Parental Involvement On Student Motivation And Academic...
Protection of Human Rights Since this study involves collecting data from minors a full board review
must be conducted by the IRB. In order to ensure human subjects are protected, no questions on the
survey will expose participants to unnecessary and atypical physical or psychological harm. (Mertler
2016). Participants will be warned that some survey questions may cause discomfort as a
precautionary measure since the study deals with participants from vulnerable populations. (Mertler
2016). Subject participation is voluntary and they can chose to end their participation at any time. All
surveys will remain confidential. Participants may gain a better understanding of self motivation in
relation to academic achievement. Parent or guardian ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another limitation to this study is the possibility of low response rates and financial requirements.
Mailing surveys will get expensive and responses are not guaranteed. This limitation is addressed to
the best of the study s ability by including a large sample size and providing incentives for returned
surveys. Another major limitation of survey research designs is the reliability of self reported data.
Even though people believe they are being accurate, they may in fact not be. Essentially, we are
collecting information on their perceptions of what they believe to be accurate. (Mertler 2016).
Participants may also respond to surveys the way they think the researcher wants them to respond.
Although unavoidable when conducting survey research, researchers have an obligation to recognize
and acknowledge that respondents may be providing socially acceptable responses. (Mertler 2016).

Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing...
Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing as interior and exterior gateway protocols.
A network simply just ran on a generic routing protocol. This eventually ran into problems so Routing
Information Protocol (RIP) was developed and ran as the single routing protocol for many years [1].
As the internet grew, however, this single routing protocol could no longer handle all the traffic.
Because of this, over time numerous other routing protocols were developed to meet the needs of
routing. One of the numerous gateway protocols that were developed was Border Gateway Protocol
(BGP), which is classified as an exterior gateway protocol (EGP).
BGP was developed in January 1989 at the 12th Internet Engineering Task Force Meeting ... Show

This is done by rejecting any routing update in which a local AS number is contained [2]. If a local AS
was accessed and already contained, it tells BGP that the route has already passed through that AS.
Additional routing information is found in below.
To complete these tasks successfully, BGP was designed to run over a reliable transport protocol,
which is why it uses TCP as it is a connection oriented protocol (specifically port 179) [2]. TCP also
allows eliminates the need for BGP to implement explicit update information, retransmissions,
acknowledgements, and sequencing [3].The current version that is being used since roughly 1995 is
version 4. This version introduced numerous new BGP features and extensions to allow it to forward
routing information to the protocol address families IPv4, IPv6, and CLNS [2]. This way the
extensions allow all internet protocols to be valid connecting all networks across the world.
AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
An autonomous system is a single routing protocol in a collection of networks with the same routing
policy [4]. It can also be defined as a network controlled by a single technical administration entity.
They are usually under a single ownership and identified by a unique number. Service providers and
enterprise customers such as AT T are examples of an autonomous system. They are used to divide
external global networks into distinct routing domains so that local routing policies can be applied [2].

Describe The Symptoms Of Dyslexia
3. List and describe the symptoms of dyslexia. When a child has problems on reading, we can
conclude that s/he may get dyslexia. Dyslexia is the most common learning disability. One of the
reasons that make dyslexia hard to be diagnosed is lack of the single test to accurately predict if a
child gets dyslexia or not, since every child has different developing pace. For instance, some children
have problems on speaking out words, but s/he can remember other more complicated things. People
used to think that visual difficulty is the reason of dyslexia. However, people now that dyslexia was
generated by both speech and hearing difficulties. Even though there was not single test to diagnoses
dyslexia, if a child still unable to speak at 3 years old, then parents should aware of dyslexia. Dyslexia
does not only happen among children, it bothers adults as well. For preschoolers, when they appear
language developmental delay, it means that they are facing dyslexia. Language developmental delay
includes whole bunch of small factors. First, when a child cannot pronounce words clearly, then this is
the sign of dyslexia. Second, when a child shows delay compared to his or her peers on speaking, this
indicates that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For adults, symptoms are more likely to be connected to writing. The first symptom is that no matter
how much an adult knows about a field or subject, it is just so hard for him or her to put his or her
thoughts in words. Furthermore, when an adult is trying to avoid reading and writing by all means,
then this is also a sign of dyslexia. I can match myself to some of the symptoms in the list, especially
the last one. When an adult have difficulties on meeting deadlines. I used to believe that I get
procrastination. But now this symptom also shows up in dyslexia. I think I got neither procrastination
nor dyslexia; I was just too lazy to do my words as early as I

Victoria s Secret Thesis Statement
Victoria s Secret is a retail chain of lingerie, beauty supplies, and fragrances. The purpose of the line is
to make females feel sexy, powerful, and young. They do not have a lot of lingerie for the more
voluptuous females; however, what they do have makes the lady feel sexy and confident. Victoria s
Secret was created by a man men know how they want their women to look like so he took his
imagery of beautiful women to make his lingerie line. The images of this ad include four females in
their bra and panties holding each other. There is a gray background with the words I Love My Body.
When looking at this ad, one may see just that only four girls displaying lingerie. However, there is so
much to this picture than what meets the human eye. To some it may seem like it is nothing, they are
just posing; however, some may change the meaning because they are in their bra and panties. All the
women in this ad are tall, lean, and fit. They ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There have been arguments against whether or not gay, and lesbianism, marriage and relationships
should be accepted. Some may argue that it should that one should be happy no matter whom they are
with. On the other hand, others argue that it is just not right. They refer to the Bible and say that this is
not what God wanted. In present day, society has come to accept female on female action as long as it
is in a sexual nature. Our society finds that when a female is attracted and being intimate with another
female that it is attractive. However, when male on male actions occur it is only tolerated in society,
and not even as much as it could be. There is an understood do not ask do not tell policy when it
comes to gay men. If it were four men in this ad holding each other this would be considered
homosexual, but because these are beautiful women in lingerie, this is fine. There is a very thin, yet
acceptable, line that the Victoria s Secret ads tread

