Phone Records Between 1970 And 1970
Telephone is a telecommunications device used to communicate between two or more people in any
distance. Primarily telephones were used only for communication purposes but today telephones are
as powerful and useful as computers are. With the evolution of phones, many things have changed
which includes phone records. In past, phone records involved only phone numbers but today there is
so many data and information on phones. These records include phone numbers, bank information,
personal pictures and videos, location and text messages. These records are often used by law
enforcers to investigate crimes by gathering information from phone records. Since 1970 many things
has changed. This paper examines the technological differences between phone records in the 1970
and smartphones, privacy and how courts affect the technology. In past law enforcers could pull phone
information without probable cause which means telecommunications industry used to be more
cooperative with law enforcement. But now there have been many changes. Knutson, Gryta, Barrett
(2014) write on the article that AT T Inc. said federal investigators might need a warrant to gather data
about cellphone user s location, challenging the more permissive legal framework the government has
used for year. This means law enforcers will need probable cause to get warrant from a judge before
pulling phone records from carriers like AT T. Although phone records helps to locate suspects and
gather evidences, pulling

Honey Bees And Its Effects On Bees
Bees are a vital source to most of the daily products that we use today. From the food we eat, to the
trees outside. Without them, there will be no greenery or some of our favorite foods. That is why it is
necessary to protect their well being. Therefore multiple solutions have been recommended to
preserve their existence, in healthy and efficient environments.
Recently, studies are showing a dramatic decrease of the bee population. As a result, there have been
fewer instances of the great pollination process performed by the bees, therefore affecting the food and
produce whose growth process are dependant on the bees. Honey bees originally came from Europe,
but the problem of the decreasing population became known after Pollination Week declared by the
senate and governors on June 22nd. The reasoning behind the lack of bees on agriculture farms, is due
to the harmful pesticide spray. Denied access to neonics, farmers will inevitably revert to spraying
their fields either from the ground or by plane with older and more dangerous insecticides (Rodgers
Media 6). Furthermore, because there are fewer pollinators, the food they help flourish have become a
worry to researchers. The world would be a desolate place without our pollinating friends, devoid of
flowers, flowering plants and many of our favorite foods (Hannon Gerald 9). Implies the importance
of the bees handiwork in the production of the produce that we eat. Although it is costly in order to

The Success Of The Unification Of Italy
To unify a state, many components such as strategy, population willingness and cooperation are
needed. All of those were crucial for the unification of Italy, but moreover it was the two men that
have contributed the most; Count Camillo di Cavour and Giuseppe Garibaldi. They were completely
different. Cavour was the leading strategic power behind the unification and Garibaldi was the
national hero inspiring the masses. It cannot be denied that the success of the unification of Italy
depended on both of them. Although Cavour was the leading figure in the Italian Unification, its
completion would not have happened without Garibaldi s assertive actions.
Before the Italian Unification, Italy has not been politically unified since the Roman Empire. Italy
consisted of many autonomous city states and there was also a great influence of foreign dynasties.
Most of the North part of Italy belonged to Austria Hungary, the South part to the Bourbon dynasty
and the states of church, which were located in between to the Pope as the supranational sovereign.
The Pope himself also created another barrier against the unification together with France, Spain and
Austria Hungary. During every invasion, at least one ruler always stood on the side of invaders for his
own profit. Both the city states and the dynasties were resistant towards patriotic movements, which
were not of their own and fought neighboring states, representing a threat. After the rule of Napoleon
Bonaparte, forty years of

Freedom Writers Film Analysis
The film The Freedom Writers was released in 2007 and was directed by Richard LaGravanese.
Richard used multiple film techniques to help the viewers understand how the characters are feeling,
their relationships with other characters and what their personality is like. These techniques include
camera shots, costume, and lighting, and they were helpful to create a theme of perseverance. In one
scene, room 203 is spending a lot of time to raise money so Miep Gies, an elderly lady who lived
through World War II and helped hide Anne Frank, can come visit them. After a dance concert and a
bake sale, both of which were very popular, they had raised enough for Gies to travel to America.
During their struggle to fundraise, Margaret the head teacher would continuously complain to the
principle that they shouldn t be able to do so, to no avail. When Miep arrives, students have created a
big, bright sign, welcoming her to their school, and they all listen with rapt attention as she tells them
her experience in the war. A tracking shot was used as Margaret marched to the principal s office three
times and the camera followed her as she moved. A tracking shot attracts the audience s attention to
what the camera is focusing on, which in this case is Margaret. A long shot being incorporated into the
tracking shot tells the audience that the setting is important as well, and the long shot helps the viewer
understand the emotion of the characters as we

English Reformation Dbq Essay
Among the many religious changes that occurred throughout Europe in the sixteenth century, few
were as widely influential as the Reformation. There were three streams of the Reformation: the
common class, the educated middle class, and the monarchs and princes. All three streams wanted the
church to be fixed and hoped it could combine old ideas and new ones. The Reformation was
influenced by many different people, yet the most important was John Wyclif, who stated that the
church did not need possession in order to be powerful. Different ideologies came from the influences
of Wyclif, and many others. Lutheranism began in the mid 1500 s by Martin Luther, and he developed
a doctrine of Justification by Faith where he wrote of how people stay in the church and get to heaven

Along with Lutheranism, another ideology called Calvinism began during the Reformation.
Calvinism, run by John Calvin, focused on predestination the idea where God had already picked his
people s destinies when they were young and nothing they did would affect these destinies. A third
ideology also came into play during the Reformation called Zwinglism. Run by Zwingli, a German, he
began a reform of the Swiss city Zurich, and created the Priesthood of True Believers. Following the
new ideologies, the English Reformation began during this time period. The most important change
during the English reformation began when Queen Elizabeth took the throne back from Mary and
turned the church into a Protestant church. During the Protestant Reformation, Anabaptist sects
became present in Europe, and they all believed in the Inner light a concept of spiritual revelation.
Through all of these different factors, the Protestant Reformation marked a change in the way people
thought of the church, and changed the Roman

