Writing A Literature Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Writing A Literature Essay" is a challenging task that
requires a delicate balance of analytical skills, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of
literary concepts. It demands the ability to delve into complex literary works, extract meaningful
insights, and articulate them coherently in written form. The process involves thorough research,
close reading, and interpretation of literary texts, which can be both time-consuming and
mentally taxing.
One of the primary difficulties lies in navigating the vast landscape of literature itself. Deciding
on a specific theme, selecting relevant texts, and honing in on a thesis that contributes
meaningfully to the discourse are intricate processes. The writer must not only be well-versed in
the chosen literary works but also possess the skill to connect various elements and ideas to
construct a compelling argument.
Another challenge is striking the right balance between personal interpretation and scholarly
analysis. Integrating one's perspective while maintaining objectivity and adhering to academic
conventions requires finesse. Proper citation of sources and the incorporation of literary criticism
add further layers of complexity to the writing process.
Moreover, expressing complex ideas with clarity is an art in itself. Crafting a well-structured

Personal Statement For Architecture
Architecture is just visual art unless you put a function to the creation. My passion
for arts was identified by my parents when I was in Class 9, which gave me an insight
and motivation of wanting to do something creative. I pursued architecture from Babu
Banarasi Das University which soon made me realize that learning architecturegives
me immense eternal joy and satisfaction. My interest in designing and sketching is
also in line with the study of history of Architecture, urban design, landscape
architecture, graphics and communications. Therefore, I extend my great desire to
pursue my education in a safe and a beautiful country like Australia.

Methamphetamine Essay
Methamphetamine is a powerful and dangerous drug. It has the reputation as being a
delightful and sneaky drug that robs your body of life. Although it has been around
for over sixty years, it is only in the last 30 years that people have realized what a
significant problem it has caused. Treatment for Methamphetamineremains mainly in
the experimental stages and needs more research to find the exact treatment protocol.
Methamphetamine addiction is extremely hard to treat (Lee Rawson, 2009). The
main reasons are due to the length of time it takes for the drug to pass through the
body. Depending how much and how long the drug has been used determines the best
course of treatment for a client(Inaba Cohen, 2011). A person may need... Show more

Cognitive Behavior Therapy teaches the client to deals with these side effects by
being able to process the information without feeling scared. During the sessions, the
patient can liberate themselves from fear, desperation, and suicidal thoughts. It
allows the client to build skills that will help them cope with these feelings and
cravings for the drug (Baker Lee, 2005).
In a study by Hawkins et.al, it was found the skills training was not as effective
after six months, but some of the techniques remained. During the time, a person is
involved in the treatment usage either stops or reduces significantly. It has also
been used successfully in the inpatient setting. The use of this therapy does
decrease the relapse rate. However, a study by Hawkins et.al, found that after 12
months, the skills were not remembered as well as at the time of discharge.
However, some of the skills did remain and help to avoid a relapse. Therefore, using
it as a single form of treatment might not be the best choice(Therci Alexandar, 2006).
It has worked well in combination with other treatment models.
The Community Reinforcement Program is a type of contingency program that uses
a voucher system to reward clients for not using Methampetamine or other
drugs(Meyers Squire, N.D.). The goal is to keep consumers in treatment longer. The
focus is to keep them active in groups. If the clients remain in the group, it benefits

The Federalist Papers
Introduction
The Federalist Papers present a series of essays written by James Madison,
Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay. This volume of eighty five essays, written
between October 1787 and May 1788, is perhaps the most famous, and at the same
time the most important newspaper column ever published. These essays are
considered to be among the most important documents of the Founding period,
together with the Constitution and Civil Rights Act. In these essays the authors
provided facts and justification for the Constitution, with also raising and discussing
some of the most important political issues of the time. The sole purpose for writing
the essays was to convince people of the State of New York to ratify the U.S.
Constitution. People of New York and its political leaders were strongly against the
Constitution and they firmly opposed new government. The main reason for that is
the fact that the State of New York gain independence under the Articles of
Confederation and was becoming rich trough the trade. The citizens of this state
believed that they have no interest in ratifying the Constitution and joining the Union.
The writers of The Federalist Papers were very concerned that because of New York
s reluctance and decided to take the matter into their hands and came all the efforts in
order to change their minds. They were very well aware of the relationship between
human nature and popular government. Hamilton, Madison and Jay were
apprehensive of the ethics of the
Jasper Jones Attitudes
English Essay Valuable texts examine challenging ideas and attitudes. In Jasper
Jones, a text valued for its insights and ideas, Craig Silvey outlines many ideas and
attitudes that challenge the social perception and understanding of today. Firstly, he
examines how people s external appearances do not reflect their thoughts, actions
and true selfs. Secondly, he investigates scapegoats and shows how many people
who have responsibility thrust it on to other people, or in some cases, how people
thrust this responsibility onto themselves. Thirdly, he examines how social structures
and legal systems are working, and how nothing is as fair as it is meant to be.
Through these examples, he analyses, describes, and presents these ideas under the

