Evaluation Of A Research On Software And Tool Path Generation
2. Review of Literature Basically research in FDM can split into three categories 1. Novel applications
2. Materials 3. System improvements This systems improvements mostly based on software and tool
path generation, layer by layer algorithms and part orientation. The basic FDM process changed since
1980 s and it has three Cartesian linear actuators, extruder and temperature controls. To print different
materials multiple heads can be used. Research published on FDM extruder so far is very little.

Eastern Waves Inc. Case
OM 527
Edward Elric
Background
Eastern Waves Inc. is a steel manufacturing company located in Kuantan, Malaysia. In 2009, Eastern
Waves cash on hand was 188 ringgits (RM). In the previous year, they had an even lower cash balance
of RM188. Without cash, Eastern Waves are unable to purchase raw materials from local raw material
suppliers. Eastern currently has a joint venture relationship with Jinan amp; Iron Steel Corp., which
enables Eastern to buy scrap steel on credit from the Jinan plate mill operation. This scrap steel is
crucial to Eastern s success given the market price of the purchased raw steel billets. However, the
scrap steel is of a lower grade than the standard raw steel billet.

The protection of Malaysian upstream steel industry was affecting local downstream steel millers as
they were forced to buy from the more expensive domestic suppliers. The government are attempting
to promote cordial relationships between employers and employees and industrial harmony based on
social justice and equity. The minimum wage for an employee is RM1500 per month. The labor
regulations attempt to protect the domestic workers. As a result, the Malaysian industries still rely
heavily on cheap foreign workers. In order to reverse the dependency on foreign workers and promote
domestic workers, the government has recently imposed an annual level of RM125 1500 on each
foreign worker and limited their work stay to only two years per permit. Eastern Wave is a small steel
manufacturing company in Malaysia. It has several plants in Malaysia and China and produce various
downstream steel products such as angle steel, I beam, and round bar. The key material to angle steel
production is billets. When operating at full efficiency, the annual capacity of the angle steel
production is 10,000MT.
Current Issues
The Malaysian government s trade barrier on billets in order to protect the domestic billet producers
has greatly affected the bottom lines of the downstream steel manufacturing companies. The domestic
billet price is 15 25% higher than the international billet price. On the other hand, the government

Universal Set Of Codes In Health Care Case Study
1) Why is a universally accepted set of codes for diagnoses and procedures/interventions important? In
the prior weeks, I had noted that many health care professionals utilize many different methods of
practice, as well as implement a certain something to each of the medical cases that reflects that
clinician s style. No matter the endless routes to get to a diagnosis or the many diverse
recommendations of treatment for that diagnosis, codes are the same. The medical field having a
universal set of codes for diagnoses and procedures/interventions is very important because this set of
codes keeps all clinicians, medical facilities and insurance companies on the same page. From what I
read, the universal set of codes consists of two volumes

One Flew Over The Cuckoo s Psychological Analysis
You walk over to your hallway closet, a door that has been sealed shut for years. Slowly, you twist the
handle, and with each degree the knob turns, you find your hesitation strengthening. What lays behind
this door? you question, Do I want to deal with it? Yet you find your courage and pull open the closet.
Everything comes crashing down. Like a hallway closet, society pushes away challenging topics they
do not understand. How the mentally ill are treated falls under this category. Our government has
neglected to establish proper mental health care, despite passing multiple legislations that address the
issue. In 2008, President Barack Obama passed the 21st Century Cures Act, attempting to advance
mental health care. Although ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A total of 16% of inmates in the United States prisons are mentally ill (Ditton, Paula M.). People with
a mental illness are unable to control their actions, and are often times under the influence or are more
violent at the time of their arrest. Due to the mentally ill s uncontrollable acts, they receive, on
average, a 15 month longer prison sentence than a mentally stable prisoner (Ibid). Prisoners with a
mental illness have, in most cases, seen their symptoms grow worse. They oftentimes are not given
access to medication, or the social interactions their illness requires. In the novel, One Flew Over The
Cuckoo s Nest by Ken Kesey one of the main characters is, Talking about the difference between
hospital and jail, and McMurphy was saying how much better the hospital was, (Kesey 170). Some
prisons have adapted their accommodations to provide the mentally ill with better care, yet a prison
will never be fully capable of properly treating mental disorders. Prisons are equipped to handle
violence, not mental disorders. One negative aspect of the mentally ill entering the criminal justice
system is how there are, More mentally ill persons in jails and prisons than hospitals, for

Throughout time there was a large number of the world s most well known creators just delivered one
noteworthy innovation that earned recognition and established their status. Be that as it was, Garret

things; the gas mask and the street light, among many other things. Garrett Augustus Morgan was

and whites. Against all odds though Morgan was able to still be a very successful man throughout his
life. He came up with and protected the first chemical hair straightener, began his own sewing gear
repair business, and even started a daily paper called the Cleveland Call. In any case, Morgan s most
productive achievements came in his part as an inventor. He got a patent for the first gas mask creation
in 1914; however it wasn t until two years after the fact that the thought truly expanded. It wasn t until
a group of men laborers got stuck in a passage beneath Lake Erie after a blast, Morgan and a group of