Lord Of The Flies Wrongness
Evil is an Inborn Trait in Mankind Jeremy Griffith, an Australian biologist, once stated that humans
[are] fundamentally [either] good or bad, we learnt to avoid...the...subject so much so...that the human
condition has been described as the personal unspeakable , and as the black box inside of humans they
[cannot] go near. Is the reason for this description because humans do not want to acknowledge the
darkness lurking within? William Golding reveals what is inside that black box and exposes the reality
of the human condition through his novel, Lord of the Flies. The novel shows how the suppression of
evil becomes a difficult task without the presence of rules or punishments. As well, how fears and
temptations of one could possibly cause ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By placing blame on someone else they will benefit at the expense of another, which is considered evil
since the other will suffer the consequences while the one at fault does not. Raj Raghunathan, who has
a Ph.D., explained that there are two main reasons why one would blame others: either because it
makes one feel more confident...or because it makes one appear superior to the other person. Humans
do not want to acknowledge or take responsibility for their mistakes. By placing their faults on
someone else, they feel less guilt and feel they have power over another. In the novel Lord of the
Flies, Jack and his tribe believe that [the beast] came disguised [and that] he may come again even
though [they] gave him the head of [their] kill to eat (Golding 177). They blame the beast for Simon s
death, since the beast is supposedly using Simon as a disguise. Jack and his tribe know they are at
complete fault for his death, yet do not want to acknowledge or be responsible for their actions. They
believe that blaming the creature on the island will prove their innocence of the situation.
Furthermore, in the novel, Piggy comforts Ralph by stating that it was an accident, ... that s what is
was. An accident. His voice shrilled again. Coming in the dark he had no business crawling like that
out of the dark. He was batty. He asked for it (Golding 173). Ralph and Piggy do not blame
themselves for taking part in killing Simon because acknowledging their wrong would mean they
would have to accept the fact that they are no longer superior to Jack and his tribe. Ralph and Piggy
use blaming as a defense mechanism, allowing them to eliminate their guilt and for them to continue
to believe they are still good within, not evil. To sum up, the act of deflecting the blame off one s self
so that one is not held responsible and to also rid of their guilt to remain superior, is where the evil
trait in

Essay On Class Stereotypes
Class Stereotypes How does judging people on their economic class deem their worth? Being judged
by my looks is one thing, or even being judged on my looks due to my financial difficulties, but being
judged by an economic standing I have no control over is just all out ridiculous. Per several authors, I
will be mentioning Banaji Greenwald and Barbara Ehrenreich Stereotypes can have a big effect on
ourselves, our views, and those around us. I believe we develop our default or initial thoughts and
stereotypes about others from our environment and our culture; what we are exposed too. I hope that

the streets. Trying to be closer to my mom, my brother and I went to her boyfriend s house to see her,

what I had; jewelry, makeup, Ipods, cd players, clothes, going outside and even friends. Now, I don t

what you do and do not have or even the number of things you do have. I am glad it happened to a

Eminent Domain Paper
When Should Eminent Domain be Used?
When should a city or state use their eminent domain powers? Over the past few years there have been
a couple of cases that raised the questions of when eminent domain should be used. One of the most
controversial cases in the history of the United States was the Kelo v New
London Supreme Court ruling. In order to generate tax revenue, add jobs, and to prevent bankruptcy,
the government s right to initiate eminent domain for public good is a necessary evil.
Eminent domain in definition is the right or power of public purposes without the owner s consent on
payment of just compensation ( Eminent Domain History ). Eminent domain has been a part of the
United States ever since the constitution ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Which would cause the city to grow and that would provide more money to the government with the
increased tax revenue from all of the new families. This could create more jobs, because more
companies might be interested in locating there due to all of the growth. Eminent domain should also
be used by a city or state if it prevents it from going bankrupt.
A city or state should use eminent domain if it prevents it from going bankrupt. If a city is near
bankrupt then it cannot provide all of the necessary items that a city needs in order to run like it is
supposed to. For example, if a city is short of funds then it would have to reduce its budget in places
that would harm the city. It would have to cut money from the police, and fire departments. However,
by using their eminent domain powers a city could keep all of this from happening by letting a
business come that would create thousands in tax dollars, and add jobs to the city. This means that a
reduction in the police and fire departments would not happen and the city would still run smoothly.
The cities and states that use eminent domain to acquire land in order to keep themselves running
smoothly is sad; however, these cities and states are looking out for what is best for their areas. These
cities and states are not trying to make families move out of their homes in order to earn a quick
dollar. These cities and states are only

