set the permissions for the files stated in the readme section of the forum software. When this is done,
the web developer can create a link on the main page to the forum. When this is done the developer
can then navigate in their browser to the location of the forum as noted in the forum software readme.
The install page will come up and ask for the database name user and password. After that it will ask a

the theme files of the forum to make it match the look and feel of the website. Now that the roles of
the personnel involved must play, we can go over the steps of the development cycle to make sure
everything is done in a modular fashion.

Circles Of Context
Usually when I am told to read a verse in the Bible, I just read that verse and using the information
that specific verse provided, I take a guess at what that verse is saying or explaining. Little did I know
that because I was reading just one verse alone, I was probably misinterpreting it. The circles of
context were invented to help with this problem. We first look at the immediate text, then we can look
at the rest of the book, now we can look at the introductions of this book and others by the same
author. Then, we can look throughout the same testament to see if any other information relates, and
finally we can look into other testaments. By understanding the circles of context, we have a better
and deeper understanding of the Bible ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
John 12: 46 carries the same theme of connecting with Christ as John 15. The verse states, I have
come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. John 14: 20
also contains this theme. The verse says, In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in
me, and I in you. Chapter 17 verse 10 of the book of John summarizes just how connected we are to
him. It says, All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in

DETECTION IN CONSTRUCTION SITES INTRODUCTION AND JUSTIFICATION
Constructions sites are considered to be one of the most dangerous land based work sectors on earth,
with accidents and injuries considered to be an inevitable. Accidents in the construction industry hurt
the moral of workers and contractors as well as being costly for all parties involved. Various safety
measures have been implemented to reduce the occurrence of injuries as well as minimising risk of
injury when the accidents happen, in an effort to transition the construction industry to a zero injury
work environment. In Australia the concerted effort has already begun with mandatory safety training

It is plausible that higher rates of PPE compliance would result in lower rates of serious injury and
fatalities in the construction industry to move towards a zero injury workplace. Different types of PPE
like hard hats, safety vest, steel caped boots and hearing protection have been made mandatory in
work sites around Australia. Even though these restrictions have been applied to the field, many
incidents have occurred where workers have had insufficient PPE resulting in potentially avoidable
fatalities. PPE enforcement is a significant part of a supervisor s role at construction sites, however
due to other responsibilities and tight work schedules supervisors are not capable of monitoring each
and every worker on the site at all times. To overcome this deficiency, various automated solutions
have been researched for the detection of safety equipment. To support this role, a video based
monitoring tool is being developed that will alert the foreman to any non compliance taking place in
the site. The main focus of this project is the development of a real time video monitoring system
using the latest computer vision techniques. The video with be captured by a camera set up in

Essay about Anorexia
According to the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, there are over
24 Million people that suffer from eating disorders. What is an eating disorder though? The simple
definition of this disease is that a person exhibits abnormal eating behaviors. There are many different
variations to these disorders but they share many of the same characteristics such as: fear of becoming
obese, obsession with thinness, food, weight, and even calorie counting. Of the many cases though
what is the main cause of this disease? Can it be psychological, an environmental, or a biological
factor? In this paper I will explore some of the reasons why people develop eating disorders and how
it all factors into a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The three main symptoms are an excessive amount of intake of food accompanied by self induced
vomiting, fasting and/or obsessive or compulsive exercise, and extreme concern with body weight and
shape. The recurrent binge and purge cycles can damage the entire digestive system and can lead to
electrolyte and chemical imbalances in the body that affect the heart and other major organ functions.
Some health consequences of bulimia nervosa are irregular heartbeats, possibly heart failure and
death, inflammation and possible rupture of the esophagus from frequent vomiting, tooth decay and
staining from stomach acids released, irregular bowel movements and constipation. People struggling
with bulimia nervosa usually appear to be of average body weight (National). Physical appearance is
not the only issue that this disease faces in people. They also face problems with psychological,
environmental and biological issues in life. Since there is no clear way to tell which of these factors is
the culprit of causing eating disorders, each factor needs to be looked at. Environmental factors is

what makes a person associate thinness with beauty? Many people are believing that the media has
much to do with how people view themselves. The media has promoted the image of thinness through

