Setting

The setting is in the various locations in Azeroth and other places located in the in game world
including the new locations introduce with the new expansion. The locations have various different
themes, some appearing magical and wondrous and very appealing, though some appear very evil,
dark scary places that you will likely find trouble in if you venture there when laying the game. The
sounds in the game are very relevant to the setting, they change throughout the game, depending
where you are in the in game world, sounds related to magic and battles are featured throughout the
game, as well as sounds of creatures, animals and characters,

Mood

The game gives off an interesting mood, by watching the video you feel that what’s happening is big
and clearly is going to have a big effect on the whole game. At some points the mood is calm but at
most the mood is uplifted and made to excite the viewer. The sounds reflect the mood very well, they
are relevant to what is happening in the game and what the mood is like.

Game genre

The game genre falls under many categories such as RPG, MMO and adventure. The sounds definitely
relate to the genre, as sounds related to magic and battles are often related to these genres.

Narrative

The narrative of the game is of a powerful character of the game describing what is occurring in the
World Of Warcraft, he has a very powerful voice and is perfect for narrating this trailer. The narrative
helps to set the scene of the game and to give you a feel of what the game is like and what you are to
expect.

Throughout the trailer there is powerful music used, clearly
created with an orchestra as the music you here is of a high
standard. The music recorded in real time, would have been

corresponds well with the video, when the mood is calm, so
is the music, when the mood is darker the music is too and
when the game is introducing some of the new features the
music becomes faster paced and as if to excite the viewer

a world where life is more like it is in our past, the music feels
