Deep ecology is about always asking questions about human life, nature, and society.
Deep ecology is more meditative and goes beyond the factual scientific level, to the
level of self and Earth wisdom. It goes beyond a shallow approach to environmental

So, we had been in Italy for over a week and we decided to go sightseeing to see
some of the countryside and believe it or not not go birding. The small nation of
San Marino, about two hours away from the Roberti s house in Albinea, was our
goal. This would be a new country for both of our life lists and neither of us knew
anything about it, other than they produced a lot of neat postage stamps. Located
in the middle of Italy, we had to rely on our GPS to get us to San Marino as we had

David Lehman is an artist that speaks for the modern generations in his poetry
collection When a Woman Loves a Man. In addition to producing his own works he
teaches his craft at NYU and the New School in their graduate programs. While his
prior mentioned collection includes an entire section of love poetry, it is impossible to
simply categorize Lehman as just a love poet because he is also a life poet.