Flappers In The 1920s Essay
During the Roaring Twenties, women gained more rights, and this allowed them to roam out of society
s standard of a woman. This was a time where women bobbed their hair, ventured out to speakeasies
and dared to shorten their hemlines (Jamie). These types of women were known as flappers. A studies
professor, Rosanna Hertz, said that flappers were rebels, and fashion played an extensive role in
allowing them to express their freedom. Women were supposed to wear clothes that covered their legs,
even [if] flapper dresses were knee length, it was still enough to raise eyebrows (Jamie). A New York
designer named Regina Kobler was a woman of this time period who designed these new styles of
clothing. Her work is showcased in the small show at

Volcano, Volcanic Volcano And Volcanic Ash
A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary mass object that allows lava, volcanic ash, and gases
to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. The Earth s crust is made up of huge slabs called
plates, which fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. The friction caused by the plates moving from time to
time results in earthquakes and volcanic eruptions near the edges of the plates.
There are many different types of volcanoes. (Volcanoes: Principal Types of Volcanoes) The most
common are Cinder volcanoes. This type of volcano occurs when particles and blobs of solid lava are
emitted from a single vent in the center. As the gas charged lava is blown violently into the air it
breaks into small fragments that solidify and fall as cinders around the vent to form an oval cone. A
good example of a cinder cone is the Paricutin Volcano in Mexico that grew out of a corn field in
1943. The eruptions continued for 9 years and built the cone to a height of 424 meters.
Another type of volcano is the Composite volcanoes also known as Stratovolcano. These are steep
sided volcanoes composed of many layers of volcanic rocks, usually made from high viscosity lava,
ash and rock debris. Famous examples of composite cones are Mayon Volcano in Philippines, Mount
Fuji in Japan, and Mount Rainier in U.S.A.
Then we have, shield volcanoes that are shaped like a warrior s shield in the middle with long gentle
slopes made by basaltic lava flows. This is very fluid lava, usually from multiple vents

Panther And Fire Analysis
1. A black 1973 Dodge Charger races down the decrepit crime ridden streets of Fittensburg. The car
parks near the town s bar and a black woman who just goes by the name Panther, steps out. Scars are
illustrated on a face that has been through the meat grinder of numerous battles. Yet, Panther wears
them as if they are her badges of honor. Panther wears a leather jacket with Kevlar built in. Other
people might think that it has seen better days, since sections are sloppily stitched together and bullet
holes punctuate the outfit. The jacket hardly hangs on her shoulders and there is a canyon sized tear on
the left sleeve. But Panther looks at it differently, to her it represent who she is as they are both worn

purpose. The voices never allow her to make peace with what she had done. In fact, the voices force
her to wear a ring, that belonged to the person she betrayed, around her neck as a reminder of the
crime she committed. There are two conflicting aspects of her personality that are waging a never
ending war for control. The voices in her head are constantly freeing the animalistic side of who she
is. A ticking time bomb waiting for any reason to explode, and god help anyone nearby when that
happens. Then, you have the samurai side of her personality that is constantly struggling for control
over that animal. Panther is a broken woman who has but one desire and that is to survive in this

The Accounting Principles Of Financial Statements And...
Accounting in health care has profound effects on financial statements, and knowing the necessary
components to conducting financial reports and balancing the assets is vital. Many things contribute to
the overall foundation of the balance sheet and valuations for the health care organization. A lot of
moving parts are required to keep health care organizations running and afloat for the long term. One
must understand the accounting concepts, and methods, terminology, in order to explain the various
uses on how they apply to balance sheets. Valuing assets and Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (GAAP) method is effective for the right valuation as they will be explained in the
following paragraphs.
Differences between Cash and Accrual Accounting
Cash accounting is a simple method which deals with revenue and expense within the health care
organization and personal uses. This method can easily apply to everyday people as several people
have a personal checkbook; they use to keep track of their expenses and depositing money every so
often. Using a checkbook is how we withdraw money for expenses which is one standard way to pay
for items. Cash basis accounting is also applied when reporting salaries for physicians or registered
nurses as an expense and this would allow no revenue of patients treated by physicians until the
following year when profits are collected. As good as method this is for people, accountants strive for
a better way to assess the organizations