Mongol Empire Dbq
Mongolian Empire pos. or neg.
Was the mongol empire a positive or negative impact on the history of Asia? I would say that the
mongol empire was positive, because they did a lot of good for asia like safety for those that are
peaceful and war with those that are not. My first quote is from document #6 The Mongols conquered
nearly all of Asia and achieved what all Inner Asian steppe empires dreamed of . I copied this quote
because this one talked about how the mongols conquered a lot of asia and that means they were all
working together to survive. My second quote is from document 7 Juzani wrote that no one except the

Great conquered 2,180,000 square miles. This shows that Genghis Khan and his empire was very
powerful. When you rule a very large empire it can be hard to control so the people that rebelled
against Genghis Khan were killed.
Document #2 talks about the people in charge. This document is positive because Genghis Khan had a
very large empire and if someone ran away the person in charge of them would be punished, so
Genghis Khan found a way to maintain a good order for example he would be in charge of maybe ten
people and those ten would be in charge of maybe another ten and so on.
Document #6 talks about people adapting to the Mongol Empire and the benefits of the silk industry.
The Mongols did a lot for china for example their silk, the people of china liked silk but the problem
was that the deliverers kept getting murdered and the silk stolen so the mongols lent a hand and
created the Silk Road where people could walk without any thought about thieves or murderers
coming for what they have because they feared Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan killed the people that

top of their work and knew the deadlines. On the other hand I can see how a Gantt chart could be a
vital part of a bigger business.

10. How well did your group stay within budget of $20 per person? Was this reasonable? How could
you have ensured you stayed within or under budget?
Our group did manage to stay mostly within the $60 but a bit of the items came out of our own
pockets. I think the $60 was a good amount but it was very difficult to stay within that amount. I think
to $60 was also good because it helped keep the groups on the same page. So a group with a lot of
money couldn t go over the top to much. It kept everyone on the same level.
We ensured that we stayed within the budget by shopping around and finding the cheapest price on all
the items we needed. Also we prioritise on what had to be bought and what we could source from
home.
11. Were you personally kept aware of your group s financial position throughout the production
phase? Explain.
Even though I was not the encharge of overseeing the finance side of things I did have a big role in it.
I calculated what was needed and where we could get the best price for it. I did the big shop and
sourced most of the items. The financial planner Charlotte mad sure she kept the whole group aware
of the budget. I would say that I was kept aware of the group s financial position.

Hydrolysis of Macromolecules Essay
Title: Hydrolysis of macromolecules
Abstract:
This lab was designed to teach the process of hydrolysis , a chemical reaction in which water is added
to a polymer, breaking its bonds and forming smaller molecules. A hydrogen cation and a hydroxide
anion (which once formed water) break apart and attach themselves to the ends of shorter polymers.
Hydrolysis plays an important role in our lives and in the lives of every living thing on earth. Living
organisms rely on digestion (hydrolysis) to convert food energy from polymers into monomers, which
are easier for our cells to absorb. This study was conducted to show how polysaccharides are broken
down by organisms to absorb nutrients through hydrolysis. We used different methods to ... Show

Tradeoffs Between Relational and Object-Oriented Database...
Discuss the tradeoffs between relational and object oriented database management systems
1) Stating Position
The object oriented DBMS is superior to the relational database on some specific counts, primarily
because it can satisfy the complex demands of the market today better than the any other. Secondly
while the relational data base stores data as tables, the object model stores data as objects and creates
associations. This can create a multiple set of attributes for each object such that the data base is more
flexible to the requirements that may be housed for different sets of data having both similar and
dissimilar characteristics. The paradigms then are developed for each set of common characteristics
and unique characteristics of the objects which is not possible in a relational database that has a very
rigid structure. (Bruegge, 2004)
Earlier the heterogeneous systems integration is a major issue. Therefore it has to be considered if the
system proposed is amenable to multiple platforms and will give the same results. There are many
applications available to enforce this, but it is to be borne in mind that in a data management system
many components have to be integrated with the system and the layering of these components
becomes critical. (Thuraisingham, 2001) But the requirements today have gone beyond the traditional
DBMS and the system is expected too seamlessly perform varied functions like tracking functions,
data analysis and reporting, vendor

The Effects Of Animal Testing On Human Society
The use of animal testing has been going on for a long time. Although there have been many cases
where people try to stop it or try to convince people that it is wrong in today s society it is still
happening all over the world. This research paper will talk about how in today s society is racing to
discover cures for diseases. How humans have made advancements in the world we have also
established the scientific evolution. By doing so our ethics and morals have failed to progress. The
knowledge that we gain throughout the years is remarkable but it is our responsibility to use it wisely
and ethically. We heartlessly torture and kill animals that we consider lesser beings. For something as
simple as eye makeup hundreds of animals are tortured and blinded by test that are being done to them
in laboratories where they are hardly being fed, often forced to live in filth, sometimes they even
remove their vocal cords to keep them quiet. We pour cosmetic products into their eye and body parts
to determine if it will have a harmful effect on humans. Animal s posses the same emotions and
feelings as humans and without any care they are subjected to pain. Mankind fails to give animals
respect they deserve, they are treated with lifeless. Something that needs to be changed.
Animal testing has been going on for centuries and it will probably continue that way if we don t share
the truth. Humans do not think that animals are on the same level as them so they treat them horribly