Emilia In Shakespeare s Othello
Although partially responsible for contributing to the tragedy of Othello and death of Desdemona,
Emilia is still considered to be one of the play s most positive characters. In the Shakespeare play,
Othello, Emilia is seen as one of the strongest of the female characters. Emilia is the wife of Iago and
the attendant of Desdemona. She is a dynamic character who changes through the course of the play
and also makes the argument, in a discussion with Desdemona, for equal social rights of women, or at
least as much as one could as a woman could in the early 1600s. Emilia betrays Desdemona by
stealing the special handkerchief given to Desdemona by Othello, but in the final scene of the play,
Emilia redeems her wrong doing by helping to expose ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As the play progresses the audience sees how the relationship between Desdemona and Emilia evolves
into a relationship of trust. Emilia becomes more and more loyal to Desdemona while at the same time
becomes less loyal towards her husband Iago. The relationship between Emilia and Desdemona
intensifies as the play continues. The two characters are foils for each other. Emilia is the wise,
motherlike figure who is a critic of men s actions towards women. She makes the argument that
women have the same desires and wants as men. In this famous monologue, the audience sees that
Emilia is observant and astute. When compared side by side to Desdemona, Emilia s qualities are
enhanced. Emilia foils Desdemona s naive, childish, innocent, character. However, even though
Desdemona is a contrast to Emilia s wisdom and astuteness, Desdemona s naiveté and warm
heartedness also has its benefits. Even though Emilia is a foil to Desdemona, Emilia s character
attributes do not take away from the warmness of heart and innocence seen in Desdemona. The two
characters qualities both contrast and complement each other and the audience is able to appreciate the
certain qualities in both of the women. Desdemona has an eerie sense of intuition as seen in her
dialogue with Emilia in act 4 scene 3 about

Genocide In Bosnia
The preface begins with the author recalling an unfortunate event relating to genocide. In 1995,
Bosnian Serbs annihilated Sarajevo by volumes of shells and other bombardments. As a result, the
United States and NATO demanded an end to this atrocity; the Serbs, fearful of the contesters ceased.
In a state of liberty, children began to spend most of their time outside playing. Months later, the
Clinton administration decided to withdraw support from the situation, hoping that the situation would
end itself.
The absence of support led the Bosnian Serbs to once again continue their attacks. Fearful and
determined, the insurgents surpassed the ordinary and decided to threaten a United Nations territory.
In so, the city of Srebrenica fell to the

Language Development Essay
Ever walk past a child who is engaged in an activity while talking to themselves out loud? If so, do not
worry, after reading this research paper you will understand it is perfectly normal. Language has many
dynamics including: words, private speech, inner speech, syntagmatics, paradigmatics and much
more. According to Craig and Dunn (2010) by age three, most children can use 900 to 1,000 words; by
age 6, most children have a productive vocabulary of 2,600 words and can understand more than
20,000 (pg. 161). Some children I work with who are in the toddler room are able to talk, but leave out

He seemed to be frustrated and said, It won t fit, it won t fit. As he said those words he never made eye
contact with anyone in the room, which means he was using private speech. As I read the articles
about private speech I realized I am 23 years old and I still talk myself through tough situations,
especially when I am in a hurry I practically have a conversation with myself; for example, I always
going into a room and I will say to myself, Why did I come in here? Oh yea, keys! Why can t I find
them anywhere? Yes, I found them. According to The Motivational Function of Preschooler s Private
Speech (2000) Vygotsky said language is first used for social communication as children acquire
speech during social interactions. Furthermore, the most significant moment in children cognitive
development occurs when they begin to use language not only for communication with others but also
as a tool to direct their own thoughts and behaviors. Therefore meaning private speech is a precursor
to inner speech, as a child develops, inner speech also develops and the child will become able to use
symbolic thought.
Any utterance that does not meet any of these criteria for social speech is classified as private speech.
Utterance refers to a complete unit of speech that a person speaks. According to Private Speech and
Strategy Use Patterns (n.d.) Findings have supported Vygotsky s assumption that movement from

Narrative Essay On Missions Trip
Over the summer I went to Nashville, Tennessee for a missions trip with my youth group. During the
trip, I experienced many awkward and embarrassing situations that I wish I didn t have to live

the week was pretty hectic. There were three particular incidents that really stick out when I think of
Missions Trip 2016. These incidents include an atrocious crew and crew leader, a flirtatious man, and
a scary church where we stayed. The first incident happened upon being assigned to an awful crew.
The crew leader, Pete, was the worst of them all. He was immature and a total stick in the mud. For

Compare And Contrast The Epic Of Gilgamesh And The Bible
Gilgamesh was said to be written around 3300 to 2990 B.C., while the Bible was said to be written
around the 6th century B.C. The Bible has around 40 contributors, but only one real author, which is
God. According to the authors of Who Were the Authors , Humanly speaking, the Bible was written by
approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 1500 years. God guided these men to
write this piece of literature for future Christians. The Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew
while the New Testament was originally written in Greek. No specific person has ever been named to
be the author of Gilgamesh, which was written in cuneiform, as it is one of the oldest pieces of
literature in the world. Pictured in Figure 1, is one of the original tablets. The Bible and the Epic of
Gilgamesh can be compared in many ways; however, the most common way is by the similarities and
differences in the floods that occur. This [Gilgamesh] story contains the closest parallels to the biblical
account... writes Lloyd Bailey. Both Gilgamesh and the Bible have two big floods that change
humanity in more ways than one. To really understand and compare the floods in the Epic of
Gilgamesh and the Bible, both pieces of literature need to be thoroughly examined in every way that
their natural disasters are similar and different: the creators and their reasons for making the floods,
the hero of the flood, the period of grace, the two arks and their passengers, and the bird scene.