The Lamb Diction
William Blake, a Romantic poet of the late 1700s and early 1800s, often wrote poems inspired by
nature and his unique religious perspective. Blake s book Songs of Innocence, containing the poem
The Lamb, and his book Songs of Experience, incorporating the poem The Tyger, are no exception. In
The Lamb, one reads of a speaker with a trusting and childlike perspective examining the surrounding
creation. The evolved speaker of The Tyger, however, views nature with a disenchanted perspective.
When looking at The Lamb and The Tyger side by side, one sees different perspectives about the
creation of nature through the usage of diction, rhetorical questions, characterization, imagery,
allusions, and syntax in the poems.
The first vital literary tool used to reflect the speakers maturing mindset is diction. In The Lamb,
Blake s word choice is unsophisticated and that of a child. This is exemplified when the speaker
discuses Gods creation with the aid of words such as softest (Lamb 6) and life (Lamb 3). However, in
The Tyger refined diction ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Lamb, is structured into equal stanzas of rhyming couplets with a rhythm that generally follows
that of trochaic trimeter. When joined, the poem has a measured and reassuring mood while taking on
a song like quality. However, in The Tyger there is a swinging rhythm and no pure meter as some lines
are iambic and some are not. Resultantly, the structure of the poem is sophisticated and the rhythm and
meter are as unsure as the speaker is about the intricate creator. When looking at both poems side by
side, the shift from a speaker who is confident about the creation of nature to a speaker who is
confused about the creation of nature is clearly evident as the structure of The Lamb is simplistic
while the structure of The Tyger is

The Challenges Of Colonialism And Imperialism In Nigeria
Imperialism has set our country back half a century. When the British came in in 1910 and colonized
our country, Nigeria, it changed everything. Our education system was negatively affected. Our
country became extremely controversial in a religious aspect. All in all, if the British did not come and
colonize our home, our country would be at a much better place today.
If we were to receive this grant from the UN, it would be more than helpful to our country. Education
would drastically improve if we received the grant. New schools and facilities would be built, more
qualified teachers would be hired, and a better school environment would be established for the safety
of the kids. As a country, our economy has been on a major downfall. In order to help fix this, the
grant is needed to help rebalance the economy. We must empower more entrepreneurs and producers
to create products that the our people need and desire. Finally, the last reason we are in dire need of
these money is to help end corruption. The corruption in our country is our biggest problem. The
corruption has led to significant poverty and an exceptionally low unemployment rate. With the
money we would invest into the government to try and create more transparency with the our people.
Overall, our country is at a place where a grant would be crucial to our future development. We
believe that this grant of money will push this country to a brighter future.
Nigeria has a unique history in the terms of which

about the poet who is just like a type of healer to humankind. Keats begins to write Hyperion after
returning from Scotland to nurse his dying brother Tom who is suffering from painful tubercular. Tom
died on December 1818 and after this shocking event Keats is unable to make any appreciable
progress on Hyperion. So due to the emotional disturbance he isn t quite ready to write his epic. He
tries to continue the poem but he only gives the reason in his letters of not writing about it. He writes

He exposes himself to actual experience in it due to this a tragic epic, Hyperion in comparison of

suffering and struggle of human life. This chapter contends that these suffering and struggle are found

Instantly Jimmy threw himself of the floor of the market, began to screaming at the top of his lungs,

How To Write A Persuasive Essay On Kendrick Lamar

The Trial Scene And Anatomy Of A Murder
Criminal law provides procedural rules in governing the criminal justice system s operation. In films,
the trial scenes rarely give an accurate depiction of the court process. The writers and producers make
the crime movies more dramatic as a technique to draw in the audience. The trial scene tends to be the
climax in crime films, which gives it more depth and meaning. The 1959 movie Anatomy of a Murder
follows a murder trial of a defendant who murdered a man that allegedly raped his wife. The movie s
plot is primarily focused on the entire trial of this case. While the 1988 movie The Accused, discusses
a case involving a women who was gang raped at a local bar. It portrayed this as a very serious offense