Ode To A Nightingale And John Keats Analysis
The verse of John Keats is loaded with individual investigations of profound and serious emotions and
reflections on life. His sonnets concern an assortment of topics, for example, time everlasting and the
progression of time and the want to discover perceptual quality amidst constant change. From
pursuing his verse I trust that these topics are unmistakably vital to Keats, as they can every now and
again be viewed as the establishments on which quite a bit of his verse is based. Another essential part
of Keats verse is his utilization of rich, dynamic symbolism, regularly identified with nature, which is
utilized to give noteworthy bits of knowledge into life. In this exposition, I will talk about the above
topics, and how I reacted to Keats treatment of them. The sonnets on which I will base this paper are,
Ode to a Nightingale , When I Have Fears That I May Cease To Be. While perusing some of his verse,
it appears to me that Keats was exceptionally worried about beautiful motivation and desire, and
comparably, the creative energy and it s quality as methods for getting away life. At the point when
Keats depicts his feelings of trepidation of death before he can completely express every one of that
his mind holds When I have fears that I may cease to be, before my pen has gleaned my teeming brain,
before high pilèd books in character, hold like rich garners the full ripened grain . , this shows to me

Pop, Country, Rap, Or Classical Music
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and
charm and gaiety to life and to everything. ~Plato. Plato was one of the more highly regarded

one of the more relevant and profound to today s society. Music can be described in so many ways.
Even more than in Plato s time because he probably wasn t busting rhymes in a rap battle every other

The idea of rap is all about music that is not understandable and confusing. The ultimate sound of rap
resounds as garbled and electronic. The idea of rap revolves around lack of musical talent and relying

sound of pop still hints at the electronic nature of rap, but it differs in the fact that it is understandable.
It still lacks the true instrumental sound that country and classical entertain. The pop usually has
strong vocals and good harmony, but it retains the computerized sound that is similar to rap. Moving
on, Classical has a simple, yet complex sound. It has lost all of the complex electronic sound that rap
and pop retain. This genre falls short in the category of understanding. Especially when teachers play
it too loudly during a test. Although it usually has the smoothest sound, the vocals can sometimes be
too long and confusing. Finally, Country has the best sound out of these four type of music. The genre
of Country music has a complex mix of instruments without the complex computerization. It also is

meaning and depth to the story. Even the most subdued symbols can hold a very important meaning to

The first time the green light is introduced in the novel is also the first time Nick notices Gatsby. The

seem to be out of reach. His longing for Daisy is also a longing for the past. When Gatsby desires

Biofuel Powered Automobiles
Biofuel powered automobiles are an example of humans developing new technology to improve life.
Automobiles and plants, which are both capable of being engineered by humans, have immensely
impacted the United States of America and the world. The connection of automobiles and plants
demonstrates the significance of human innovation and ingenuity. One connection between
automobiles and plants is their ability to be engineered. Automobiles have been engineered with
several different engines throughout time. Electric, steam, and combustion powered engines were all
attempted during the early development of automobiles. Eventually, the combustion engine was
proven to be the easiest to mass produce and at the time, the most efficient. Automobiles ... Show

Automobiles have had an enormous impact on the entire world and all of humanity, but the United
States exemplifies this the best. Although the production and distribution of automobiles started in
Europe, Ford Motor Company expanded the business exponentially in the U.S. The invention and
improvement of automobiles allows individuals to travel. The railroad allows people to travel long
distances, but the automobile allows people to individually travel where they want at any time. It also
provides quicker daily travel which allows people to spend more time enjoying other leisure activities.
The automobile has revolutionized modern civilization by providing a convenient mean of
transportation. Plants have also revolutionized the world, and the U.S. exemplifies this. The United
States had an agrarian based economy that grew significantly during the late nineteenth century and
early twentieth century. The inventions of agricultural tools accelerated the planting and harvesting of
plants. This led to the employment of many more people, the use of much more land, and a rapid
population increase. These benefits of the agricultural growth helped revolutionize the U.S. and
expand it into a major world power. Human engineering of automobiles and plants has been
instrumental to the development of the United States and the

