their house. Tommo wanted to join the army too and wasn t going to let others talk him out of
it. Charlie lying to the sergeant is acceptable in this circumstance and also helps prove breaking
the rules in certain scenarios is okay. Page number is 107. Charlie was asked to put a bag over
his head however he didn t want to lose his dignity or honour. Breaking the rules here showed
the courage he had at that certain. It was important for that Charlie didn t wimp out and put a
bag over his head. Also, Charlie left the bag off his head to remind the gunman of what he has
done and give him a sense of remorse. Page number is 184. Breaking the rules in this circumstance
was important because it he was protecting his brother Tommo. He did it because the Sargent was
working Tommo too hard to the point of unconsciousness. Breaking the rules here is certainly okay
because his was protecting his brother, however if it wasn t his brother the circumstances wouldn t