Streaming Media and Netflix
Netflix is an American company that provides video rental and on demand video streaming by way of
either the mail or streaming through the internet. The company was founded in 1997 in Silicon Valley
California by Marc Randolph and Reed Hastings. The idea for this DVD rental service came about
when Reed Hastings was charged with a late fee when renting a movie and he questioned why he
should have a time restriction on how long he is able to rent the movie. In April of 1998, the Netflix
website was launched and they developed the concept of unlimited rentals with no shipping fees or
late fees. In September of 2002, an article in The New York Times article stated that Netflix had
around almost 670,000 subscribers. At the end of 2002, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

decided to go back on what they said and decided they were going to keep all their services under the
one same name that everyone was already familiar with after all. Steve Swasey, a representative for
the company was quoted saying, We underestimated the appeal of the single Web site and a single
service. This ended the creation of the idea of Qwikster but because of the confusing almost name
change that was soon reversed and the raised prices they lost close to 800,000 fewer subscribers. This
number of lost customers came to a shock to almost everyone. This was the first significant decline

the public s interest and opinions causing a significant have an impact on their profits. Netflix is just
one example of the impact of technology on American family life. Subscribers to Netflix can now

looking outside the home for entertainment to becoming more insular in their hobbies. A recent article
in the New York times cited how the former digital divide is closing and more poor American families

Public shaming is a form of bullying. It humiliates a person who makes a heinous comment or actions
towards a certain group of people. Citizens use public shaming to get revenge from the people who
offend them since the government/law enforces does not come into effect. Furthermore, public
shaming continues to spread around the world and does not end until the people who are offended feel

Butterfly Effect On Monarchs
Monarchs have been in danger for the longest time because of all the global warming we cause. One
of the many effects of global warming is climate change. The change in the climate can affect the
Monarch Butterflies migration and the life cycle,so we have to limit the amount of littering and
pollution.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Monarch Butterfly is the most known butterfly because of its colored wings that warns its
predators that it is poisonous. It is found throughout all of North America. The Monarch Butterfly can
t fly with a body temperature less than 86 degrees ,so they flap their wings and sit in the sun in order
to keep warm. The milkweed is the Monarch s main food source. The milkweed has many positive
effects on the Monarch Butterfly. For example, the butterfly lays the eggs on the plants ,and the
milkweed gives the poisonous taste to the predators when the caterpillar eats it. The Monarch lay their
eggs on the milkweed plant. They usually lay one egg on the plant which is the size of a pencil tip.
The yellow or white eggs start to hatch after four days. The female butterflies lay 300 500 eggs
through two to five weeks of the process of laying eggs. The next step in the life cycle is the larvae.
This is the stage where the monarchs do all of the growing. The caterpillar has many parts that help it
survive. Once the caterpillar gets older it starts to shed off its skin. The first part to shed off is the
head. The skin starts growing back into the caterpillar

The Effect Of Reflex On Children s Health
Introduction:
Reflex can defined as an automatic and often inborn response to a stimulus that involves a nerve
impulse passing inward from a receptor to a nerve center and thence outward to an effector (as a
muscle or gland) without reaching the level of consciousness (Merriam Webster) or more simply put
an reaction to an action that our bodies do to return to homeostasis without us having to think about it.
Reflexes play an extremely important role in remaining healthy and protecting us from being harmed
without having to take the time to think about it. For example, infants have a suck reflex that causes
them to start sucking when the roof of their mouths are stimulated; this reflex is obviously important
because if infants did not have this reflex, they could die of starvation since they would not be able to
draw milk from their mother s breast (this is actually a problem with premature infants as the suck
reflex does not develop until between the 32nd and 36th week of pregnancy) (Stanford Children s
Health). There are two main types of reflexes the simpler monosynaptic reflexes (or spinal reflexes)
that can act without any input from the brain and the more complex superficial reflexes which still
requiring some processing from the brain. A reflex consists of five main components, which as a
group are called the reflex arc. Component one is the sensory receptor, which receives stimulus and
then sends an and impulse to the second component, the afferent pathway. The

Reintroduction of Wolves at Yellowstone Park Introduction While highly controversial, the
reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone Park has provided many beneficial ecological changes to the
entire parks ecosystem. After a nearly 70 year absence, in January of 1995, 14 wolves from separate
packs were captured in the Canadian Rockies and transported to Yellowstone National Park in the
states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho (Sanders par. 2). The Canis Lupus or more commonly known

typically consuming 21 to 32 pounds of meat in a single feeding. In March of 1995, three of the packs
were released in Yellowstone, but with one issue; the wolves refused to exit through the gate because
they had associated it with humans, forcing the park rangers to cut a hole in the side of the enclosure
for them to escape (Sanders par. 11). Once the wolves were released two of the packs left the park and
set up their territory leaving only one group initially setting up inside the park. On May 3, 1995
female wolf number nine gave birth to eight puppies, the first wolves to be born in the park in nearly
70 years. The mother and pups were recaptured and taken back to the acclimation pen, until the pups
were weaned (Sanders par. 15). The reason for this recapture was because at this time, this wolf and
her eight pups counted for almost 50% of the park s wolf population. Since this time there have been
no other human interventions preferring to let nature take its course on the population. In 1996 1997 a
second group of wolves was captured and brought to Yellowstone for introduction via soft release with
two more acclimation pens being built, bringing the total to four. In the winter of 1997 1998 the
reintroduction of wolves was stopped due to the high success of the wolf packs breeding and the pups
surviving on their own. The breeding

Science Fiction Disaster Thriller Film, Directed By...
Armageddon is a 1998 American science fiction disaster thriller film, directed by Michael Bay,
produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film follows a group of professional deep core drillers who are
sent by NASA to eliminate an enormous asteroid before it collides with earth and threatens human
existence. Early in the film, it presented a series of events, beginning with a massive meteor shower
that ultimately destroys the orbiting space shuttle Atlantis. Later NASA reveals the sad news that
planet earth will make contact with this asteroid in eighteen days to the point it will cause an
extinction event and even destroy the smallest particles including bacteria. This calls for extremes
measures to prevent such collision and save the human race. Armageddon (1998) is a great example of
how films can help viewers understand the world of work and of organization function. Armageddon
(1998) covered different I/O related constructs for example personnel selection, teams, leadership,
individual differences, and performance. In this paper, I will evaluate, analyze and present my own
personal opinion over how Armageddon (1998) presented I/O constructs effectively. The first I/O
related construct that the film analyzed was the importance of individual differences. The film

