very little time would be lost in looking for a patient s medical records and piecing the data together. A shared medical database would save lives by providing accurate and complete information to doctors, especially those not familiar with their patients. For instance, if a person had a serious accident while vacationing in a different state, the doctors there would have instant access to his medical records in his home state. Locating the patient s family doctor and faxing the patient s medical history would be unnecessary. If the patient has allergies to certain drugs, the doctors would be aware of it, thus avoiding further complications [6]. With more complete information, doctors would be given the power to treat an unfamiliar, out of state patients in a timely and effective manner. Sharing medical data would also enormously benefit organizations ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In essence, there is no real definitive truth that can be applied to moral sentences or beliefs. For example, two people can have beliefs about the number 13 (or number 4 in the Chinese culture) One highly religious person can believe it s the devil s number and will lead to murder, chaos, and violence and for another person, possibly of a different moral code or of time period, (such as the ancient Egyptians), it can be their lucky or spiritual number. Our text provides four reasons for supporting moral subjectivism. These reasons include: The fact that feelings are subjective, often disagreed on, and no one feeling or belief ... Preliminary Chemistry Assessment Task 1 Jessica Kuang 11CH3 Question 1: (4 marks) Construct a timeline to summarise the development of the Periodic Table and the major contributions made by notable scientists (up to G Seaborg) Question 2: (8 marks) (a) The elements lithium, sodium and potassium formed one of the original triads used to show that elements could be grouped . What scientific evidence did scientists have to justify this grouping of elements? Johann Dobereiner, a German chemist, suggested the grouping of elements with similar properties into clusters of three triads. He discovered that when arranged in ascending atomic mass, in the case of lithium, sodium and potassium, sodium s atomic mass was approximately the arithmetic mean of lithium and potassium. There was also a correlation between the atomic numbers, (Li 3, Sodium 11, Potassium 19) which showed the mean of the lowest and highest atomic numbers equalled the atomic number of the middle element. (b) Identify two other triads which were identified during the early construction of the Periodic Table. The other two triads are sulfur, selenium and tellurium and chlorine, bromine and iodine. Shinji The reserved, self loathing protagonist, Shinji Ikari, epitomizes the introvert personality by concealing his true identity a la the hedgehog s dilemma (first introduced by philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer). Just a brief reminder for anyone who hasn t watched the show for quite some time, as this concept is fundamental in understanding our main character, the premise of this theory goes as follows: forging intimate relationships, despite our best intentions, causes shared emotional pain; therefore, provoking guarded behavior and overall weaker relationships due to the lack of intimacy. This explains Shinji s maladroit encounters with female characters in the show, and his reluctancy to solidify lasting relationships. He has become content to live in the imaginary shell that is his happy place, believing that expressing his true self will cause unintended harm to others and himself. Hideaki Anno, to his credit, overlaid his permeating depression into a fourteen year old character, that, for the most part, comes through as feeling authentic. This is not your prototypical action hero who possesses an indomitable will to overcome any, and all challenges; rather, Shinji, on countless occasions, shows signs of regression, a trait that is synonymous with the human condition. In the book the varieties of religious experience , James concluded that religious experience testifies that we can experience union with something larger than ourselves and in that union find our greatest peace . He defined such experiences as experiences of the divine and believed that religious experience was at the heart of religion. For James, religious teachings, practices and attitudes are second hand religion, which later develop as individuals reflect on their common experience. They were experiences of the same ultimate reality which is then interpreted into the second hand religious structure of that person. A Christian might interpret an experience as the presence of the Holy Spirit, whereas a Hindu might interpret it differently. James also argued that despite the wide variety of religious experiences there is a common core to all of them, they will normally include similar elements, like the sense of being in the presence of a greater power or the recipient has relatively little control over the experience. Also includes an insight into usually unseen dimensions of existence which are of intrinsic value and fundamental importance . For some they may consist of a direct experience of the divine or may be a gradual realisation that there is more to life than the world around us and it often leads to a greater understanding of God. James claimed that this common core pointed to a single objective source of all religious experiences. In response, many critics claim that it is difficult to even define or interpret what a genuine religious experience is let alone decide if they have a common core. Many scholars claim a common core is simply not true and the sheer variety of religious experiences suggest they have a human rather than a divine origin. Critics further point out, that it is ... Plagued by illiteracy, the tangible text of the past remain useless for both the freed man and slave, this heightens the use of spoken word to elicit the events of themselves and their ancestors. Through the American Folklore Center, the stories that George Johnson convey, take form. Interviewed in 1940, George Johnson, a former slave from Brierfield, Virginia, recalls the tales of his own enslavement as well as the stories he passed down from his father and grandfather. He describes his father taking the chalk from his grandfather s shop and writing on the sidewalk in front of Jeff Davis home. George Johnson continues to explain how his slave master proceeded to open a nice school for all the slaves and educate them, even making George s father a civil engineer. George s father was not the only African American Jeff Davis educated. Davis allowed all of his slaves from his five plantations to attend his school and get a formal education; he produced bookkeepers, farmers, carpenters, and other experienced professions. Contrary to historical evidence, George Johnson portrays his master as a considerate and benevolent man. Shorter term, irregular intervals of warmer temperatures have been called interglacials , which is what we are currently living in today. The Air Force used novel strategies and adopted several new roles in during Vietnam that had never been used in previous wars or conflicts. In addition to these tactics, new technology