Business Intelligence Plan Essay
Business Intelligence Plan
Executive Summary
The purpose of this report is to explain the importance of Business Intelligence and all of its
components for implementation into the business structure. During the recent years obtaining useful
information in real time has become something that is extremely important, if not even a critical,
factor of success for companies. The time managers have available for use in making business
decisions has been reduced dramatically. Competitive pressures are now requiring that businesses
make intelligent decisions based on their incoming business data, and these decisions must be made
immediately (Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, 2005, p.5; Hocevar ... Show more content

This is an essential component of BI for arriving at valid business decisions. Similar data can be
stored in multiple repositories within a single business; one example would be the inventory of items
for sale. When considering data sources, it is important to understand if there is a recognized
authoritative source for a specific type of data. In many enterprises, the data required for making
business decisions is created by wide ranging applications, perhaps from separate lines of business
(Theme 1).
BI systems today have the capacity to work with numerous types of data such as numerical or non
numerical data. The quality of this data is as important as any other data. The difference in the level of
data quality is one of the many factors that may explain why some organizations are successful with
their BI initiative while some are not so successful (Isik, O., Jones, M.C., Sidoroya, A. 2011).
Component three is Data Analytics. This component is used for the analysis of data. Data analytics
refers to the business intelligence technologies that are grounded for the most part in data mining and
statistical analysis. Due to the success that has been achieved overall by the data mining and statistical
analysis community, data analytics continues to be an active area of research (Hsinchun, Chiang,
Storey, 2012).
Data analytics are structured in statistical theories and models, multivariate statistical analysis. It also

What Has The Industrial Revolution Improved For Modern...
What Has the Industrial Revolution Improved for Modern Civilization?
Agriculture
During the Industrial Revolution many major improvements were made to fundamental areas in
society such as agriculture, textile and metal manufacturing, transportation, economic policies, and
social structure (Montagna, The Industrial Revolution). Changes within the agriculture industry were a
central part of industrial change due to the large position that agriculture contributed to raw materials
in the textile industry. Agriculture specifically gave to the demand for products such as wool and
cotton which contributed to the production of cloth. Additionally, the advancement of metal allowed
for better farming tools which allowed for technical advancements in the way that crops were
harvested. The ultimate importance in the changes made to the agriculture industry revolved around
food availability. The changes in technology and advancements in crop rotation made it possible to
feed large populations of people. The agricultural changes provided enough food to sustain a sufficient
workforce, which additionally allowed expansion of industry and resulted in economic expansion
(Montagna, The Industrial Revolution).
The Textile Industry Hand in hand with agriculture, the textile industry grew exponentially during this
period. Prior to the Industrial Revolution, the creation of fabric occurred independently in homes. The
entire process was long and involved because the

A Short Note On The Atlantic Bluefin Tuna
Thunnus Thynnus, or the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna, is one of the largest species of tuna, weighing in at
over 600 kilograms and four meters in length. It is known for its speed and takes the shape of a
torpedo. In its environment, the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna acts as one of the top predators. It preys on
smaller fish, such as herring, mackerel and eels. The Atlantic Bluefin Tuna is separated into two main
populations, Eastern and Western. Although located in different geographical areas they are not
isolated and individuals migrate between the two populations allowing gene flow. The Atlantic Bluefin
Tuna s population ranges all through the pelagic zone of the Atlantic. The Western Atlantic population
spawns in the Gulf of Mexico, and the Eastern Atlantic population spawns in the Mediterranean Sea.
In the fishing industry it is highly coveted for sports fishing, especially in the United States and
Canada, and in the sashimi market for high end sushi. As a result of the high demands for the Tuna it
is being heavily overfished causing the population to decline dramatically. The low supply and high
demand for the Tuna has made them extremely valuable; a single fish in Tokyo s Tsukiji fish market
sold for 1.76 million dollar (Bluefin, 2013). This high value of the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna has resulted
in illegal pirate fishing causing more harm to the population. If the illegal pirate fishing and
overfishing of the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna continues, the species will become extinct resulting

Essay Defender of the Faith Theme
Defender of the Faith Theme
Theme in Defender of the Faith can be interpreted in many varying ways, some of which are life long
lessons and others to the relation between faith and the individual.
Throughout much of the story, Nathan Marx is lost between his role as a sergeant, Jew and human
being. The relationship between the church, state and individual is a well known concept. The three
must be independent of each other and this story explores what happens when the three are forced
together. His religion starts the whole process of the three intertwining. As his grandmother said,
Mercy overrides justice. The quote reflects Marx s human side, where feelings dominate over duty. I
think the theme warns about faith ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Essentially, the author, Philip Roth, is teaching us the good, honourable way of life.
The theme with Jewishness has much to do with Nathan Marx, the defender mentioned in the title. He
unknowingly fights the good war against anti Semitism in the European theatre of war and comes
back to train more soldiers against the Axis powers. In the process he cares for his Jewish trainees in
terms of weekly rituals and diet and gives them leeway. Marx went out of his way to please Grossbart,
in fact he even conflicted with his Captain on numerous occasions about food and combat. Grossbart
was simply manipulating and abusing the religion for his own gain. When Marx realizes this, he once
again fights back by sending him to the Pacific. The war and decisions made in boot camp were tough
times for Marx, a lot like the suffering of Jews throughout history. Either way, he perseveres and wins
both his battles against the Nazis, the ignorance of his colleagues and the manipulation of Grossbart.
There is a theme much like the title, of staying true to the faith, educating and protecting it from those
who oppose or don t understand it. As long as you believe, things will turn out right. He may not be an
Orthodox or traditional Jew but he is a true Jew, determined by actions, more than just prayers and
words.
The right way to live as an individual in society is an important theme set in this

Emma Gonzales Speech Emma Gonzales, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School read a
very inspiring speech towards lawmakers and gun advocates. Emma wrote this speech and gave it at a