Telephone Conversation By Soyinka
Wole Soyinka s Telephone Conversation is an eloquent exchange of dialogue between a dark West
African man and his British landlady that inexorably verges on the question of apartheid. The poet
makes use of the most articulate means to air his views, through that of a telephone conversation,
where there is instant and natural give and take. It exhibits a one to one correspondence between the
two. The interaction between a coloured and a white individual at once assumes universal overtones.
At the outset, the poet says that the price seemed reasonable and the location indifferent . Note that as
a word, even though the word indifferent denotes being unbiased , it is a word with negative
connotations. However, as we come across the Landlady s biased nature; the word indifferent gains
positive overtones, as it is better than being impartial. The lady swears that she lived off premises .
Nevertheless, the very aspect of his colour poses a problem to her, far from her promise to remain
aloof. Nothing remains for the poet, he says, but confession. It gives a picture of him sitting in a
confessional, when he hasn t committed any crime....his crime is his colour, his remorse is
solutionless. He ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Awakening Of The Dark Corridor

common occurrences of the tale tell signs of the supernatural, who haunt by creeping behind the lone

Permian and Cretaceous Mass Extinctions Essay
Assess the different hypotheses put forward for the mass extinctions at the end of the Permian and
Cretaceous (KT) Periods.
A mass extinction is an event in which at least 25 75% of species in the global environment are
eradicated in a short period of time. Where as a regional extinction event is when the extinction is
confined to a specific zone. Five mass extinctions have occurred throughout time, two of the most
well known of these are the Permian and Cretaceous extinction events.
There are several hypotheses that are used to explain the causes of mass extinctions. Climate change,
the warming or cooling of global environments over a short period of time, can lead to other
occurrences. Shifts in climate can cause extinction by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A crater, the Bedout crater, in Australia has been discovered. A bolide impact would have lead to mass
death of marine and terrestrial organisms. The force of the impact could have released methane from
stored organic matter and large earthquakes. These earthquakes would have triggered the volcanism in
the Siberian traps, leading to the release of large amounts of CO2 and sulfur dioxide. These gases
combined with methane previously released would have created a noxious atmosphere, combined with
climate change that killed a large scale of life.
It is most likely that a simultaneous occurrence of the different global environmental changes was
responsible for ending the Permian period, and the lives of 96% of species. Each environmental issue
is a major geological event, and amplified the other events, leading to catastrophic environmental
situation, in which barely any life could survive.
The Cretaceous Tertiary mass extinction, commonly referred to as the KT extinction, occurred 65
million years ago. As the most recant extinction event it is more easily studied as more evidence has
been preserved than for the earlier extinctions. This extinction is the most commonly known, as it is
the extinction of the dinosaurs, but the smallest scale mass extinction with only 76% of species dying

Aerodynamics of a Baseball

Abstract
Aerodynamics is known as the study of the different forces acting on an object and the resulting
motion of objects as they fly through the air. Today we know that aerodynamics plays a major role in
many sports, such as tennis, soccer, hunting, and motor sports, we will investigate the effects of
aerodynamics on baseball.
The three main forces that act on a baseball in flight are the weight, drag, and lift. In an effort to
understand how a baseball changes direction we will discuss an additional force called the lift
coefficient ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Like the drag, the amount of lift depends on several factors related to the barometric conditions of the
air and the shape of the object. Additionally the velocity of the object and its relationship with the air
plays a role as well. For a spinning ball, the speed of rotation affects the magnitude of the
aerodynamic force and the direction of the force is perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
The orientation of the axis of rotation or spin axis can be varied by the pitcher when the ball is thrown.
If the axis is vertical, the lift force is horizontal and the ball can be made to curve to one side. If the
axis is horizontal, the lift force is vertical and the ball can be made to dive or rise depending on the
direction of rotation.
A baseball in flight is neither smooth nor symmetric because of the stitches. So the center of pressure
for a baseball moves slightly about the center of the ball with time, depending on the orientation of the
stitches. The lift coefficient Cl for the baseball was finely determined by high speed photography of
the flight of a pitched ball in many laboratories.
The motion of the ball through the air depends on the relative strength and direction of the forces. We
will look at the pitching of a curve ball. The curve ball problem involves all three forces with an
additional force called the Magnus force. This force is a lift force generated from the spinning of the
baseball produces the side force that causes the ball to

God by creating a society that focused on fulfilling their calling through the institutions of family,
work, education, and government in a positive environment. This led to a fruitful society when it
followed in its original intentions.
The Puritans believed that God instituted society and expected to see Christian principles prevail
within (173). The goal of the Puritans was not to be legalistic but to please the God who sent His Son
to save them from their sins. As a result, they sought to establish laws that aligned with Christian
principles. One Puritan, Thomas Cartwright, even said that the commonwealth must be made to agree
with the church [that is Christian principles]. Laws were not instituted to force action of the citizens
but sought to ensure that the citizens of the colony followed the commands of God laid out in the
Bible. While this motivation to obey the Word of God in all portions does substantiate the claim
towards legalism, a deeper study of the term legalism shows that the Puritans were not legalistic.
According to the definition of legalism, the Puritans were

The influx of immigration in the past twenty years has adjusted the economy surrounding the United
States work force. According to the 2016 Current Population Survey, immigrants and their U.S. born
children now number approximately 84.3 million people, or 27 percent of the overall U.S. population.
(http://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/frequently requested statistics immigrants and immigration
united states#CurrentHistoricalNumbers). In the same year, it was reported that 27.0 billion foreign
born persons occupied jobs in the United State s workforce, making up 16.9% of the total.
(https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/forbrn.pdf). These statistics have sparked a debate surrounding
the allowance of immigrants into the United States work force and the consideration of the short and
long term affects immigrants have on the economy surrounding the US job market.
One disputed topic pertains to immigrants decreasing available jobs and negatively affecting wages.
According to an article published on Penn Wharton Budget Model, written in June 2016, influx in
immigration in recent years has no long term affects upon the salaries and the quantity of American
jobs. The article states that immigration has no affect on wage growth for Native born citizens due to
companies responding to influxes of immigrant participation with increase investments; thus offsetting
a loss of capital per worker.