This was not the only film that had illustrated the criminal justice system. In the well known movie
The Accused, the judicial system is presented in an accurate manner. The film insinuated that since
Sarah Tobias, played by Jodie Foster, was dressed provocatively and she likes to have fun. It then
made the implication that she was looking for it, which is exactly what the opposing attorney argued.
In reality, these are the type of questions or implications that typically come up in rape cases. The plea
deals made in between the prosecutor and defense attorneys is something that happens a lot in the
criminal justice system (cite movie). Typically, in reality the prosecutor will first consult with the
victim before offering a plea deal. In the movie, that was something that was not by the prosecutor
Kathryn Murray, played by Kelly McGillis, which brought injustice to the victim. In this movie, the
audience first hand witnessed how this type of trauma can have a profound affect on the victim. There
are many negative effects that can result such as depression or anxiety (cite academic journal, p.389).
The movie showed how the victim was impacted in a mental and emotional type of way. This movie
shows that there are ways to bring forth the accused so that justice can prevail. The criteria for
describing crime films can have various definitions.

American Socialism And Communism
Bernie Sanders official campaign website boasts proudly of the candidate s stance on workers rights.
American socialism historically holds links with American mass labor. Socialism migrated to the
American continent with the immigrants of the nineteenth century. With the progress of
industrialization, immigrants both climbed the economic ladder and labored in the newly created
factories and stores, a level of economic diversity the senator likely finds grossly unfair. * Due to

Research Paper On Alicia Keys
At the 2016 MTV Video Music awards, Alicia Keys shocked the world when she showed up without
makeup. As one can imagine, the rumor mill kicked into high gear as to why she committed such a
heinous act. Well, its rather complicated. So, let s dig in a little deeper and see the five reasons she
stopped wearing makeup. 1. ALICIA KEYS DIDN T LIKE BEING A CHAMELEON Alicia always
expressed her distaste for how the media shapes the looks of celebrities. When she first hit the scene,
people criticized her for her looks. Hence, she forcibly adapted to her surroundings like a chameleon.
The problem is, though, it s not her true self. 2. ALICIA KEYS HAD INSECURITIES Any artists

The Challenge Between Civilization and Savagery in Lord...
In the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding, symbolism and allegories were used to show how
the children who are stranded on an island have a huge struggle with civilization and savagery. Ralph,
Piggy, Jack, and Simon are the ones in the novel that struggle with this the most.
Golding wrote this story because he was horrified of Stalinism in Russia. His experience in World War
II effected his view on humanity and evils that are capable of occurring. Ralph, Piggy, and Simon are
manifested with the civilizing instinct , while Jack, Roger, and the other hunters have the savage
instinct. Golding also dealt with human nature. Jean Jacques Rousseau believed that man is good, but
Golding controverts his philosophy. Golding believes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Through out the book, Ralph struggles with his civilization and savagery. An example is when he joins
Jack and his tribe of what they thought was the Beast . Over a period of time, Ralph beings to lose the
way that he thinks. You can see signs of this when he has a hard time developing an agenda for his
meetings with the boys. He also beings to lose his morals and self control. Ralph becomes savage after
everyone has joined Jacks new tribe. He has always been savage because everyone has savagery in
them. He truly shows his savage side when he murdered Simon. It was a night on the beach while
everyone is around a fire. The boys start to chant for the beast to come out. Everyone is in the moment
and something from the woods comes out onto the beach. A thing was crawling out of the forest
(Golding152). They start attacking what they think is the beast . Once they stop Ralph then realizes
that they have killed Simon. The next morning, Ralph is the only person to acknowledge that they
murdered someone the night before. This is the only time that Ralph becomes savage. He knows what
he has just done was an awful thing, but at the same time it gave him an adrenaline rush. He was
excited about what he did. In the end, Ralph gained an understanding of mans human nature character,
something that he cant acquire.
Under the authority of Ralph, second in line was a kid named Piggy. Piggy is a symbol of science,
intellectuality, and the rational world.