What Was The Role Of US Intervention In Guatemala
The U.S. intervened in Guatemala in 1954 because Jacobo Árbenz became president and began to
modernize Guatemala. Árbenz was said to have had close allies who were communists. The U.S.
assumed that the funding for these modernization projects were coming from a foreign power, the
Soviet Union. Former President Árbenz also began a land reform project in which he bought land
from land owners and distributed it to peasants. He attempted to buy the land of the United fruit
company, for a little over a million dollars, from the U.S.. The U.S. declined this offer and sent their
U.S. Ambassador to speak with Árbenz. The U.S. then organized an operation to overthrow the
Árbenz government. The operation, coup d etat, Code named Operation PBSUCCESS, mobilized
disaffected exiles and peasants into action . The U.S. leaders define this as being a terror campaign to

A Christmas Prince Analysis
A Christmas Prince is a holiday fairy tale with a picturesque mythical mountain kingdom, Christmas
violins, a shimmering castle ball, and horses prancing through the snow. A smart and beautiful but
mildly dishonest heroine and a handsome prince complete the picture. It s a familiar story, but has
enough charm and even a few twists to add a little bit of suspense. Other than a brief moment with a
menacing wolf and a fall from a horse, there s no jeopardy and no real suspense. The movie is filled
with wholesome messages about staying true to oneself and listening to your heart.
In A Christmas Prince , the European Kingdom of Aldovia, still mourning the death of its beloved
king, is expecting an important decision from their young heir in waiting. Will Prince Richard (Ben
Lamb) assume his father s throne, or will he choose to remain the playboy and ne er do well he seems
to be? Richard s decision is to be announced at the annual Christmas Eve ball. We learn from this a
regards of how media can say lot of untruth things about you to put you down but yet get money or
fem out of it. Amber (Rose McIver), a fledgling American magazine journalist who has never covered
such an event on her own, is overjoyed when she s assigned the Aldovian story. Unfortunately, when
Amber arrives at the palace she learns that reporters have been banned from the proceedings. Only a
chance case of mistaken identity gets Amber into the family s chambers.

Alexander The Great Report
Family Background
Alexander was born in Pella, Macedonia, in 356 B.C. Alexander The Great was the son of King Philip
II of Macedon, a kingdom in Macedonia. His mother, Olympias, was King Philip II s fourth wife.
Alexander inherited his father s strong empire, including the Greek kingdom of Macedonia, which
possibly assisted his great success. The conquests of Alexander would not have been nearly as great
without the army that his father created.
Early life
From a very young age, his Mother had encouraged him to believe that he was a descendant of heroes
and gods. Like most children in Athens, he was tutored and learnt to read, write and understand maths.
When Alexander turned 13, his father hired the great philosopher, Aristotle to tutor his son. In return
for his education, Philip II agreed to restore Aristotle s hometown of Stagira, which included setting
many of the citizens free from slavery.
However, most importantly he was taught how to fight, as well as hunt and ride a horse. When he was
growing up, he rarely saw his father due to long military campaigns that his father was ... Show more

fought as many as 17 battles and overthrew many places to create the largest empire anyone had ever
known. He has been known as perhaps the greatest military mastermind in the ancient world. From the
age of 20 until his death at 32, Alexander the great gathered probably the greatest empire known in the
ancient world. Wherever he went in the world Alexander wanted to create new cities all named after
him. It has been recorded that at least 70 cities have been founded by Alexander, however, the exact

High School Athletes And Sports
High school athletes who want to get recruited by a college need to get noticed by the right coach.
Although in some cities, athletes in Class and football, basketball and baseball may have scouts come
to their games, and in metropolitan areas, many sports are frequently covered in widely distributed
newspapers or newscasts, every year, thousands of other outstanding athletes are overlooked for one
simple reason: the coaches didn t know they were out there student athlete. Equipment and shoe for
athletics can be pretty expensive. It s sometimes hard to get shoes and the equipment you need to
participate in daily practice. The uniforms are usually provided to athletes. Today s world isn t very
uncommon to see some families struggling with money to pay for equipment and shoe so where are
they going to get money to get the stuff they need for sports. Athletics at high school are really all
about making the school itself look better by the athletes succeeding. It s unfair that the students have
to buy their own shoe and equipment to play on the school team. There are many reasons why high
school athletes should or shouldn t receive shoe and equipment from the school. The NCAA rule as of
now is that high student cannot take money or anything worth money such as shoes equipment. They
can obviously receive a uniform but nothing more. Student are given their shoes and equipment, they
may not work to the best of their ability because they say they just want the stuff.

Could Marijuana Oil Be The Real All In One Cure?
Epilepsy affects 50,000,000 people worldwide (Cure Epilepsy). Almost 500 new cases are reported
each day in the United States. Thirty percent of these cases are from children (Cure Epilepsy). Instead
of living a life of happiness, these children are fighting for their lives, hoping they can see the next
day. However, it does not have to be this way. There is a possible cure for epilepsy, but many countries
have banned the use of this product. Some countries now allow their citizens the use of marijuana oil,
more commonly referred to as CBD, or cannabidiol. CBD is believed to cure certain terminal
illnesses. Many scientists are now ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once the plant is dissolved, the thick liquid is poured into a coffee filter to strain out the unwanted
plant remnants. The last step is to boil the strained liquid (How to Make Canna oils). This rather
expeditious method is the most expeditious and most efficient way to engender cannabidiol.
Marijuana oil is thought to have been discovered by Chinese Emperor Shen Nung in 27 B.C. In 1545
marijuana was sent to the western hemisphere, and was commonly utilized in making attire, baskets,
paper, and rope (Nature s Addictive Plants). Often, in many cases, people are confused whether to
believe in the positive effects or heed the negative effects of marijuana oil. One beneficial acid found
in the oil is Omega 3 fatty acid, which prevents coronary heart disease (What Is Hemp Oil Benefits).
Omega 3 fatty acid is an unsaturated fatty acid of a kind occurring mostly in fish oils. The oil also
contains Aliphatic Alcohols, which reduce cholesterol and reduce platelet aggression. Phytol, one of
the Aliphatic Alcohols, is associated with an anti cancer benefits. Phytol can also be found in foods
such as spinach, beans, asparagus, green leafy vegetables. Also tocopherol, an antioxidant, helps
against degenerative diseases such as alzheimers and atherosclerosis (New Health Benefits Associated