Mao Zedong Of The Soviet Union
Throughout the course of China s vast history, there is not a more controversial, internationally
criticized and locally praised ruler than that of Chairman Mao Zedong. When Chairman Mao took
control of the Chinese government as leader of the newly established Communist Party, he was most
notably commended for helping unite China after years of civil war. After the previous regime left the
country nearly bankrupt, Mao faced the challenge of rebuilding China s economy, and he believed that
it could only be accomplished through true Communism, modeled after the Soviet Union. Mao s
vision was highly approved by the people initially as it reinvented the working class and gave more
power to peasants, but it was not long before the country ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, nearly half of the arable land in China was divided amongst peasants. Still, Chairman Mao was
concerned with establishing the country as an international competitor and needed to drastically
increase the industrialization of China, which in turn required a massive increase in production from
the agricultural industry. Thus, in 1953, Chairman Mao encouraged peasant farmers to begin
cooperatively farming in which a few families from the same village pooled together their resources to
have a larger operation. China s reinvented production system enabled peasants to produce larger
harvests, which allowed these cooperatives to become more diversified operations that could now
raise livestock or non grain crops. Because the peasants were able to share their knowledge, tools,
machinery, and the workload, this method of farming proved to be highly successful. Unfortunately,
this type of production agriculture did not last long. Just a few years later, Chairman Mao began to
completely socialize the agricultural system to where it was no longer the people s land but practically
the government s entirely. China established the collectivization process or the commune system in
which people gave up all their animals and tools, and were required to send a large majority of the
grain they produced to the government. The

Egocertervilles Book Report
Emily s Travels
It was dusk as I walked along the oceans edge, the air is humid and tastes salty. All of my
surroundings are hazy. I do not know where I am or how I came to be here, yet my heart rate is slow
and steady. I see a dimly lit light off in the distance, so I decide to go investigate. As I draw closer I
realize it is a lamppost situated beside a boardwalk to a small town. As I looked down I found the most
peculiar tracks in the sand, it resembled the shapes of a humans hand. Curiously, I ventured into the
quaint little village. I followed the boardwalk, it took me nearly all night to find the town. By
daybreak life in this strange land was in full swing. There was an archway with the word

crawled around on their hands and knees because nobody was willing to stand up for what they
believe in. Their eyes were mirroring the desires of their hearts, so in the man s eyes when I saw
himself in his eyes, he was the center of his own world. When I tripped of the woman who had he

Comment and Response to Texting and Writing by Michaela...
Comment and Response to Texting and Writing by Michaela Cullington After reading Texting and
Writing, by Michaela Cullington, I do not agree with many of her viewpoints. Cullington argues that
texting does not affect a students writing. Textspeak, the abbreviation and shortening of words like
used when writing a text message, does affect the way a student writes because they use the
abbreviations, and their writings tend to lack punctuation. When a writer uses excessive abbreviations
on a regular basis they can get stuck in the writer s head causing them to use them in all of their
writings. Cullington did make good points of her own opinion on texting and writing in her piece, but
I disagree with her and believe that texting and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Cullington recalled a few examples that teachers found while reading papers, 2 instead of to, ; gr8,
instead of great, ; dat, in place of that, ; g2g, for got to go, ; hbu, instead of how about you, ; cuz, to
replace because, ; and wut, for what, . Textspeak is a dangerous way to write, and once a writer learns
and gets used to writing that way, writing papers for school becomes more and more difficult. A
common acronym is LOL which is an abbreviation for laugh out loud. The abbreviated for LOL would
not be acceptable for an academic paper. Our current generation needs to pay more attention when
writing, and to use correct spelling and not use acronyms to shorten their written ideas. Writing
College, Writing Life s article Learning the Language by Perri Klass talks about how some
professions require abbreviations, which is one of the few times it is accecptable. Abbrevaitons can be
helpful and an easy way to write a few words in just a few letters. Teachers do not like abbreviations
because the writer tends to assume the reader knows what each acronym means, the paper should be
and enjoyable read, not a confusing puzzle. While writing a paper for school teachers do not approve
of abbreviation and acronyms, the writer should just take his or her time to write our each word
correctly. Michaela Cullington believes that texting

Saint Patrick and St Patrick s Day

Part 1: The process of Canonization is the process that a person must go through to become a saint.
This began around the tenth century. Pope John Paul II changed the process in 1983. Here is the
process. The first requirement is that the person must be dead for at least five years. They must be a
very holy person and a servant of God. Then the person s local church members must start a petition
to request that this person should become a saint. The Bishop will look into this person s life and
decide whether or not to pass this person on to the next step to the Pope. If he does a couple of
theologians will look more deeply into this person s life and evaluate the person. People who are
martyrs will automatically become a saint because they should amazing faith and holiness. Many of
the first saints were martyrs because they were persecuting Christians in the time of Jesus and a long
time after the ascension. The next step is to have at least two miracles credited to his or her name. If
they only have one miracle they will be named blessed, just like Blessed Edmund Rice. When they get
two miracles and they will in fact become a recognized saint in the Catholic Church.

