systems, techniques& aids in the field of
  human learning(1979)
• What are ict tools?
• Tools that are used for communicating
  information to others
• There are two types of instructional
  aids

• computers
• Tape recorder
• Tv
• Cctv
• Projectors
• Radio
• Vcr

Multimedia

multimedia is the integration of multiple forms of media.
This includes text, graphics, audio, video, etc,
OR
Using more than one medium of expression or communication
OR
the integration of text, graphics, animation, sound, and/or video
Why we use multimedia in
     classrooms?
Multimedia activities encourage students to work in
groups, express their knowledge in multiple ways, solve
problems, revise their own work, and construct
knowledge, explain difficult concepts, inspire creativity, and
have fun,. The advantages of integrating multimedia in the
classroom are many. Through participation in multimedia
               activities, students can learn:
• Real-world skills related to technology
• The value of teamwork
• Effective collaboration techniques
• The impact and importance of different media
• The challenges of communicating to different audiences
• How to present information in compelling ways
• Techniques for synthesizing and analyzing complex content
• The importance of research, planning, and organization skills
• The significance of presentation and speaking skills
• How to accept and provide constructive feedback
• How to express their ideas creatively

• Constraints in the use of multimedia….
• Technological resources, both hardware and software
• Technological skills, for both the students and teacher
• Time required to plan, design, develop, and evaluate multimedia
  activities
CCTV (closed-circuit television)

.The Internet expands classroom resources, it brings
  information, data, images, and computer
software into the classroom from other places.
. With Internet we can make contact with people
over the world possible, adding into the
classroom experts of each area, new and old
  friends, and colleagues in education
.A motivator for students can be the use of
  networks

• Edmodo (www.edmodo.com) The Edmodo
platform allows teachers and learners to post
classroom material, share links to interesting
content and videos, as well as access
  homework and school notices.
• Slideshare (www.slideshare.net) this presentation-
  sharing platform
• YouTube (www.youtube.com)
One of the best ways to engage learners of all ages is
through the use of video content
• Teachers Say Internet Improves Quality of Education