Addiction or Influence Gambling can easily lead into addiction, an illness that draws people in with
the sense of risking it all. Placing that big bet for them is like a drug, it is exciting which causes the
brain to release adrenaline. The thrill of being beat by your opponent or the rush of being the winner,
winner chicken dinner raking in all the cash is what makes it so addicting. In this case a woman
named Angie Bachmann turned to gambling to fill a loneliness inside her. This loneliness was caused
by a combination of things leading her to gamble her life away. The casino was wrong in a way for

Unlike actual drugs that numb your mind, gambling numbed the empty feeling she felt when being

before she was married or even had kids. Duhigg stated, Bachmnn, on the other hand, was often
introduced by her parents as the one who became a mom ( Duhigg pg. 246). Her parents made her feel
like there was nothing special about her other than the fact that she was a good mother. Angie stated, I
always felt like the untalented one (Duhigg pg. 246). Constantly being put down by people who are
supposed to support you to the fullest can make you feel like you are not good enough. It is almost as
if she turned to gambling trying to run from the way her family made her feel. Over the years the more
she gambled the less her family needed her which only made her want to gamble more. If she would
have stuck to the rules she gave herself, she would have been fin, but the thrill of winning and losing

Hookworm Research Paper
19 Hookworm (Anclostoma Duodenale and Necator Americanus). Hookworm is another very
important intestinal helminth that infects over seven hundred million people worldwide (CDC, 2016).
The adult worms, like ascaris live in the intestine and shed their eggs in the faeces of infected person.
Faecal contamination of the soil or the use of human excreta as fertilizer increases the chance of hook
worm eggs to be deposited in the soil. The eggs when released into the soil hatch into the larvae.
Hookworm infection occurs when the infective larvae penetrate the human skin. This infection is
likely possible when people walk barefoot on soil contaminated with hookworm eggs (Cappello,