What is mass customization?
In the fierce competitive environment where customers expect the products they purchased are unique
and customized, and the price should be as low as mass produced items (Radder amp; Louw 1999).
Therefore, more companies realize that a profound change in production procedures and flexibility of
structures are needed to meet the challenges. While Mass customization (MC) has provided an
opportunity to cope with varied customer needs, such as Dell computer, Daimler smart car, Swatch,
IBM, Proctor and Gamble and Hewlett Packard, leading a successful business practices by
accommodating specific customer requirements (Selladurai 2004). Originally, the notion of MC was
coined by Stan Davis (1987) in his book Future Shock , which defines MC as a fundamental paradox
allowing firms to produce as various goods as possible based on volatile customer needs, but in a cost
effective way.
The concept of MC is to integrate flexible production processes with information systems and
organizational structures within a supply network, delivering tailored products or services to satisfy
the end customer as well as reaching reasonable costs (Frutos amp; Borenstein 2004; Silveira,
Borenstein amp; Fogliatto 2000; Yao amp; Liu 2009). In other words, MC is characterized as a
strategy to provide customers with what they want, anytime and anywhere with any way, from which
companies can gain a competitive

Dealing with Childhood Diabetes
Childhood diabetes is a disease where the pancreas is faulty and cannot produce insulin to regulate
blood sugar levels. The cause of the disease is unknown ,it cannot be prevented, and there is no cure.
Additionally, it is the most common pediatric illness. Childhood diabetes affects families suddenly,
causing anxiety about treatment, denial, loss of identity, bad habits, and worries about how others
think of them. These negative effects can be lessened by education, support and care.
Patients or their parents (if they are very young) are expected to test their blood sugar regularly and
give themselves (or their children) insulin shots accordingly. High quality education is crucial,

Botox Injection In Muscles
The main goal for Botox is to block the chemical signals that are sent to cause muscle contraction.
Botox is injected in small doses into targeted muscles where there are unwanted wrinkles. With this
chemical block the muscles can no longer tighten and skin will flattens. This will give the main goal
of having less wrinkled and smoother appearance that some people desire. Botox injection works by
weakening or paralyzing certain targeted muscles and nerves in the area affected. The exact area that
the Botox paralyzes is right at the begging of muscle contraction called neuromuscular junction.
During regular muscle contraction there are a series of steps that go along with it. The first section of a
series of step for muscle contraction, and where Botox is targeting, is called the neuromuscular
junction. The signal will start from being collected in the dendrites down to the cell body, which then
sends the message down the hillock passing through the axon. With the neuromuscular junction it will
then get that nerve impulse and transmits a message down the axon to the terminal. When that
happens the terminal opens the calcium channel to allow the calcium to enter and to activate ... Show

The Idea of Terrorism
The world changed on September 11, 2001 when hijackers from a group called Al Qaeda sent planes
into New York City s Twin Towers and the Pentagon in Washington DC. In total, 3,000 people died,
the majority citizens and not all from the United States, but at least 90 countries. Responding to this
act was a global War on Terrorism, which resulted in an invasion of Afghanistan, the U.S. Patriot Act,
and several civil and social changes in American society. More than anything else, though, U.S.
security policy came under intense scrutiny and a new Cabinet Level Department was formed,
Homeland Security. Congress also reacted by authorizing the use of military force against any
individual, group, or State that participated or had any relation to the 9/11 attacks. The changes made
to the American security system because of 9/11 were vast, and affected citizens at home and abroad,
with certain groups fearful that civil liberties were now less important than security. In fact, the Patriot
Act provides governmental agencies with extraordinary legal means to conduct surveillance from the
Internet, emails, telephones, and other communication devices; to search and gather data, perform
analysis, and act without a Court warrant if there is a threat present. The technology known as
carnivore is an example of this. Carnivore sifts through millions of emails and electronic

Narrative Essay About Moving To Canada
As I walked to the parking lot where my mom had arrived to pick me up from school, my sister ran
out of the car, ran towards me and yelled excitedly, We re going to Canada! Having grown up in
Kuwait for my whole life of 15 years, I could hardly believe my sister s words. Going to Canada! I
had only been out of the country twice, each time just to vacation and visit family in the Philippines
where both my parents are from. I had always imagined what life would be like outside of Kuwait,
and now it was finally going to be real. My 15 year old self was devastated We were leaving the only
home I had known for 15 years. It did not take long for my sisters excitement to die when we realized
that we would be leaving our friends and everything we ve ever known and not returning for a long
time. Life in Kuwait for 15 years was comfortable and we were more than financially stable. Moving
to Canada without a job offer in place meant that we would have to start from the beginning all over
again. Goodbyes were hard but my parents encouraged us to see the joys of moving to a place where
we could start over and become accepted citizens of a country. Arriving in Canada, I experienced the
biggest culture shock of my life. Vancouver, BC was cold, wet, and loud. I had thought adjusting
would be relatively easy; I spoke English with a slight accent but I was very shy that it confused some
of the other kids to think I couldn t speak English. I did not understand the culture, which took a

Fluellen notifies Henry that he shall soon to be hanged for robbing a church. The reason for this for
his swift execution is because Henry gave a speech mandating his soldiers conduct themselves in the