The Aftermath of World War I
The aftermath of World War I left a lasting impression on the 1920s because America entered the
Great War later than the big European countries. This gave them an upper hand in their economic
position since they did not spend as much money as France, Germany, and Britain did. This ignited
their unprecedented affluence which had a domino effect in America s society in terms of government
s relationship to business. Another effect of the First World War is the Red Scare and America s
prejudice and fear against the minorities shown through the immigration policies it established. These
changes in the economy increased living standards, evidently seen through the consumer culture,
progressive innovations, and increased consumption. This illusion of expanding prosperity came to an
end with the stock market crash in 1929. This opened America s eyes to their limits which make the
1920s a decade imperative for its legacy rippled throughout our history. With the Republicans in
control of the White House, the policies of promoting business while limiting government control was
in favor. President Calvin Coolidge stated, The business of America was business, which was the truth
as America plunged into a prosperous economic growth fueled by the consumer culture and other new
ideas. The booming economy was led by the automobile industry. This was started by Henry Ford,
who pioneered two developments that made this industry growth possible standardization and mass

Diagnosis And Treatment Of Nursing Essay
A consecutive series of patients who had undergone anatomically successful MH closure and were
followed for at least 6 months postoperatively were enrolled in this study. All patients were diagnosed
with a stage 2, 3, or 4 idiopathic MH according to the Gass classification system(17) and underwent a
comprehensive ophthalmologic examination before and 1, 3, and 6 months postoperatively, including
measurement of the best corrected VA (BCVA), binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy, and non contact
lens slit lamp biomicroscopy. The SD OCT examination also was performed in all patients on the
same day as the clinical examination. Standard 3 port pars plana vitrectomy for MH repair consisted
of a core vitrectomy with intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide to visualize the vitreous gel,
surgical creation of a posterior vitreous detachment if it had not yet occurred, ILM peeling using
Briliant blue G (BBG), and fluid gas exchange followed by flushing with a mixed non expansile
concentration of 20% sulfur hexafluoride. Patients were instructed to remain facedown for 2 to 7 days
postoperatively. Anatomic success was defined as the presence of a flat or closed MH 1 month
postoperatively confirmed by biomicroscopy.(18) All patients provided written informed consent after
they received a detailed explanation of the surgical procedure and SD OCT follow up examinations.

The Next Christendom Essay
THE NEXT CHRISTENDOM
BY PHILIP JENKINS
A SUMMARY AND RESPONSE
Kyle Sutton
Engaging Reformation and Modern Christianity CH503 XD
December 16, 2011
In the preface, Dr. Philip Jenkins clearly states his thesis for The Next Christendom, Far from being an
export of the capitalist West, a vestige of Euro American imperialism, Christianity is now rooted in the
Third World, and the religion s future lies in the global South .[1] The distinctions of global North and
global South describe the groupings of Europe, North American, and Japan (global North) and Asia,
Africa, and Latin America (global South). [2] This ten chapter book can be divided into two major
sections. In the first five chapters, Jenkins traces the historical ... Show more content on

This Southern church is enthusiastic, spontaneous, fundamentalist, and supernatural oriented. Several
other reasons press the shift to the South. Among these, first, Western nations have largely developed
an egregious attachment to tolerance and materialism. Second, simple population growth is slower in
the West than developing nations. This does not imply that other major religions are not growing in
the South also, the point is: Christianity is growing at an incredible rate in the Southern hemisphere
and in China and impacts the global look of Christianity.[9] If such trends continue, Jenkins claims
Christianity will inevitably become increasingly Southern in style, culture, philosophy, and academics.
So the questions remain: what will Christianity look like when it is no longer culturally European or
Western? Will it still be Christianity in its core? As the church population explodes in developing
nations and becomes more indigenous to those cultures, will there be a conflict of orthodoxy and
heresy like in the early church? Will the church become increasingly poor, libertarian, or spiritual?
[10] In the second half of the book, Jenkins responds to these questions. In Chapter eight, Jenkins
explores the turbulent possibility for horrific violence, war and terrorism along religious lines that
might accompany the rise of Southern Christianity which is already happening and about which the
western public is largely uninformed. Christian growth

The preamble of the term alienation by Karl Marx in the last decade of the 19th century has been

Assimilation is an approach towards incorporation and amalgamation, through which, not only
immigrants but also other marginalized groups African Americans in American, women in society,

The major and foremost concern of all postmodern writers has been the life of South Asian expatriates

A Man For All Seasons Corruption Essay
Corruption in the play A Man For All Seasons The main plot in the play A Man For All Seasons by
Robert Bolt is corruption, more specifically political corruption. While the play focuses heavily on the
social demise, and moral strength of the character Thomas More. It also covers the inverse process
with other characters, such as; Richard Rich, Thomas Cromwell, and the king of England Henry VIII.
In the play Thomas More stands as a beacon of selfhood and virtue, while the other three men used
manipulation and disloyalty, to gain wealth and power, no matter what the consequences may be. The
character Richard Rich did not start out corrupt in the beginning of the play, but became corrupt with
prospect of becoming wealthy and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While he ponders what Cromwell will do to More, he really do not care what happened to him, he
thought More would eventually do as Cromwell say, but he is proving wrong, and soon realizes that
More is not as weak as he is, and is not easily sway by power and money as he is. In the play Rich s
slow rise to power is shown in his attire, in the beginning he was wearing old, shabby clothes, that he
complained about, but as he rises in the ranks, his attire became more fancy, which is what he as
always wanted, and got it a the price of selling his soul. In the play we watched More s fortunes
dwindled, while Rich s flourished, an indication that Rich is reaping the benefits of evil and corrupted
ways. At the end of the play Rich lied under oath about More s real thoughts on the King s divorce,
which ultimately led to More s beheading, that scene signifies Rich s complete transformation as
corrupt and amoral character. Rich sacrificed his moral conscience in exchange for success, and a high
ranking office, something that More, a more moral character would never do. Thomas Cromwell is
another character in the play that displayed corrupted ways. He was the primary person responsible for
the downfall of More. While Rich s immoral acts were reluctant at times, Cromwell s was steadfast,
he was really dedicated and motivated in taken down More, and did it with practically no guilt
whatsoever. Cromwell s sole purpose in the play

