CLASSROOM PROCESS EXPECTED STUDENT'S
RESPONSES
1. Improvising Speaking Skill
Teacher asks one of the pupil to come and present
the topic which the teacher told him the day before.
2. Introducing the Topic
Teacher writes the title on the black board
' The Man Who Knew Too Much '
Teacher use audio visual aid / real objects / pictures
to introduce the topic. Teacher reads the portion with
proper stress, adequate gestures and expression.
Teacher explains the theme,
The Corporal Turnbull commanded the Private
Quelch to take the class. With confidence, the Private
Quelch took the class. After his lecture , the Private
Quelch and others were fallen in and waited for
dismissal. The Corporal Turnbull told that the platoon

Groupwork
Write a profile of the author
Presentation
Students are asked to come up with their
answers.
6. Refining or Editing
Teacher edits group leader's works.
7. Teacher's Version
Teacher displays her version using charts or audio
visual aid.
8. Self Reflection
Students are asked to write in their 'reflective book'
about the lesson and their views and ideas.
Teacher collects their reflective books regularly to
check.
9. Assignment
Teacher gives assignment only if necessary.

Pupils refer glossary and
mini dictionary and clarify
their doubts.
Pupils are encouraged to
ask questions and answer
them enthusiastically.
Pupils write the activity.
Pupils observes teacher's
version and copies it.
Pupils are motivated to write

Name of the teacher trainee : Sindhya Rajan Name of the School : RVVHSS Subject : English Unit : II, Tales of Toil Lesson : The Man Who Knew Too Much Curricular Statements The pupils develop the ability to, * develop proper attitudes towards work * think and evaluate critically the issues related to human resource development and to develop proper skills and attitudes needed for the human resource development. Teaching - learning Materials Course book , source book , audio visual aid , pictures References Internet , course book , source book CLASSROOM PROCESS EXPECTED STUDENT'S RESPONSES 1. Improvising Speaking Skill Teacher asks one of the pupil to come and present the topic which the teacher told him the day before. 2. Introducing the Topic Teacher writes the title on the black board ' The Man Who Knew Too Much ' Teacher use audio visual aid / real objects / pictures to introduce the topic. Teacher reads the portion with proper stress, adequate gestures and expression. Teacher explains the theme, The Corporal Turnbull commanded the Private Quelch to take the class. With confidence, the Private Quelch took the class. After his lecture , the Private Quelch and others were fallen in and waited for dismissal. The Corporal Turnbull told that the platoon Pupils listen curiously and are encouraged to speak and there by their community skills are increased. Pupils are motivated to listen.

Testing the attainment of comprehension in Group Each group should ask questions to other groups. * What was Corporal Turnbull's decision ? * What was other's reaction ? * What was the turning point in the life of the Private Quelch? 5. Activity Groupwork Write a profile of the author Presentation Students are asked to come up with their answers. 6. Refining or Editing Teacher edits group leader's works. 7. Teacher's Version Teacher displays her version using charts or audio visual aid. 8. Self Reflection Students are asked to write in their 'reflective book' about the lesson and their views and ideas. Teacher collects their reflective books regularly to check. 9. Assignment Teacher gives assignment only if necessary. " Write a funny experience in your life" Pupils refer glossary and mini dictionary and clarify their doubts. Pupils are encouraged to ask questions and answer them enthusiastically. Pupils write the activity. Pupils observes teacher's version and copies it. Pupils are motivated to write freely and are able to express their ideas without any fear or shy.