In Donald Hedrick s essay War is Mud: Branagh s Dirty Harry V and the Types of Political Ambiguity
he is upset with the way politics is read in film. His reaction was generated from an essay written by
Elayne Tobin in which he finds her to be disillusioned. He believes she became disillusioned by the
film community always trying to say film exposes some bad faith, and Hedrick is hesitant to so
strongly believe Hollywood is really trying to represent the agendas of the film community. As an
example of how a film can be read for political ideas he examines Kenneth Branagh s Henry V. In the
first section Mud he looks at the use of and prevalence of dirt. He claims it has more of a function than
just making King Henry look like a tactical genius for defeating the heavily armored French on a
swampy muddy field. He believes Branagh s use of dirt makes the film darker and the darkness
harkens to the character of the real Henry V. He goes on to explain how he his ruthlessness at the
Battle of Agincourt. His ruthlessness has been looked at as being a ruthless emotional act or that it
could have been a strategy for the outnumbered English. The mud calls into question the character of
the King. In American Clean he examines what kind of character King Henry is in Branagh s version.
He established he is the genuinely holy man with the capacity to be ruthless. The dirt is used to
enhance the feel of a huge power continually being held in check... He argues that the meaning

Narrative Essay On A Mouse In The Mouse
Me and my friends just found a dead mouse in our classroom, and one of them suggested we hide it in
Mrs Pratchett s jars of sweets. I was given the honor of putting the mouse in the jar. Before I did so, I
made a last minute decision to turn the tables of our secret plan, because I would have to face risky
consequences. Once we reached there, I ve started planning my own mouse plot by tricking my
friends into thinking that I put the mouse in, when in reality I hadn t. We barged in the sweet shop, and
we saw Mrs Pratchett s dissatisfied as usual. She grumbled because we barged in her sweet shop like a
pack of wild cattle. After that, she went to the bathroom, making it the perfect time to put the mouse
in. I told my friends to wait outside so just in case she walks out, she won t be expecting any
tomfoolery. This was just step 1 of my scheme, and a wide, smug grin spread across my face as my
plan came together. When she came out of the bathroom, I asked her if I could go there for a while.
She stared at me for a full minute of silence, wiping the soot of her chin, and said I could, but I had to
clean up afterwards. Drooping my arms, I headed to the bathroom and started desperately flushing the
mouse in. Mrs Pratchett heard all of the flushing, and she came to the door to see what was going on.
It was a miracle that her bathroom door had a lock option on it, because if there wasn t , my plan could
have been a total bust. I washed my hands twice to get the mouse s germs off my hands (the water
there wasn t very sanitary!), and came out like nothing unusual happened. I was starting to get a
jumpy feeling about how my mouse plot was running so smoothly (though I can t really call it a
mouse plot anymore because I threw away the mouse.) I told my friends to come inside, and they all
have the same jumpy feeling like I did, with big, smiling faces on the prank. I was chuckling quietly to
see the look on their faces when they realize who I really pranked. I whispered to Thwaites that the
mouse was in the candy corn jar, so he asked for a pound of them. I even pulled out a few bucks to
emphasize the prank. She unscrewed the jar and she didn t find any trace of mouse in there. Confused,

An example of this would be if a person is driving down the road and sees someone stranded they
decided to stop and help with no expectations of being repaid for their kindness. A form of
Teleological system is Utilitarianism. Utilitarianism is where the good outcome is determined by the
consequences of the action. Utilitarianism believes that you should always act to produce the greatest
possible outcome of good and evil to everyone. The other five major ethical systems are Religion,
Natural Law, The Ethics of Virtue, The Ethics of Care and Egoism. To first start off Religion is the
most used source for individual ethics. Religion gives people a sense of knowing exactly what is right
and wrong because there are guidelines to religion. For example there are the Ten Commandments that
a majority of the religions use to set a standard or guideline to how they should live their life. Natural
Law has no ties to any religious figures but does have a universal set of things that are right and wrong
and close to those of the religious beliefs. Natural Law is where what is natural in the world is what
sets morality, and that what is natural is good. An example would be that humans socialize and that
leads to good deeds and that is natural and moral. Natural Law and Religion are a Deontological
system because there are some things that come naturally to humans that may look like a good act it
may have