Discussing the Use of Brain Imaging Technologies In Investigating the Relationships Between
Biological Factors and Behavior
This essay will attempt to offer a balanced review of the use of brain imaging technologies in
investigating the relationships between biological factors and behavior. The different types of brain
imaging technologies are PET: Positron Emission Topography, MRI: Magnetic Resonance Imaging,
fMRI: functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, EEG: Electroencephalogram, and lastly CAT:
Computerized Axial Tomography (Demitri, 2007). Brain imaging technologies are methods used in

MRIs are used to allows researchers to see structures in the brain (2007) A great advantage to using
MRI is it is non invasive. The less researchers harm their patients the more ethical it is which can help
with the validity. The downside is however, researchers can only use MRIs to look at activation in the
brain making its use limited. A study that can show how MRI scans care used to investigate the
relationships between biological factors and behavior is Maguire et al. (2000). The aim of this study
was to determine if well experienced taxi drivers in London would have differing hippocampus
structures compared to London bus drivers. MRI scans were used to scan the structure of their
hippocampus, and measured the amount of gray matter in their brain. Maguire noticed there was a
larger amount of gray matter found in taxi drivers. Maguire found the data could suggest that the
increase amount of gray matter in the hippocampus of taxi drivers is due to the active and repetitive
use of the spatial memory skills required to remember roads; the neurons are stronger in areas of the
brain which are used most. Maguire because of the MRI technology was able to observe the structures
of the subject s brains and find a correlation between environment and neuroplasticity which has been
known to affects behavior in terms of memory. Maguire effectively used MRI scans to investigate the
structure of the hippocampus, he could not have done this using other technologies such as an EEG or
a PET scan. With this study Maguire was able to see the biological factor of brains areas and the

Housing Bubble Essay
In the beginning days of the 21st century, the United States experience an increase in the price of real

Maybe Dorothy develops feelings for another man. Maybe when Ed left she was pregnant.
In addition, when Ed returns home, the audience feels cheated out of seeing the moment that Ed and
Dorothy are finally reunited. This is what the audience has been anticipating, but then suddenly on
page 89 they are together. Once they reunite, the story needs to end pretty quickly.
The story currently goes on for another 22 or so pages without any real goal or focus. It focuses too
much on Ed and Hel. The audience doesn t see Dorothy get sick or die.
There s no doubt that the characters are likable and potentially intriguing. It s easy to root for Ed and
for Dorothy. Unfortunately because there are too many characters and shifting timelines, the main
characters, like Ed and Dorothy, don t get as much focus as they should. Once the non essential
scenes, subplots, and characters are streamlined, these characters will stand out more.
Overall, the dialogue is consistent with the personalities of each of the characters and reveals
information about them. However, avoid sounding overly melodramatic, like when Lloyd sees the ring
and says Oh my God!

Power Rangers Research Papers
Dean Israelite s Power Rangers movie is a tediously paced heavy handed attempt at rebooting a
franchise that was better left alone.
Summary
The film starts off centering around Billy (RJ Cyler), who is longing to finish a project his late father
started concerning an energy source at the base of a mountain in Angel Grove (his hometown). He
makes friends with Jason (Darce Montgomery), who he meets in Saturday detention and they agree to
meet up later that night. The deal was Jason would drive him to the site of the mountain in exchange
for Jason getting some help with his pesky house arrest bracelet he now has to wear. They eventually
make it to the location only to learn that some of the same teens who have detention on Saturday night
apparently like hanging out at a random mountain on Friday evening. We have Kimberly (Naomi
Scott) a cheerleader who has been ostracized, Trini (Becky G) a confused young girl who thinks she is
gay, and Zack (Ludi Lin) the bad boy, all seem to be up some shenanigans. Things quickly take a turn
when they hear an explosion and realize that it was Billy who causes it (apparently he brought some
dynamite with him). Amongst the rubble, the team discovers some power coins, and some new found
super powers. Little do they know that they set in motion events that will lead to them coming face to
face with the projection of an alien named Zordon (Bryan Cranston), a robot named Alpha 5 (Bill
Hader), and a gold driven villain named Rita ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

While I was certainly skeptical at first, Elizabeth Banks made a fairly decent villain in the film. She

long gold fingernails looked equal parts painful and like something you would see at the mall.

A Fine Line Between Utilizing Natural Rights and Breaking the Law Everyone is entitled to natural
rights such as freedom of speech, freedom to protest, and freedom of beliefs or religion. However,
these are personal, or private, rights, and are therefore limited in the work force. Once one brings these
personal rights, more specifically freedom of religion, into the work force, they violate the separation
of church and state. The separation of church and state is simply a law preventing government
officials to serve with biased opinions based on personal beliefs. All government agents are expected
to serve with an unbiased opinion, and it is difficult to do that if one ... Show more content on

Kim Davis has sparked the interests of thousands all over the country, and even some all over the
world. In getting everyone s attention, Kim Davis has managed to stir up quite an argument as well.
Although this dispute has gotten a bit messy, underneath the crossfire of conflicting opinions, there are
the underlying truths of the story. Kim Davis is a citizen of the United States, and as a U.S. citizen,
Davis s personal beliefs, and the freedom to express them, are protected by the First Amendment of
the U.S. Constitution, which states, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or
the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of
grievances (US Const. amend. I). Proponents of Davis argue that not only does she have the freedom
to believe what she wants, but she has the freedom to express her beliefs as well. Though Kim Davis s
beliefs are protected by the First Amendment, the right for same sex couples to marry is protected by
section one of the Fourteenth Amendment, which states, No state shall make or enforce any law which
shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens

Comparing Nicholas I And Yertle The Turtle
Nicholas I can easily be compared to the story of Yertle the Turtle. Both Yertle and Nicholas have
similar qualities that can be exemplified. Nicholas I and Yertle are power hungry and in their very
different environments, show greed, a bit of arrogance, intolerance and corruption. Yertle the Turtle
began his life as a very happy little turtle. He was king of a nice clean pond , where everyone had
plenty of warm water and enough food to eat.. However, he decided this was not enough. Whether it
be greed or a need to command more power, he wanted to see more than just his one small pond. But I
don t see enough. (stanza 2, line 4) Yertle would do anything to see beyond his one small pond.
Similarly, Nicholas I wanted to control more under his reign in Russia. Both rulers were willing to do

turtles down on bottom. Nicholas I was similarly intolerant with his army. He was intent on acquiring