This was helped in 1965 by a general distrust of members of other races due to high
feelings of racism, and how people gossip and words spread and mistrust leads to
blame. And even others will put blame on themselves due to a sense of honour and
duty. Charlie realises this when his narrative voice states that, ...a girl goes
missing in town and it s Jasper Jones who is held and threatened...but somehow
those monsters will arouse no suspicion. This shows that the level of mistrust,
prejudice and racism against Jasper, a half Aboriginal, is so great that no matter
what happens or who does it, people will always turn it back to Jasper, the
scapegoat, and ignore the true perpetrators. Their belief is so real that Jasper says
that, They [townspeople] all suspect it. They expect it. Of course he s a thief, they
say. Of course he burned down the post office. Of course he hanged that poor girl.
That poor girl. This shows that immediately, without a second thought, they blame
Jasper for the crime. Through exaggeration, it shows that the racism in this town is
so strong and people are instantly ready to turn the blame on him. And Jasper
reveals how the whole town thinks, echoing them in his slightly bitter recount:
They don t know sh*t about what it is to be me. They never ask why. Why would
he be stealin ? They reckon it s my nature. Like I don t know any better. Through his
dialogue with Charlie, Jasper reveals the sad truth of how people don t try to
understand him, but circulate rumours around each other which people and slowly
turn into what the town believes is fact. However, Jasper Jones is not the only one to
feel this blame. Eliza Wishart takes the blame upon herself for not stopping her sister
from committing suicide, saying

Essay on Evaluating the Current Law on Abortion
Evaluating the Current Law on Abortion
An abortion is the ending of a pregnancy before the foetus is developed enough to
survive outside of the womb (viability). Abortion can be accidental (miscarriage) or
deliberate (termination). The legal definition of Abortion is the intentional
destruction of the foetus in the womb, or any untimely delivery brought about with
intent to cause the death of the foetus (William, textbook, 252)
Medical definition is the removal or expulsion of the products of conception before,
but after, the foetus is viable (Butterworths Medical dictionary 2nd edn 1978)

The Harlem Renaissance s Influence On People s Views On...
Travel back in time several centuries ago to the 1900 s and imagine how different
life would be oil lamps/candles, outhouses or one toilet shared between several
people, movies known as flickers and lasting no longer than 10 minutes, no
television, ice boxes as opposed to refrigerators, baseball being the main sport that
people followed as opposed to football, and unless you were a White male, your
lifestyle was not filled with many opportunities or rights. With slavery being
abolished not too long ago, discrimination and segregation was still widely accepted
and practiced. Life was much different back then. Although people were heavily
being judged for the color of their skin, a movement called the Harlem Renaissance
had a major influence on people s views on African Americans across the United
States. The Harlem Renaissance created a new Black cultural identity through
literature, music, theater, art, and politics. One of the leading voices was Langston
Hughes, a writer whom wrote realistic portrayals, both suffering and victories of
African American lifestyles through poetry, short stories, novels, and plays. Through
short, effective, and expressive words, Langston Hughes s poetry promoted African
American culture and also addressed the oppression and injustice of African
Americans.
Our story starts from year 1916 to 1970, when more than 6 million African Americans
relocated from the Southern states to the Northern states in an epidemic known as the
Great Migration.
Sheriff and Rick Tyler Essay
Kenneth Toles Professor Busby Literature 221 November 23, 2014 Rick Tyler:
The American To be truly American is a hard thing to achieve. There are so many
different ways to live life. The American way, of course, is the easy way. At least,
that is the common perception of the American way. The whole world sees America
as a lazy country that does not even want to keep its own companies in it. America
outsources, takes what other countries have discovered, and incorporates other
countries ideals in the creation of everyday products. On the inside, down deep,
America is beautiful. America has always been known as one of the greatest
countries, since it was established. For decades, it has been known as the land of the