In order to ensure human subjects are protected, no questions on the survey will expose participants to unnecessary and atypical physical or psychological harm. (Mertler 2016). Participants will be warned that some survey questions may cause discomfort as a precautionary measure since the study deals with participants from vulnerable populations. (Mertler 2016). Subject participation is voluntary and they can chose to end their participation at any time. All surveys will remain confidential. Participants may gain a better understanding of self motivation in relation to academic achievement. Parent or guardian ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another limitation to this study is the possibility of low response rates and financial requirements. Mailing surveys will get expensive and responses are not guaranteed. This limitation is addressed to the best of the study s ability by including a large sample size and providing incentives for returned surveys. Another major limitation of survey research designs is the reliability of self reported data. Even though people believe they are being accurate, they may in fact not be. Essentially, we are collecting information on their perceptions of what they believe to be accurate. (Mertler 2016). Participants may also respond to surveys the way they think the researcher wants them to respond. Although unavoidable when conducting survey research, researchers have an obligation to recognize and acknowledge that respondents may be providing socially acceptable responses. (Mertler 2016). • 3. Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing... Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing as interior and exterior gateway protocols. A network simply just ran on a generic routing protocol. This eventually ran into problems so Routing Information Protocol (RIP) was developed and ran as the single routing protocol for many years [1]. As the internet grew, however, this single routing protocol could no longer handle all the traffic. Because of this, over time numerous other routing protocols were developed to meet the needs of routing. One of the numerous gateway protocols that were developed was Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), which is classified as an exterior gateway protocol (EGP). BGP was developed in January 1989 at the 12th Internet Engineering Task Force Meeting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is done by rejecting any routing update in which a local AS number is contained [2]. If a local AS was accessed and already contained, it tells BGP that the route has already passed through that AS. Additional routing information is found in below. To complete these tasks successfully, BGP was designed to run over a reliable transport protocol, which is why it uses TCP as it is a connection oriented protocol (specifically port 179) [2]. TCP also allows eliminates the need for BGP to implement explicit update information, retransmissions, acknowledgements, and sequencing [3].The current version that is being used since roughly 1995 is version 4. This version introduced numerous new BGP features and extensions to allow it to forward routing information to the protocol address families IPv4, IPv6, and CLNS [2]. This way the extensions allow all internet protocols to be valid connecting all networks across the world. AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS An autonomous system is a single routing protocol in a collection of networks with the same routing policy [4]. It can also be defined as a network controlled by a single technical administration entity. They are usually under a single ownership and identified by a unique number. Service providers and enterprise customers such as AT T are examples of an autonomous system. They are used to divide external global networks into distinct routing domains so that local routing policies can be applied [2]. This simplifies ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Describe The Symptoms Of Dyslexia 3. List and describe the symptoms of dyslexia. When a child has problems on reading, we can conclude that s/he may get dyslexia. Dyslexia is the most common learning disability. One of the reasons that make dyslexia hard to be diagnosed is lack of the single test to accurately predict if a child gets dyslexia or not, since every child has different developing pace. For instance, some children have problems on speaking out words, but s/he can remember other more complicated things. People used to think that visual difficulty is the reason of dyslexia. However, people now that dyslexia was generated by both speech and hearing difficulties. Even though there was not single test to diagnoses dyslexia, if a child still unable to speak at 3 years old, then parents should aware of dyslexia. Dyslexia does not only happen among children, it bothers adults as well. For preschoolers, when they appear language developmental delay, it means that they are facing dyslexia. Language developmental delay includes whole bunch of small factors. First, when a child cannot pronounce words clearly, then this is the sign of dyslexia. They do not have a lot of lingerie for the more voluptuous females; however, what they do have makes the lady feel sexy and confident. Victoria s Secret was created by a man men know how they want their women to look like so he took his imagery of beautiful women to make his lingerie line. The images of this ad include four females in their bra and panties holding each other. There is a gray background with the words I Love My Body. When looking at this ad, one may see just that only four girls displaying lingerie. However, there is so much to this picture than what meets the human eye. Lord Of The Flies Wrongness Evil is an Inborn Trait in Mankind Jeremy Griffith, an Australian biologist, once stated that humans [are] fundamentally [either] good or bad, we learnt to avoid...the...subject so much so...that the human condition has been described as the personal unspeakable , and as the black box inside of humans they [cannot] go near. Is the reason for this description because humans do not want to acknowledge the darkness lurking within? William Golding reveals what is inside that black box and exposes the reality of the human condition through his novel, Lord of the Flies. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... By placing blame on someone else they will benefit at the expense of another, which is considered evil since the other will suffer the consequences while the one at fault does not. Raj Raghunathan, who has a Ph.D., explained that there are two main reasons why one would blame others: either because it makes one feel more confident...or because it makes one appear superior to the other person. Humans do not want to acknowledge or take responsibility for their mistakes. By placing their faults on someone else, they feel less guilt and feel they have power over another. In the novel Lord of the Flies, Jack and his tribe believe that [the beast] came disguised [and that] he may come again even though [they] gave him the head of [their] kill to eat (Golding 177). They blame the beast for Simon s death, since the beast is supposedly using Simon as a disguise. Jack and his tribe know they are at complete fault for his death, yet do not want to acknowledge or be responsible for their actions. They believe that blaming the creature on the island will prove their innocence of the situation. Furthermore, in the novel, Piggy comforts Ralph by stating that it was an accident, ... that s what is was. An accident. His voice shrilled again. Coming in the dark he had no business crawling like that out of the dark. He was batty. He asked for it (Golding 173). Ralph and Piggy do not blame themselves for taking part in killing Simon because acknowledging their wrong would mean they would have to accept the fact that they are no longer superior to Jack and his tribe. Ralph and Piggy use blaming as a defense mechanism, allowing them to eliminate their guilt and for them to continue to believe they are still good within, not evil. To sum up, the act of deflecting the blame off one s self so that one is not held responsible and to also rid of their guilt to remain superior, is where the evil trait in ... Over the past few years there have been a couple of cases that raised the questions of when eminent domain should be used. One of the most controversial cases in the history of the United States was the Kelo v New London Supreme Court ruling. In order to generate tax revenue, add jobs, and to prevent bankruptcy, the government s right to initiate eminent domain for public good is a necessary evil. Which would cause the city to grow and that would provide more money to the government with the increased tax revenue from all of the new families. This could create more jobs, because more companies might be interested in locating there due to all of the growth. Eminent domain should also be used by a city or state if it prevents it from going bankrupt. A city or state should use eminent domain if it prevents it from going bankrupt. If a city is near bankrupt then it cannot provide all of the necessary items that a city needs in order to run like it is supposed to. For example, if a city is short of funds then it would have to reduce its budget in places that would harm the city. It would have to cut money from the police, and fire departments. However, by using their eminent domain powers a city could keep all of this from happening by letting a business come that would create thousands in tax dollars, and add jobs to the city. This means that a reduction in the police and fire departments would not happen and the city would still run smoothly. The cities and states that use eminent domain to acquire land in order to keep themselves