Leadership Approach Paper – Behavioral Approach
Leadership Approach Paper
Organizations depend on the management and leadership skills of individuals in order to be
successful. Leaders do not have to be managers but are equally important. Leaders are individuals who
possess traits, behavior and abilities to influence others to accomplish tasks and other needed
objectives for the company. Leadership is defined as the ability of an individual to influence, motivate,
and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the organization. . . . (House et
al., 1999, pg. 184).
According to Yuki, G. (2010) there are five different leadership approaches that are being researched.
These five approaches are:
1. Trait approach
2. Behavior approach
3. Power influence ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is a not an easy task to change behavior, especially if a person is not interested in change. This is
approach seems to best fit my personal leadership approach. Looking back at my previous
employment as a financial associate at Boone County National Bank, I can relate to the definition of
the behavioral approach. I was always concerned about given tasks and people. My behavior
influenced others to follow and start behaving the same way I did. A great example is the way I used
to deal with my customers. I was friendly, concerned with their business and ensured that they were
well taken care of. By being concerned and open minded, I completed sales and other branch needed
tasks without pushing or forcing myself on someone. With a combination of traits and behavior me
and my colleagues made a great team and were able to complete all tasks on time, efficiently and
effectively as well as satisfy all of our customers and managers. Looking back over the
accomplishments of the branch I worked in as well as my personal accomplishments, I feel proud of
what I have helped accomplish.
Conclusion
Understanding the difference between effective management and effective leadership is important.
Leaders are not always born leaders; they can be formed into leaders if that is what they want. All five
leadership approaches combined would form the perfect leader but each individual has special traits
and behaviors that can make one into a leader. The behavioral

A Rhetorical Analysis Of Letter To Eliza Stacey
In 1847 Eliza Stacey writes a letter to her father in law, Edward Stacey, to persuade him to help the
family get out of this debt they have unexpectedly fallen into. Through her letter Eliza Stacey uses
pathos to display the suffering the debt has brought her and ethos to establish a reason to ask for his
help. She also uses personification and anecdotes to make Edward recall the series of events in the
past that have led to debt hoping that Edward will feel sympathy and recognize Eliza s helpless feeling

advised his lawyer on this debt and was led to believe that things were going on favourably. The first
anecdote shows how the family at first thought it was all going to be fixed. The second anecdote is the
fellow hired our horse about four years ago, on which he rode... to settle the hire and loss of our
horse. But not so. This second anecdote displays why the plan with the lawyer began to fall apart along
with an extra issue added to the debt; the loss of their horse. The third anecdote is Last Wednesday
after supper the bailiff arrived in a sleigh, arrested George and took him to Sherbrooke gaol. thi last
anecdote brings Edward to the recent of the debt and why Eliza is now alone. With the use of these
anecdotes, Eliza is able to describe the series of unfortunate events that have built up to the
unavoidable debt. This way she can also show that the family though they would be alright because

Analysis Of The Chicago Tribune And William Randolph...
This pair seized upon the headlines generated from a case involving a woman named Mona Marshall,
who alleged that she had been drugged, raped, and forced into prostitution by a pimp. There were
elements of her story that were genuinely factual and terribly disturbing, but other parts seemed far
fetched. That included a tale in which the police reportedly received a note that she dropped from the
window of the brothel where she worked stating, I am a white slave. In addition, Marshall s
recounting of events included several contradictions with dates and key details. Nonetheless, The
Chicago Tribune and William Randolph Hearst s Chicago American ran wild with the Mona Marshall
story and it quickly gained a national audience. Clifford Roe gained recognition nationwide as the
prosecutor of that case and he leveraged his newfound fame into more of an activist role. He
subsequently published Panders and Their White Slaves and The Girl Who Disappeared, which was
later fact checked by a notable sociologist Walter Reckless. He found that Roe used heavily altered
statements from prostitutes to advance his agenda. In addition, Reckless studied Chicago s white slave
court cases extensively and found that less than 5% of them actually involved women held against
their will. In fairness, although Roe s methods were deceptive, one positive result manifested from his
work as he successfully lobbied to get much needed sex trafficking laws passed in Illinois. Over a