  • 2. Phone Records Between 1970 And 1970 Telephone is a telecommunications device used to communicate between two or more people in any distance. Primarily telephones were used only for communication purposes but today telephones are as powerful and useful as computers are. With the evolution of phones, many things have changed which includes phone records. In past, phone records involved only phone numbers but today there is so many data and information on phones. These records include phone numbers, bank information, personal pictures and videos, location and text messages. These records are often used by law enforcers to investigate crimes by gathering information from phone records. Since 1970 many things has changed. This paper examines the technological differences between phone records in the 1970 and smartphones, privacy and how courts affect the technology. In past law enforcers could pull phone information without probable cause which means telecommunications industry used to be more cooperative with law enforcement. But now there have been many changes. Knutson, Gryta, Barrett (2014) write on the article that AT T Inc. said federal investigators might need a warrant to gather data about cellphone user s location, challenging the more permissive legal framework the government has used for year. This means law enforcers will need probable cause to get warrant from a judge before pulling phone records from carriers like AT T. • 3. Honey Bees And Its Effects On Bees Bees are a vital source to most of the daily products that we use today. From the food we eat, to the trees outside. Without them, there will be no greenery or some of our favorite foods. That is why it is necessary to protect their well being. Therefore multiple solutions have been recommended to preserve their existence, in healthy and efficient environments. Recently, studies are showing a dramatic decrease of the bee population. As a result, there have been fewer instances of the great pollination process performed by the bees, therefore affecting the food and produce whose growth process are dependant on the bees. Honey bees originally came from Europe, but the problem of the decreasing population became known after Pollination Week declared by the senate and governors on June 22nd. The reasoning behind the lack of bees on agriculture farms, is due to the harmful pesticide spray. Denied access to neonics, farmers will inevitably revert to spraying their fields either from the ground or by plane with older and more dangerous insecticides (Rodgers Media 6). Furthermore, because there are fewer pollinators, the food they help flourish have become a worry to researchers. The world would be a desolate place without our pollinating friends, devoid of flowers, flowering plants and many of our favorite foods (Hannon Gerald 9). Implies the importance of the bees handiwork in the production of the produce that we eat. Although it is costly in order to transport the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. The Success Of The Unification Of Italy To unify a state, many components such as strategy, population willingness and cooperation are needed. All of those were crucial for the unification of Italy, but moreover it was the two men that have contributed the most; Count Camillo di Cavour and Giuseppe Garibaldi. They were completely different. Cavour was the leading strategic power behind the unification and Garibaldi was the national hero inspiring the masses. It cannot be denied that the success of the unification of Italy depended on both of them. Although Cavour was the leading figure in the Italian Unification, its completion would not have happened without Garibaldi s assertive actions. Before the Italian Unification, Italy has not been politically unified since the Roman Empire. Italy consisted of many autonomous city states and there was also a great influence of foreign dynasties. Most of the North part of Italy belonged to Austria Hungary, the South part to the Bourbon dynasty and the states of church, which were located in between to the Pope as the supranational sovereign. The Pope himself also created another barrier against the unification together with France, Spain and Austria Hungary. During every invasion, at least one ruler always stood on the side of invaders for his own profit. Both the city states and the dynasties were resistant towards patriotic movements, which were not of their own and fought neighboring states, representing a threat. • 6. Freedom Writers Film Analysis The film The Freedom Writers was released in 2007 and was directed by Richard LaGravanese. Richard used multiple film techniques to help the viewers understand how the characters are feeling, their relationships with other characters and what their personality is like. These techniques include camera shots, costume, and lighting, and they were helpful to create a theme of perseverance. In one scene, room 203 is spending a lot of time to raise money so Miep Gies, an elderly lady who lived through World War II and helped hide Anne Frank, can come visit them. After a dance concert and a bake sale, both of which were very popular, they had raised enough for Gies to travel to America. During their struggle to fundraise, Margaret the head teacher would continuously complain to the principle that they shouldn t be able to do so, to no avail. When Miep arrives, students have created a big, bright sign, welcoming her to their school, and they all listen with rapt attention as she tells them her experience in the war. A tracking shot was used as Margaret marched to the principal s office three times and the camera followed her as she moved. A tracking shot attracts the audience s attention to what the camera is focusing on, which in this case is Margaret. A long shot being incorporated into the tracking shot tells the audience that the setting is important as well, and the long shot helps the viewer understand the emotion of the characters as we ... • 7. English Reformation Dbq Essay Among the many religious changes that occurred throughout Europe in the sixteenth century, few were as widely influential as the Reformation. There were three streams of the Reformation: the common class, the educated middle class, and the monarchs and princes. All three streams wanted the church to be fixed and hoped it could combine old ideas and new ones. The Reformation was influenced by many different people, yet the most important was John Wyclif, who stated that the church did not need possession in order to be powerful. Different ideologies came from the influences of Wyclif, and many others. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Along with Lutheranism, another ideology called Calvinism began during the Reformation. Calvinism, run by John Calvin, focused on predestination the idea where God had already picked his people s destinies when they were young and nothing they did would affect these destinies. A third ideology also came into play during the Reformation called Zwinglism. Run by Zwingli, a German, he began a reform of the Swiss city Zurich, and created the Priesthood of True Believers. Following the new ideologies, the English Reformation began during this time period. The most important change during the English reformation began when Queen Elizabeth took the throne back from Mary and turned the church into a Protestant church. During the Protestant Reformation, Anabaptist sects became present in Europe, and they all believed in the Inner light a concept of spiritual revelation. BACKGROUND INFORMATION The Monarch Butterfly is the most known butterfly because of its colored wings that warns its predators that it is poisonous. It is found throughout all of North America. The Monarch Butterfly can t fly with a body temperature less than 86 degrees ,so they flap their wings and sit in the sun in order to keep warm. The milkweed is the Monarch s main food source. The milkweed has many positive effects on the Monarch Butterfly. For example, the butterfly lays the eggs on the plants ,and the milkweed gives the poisonous taste to the predators when the caterpillar eats it. The Monarch lay their eggs on the milkweed plant. They usually lay one egg on the plant which is the size of a pencil tip. The yellow or white eggs start to hatch after four days. The female butterflies lay 300 500 eggs through two to five weeks of the process of laying eggs. The next step in the life cycle is the larvae. This is the stage where the monarchs do all of the growing. The caterpillar has many parts that help it survive. Once the caterpillar gets older it starts to shed off its skin. The first part to shed off is the head. The skin starts growing back into the caterpillar ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. The Effect Of Reflex On Children s Health Introduction: Reflex can defined as an automatic and often inborn response to a stimulus that involves a nerve impulse passing inward from a receptor to a nerve center and thence outward to an effector (as a muscle or gland) without reaching the level of consciousness (Merriam Webster) or more simply put an reaction to an action that our bodies do to return to homeostasis without us having to think about it. Reflexes play an extremely important role in remaining healthy and protecting us from being harmed without having to take the time to think about it. For example, infants have a suck reflex that causes them to start sucking when the roof of their mouths are stimulated; this reflex is obviously important because if infants did not have this reflex, they could die of starvation since they would not be able to draw milk from their mother s breast (this is actually a problem with premature infants as the suck reflex does not develop until between the 32nd and 36th week of pregnancy) (Stanford Children s Health). There are two main types of reflexes the simpler monosynaptic reflexes (or spinal reflexes) that can act without any input from the brain and the more complex superficial reflexes which still requiring some processing from the brain. A reflex consists of five main components, which as a group are called the reflex arc. Component one is the sensory receptor, which receives stimulus and then sends an and impulse to the second component, the afferent pathway. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