running smoothly is sad; however, these cities and states are looking out for what is best for their areas. Emilia In Shakespeare s Othello Although partially responsible for contributing to the tragedy of Othello and death of Desdemona, Emilia is still considered to be one of the play s most positive characters. In the Shakespeare play, Othello, Emilia is seen as one of the strongest of the female characters. Emilia is the wife of Iago and the attendant of Desdemona. She is a dynamic character who changes through the course of the play and also makes the argument, in a discussion with Desdemona, for equal social rights of women, or at least as much as one could as a woman could in the early 1600s. Emilia becomes more and more loyal to Desdemona while at the same time becomes less loyal towards her husband Iago. The relationship between Emilia and Desdemona intensifies as the play continues. The two characters are foils for each other. Emilia is the wise, motherlike figure who is a critic of men s actions towards women. She makes the argument that women have the same desires and wants as men. In this famous monologue, the audience sees that Emilia is observant and astute. When compared side by side to Desdemona, Emilia s qualities are enhanced. Emilia foils Desdemona s naive, childish, innocent, character. However, even though Desdemona is a contrast to Emilia s wisdom and astuteness, Desdemona s naiveté and warm heartedness also has its benefits. Even though Emilia is a foil to Desdemona, Emilia s character attributes do not take away from the warmness of heart and innocence seen in Desdemona. In a state of liberty, children began to spend most of their time outside playing. Oh yea, keys! Why can t I find them anywhere? Yes, I found them. According to The Motivational Function of Preschooler s Private Speech (2000) Vygotsky said language is first used for social communication as children acquire speech during social interactions. Furthermore, the most significant moment in children cognitive development occurs when they begin to use language not only for communication with others but also as a tool to direct their own thoughts and behaviors. Therefore meaning private speech is a precursor to inner speech, as a child develops, inner speech also develops and the child will become able to use symbolic thought. Any utterance that does not meet any of these criteria for social speech is classified as private speech. Utterance refers to a complete unit of speech that a person speaks. • 14. Narrative Essay On Missions Trip Over the summer I went to Nashville, Tennessee for a missions trip with my youth group. During the trip, I experienced many awkward and embarrassing situations that I wish I didn t have to live through. Even though there were powerful worship services, memories made, and friendships formed, the week was pretty hectic. There were three particular incidents that really stick out when I think of Missions Trip 2016. These incidents include an atrocious crew and crew leader, a flirtatious man, and a scary church where we stayed. The first incident happened upon being assigned to an awful crew. The crew leader, Pete, was the worst of them all. He was immature and a total stick in the mud. For example, he never showed up to help us on the nights our crew had to clean up after dinner or when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He got super worried. Oh , uh, nevermind, he muttered. He walked away pretty quickly. I m already an anxious mess, so when I had to take the kids into his classroom the rest of the week it was extremely nerve wracking. The last incident was when we got to the place we were staying. The church where we were housed was so old, the missions trip leaders had to have us choose between air conditioning and charging our electronics! In Tennessee, air conditioning is the obvious choice. All the youth groups were separated into different rooms, when usually each youth group has their own rooms. I didn t enjoy that. The church was in the middle of the ghetto, too! On the fourth of July, no one was sure if the bangs we heard were fireworks or gunshots. I was scared. Hopefully, next year will be less ... The Bible has around 40 contributors, but only one real author, which is God. According to the authors of Who Were the Authors , Humanly speaking, the Bible was written by approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 1500 years. God guided these men to write this piece of literature for future Christians. The Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew while the New Testament was originally written in Greek. No specific person has ever been named to be the author of Gilgamesh, which was written in cuneiform, as it is one of the oldest pieces of literature in the world. This [Gilgamesh] story contains the closest parallels to the biblical account... writes Lloyd Bailey. Both Gilgamesh and the Bible have two big floods that change humanity in more ways than one. To really understand and compare the floods in the Epic of Gilgamesh and the Bible, both pieces of literature need to be thoroughly examined in every way that their natural disasters are similar and different: the creators and their reasons for making the floods, the hero of the flood, the period of grace, the two arks and their passengers, and the bird scene. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is an essential component of BI for arriving at valid business decisions. Similar data can be stored in multiple repositories within a single business; one example would be the inventory of items for sale. When considering data sources, it is important to understand if there is a recognized authoritative source for a specific type of data. In many enterprises, the data required for making business decisions is created by wide ranging applications, perhaps from separate lines of business (Theme 1). BI systems today have the capacity to work with numerous types of data such as numerical or non numerical data. The quality of this data is as important as any other data. The difference in the level of data quality is one of the many factors that may explain why some organizations are successful with their BI initiative while some are not so successful (Isik, O., Jones, M.C., Sidoroya, A. 2011). Agriculture During the Industrial Revolution many major improvements were made to fundamental areas in society such as agriculture, textile and metal manufacturing, transportation, economic policies, and social structure (Montagna, The Industrial Revolution). Changes within the agriculture industry were a central part of industrial change due to the large position that agriculture contributed to raw materials in the textile industry. Agriculture specifically gave to the demand for products such as wool and cotton which contributed to the production of cloth. Additionally, the advancement of metal allowed for better farming tools which allowed for technical advancements in the way that crops were harvested. The ultimate importance in the changes made to the agriculture industry revolved around food availability. The changes in technology and advancements in crop rotation made it possible to feed large populations of people. The agricultural changes provided enough food to sustain a sufficient workforce, which additionally allowed expansion of industry and resulted in economic expansion (Montagna, The Industrial Revolution). It is known for its speed and takes the shape of a torpedo. In its environment, the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna acts as one of the top predators. It preys on smaller fish, such as herring, mackerel and eels. The Atlantic Bluefin Tuna is separated into two main populations, Eastern and Western. Although located in different geographical areas they are not isolated and individuals migrate between the two populations allowing gene flow. The Atlantic Bluefin Tuna s population ranges all through the pelagic zone of the Atlantic. The Western Atlantic population spawns in the Gulf of Mexico, and the Eastern Atlantic population spawns in the Mediterranean Sea. In the fishing industry it is highly coveted for sports fishing, especially in the United States and Canada, and in the sashimi market for high end sushi. As a result of the high demands for the Tuna it is being heavily overfished causing the population to decline dramatically. The low supply and high demand for the Tuna has made them extremely valuable; a single fish in Tokyo s Tsukiji fish market sold for 1.76 million dollar (Bluefin, 2013). Throughout much of the story, Nathan Marx is lost between his role as a sergeant, Jew and human being. The relationship between the church, state and individual is a well known concept. The three must be independent of each other and this story explores what happens when the three are forced together. His religion starts the whole process of the three intertwining. The theme with Jewishness has much to do with Nathan Marx, the defender mentioned in the title. He unknowingly fights the good war against anti Semitism in the European theatre of war and comes back to train more soldiers against the Axis powers. In the process he cares for his Jewish trainees in terms of weekly rituals and diet and gives them leeway. Marx went out of his way to please Grossbart, in fact he even conflicted with his Captain on numerous occasions about food and combat. Grossbart was simply manipulating and abusing the religion for his own gain. When Marx realizes this, he once again fights back by sending him to the Pacific. The war and decisions made in boot camp were tough times for Marx, a lot like the suffering of Jews throughout history. Either way, he perseveres and wins both his battles against the Nazis, the ignorance of his colleagues and the manipulation of Grossbart.
