Classroom Process Response
1. Rapport/ Informal Interaction
Teacher engages in an informal interaction with the
students.
2. Explaining the Theme of the Lesson
Teacher explains the crux of the Story. “The man Who
Knew too Much.”
3. Introducing the lesson to the Pupils
Teacher reads the three paragraphs of the short story with
proper stress, adequate gestures.
4. Loud reading
Teacher asks one of the students to read the lesson loudly.
5. Silent Reading
Students engages in silent reading and find out the meaning
of the difficult words using glossary.
6. Group Discussion
Students are asked to form groups and discuss about what
they have learnt and put forth their ideas.
7. Presentation.
Teacher calls one of the group leaders to present their
viewpoints regarding the given topic.
8. Consolidation of the Points
Teacher consolidates the points given by the group leaders
and adds his own points too.
9. Conclusion
Teacher concludes the topic by revising the short story
briefly.
10. Review Questions
1. What did the sergeant do soon after the class?
2. How did Quelch answer to the questions of Sergeant?
11. Assignment
Teacher asks the students to write about their ambition, not exceeding 60 words.