Analysis Of Soldiers Home By Ernest Hemingway
Soldiers Home It s a funny thing coming home. Nothing changes. Everything looks the same, feels the
same, even smells the same. You realize what s changed is you. F. Scott Fitzgerald The devastating
imagery soldiers witness in everyday life is stuck with them, and those memories eventually come to
the surface. There s nothing half as appreciable as coming home again. The short story presents the
homecoming of an outcasted soldier following the war. Krebs, Hemingway s main character,
experiences frequent lonely sensations as he concludes that he, and the young girls that had grown up
were the only things that had changed in the town of Oklahoma when returning. The noticeable
difference between the members of armed forces returning from overseas duty and those who
remained home creates an immense conflict in the story. That is, as it lies, the fraud that is demanded
for survival. In Soldier s Home , Ernest Hemingway, the author develops a distaste for everything that
had happened to Krebs in the war; which may well be a deliberation of, though not restricted to, the
livelihood being taken from soldiers today, coming home from war. Hemingway reveals the short
story through a narrator s voice. The narrator is not necessarily a bystander, as he recognizes, for the
most part, that the war stripped the soul from Krebs. It is made clear that Hemingway understands
more than what can be physically observed about Krebs, as his feelings are thoroughly detailed
throughout.

to handling their own money, people are very irresponsible. Piggy banks are meant to help nudge us to
save money. It is very easy to put money into a piggy bank, but it is a pain to take the money out. This

different budgets for different things. People will set aside a certain amount of money for one purpose,
they will only withdraw for that specific purpose. This violated the fungibility of money as it can now

The Possibilities and Problems of Digital Recording and Distribution
Abstract: This essay deals with the creative possibilities generated by the influx of inexpensive and
easy to use digital recording software, hardware, and digital distribution techniques. One of the main
themes of the essay is the problem of upholding creativity and artistic integrity in an unmediated
digital environment.

However, modern technology has made it possible to package many of the features of large recording
studios into small digital recording consoles, which amateur musicians can afford. The price of one of
these consoles, the Tascam Digital Portastudio 788, at Musiciansfriend.com, is $899.99 [1]. This
console, although seemingly expensive, is much more cost effective than paying for an entire studio,
and can achieve nearly the same results. The real benefit of a digital recording console, however, is the
creative control it bestows upon musicians. Instead of having a producer who dictates how the
recording should sound, the musician becomes the producer, giving him complete control over all
aspects of the composition. Additionally, because of the cost of studio recording, a musician s time in
the studio is usually limited. However, with a personal digital recording console, one can freely
experiment with new ideas without time constraints. While this unmediated recording environment
theoretically provides an artist with unlimited creative flexibility, it also allows for detrimental misuse
in the form of non original composition, which can negate the creative possibilities of this new artistic
process.
The accessibility and simplicity of the unmediated digital recording process enable individuals, who
otherwise would not be involved in music recording, damage the reputation

Analysis Of Richard Rodriguez s Hunger Of Memory
An autobiography is completely unlike any other type of writing, and it is this style of book that
author Richard Rodriguez bravely chose to use in Hunger of Memory. Essentially, an autobiography is
a book documenting someone s life; full of their heartbeat and heartaches. Its raw authenticity is so
refreshing in comparison to complex literary texts full of hidden metaphors and complicated
symbolism. Through this sort of writing, Rodriguez provides an authentic, honest account of his life
while detailing how race played a role in it. In order to accomplish this, he examines specific aspects
of his life and reveals how his culture and skin color affected these areas. Throughout the text it is
obvious that the consequences of race are involved in every single part of people s lives, specifically
education, as revealed through the hidden curriculum, language, and religion involved in the
classroom. Schools are supposed to teach academic material, but they also teach students how to
function in society and fit in with the culture. In a sense, the classroom becomes a sort of miniature
community as the educator and students function in a way that reflects the real world outside of
classroom doors. Based upon this idea that schools resemble actual society, researchers have drawn
direct links between the quality of a school s climate and its educational outcomes (Jerald). This
phenomenon is called the hidden curriculum and refers to a range of things (attitudes,

Tasks Facing The German Woman
Elsa Herrmann believed that the new woman was strong and independent. Women started to stray
away from traditional views in 1930. The Nazis viewed womanhood completely different from what
the new woman represented. As described by Elsbeth Zander, in Tasks Facing the German Woman,
women were to stand by their husband and raise their children to fight for the fatherland. The Nazis
rejected the new woman in order to keep the fatherland in line. While the new woman is an
independent and self reliant person, the Nazis and other German civilians view womanhood as
producing the ideal offspring to support the fatherland.
Elsa Herrmann believed that the new woman was independent and powerful. Previously women were
in charge of cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the children. Day in and day out the household
chores were her responsibilities. In This Is the New Woman, Elsa explains, Then she collapsed

