The study investigates the membrane stabilizing and antimicrobial activities of methanol extracts from Caladium bicolor and Chenopodium album. Results indicated that both plants effectively inhibited hemolysis of red blood cells and displayed antimicrobial properties against various pathogens, with C. bicolor showing the highest efficacy against Staphylococcus aureus. The findings support the traditional use of these plants in medicine and highlight their potential for developing new antimicrobial agents.
