• If a teacher is a networked techer then then he/she will be able
to communicate at every point to their colleagues , students ,
guardians , the school / university etc which would be helpful to
all in order to have communication in the time of neeD
• If the teacher is having knowledge how to use internet then
he/she would be able to search the syllabus topics and clarify the
doubts whenever needed and the student would be benefitted by
enriched information
• At present we are in a situation where our faculty used to share
all th study materials via ppt , pdf , photos and all so that the
information would be reachable to all.

books it can be also acknowledged through internet . the study is not limited
over internet as one student who is having doubt in any topic can
• We are in that phase of life tht if we have to ask or clarify then within a second
of time we text and it is imparted to the receiver and the doubt is cleared .
• The networked student can have contacts with the teachers, family ,friends,
classmates, experts. So that he would be able to communicate to his/her
teacher whenever facing difficulty during studies , he/she would be able to
communicate to his guardian whenever there is need in case of emergency also
.

enhanced by more availability of content which leads him/her acquiring more
information which is enriched in quality and leads to heathy and beneficial learning
process.
• ACQUIRING NEW SKILLS:-
• Skills can be gained through practice, in active state of mind where one is enable to
differentiate ,generate ,develop. Students acquire skills by observing how one can
work on excel how one can communicate with each other how to search on internet
whenever facing difficulty regarding studies ,how to share their problems with their
collegues peers teachers and families.

• during lessons at primary level we note that the use of Internet
has facilitated the development of effective learning skills, self-
assessment, adaptation to new technologies, and development of
volitional capacity, cognitive and even emotional capacitie

results, decision making, assuming roles and responsibilities,

• When the things are done in less span of time which influences the
teacher , students , whosoever is in touh with ICT . not only with the
passage of time it also increases the outcomes this leads to more

We all know that communication is a process by which one shares their
ideas thoughts emotions etc with each other . at the earlier stage we were
not able to communicate with the people who were living far but now in
21st century it is easy to communicate with the person of different country

• A host of platforms is available which offers open and online
courses , again many of them are free online platform learning is
given to those who are interested in learning , to the number of

• Following a blog written by others in the profession is a good way
for one’s professional development .since, blog also provides
opportunity to interact asynchronous , there is a possibility of

• WIKI is another 2.O technology where teacher could contribute
and hence engage in professional development .this helps the
groups to collaborate on the creation of web based information.

• Podcast are another 2.o technologies that are useful for teachers
since the archives of resources are always available for use,
podcasts became very handy when they are in need . since the
audio format can be played on mobile phones , they are available
for teachers for convenient professional development.
• WEB -CONFERENCE:-
• It allows us to connect and communicate in real time with people
in different locations through internet .web conferencing

22. • TEACHER PORTFOLIO:-
• we can assemble records, documents and details of our teaching and their
result in a very creative and systematic way. These documented details
give us an opportunity to look at them at a different point of time. Thus
teaching can be seen as an ongoing process of inquiry, experimentation
and reflection.
• E-PORTFOLIO:-
• Teacher portfolios maintained in digital form are called electronic
portfolio, e-portfolio in short. E-portfolios have advantage over other
forms of documentation like Accessibility, Multimedia , Non linear

• Professional writing is one of the professional development activities which has been
explored to the least extent. Writing, even of a paragraph, requires organizing ideas
and presenting them in a coherent way. Hence the writer need to understand the idea
even before writing, writing leads to higher level of understanding.
• TELE CONFERENCING:-
• Teleconference refers to an arrangement of reaching out to multiple centers from a
central place thorough satellite connectivity. The centers could have audio and video
outputs or only audio output. The experts located at the central position interact with
participants located at various centers through video or dedicated telephone
connection.

24. CONCLUSION:-
• ICT has a great impact in our daily lives. For example, we can read
our local newspaper using the online newspaper. Another example
is we still can get connected with our family, relatives, or
colleagues even if we are abroad by using the electronic mail,
yahoo messenger, call conference, or video conference.
• by the use of Internet in education students become involved in
learning tasks to search, select, identify useful information on
certain topics and use this information in various contexts for
solving new problems, comparatively analyzing individual
performances against those of colleagues or other authors of
electronic publications and publish their own websites