Riding The Black Cockatoo Thesis THESIS STATEMENT Exploring the multilayered notion of rediscoveries is as complex as discovery through personal identity, values and cultures having unforeseen outcomes Simon Nasht s documentary Frank Hurley The Man Who Made History (2004) John D novel Riding The Black Cockatoo ( IDEA 1 John Dallis compelling memoir, recounts both his efforts and the horrific mistreatment Australian Aborigines suffered at the hands of whites and reflects on his racial attitudes as a child and adolescent. Riding The Black Cockatoo takes the readers on an emotional discovery, whilst fascinatingly reveals the transformative and healing power of reconciliation. Riding the black cockatoo effectively manages to capture the author s changing perspective of Aboriginal society. The compelling story of an aboriginal skull resting on Danalis family s mantle piece during his childhood. The novel beginning with the exposure of a secret in his indigenous studies class, no words were exchanged just facial expressions of utter disgust and horror. His classmates reaction had an impacting and brutal effect on John Danalis setting him on a journey of discovery. imperative to atone for his former ignorance and prejudices and to return the skull to his Wamba Wamba ... Hurley s ignorant side is exposed when he disregards their culture, rituals and objects by touching and moving their ancestors jaw. This ancestral skull is symbolic of protection. The camera gradually zooms in on images of the skulls. • 3. Evaluation Of A Research On Software And Tool Path Generation 2. Review of Literature Basically research in FDM can split into three categories 1. Novel applications 2. Materials 3. System improvements This systems improvements mostly based on software and tool path generation, layer by layer algorithms and part orientation. The basic FDM process changed since 1980 s and it has three Cartesian linear actuators, extruder and temperature controls. To print different materials multiple heads can be used. Research published on FDM extruder so far is very little. Adaptive filament deposition (AFD) and planar layer deposition (PLD) are the two patented techniques Tseng has for the freeform fabrication of metals and ceramics AFD uses a conical spindle which is kept inside a deposition head it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As the current limitations imposed on constant diameter and shape nozzle, so authors focused more research on variable shape and diameter nozzles. 3. Errors due to Circular Nozzle In a horizantal plane, the axisymetric properties of circular noxzle makes FDM more convenient to use. But the angles drwan from the nozzle are eual to the radii or more . Figure 2. cross sectional Geometrical error by circular nozzle. The error is obtained by the following Equation: Error = r/sin (θ/2) r Where r = radius of the nozzle and θ = angle of cross sectional geometry. The Following figure is drawn between the intended angle made by nozzle in digress to the error in geometry. From the graph it gives clear idea that when the geometrical angles are larger in any geometry the errors are less. This illustrates as we go to the larger angles the error is going to be reduced.the three lines in the graph describe mutiple units of radius (say 1,2,3...). Figure 3. Graph showing minimum geometrical error of an angle printed with a circular nozzle. 3.1 Limitations of Circular Nozzle It is difficult to draw sharp external corners since we are using circular nozzle there would be radius equivalent to that of the nozzle at any corner or edge. • 4. Essay Mid Term Case Eastern Waves Inc. Case OM 527 Edward Elric Background Eastern Waves Inc. is a steel manufacturing company located in Kuantan, Malaysia. In 2009, Eastern Waves cash on hand was 188 ringgits (RM). In the previous year, they had an even lower cash balance of RM188. Without cash, Eastern Waves are unable to purchase raw materials from local raw material suppliers. Eastern currently has a joint venture relationship with Jinan amp; Iron Steel Corp., which enables Eastern to buy scrap steel on credit from the Jinan plate mill operation. This scrap steel is crucial to Eastern s success given the market price of the purchased raw steel billets. However, the scrap steel is of a lower grade than the standard raw steel billet. • 5. Universal Set Of Codes In Health Care Case Study 1) Why is a universally accepted set of codes for diagnoses and procedures/interventions important? In the prior weeks, I had noted that many health care professionals utilize many different methods of practice, as well as implement a certain something to each of the medical cases that reflects that clinician s style. Hydrolysis plays an important role in our lives and in the lives of every living thing on earth. • 11. Tradeoffs Between Relational and Object-Oriented Database... Discuss the tradeoffs between relational and object oriented database management systems 1) Stating Position The object oriented DBMS is superior to the relational database on some specific counts, primarily because it can satisfy the complex demands of the market today better than the any other. Secondly while the relational data base stores data as tables, the object model stores data as objects and creates associations. This can create a multiple set of attributes for each object such that the data base is more flexible to the requirements that may be housed for different sets of data having both similar and dissimilar characteristics. The paradigms then are developed for each set of common characteristics and unique characteristics of the objects which is not possible in a relational database that has a very rigid structure. (Bruegge, 2004) Earlier the heterogeneous systems integration is a major issue. Therefore it has to be considered if the system proposed is amenable to multiple platforms and will give the same results. There are many applications available to enforce this, but it is to be borne in mind that in a data management system many components have to be integrated with the system and the layering of these components becomes critical. (Thuraisingham, 2001) But the requirements today have gone beyond the traditional DBMS and the system is expected too seamlessly perform varied functions like tracking functions, data analysis and reporting, vendor ... This research paper will talk about how in today s society is racing to discover cures for diseases. How humans have made advancements in the world we have also established the scientific evolution. By doing so our ethics and morals have failed to progress. The knowledge that we gain throughout the years is remarkable but it is our responsibility to use it wisely and ethically. After the previous regime left the country nearly bankrupt, Mao faced the challenge of rebuilding China s economy, and he believed that it could only be accomplished through true Communism, modeled after the Soviet Union. Thus, in 1953, Chairman Mao encouraged peasant farmers to begin cooperatively farming in which a few families from the same village pooled together their resources to have a larger operation. China s reinvented production system enabled peasants to produce larger harvests, which allowed these cooperatives to become more diversified operations