He was running because it was the easiest way out of the situation. He ran because
staying around meant he had to go to jail, then to court. He was afraid that going to
court would lead to him doing life in prison. He was charged with murder, after all,
and he was innocent. Understandably, no one wants to do time in prison, especially
when they are innocent. America, in comparison to Rick Tyler, could be looked at
like a figurative fugitive. The country has been under constant ridicule from other
countries, claiming that America has been nothing but a bully. America has been
the fugitive on the run for years, with many countries claiming America has many
bad things to answer for. America, to them, has been dodging the questions, and
many countries believe that America deserves all of the bad things it gets. Rick
Tyler ran, and people seemed to have mixed emotions about the situation. There
were people who were happy to see Rick Tyler running and still free. Then, on the
other hand, there were people who did not care about the situation either way. The
people who did not seem to care about Rick Tyler just wanted to collect the bounty
on him. This particular part of Rick Tyler s situation can be compared to America s
current situation with the Islamic State, also known as ISIS. Just like there were
unexpected people willing to betray Rick Tyler, there are people in America that are
capturing and murdering people for ISIS. Rick Tyler was faced
Anorexia Vs. Bulimia Nervosa
Anorexia vs. Bulimia
In our culture today, people concerned with the way they look to a high extent, how
much they weight, their physical appearances and how to change a body part they
do not like. Anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa are eating disorders that affect a
person s weight to an extreme due to wanting to be thinner when in reality they are
already thin to the bone. Both disorders have their similarities and differences from
their main obsession of body weight to how they try to lose it.
Anorexia nervosa is a disorder discovered by the English doctor Richard Martin.
Anorexia is a distortion of one s body image and intense fear of gaining weight.

The basic metabolic response to starvation is to conserve body tissues and energy.
However, the body will also start to use its own tissue, including muscle and organs,
for energy since the body has no food to use. The liver and intestines will usually
lose the highest percentage of their own weight during starvation, followed by the
heart and the kidneys; they both lose a descent amount of weight. Further effects of
anorexia nervosa may include kidneys stones and even kidney failure.
Treatment for anorexia can include both medical treatment and/or psychological
counseling. A person with anorexia may be treated in an outpatient setting, or
hospitalization might also be necessary. When someone has had a great amount of
weight loss that has impaired organ function, hospital treatment must primarily focus
on malnutrition; tube feeding that goes past the mouth may be required. One to
three pounds per week is reasonable weight gain when nutrition must be improved.
For individuals who have suffered from anorexia for several years, the goals of
treatment may need to be achieved more slowly in order to prevent the anorexia
sufferer from relapsing as a result of being overwhelmed by treatment.
Bulimia was discovered by Prof. Gerald Russell in the year 1979, when he was
serving at the Royal Free Hospital in London. His discovery gained official
recognition as a serious disorder by the American Psychiatric
Ethnic Conflicts in Nigeria
The military elites made the situation even worse by staging coups and making a
mockery of democracy in Nigeria. The military era was marked by corruption,
ineptitude and confusion. It drove Nigeria into many problems including economic
problems, poverty, and ethno religious conflicts until the 1990s. The military
continued intervening because they believed the civilian leaders were inept and
indecisive.
Ethnic conflicts continued to escalate through the democratic transition in Nigeria, as
various ethnic groups demanded political restructuring. The federal structure has
developed deep cracks and demands urgent action to fix it. What is most worrisome
in Nigeria is the religious dimension of ethnic conflict and competition for power and
oil wealth. The numerous ethno religious conflicts that the northern cities of Kaduna,
Kano, Jos and Zamfara have witnessed, came about from the introduction of Muslim
Sharia courts, in addition to the South s demands for autonomy. The continuing
conflict is a sign Nigeria s lack of effective mechanisms to manage ethnic conflicts.
The intense ethnic conflicts that rocked Nigeria and South Africa have pushed them
to develop constitutionally backed institutions for conflict management. In South
Africa, the state has prevented further conflicts by developing multiple democratic
approaches to create a foundation for peace and security. The new constitutioncrafted
an impressive document aimed to heal the wounds of the past and to build a
The Pit And The Pendulum Gothic Elements
Gothic literature was a significant style of writing in the late 1700s and 1800s. It
involves several different elements, such as imprisonment, doppelgangers,
claustrophobia, haunted settings, unreliable narrators, the Spanish Inquisition,
curses, and supernatural elements; therefore, The Pit and the Pendulum by Edgar
Allen Poe is an excellent example of gothic literature. This story includes many
gothic elements, each of which contributes to the horrifying atmosphere of the
story. The feeling of claustrophobia, the unreliable narrator, and the imprisonment
of the narrator are the three most significant gothic elements in The Pit and the
Pendulum. Imprisonment is an element of considerable importance in Gothic
literature, and it also plays a sizable part in The Pit and the Pendulum. The narrator is
imprisoned in a vault due to his capture during the Spanish Inquisition. He is later
bound to a board of some type which he describes as a species of low framework of
wood. (Poe 134) He also says he was securely bound by a long strap resembling a
surcingle. (Poe 134) His head and the part of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The narrator, who goes unnamed for the duration of the story, is in and out of
consciousness, and suffers from a loss of some of his senses on more than one
occasion, which highlights the fact that his interpretation is not completely
accurate. In the beginning of the story he even says I felt that my senses were
leaving me. (Poe 126) His water must have been drugged, for scarcely had I drunk,
before I became irresistibly drowsy. (Poe 133) He also seems to be of an unsound
mind, due to his idea that the candles may be his saviors. At first they wore the
aspect of charity, and seemed white slender angels who would save me. (Poe 127)
but they slowly turn into meaningless spectres (Poe 127) and realises that from them