While in the acclimation pens the wolves were fed a diet of elk and other road kill with wolves typically consuming 21 to 32 pounds of meat in a single feeding. In March of 1995, three of the packs were released in Yellowstone, but with one issue; the wolves refused to exit through the gate because they had associated it with humans, forcing the park rangers to cut a hole in the side of the enclosure for them to escape (Sanders par. 11). Once the wolves were released two of the packs left the park and set up their territory leaving only one group initially setting up inside the park. On May 3, 1995 female wolf number nine gave birth to eight puppies, the first wolves to be born in the park in nearly 70 years. The mother and pups were recaptured and taken back to the acclimation pen, until the pups were weaned (Sanders par. 15). The reason for this recapture was because at this time, this wolf and her eight pups counted for almost 50% of the park s wolf population. Since this time there have been no other human interventions preferring to let nature take its course on the population. In 1996 1997 a second group of wolves was captured and brought to Yellowstone for introduction via soft release with two more acclimation pens being built, bringing the total to four. In the winter of 1997 1998 the reintroduction of wolves was stopped due to the high success of the wolf packs breeding and the pups surviving on their own. The breeding ... It exhibits a one to one correspondence between the two. The interaction between a coloured and a white individual at once assumes universal overtones. At the outset, the poet says that the price seemed reasonable and the location indifferent . Note that as a word, even though the word indifferent denotes being unbiased , it is a word with negative connotations. However, as we come across the Landlady s biased nature; the word indifferent gains positive overtones, as it is better than being impartial. The lady swears that she lived off premises . These gases combined with methane previously released would have created a noxious atmosphere, combined with climate change that killed a large scale of life. Spears July 10, 2011 Abstract Aerodynamics is known as the study of the different forces acting on an object and the resulting motion of objects as they fly through the air. Today we know that aerodynamics plays a major role in many sports, such as tennis, soccer, hunting, and motor sports, we will investigate the effects of aerodynamics on baseball. The three main forces that act on a baseball in flight are the weight, drag, and lift. In an effort to understand how a baseball changes direction we will discuss an additional force called the lift coefficient ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Like the drag, the amount of lift depends on several factors related to the barometric conditions of the air and the shape of the object. Additionally the velocity of the object and its relationship with the air plays a role as well. For a spinning ball, the speed of rotation affects the magnitude of the aerodynamic force and the direction of the force is perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The orientation of the axis of rotation or spin axis can be varied by the pitcher when the ball is thrown. If the axis is vertical, the lift force is horizontal and the ball can be made to curve to one side. If the axis is horizontal, the lift force is vertical and the ball can be made to dive or rise depending on the direction of rotation. A baseball in flight is neither smooth nor symmetric because of the stitches. So the center of pressure for a baseball moves slightly about the center of the ball with time, depending on the orientation of the stitches. The lift coefficient Cl for the baseball was finely determined by high speed photography of the flight of a pitched ball in many laboratories. The motion of the ball through the air depends on the relative strength and direction of the forces. We will look at the pitching of a curve ball. The curve ball problem involves all three forces with an additional force called the Magnus force. This force is a lift force generated from the spinning of the baseball produces the side force that causes the ball to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 21. Puritans And The New World Essay Over the years, people broadcast the Puritans as a group of people who were extremely legalistic and against anything that would be considered fun in the modern world. This incorrect broadcast of the Puritans has led to many misconceptions about how they lived when they came to the New World and settled in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. The Puritans were not legalistic, but rather sought to please God by creating a society that focused on fulfilling their calling through the institutions of family, work, education, and government in a positive environment. This led to a fruitful society when it followed in its original intentions. The Puritans believed that God instituted society and expected to see Christian principles prevail within (173). The goal of the Puritans was not to be legalistic but to please the God who sent His Son to save them from their sins. As a result, they sought to establish laws that aligned with Christian principles. One Puritan, Thomas Cartwright, even said that the commonwealth must be made to agree with the church [that is Christian principles]. Laws were not instituted to force action of the citizens but sought to ensure that the citizens of the colony followed the commands of God laid out in the Bible. While this motivation to obey the Word of God in all portions does substantiate the claim towards legalism, a deeper study of the term legalism shows that the Puritans were not legalistic. This gave them an upper hand in their economic position since they did not spend as much money as France, Germany, and Britain did. This ignited their unprecedented affluence which had a domino effect in America s society in terms of government s relationship to business. Another effect of the First World War is the Red Scare and America s prejudice and fear against the minorities shown through the immigration policies it established. This opened America s eyes to their limits which make the 1920s a decade imperative for its legacy rippled throughout our history. This does not imply that other major religions are not growing in the South also, the point is: Christianity is growing at an incredible rate in the Southern hemisphere and in China and impacts the global look of Christianity.