Circles Of Context Usually when I am told to read a verse in the Bible, I just read that verse and using the information that specific verse provided, I take a guess at what that verse is saying or explaining. Little did I know that because I was reading just one verse alone, I was probably misinterpreting it. The circles of context were invented to help with this problem. We first look at the immediate text, then we can look at the rest of the book, now we can look at the introductions of this book and others by the same author. Then, we can look throughout the same testament to see if any other information relates, and finally we can look into other testaments. It is plausible that higher rates of PPE compliance would result in lower rates of serious injury and fatalities in the construction industry to move towards a zero injury workplace. Different types of PPE like hard hats, safety vest, steel caped boots and hearing protection have been made mandatory in work sites around Australia. Even though these restrictions have been applied to the field, many incidents have occurred where workers have had insufficient PPE resulting in potentially avoidable fatalities. PPE enforcement is a significant part of a supervisor s role at construction sites, however due to other responsibilities and tight work schedules supervisors are not capable of monitoring each and every worker on the site at all times. To overcome this deficiency, various automated solutions have been researched for the detection of safety equipment. To support this role, a video based monitoring tool is being developed that will alert the foreman to any non compliance taking place in the site. The main focus of this project is the development of a real time video monitoring system using the latest computer vision techniques. The video with be captured by a camera set up in ... • 9. Volcano, Volcanic Volcano And Volcanic Ash A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary mass object that allows lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. The Earth s crust is made up of huge slabs called plates, which fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. The friction caused by the plates moving from time to time results in earthquakes and volcanic eruptions near the edges of the plates. There are many different types of volcanoes. (Volcanoes: Principal Types of Volcanoes) The most common are Cinder volcanoes. This type of volcano occurs when particles and blobs of solid lava are emitted from a single vent in the center. As the gas charged lava is blown violently into the air it breaks into small fragments that solidify and fall as cinders around the vent to form an oval cone. A good example of a cinder cone is the Paricutin Volcano in Mexico that grew out of a corn field in 1943. The eruptions continued for 9 years and built the cone to a height of 424 meters. Another type of volcano is the Composite volcanoes also known as Stratovolcano. These are steep sided volcanoes composed of many layers of volcanic rocks, usually made from high viscosity lava, ash and rock debris. Famous examples of composite cones are Mayon Volcano in Philippines, Mount Fuji in Japan, and Mount Rainier in U.S.A. Then we have, shield volcanoes that are shaped like a warrior s shield in the middle with long gentle slopes made by basaltic lava flows. This is very fluid lava, usually from multiple vents ... • 12. The Lamb Diction William Blake, a Romantic poet of the late 1700s and early 1800s, often wrote poems inspired by nature and his unique religious perspective. Blake s book Songs of Innocence, containing the poem The Lamb, and his book Songs of Experience, incorporating the poem The Tyger, are no exception. In The Lamb, one reads of a speaker with a trusting and childlike perspective examining the surrounding creation. The evolved speaker of The Tyger, however, views nature with a disenchanted perspective. When looking at The Lamb and The Tyger side by side, one sees different perspectives about the creation of nature through the usage of diction, rhetorical questions, characterization, imagery, allusions, and syntax in the poems. The first vital literary tool used to reflect the speakers maturing mindset is diction. In The Lamb, Blake s word choice is unsophisticated and that of a child. This is exemplified when the speaker discuses Gods creation with the aid of words such as softest (Lamb 6) and life (Lamb 3). However, in The Tyger refined diction ... Resultantly, the structure of the poem is sophisticated and the rhythm and meter are as unsure as the speaker is about the intricate creator. • 29. Analysis Of The Chicago Tribune And William Randolph... This pair seized upon the headlines generated from a case involving a woman named Mona Marshall, who alleged that she had been drugged, raped, and forced into prostitution by a pimp. There were elements of her story that were genuinely factual and terribly disturbing, but other parts seemed far fetched. That included a tale in which the police reportedly received a note that she dropped from the window of the brothel where she worked stating, I am a white slave. In addition, Marshall s recounting of events included several contradictions with dates and key details. Nonetheless, The Chicago Tribune and William Randolph Hearst s Chicago American ran wild