This lesson plan aims to help intermediate English students improve their speaking skills through storytelling. Students will be paired up and each given a picture representing a topic like family or travel. One student will tell a story about their picture for 10 minutes while their partner asks clarifying questions. Then the roles will switch and the listener will summarize the prior story. By generating stories, asking questions, and providing feedback, students will practice speaking authentically while building comprehension. The teacher will monitor the pairs to ensure students are actively engaging as instructed.