[9] If such trends continue, Jenkins claims Christianity will inevitably become increasingly Southern in style, culture, philosophy, and academics. So the questions remain: what will Christianity look like when it is no longer culturally European or Western? Will it still be Christianity in its core? As the church population explodes in developing nations and becomes more indigenous to those cultures, will there be a conflict of orthodoxy and heresy like in the early church? Will the church become increasingly poor, libertarian, or spiritual? [10] In the second half of the book, Jenkins responds to these questions. The aim of this study was to determine if well experienced taxi drivers in London would have differing hippocampus structures compared to London bus drivers. MRI scans were used to scan the structure of their hippocampus, and measured the amount of gray matter in their brain. Maguire noticed there was a larger amount of gray matter found in taxi drivers. Maguire found the data could suggest that the increase amount of gray matter in the hippocampus of taxi drivers is due to the active and repetitive use of the spatial memory skills required to remember roads; the neurons are stronger in areas of the brain which are used most. Maguire because of the MRI technology was able to observe the structures of the subject s brains and find a correlation between environment and neuroplasticity which has been known to affects behavior in terms of memory. This is what the audience has been anticipating, but then suddenly on page 89 they are together. Once they reunite, the story needs to end pretty quickly. The story currently goes on for another 22 or so pages without any real goal or focus. It focuses too much on Ed and Hel. The audience doesn t see Dorothy get sick or die. There s no doubt that the characters are likable and potentially intriguing. It s easy to root for Ed and for Dorothy. Unfortunately because there are too many characters and shifting timelines, the main characters, like Ed and Dorothy, don t get as much focus as they should. Once the non essential scenes, subplots, and characters are streamlined, these characters will stand out more. Overall, the dialogue is consistent with the personalities of each of the characters and reveals information about them. However, avoid sounding overly melodramatic, like when Lloyd sees the ring and says Oh my God! There are formatting ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. Power Rangers Research Papers Dean Israelite s Power Rangers movie is a tediously paced heavy handed attempt at rebooting a franchise that was better left alone. Summary The film starts off centering around Billy (RJ Cyler), who is longing to finish a project his late father started concerning an energy source at the base of a mountain in Angel Grove (his hometown). He makes friends with Jason (Darce Montgomery), who he meets in Saturday detention and they agree to meet up later that night. The deal was Jason would drive him to the site of the mountain in exchange for Jason getting some help with his pesky house arrest bracelet he now has to wear. They eventually make it to the location only to learn that some of the same teens who have detention on Saturday night apparently like hanging out at a random mountain on Friday evening. We have Kimberly (Naomi Scott) a cheerleader who has been ostracized, Trini (Becky G) a confused young girl who thinks she is gay, and Zack (Ludi Lin) the bad boy, all seem to be up some shenanigans. Things quickly take a turn when they hear an explosion and realize that it was Billy who causes it (apparently he brought some dynamite with him). Amongst the rubble, the team discovers some power coins, and some new found super powers. Little do they know that they set in motion events that will lead to them coming face to face with the projection of an alien named Zordon (Bryan Cranston), a robot named Alpha 5 (Bill Hader), and a gold driven villain named Rita ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The first time the Zords are all in a formation, we hear the old Power Rangers Theme. While I was certainly skeptical at first, Elizabeth Banks made a fairly decent villain in the film. She certainly made use of every inch of her costume to help accentuate how evil she was on screen. Those long gold fingernails looked equal parts painful and like something you would see at the mall. What Didn t ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. A Fine Line Between Utilizing Natural Rights And Breaking... Rachel P Wolverton Mrs. Cole Accelerated English II 16 October 2015 A Fine Line Between Utilizing Natural Rights and Breaking the Law Everyone is entitled to natural rights such as freedom of speech, freedom to protest, and freedom of beliefs or religion. However, these are personal, or private, rights, and are therefore limited in the work force. Once one brings these personal rights, more specifically freedom of religion, into the work force, they violate the separation of church and state. The separation of church and state is simply a law preventing government officials to serve with biased opinions based on personal beliefs. All government agents are expected to serve with an unbiased opinion, and it is difficult to do that if one ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Kim Davis has sparked the interests of thousands all over the country, and even some all over the world. In getting everyone s attention, Kim Davis has managed to stir up quite an argument as well. Although this dispute has gotten a bit messy, underneath the crossfire of conflicting opinions, there are the underlying truths of the story. Kim Davis is a citizen of the United States, and as a U.S. citizen, Davis s personal beliefs, and the freedom to express them, are protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which states, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances (US Const. amend. I). Proponents of Davis argue that not only does she have the freedom to believe what she wants, but she has the freedom to express her beliefs as well. Though Kim Davis s beliefs are protected by the First Amendment, the right for same sex couples to marry is protected by section one of the Fourteenth Amendment, which states, No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens ... • 33. The Thirst Project It was the summer of 2008 in southern California when a mere eight college students were exposed to the true horrors of the global water crisis. After they learned that 1.1 billion people were suffering from a serious lack of safe and clean drinking water, these college students had raised an astounding $1,700 on their own. They had been able to raise a good amount of money for a community to have safe and clean drinking water. What more could they do? However, schools began to reach out to these eight college students. That was when they realized that there were so many organizations that spoke and helped with the water crisis, yet none of them were targeted towards the youth. One of the most important agendas of the Thirst Project was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Comparing Nicholas I And Yertle The Turtle Nicholas I can easily be compared to the story of Yertle the Turtle. Both Yertle and Nicholas have similar qualities that can be exemplified. Nicholas I and Yertle are power hungry and in their very different environments, show greed, a bit of arrogance, intolerance and corruption. Yertle the Turtle began his life as a very happy little turtle. He was king of a nice clean pond , where everyone had plenty of warm water and enough food to eat.. However, he decided this was not enough. Whether it be greed or a need to command more power, he wanted to see more than just his one small pond. But I don t see enough. (stanza 2, line 4) Yertle would do anything to see beyond his one small pond. Similarly, Nicholas I wanted to control more under his reign in Russia. Both rulers were willing to do whatever they had to in order to gain the power they craved. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He would stack one turtle on top of another, with no consideration for how any other turtle felt. As long as Yertle got to see all that he desired, then all was fine with him. Well, not all was fine with the turtles that were stacked one upon the other. This was very uncomfortable and painful for all the turtles down on bottom. Nicholas I was similarly intolerant with his army. He was intent on acquiring a large army, in fact his army grew to approximately one million men. However, the men in Nicholas I s army were weak, poorly equipped to fight in the battlefield and had no structural ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
