Banquo are praised as valiant soldiers for Scotland. Just as in the play, Macbeth and Banquo come

Ishmael Beah s memoir, A long Way Gone, is very descriptive and has a very effective way of painting
a picture in the reader s mind of what he went through as a boy soldier. Throughout the memoir, Beah
used quite a few statements that impacted me emotionally, on a personal level. His vivid detail, word
choice and how personal, yet professional he kept his writing led me to understand how exactly the

At times, circumstances in life can unknowingly guide one on a path leading to a promising and
rewarding career. Thanks to my family and sister, I am here today. When I was four years old, my

In the world we live in now it has become easy to stereotype and create a single story about certain

Occasionally while walking down the streets, a homeless man is seated against a wall talking
gibberish or a lady is pushing a cart around aimlessly for hours. That same homeless man commonly
overlooked by the law and passerby has the potential to be just like the average middle class person,
working a steady job, having a family, and owning a home of his own but is unfortunately held back
by his mental illness. These people are unable to receive treatment due to having no family, money,
and because they don t impose any danger. On the other hand, less restrictive involuntary commitment
laws would allow for this person to enter a treatment facility at no cost, help them get better, and start
their life anew. For example, less restrictive involuntary commitment laws would provide housing and
proper treatment to those who cannot afford or aren t able to get the help they need on their own. By
eliminating the worry of finding housing, a patient can focus more on getting better mentally and
getting off the streets for good. Supporters of the housing first method agree that once homeless