and weapons emerged during this time period that changed the way that the Air Force would be utilized in conflicts and wars from that point on. Social media is the noun used to define websites that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. Now you may wonder, what is the difference in social media and social networking? Social networking is the practice of expanding the number of one s business and/or social contacts by making connections through individuals, often through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Instagram. The majority of children have admitted to harassing or being bullied on a social media website from the age nine to eighteen. The gender of the child also makes a difference according to some poles taken. Girls are more likely to spread rumors through the virtual world, whereas; boys are more expected to comment and post antagonizing pictures and videos. Under the new constitution Boumedienne was elected president of Algeria and ruled until his death. However, for all Algeria s accomplishments during this period, imposing authoritarian one party socialism on a traditional Islamic country was considered a mistake. When Boumedienne s chosen successor, Colonel Chadli Benjedid, was elected president of Algeria he began to relax the government s authoritarian practices and made a genuine attempt to solve some of the country s problems. Benjedid also pardoned Ahmed Ben Bella in 1980 and released him from house arrest. Then you would go to your local dealership and look at the vehicle you found and maybe look at all the different trims models, you might even take the car out on a test drive. Finally, you find that the vehicle you have been looking at is what you are looking for and decide to purchase it. From there you would talk to a sales person at about price, monthly pavement interest rates and many other things. All of this is possible because of a dealership. But should car Manufactures be able skip the middle man the dealership to sell directly to consumers. Currently in the automotive retail world this is a trending topic. Hickman s idea to govern is Woolf fails to represent transnational women in her novel. Hickman specifies the Coolies Wives lack of character narrative and a name shows throughout the novel. Clarissa s party seems to do what she set out to do which was to break down the walls of Imperialism. Meanwhile, Hickman addresses the loss of two characters of Smith and an old lady. Then Clarissa imagines what Smith and the old lady went through. Never worries about the Indian women. Hickman then discusses Peter and the caricature of Imperialism he simply is for the book. Peter only misses being in India because they follow the traditions of Imperialism. Hickman explains that no other mention of Indians is offered by Woolf. Hickman uses a two other author s interpretation of the total disregard Woolf has for transnational feminists. Even going far as using Jane Marcus to mock A Room of One s Own failure to adequately give voice to the black woman (Hickman 60). Including some material from Coolies by Mulk Raj Anand. Hickman changes tactics with the explanation that it is possible for transnational feminists rights can be heard in fiction. Then contradicting herself, she states that there is no real representation of transnational women in a text. Gayatri Spivak s point on that subaltern women are always spoken for by others whether or not they are part of the British Empire. Subaltern women can become transnational feminist but they require to gain a voice before the healing can begin. This would provide both sides a reasonable outlook period in which to improve the conditions of business. This time could be used by the parties to undergo voluntary mediation for the union s members to come to a mutual agreement into what the players want and feel they need. The main purpose of this suggestion would be to alleviate the threat of strikes and lockouts due to expired CBA contracts. The next thing that could have been done differently is allowing for amendments to be placed into order in circumstances such as the replacement players in 1987 or the 132 day lockout ... • 49. Is Teacher Tenure Worth Keeping According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ranking, the United States of America is considered mediocre in its educational performance. In a competitive world where average is just not adequate for the well being of a nation, experts have theorized that to improve the country s education our schools need to revaluate different factors of the education system. Some have even speculated these factors are the teacher s tenure. In fact, some claim tenure is the reason why the United States education system quality is on its downward slope. In order for one to determine if the country s education is suffering from tenure, one need to have a full understanding of its function and how teachers use tenure. One would also need to know the benefits of this contract by understanding how tenure relates to discrimination, academic freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of association, and freedom of religion. However, one would also need to have knowledge of the cons of teacher s tenure by analyzing how the dance of the lemon s policy and the reassignment centers do not allow teachers to improve and how much tenure can cost the school districts. In order to distinguish if the United States should allow a teacher to become subjects to tenure, one need to recognize the purpose and how that purpose is applied to teachers with tenure. The intention of tenure is to provide job security for teachers (Public Impact, 2011, p.3). For a teacher to earn the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

IASB Conceptual Framework To, Hans Hoogervorst IASB Chairman London, UK Date: Nov 11, 2017 Dear Sir, I am writing this report in order to outline one change that I believe needs to be made to the Conceptual Framework. I have attached the report that details the change and the rationale for the change for your kind consideration. Thanking You, Sincerely, Your Name, Student, Name of University Course Name Introduction The IASB conceptual framework is a framework of theories prepared by a standard setting body aimed t dealing with practical problems faced by users of financial statements; the characteristics of accounting information; the elements of financial statements and concepts for measuring and reporting the elements such as assets and liabilities (Financial Times 2017). The benefit is that uniform accounting standards can be applied to deal with common accounting problems; have fewer standards to reduce the volume of standards; help accountants and auditors to resolve accounting issues. However one of the issues is the going concern assumption, which does not appear to take into account more serious risks that an enterprise may be associated with such as sustainability risks. The problem/Change One of the problems with the conceptual framework is that it does not address the principle of sustainability within its going concern assumption even in the recent Summary of Tentative Decisions related to the framework (IFRS 2017). Therefore it is proposed that the conceptual framework ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