with the Mona Marshall story and it quickly gained a national audience. Clifford Roe gained recognition nationwide as the prosecutor of that case and he leveraged his newfound fame into more of an activist role. He subsequently published Panders and Their White Slaves and The Girl Who Disappeared, which was later fact checked by a notable sociologist Walter Reckless. He found that Roe used heavily altered statements from prostitutes to advance his agenda. In addition, Reckless studied Chicago s white slave court cases extensively and found that less than 5% of them actually involved women held against their will. In fairness, although Roe s methods were deceptive, one positive result manifested from his work as he successfully lobbied to get much needed sex trafficking laws passed in Illinois. • 30. Analysis Of Soldiers Home By Ernest Hemingway Soldiers Home It s a funny thing coming home. Nothing changes. Everything looks the same, feels the same, even smells the same. You realize what s changed is you. F. Scott Fitzgerald The devastating imagery soldiers witness in everyday life is stuck with them, and those memories eventually come to the surface. There s nothing half as appreciable as coming home again. The short story presents the homecoming of an outcasted soldier following the war. Krebs, Hemingway s main character, experiences frequent lonely sensations as he concludes that he, and the young girls that had grown up were the only things that had changed in the town of Oklahoma when returning. The noticeable difference between the members of armed forces returning from overseas duty and those who remained home creates an immense conflict in the story. That is, as it lies, the fraud that is demanded for survival. In Soldier s Home , Ernest Hemingway, the author develops a distaste for everything that had happened to Krebs in the war; which may well be a deliberation of, though not restricted to, the livelihood being taken from soldiers today, coming home from war. Hemingway reveals the short story through a narrator s voice. The narrator is not necessarily a bystander, as he recognizes, for the most part, that the war stripped the soul from Krebs. It is made clear that Hemingway understands more than what can be physically observed about Krebs, as his feelings are thoroughly detailed throughout. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, modern technology has made it possible to package many of the features of large recording studios into small digital recording consoles, which amateur musicians can afford. The price of one of these consoles, the Tascam Digital Portastudio 788, at Musiciansfriend.com, is $899.99 [1]. This console, although seemingly expensive, is much more cost effective than paying for an entire studio, and can achieve nearly the same results. The real benefit of a digital recording console, however, is the creative control it bestows upon musicians. Instead of having a producer who dictates how the recording should sound, the musician becomes the producer, giving him complete control over all aspects of the composition. Additionally, because of the cost of studio recording, a musician s time in the studio is usually limited. However, with a personal digital recording console, one can freely experiment with new ideas without time constraints. While this unmediated recording environment theoretically provides an artist with unlimited creative flexibility, it also allows for detrimental misuse in the form of non original composition, which can negate the creative possibilities of this new artistic process. The accessibility and simplicity of the unmediated digital recording process enable individuals, who otherwise would not be involved in music recording, damage the reputation ... • 38. Analysis Of Richard Rodriguez s Hunger Of Memory An autobiography is completely unlike any other type of writing, and it is this style of book that author Richard Rodriguez bravely chose to use in Hunger of Memory. Essentially, an autobiography is a book documenting someone s life; full of their heartbeat and heartaches. Its raw authenticity is so refreshing in comparison to complex literary texts full of hidden metaphors and complicated symbolism. Through this sort of writing, Rodriguez provides an authentic, honest account of his life while detailing how race played a role in it. In order to accomplish this, he examines specific aspects of his life and reveals how his culture and skin color affected these areas. Throughout the text it is obvious that the consequences of race are involved in every single part of people s lives, specifically education, as revealed through the hidden curriculum, language, and religion involved in the classroom. Schools are supposed to teach academic material, but they also teach students how to function in society and fit in with the culture. In a sense, the classroom becomes a sort of miniature community as the educator and students function in a way that reflects the real world outside of classroom doors. Based upon this idea that schools resemble actual society, researchers have drawn direct links between the quality of a school s climate and its educational outcomes (Jerald). This phenomenon is called the hidden curriculum and refers to a range of things (attitudes, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