that could now raise livestock or non grain crops. Because the peasants were able to share their knowledge, tools, machinery, and the workload, this method of farming proved to be highly successful. • 32. Botox Injection In Muscles The main goal for Botox is to block the chemical signals that are sent to cause muscle contraction. Botox is injected in small doses into targeted muscles where there are unwanted wrinkles. With this chemical block the muscles can no longer tighten and skin will flattens. This will give the main goal of having less wrinkled and smoother appearance that some people desire. Botox injection works by weakening or paralyzing certain targeted muscles and nerves in the area affected. The exact area that the Botox paralyzes is right at the begging of muscle contraction called neuromuscular junction. During regular muscle contraction there are a series of steps that go along with it. The first section of a series of step for muscle contraction, and where Botox is targeting, is called the neuromuscular junction. The signal will start from being collected in the dendrites down to the cell body, which then sends the message down the hillock passing through the axon. With the neuromuscular junction it will then get that nerve impulse and transmits a message down the axon to the terminal. • 33. The Idea of Terrorism The world changed on September 11, 2001 when hijackers from a group called Al Qaeda sent planes into New York City s Twin Towers and the Pentagon in Washington DC. In total, 3,000 people died, the majority citizens and not all from the United States, but at least 90 countries. Responding to this act was a global War on Terrorism, which resulted in an invasion of Afghanistan, the U.S. Patriot Act, and several civil and social changes in American society. More than anything else, though, U.S. security policy came under intense scrutiny and a new Cabinet Level Department was formed, Homeland Security. Congress also reacted by authorizing the use of military force against any individual, group, or State that participated or had any relation to the 9/11 attacks. The changes made to the American security system because of 9/11 were vast, and affected citizens at home and abroad, with certain groups fearful that civil liberties were now less important than security. In fact, the Patriot Act provides governmental agencies with extraordinary legal means to conduct surveillance from the Internet, emails, telephones, and other communication devices; to search and gather data, perform analysis, and act without a Court warrant if there is a threat present. The technology known as carnivore is an example of this. Carnivore sifts through millions of emails and electronic communications to find keywords that might indicate potential terrorist threats. Narrative Essay About Moving To Canada As I walked to the parking lot where my mom had arrived to pick me up from school, my sister ran out of the car, ran towards me and yelled excitedly, We re going to Canada! Having grown up in Kuwait for my whole life of 15 years, I could hardly believe my sister s words. Going to Canada! I had only been out of the country twice, each time just to vacation and visit family in the Philippines where both my parents are from. I had always imagined what life would be like outside of Kuwait, and now it was finally going to be real. My 15 year old self was devastated We were leaving the only home I had known for 15 years. It did not take long for my sisters excitement to die when we realized that we would be leaving our friends and everything we ve ever known and not returning for a long time. Life in Kuwait for 15 years was comfortable and we were more than financially stable. Moving to Canada without a job offer in place meant that we would have to start from the beginning all over again. Goodbyes were hard but my parents encouraged us to see the joys of moving to a place where we could start over and become accepted citizens of a country. The reason for this for his swift execution is because Henry gave a speech mandating his soldiers conduct themselves in the highest of manners: We give express charge, that in our marches through the country, there be nothing compelled from the villages, nothing taken but paid for, [and] none of the French upbraided or abused in disdainful language; ... • 37. Narrative Essay On A Mouse In The Mouse Me and my friends just found a dead mouse in our classroom, and one of them suggested we hide it in Mrs Pratchett s jars of sweets. I was given the honor of putting the mouse in the jar. Before I did so, I made a last minute decision to turn the tables of our secret plan, because I would have to face risky consequences. Once we reached there, I ve started planning my own mouse plot by tricking my friends into thinking that I put the mouse in, when in reality I hadn t. We barged in the sweet shop, and we saw Mrs Pratchett s dissatisfied as usual. She grumbled because we barged in her sweet shop like a pack of wild cattle. After that, she went to the bathroom, making it the perfect time to put the mouse in. I told my friends to wait outside so just in case she walks out, she won t be expecting any tomfoolery. This was just step 1 of my scheme, and a wide, smug grin spread across my face as my plan came together. When she came out of the bathroom, I asked her if I could go there for a while. She stared at me for a full minute of silence, wiping the soot of her chin, and said I could, but I had to clean up afterwards. Drooping my arms, I headed to the bathroom and started desperately flushing the mouse in. Mrs Pratchett heard all of the flushing, and she came to the door to see what was going on. It was a miracle that her bathroom door had a lock option on it, because if there wasn t , my plan could have been a total bust. I washed my hands twice to get the mouse s germs off my hands (the water there wasn t very sanitary!), and came out like nothing unusual happened. I was starting to get a jumpy feeling about how my mouse plot was running so smoothly (though I can t really call it a mouse plot anymore because I threw away the mouse.) I told my friends to come inside, and they all have the same jumpy feeling like I did, with big, smiling faces on the prank. I was chuckling quietly to see the look on their faces when they realize who I really pranked. I whispered to Thwaites that the mouse was in the candy corn jar, so he asked for a pound of them. Utilitarianism believes that you should always act to produce the greatest possible outcome of good and evil to everyone. The other five major ethical systems are Religion, Natural Law, The Ethics of Virtue, The Ethics of Care and Egoism. To first start off Religion is the most used source for individual ethics. Religion gives people a sense of knowing exactly what is right and wrong because there are guidelines to religion. For example there are the Ten Commandments that a majority of the religions use to set a standard or guideline to how they should live their life. Natural Law has no ties to any religious figures but does have a universal set of things that are right and wrong and close to those of the religious beliefs. Natural Law is where what is natural in the world is what sets morality, and that what is natural is good.