Why Do Liquid-Liquid Extracts
In general, during the summer term 2016, I learned the procedures to prepare
silicone pellets, perform liquid liquid extractions, concentrating the extracted
fractions to a smaller volume using concentration tubes and also performed an
intake uptake experiment using the silicon pellets prepared. I also filled up the
M1 form and it is already approved. The preparation of pellets consisted of cutting a
silicone sheet with a hole puncher to get a uniform and constant size for each plug.
The pellets were placed in a rounded flask connected to a soxhlet extractor and for
32h are constantly washed with methylene chloride at 50В°C. Once the required
time was completed, the pellets went into the incubator for a period of 3 days and
finally they were completely dried in an oven for 3h at a constant temperature of
200В°C.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The liquid extraction was done by using three batches of methylene chloride of 25
ml each. The solution was passed through a funnel containing sodium sulfate and
wool to absorb any possible contaminants and water residue. After this procedure
was performed several small boiling chips were added to the round flasks and the
solution was then evaporated to a very small volume. The solution was then
transferred to concentration tubes and further evaporated to a volume of 1 mL by
constantly adding a solution of hexane so that all of the methylene chloride was
replaced. As a final step, 50 Вµl of TMX and OC standard were added to the
extraction
Circuit Of Logisim That Controls An Entry Gate
CS25410 Assignment Report
The task was to implement a circuit in logisim that controls an entry gate. The gate
has 3 possible inputs; a ВЈ1 coin paid in, a ВЈ2 coin paid in or the cancel button
pressed. The gate must store the amount of money paid in and has four possible
behaviours for outputs. Once the gate has received ВЈ4 it must open, in terms of
implementation a LED must light up and stay lit until another input is received, any
extra money in the machine must count towards the next entry fee. The other
behaviours are based off when the cancel button is pressed, a LED relating to the
amount of money paid into the machine towards an entry fee e.g. a ВЈ1 LED if ВЈ1
is in memory etc. up to the maximum of ВЈ3, In the circuit these LED s must stay on
until the next input.
The general structure of my implementation can be split up into three segments;
Input, storage, and output. In the input section there are 2 bits of memory to
temporarily store the 3 different inputs, 01 representing ВЈ1, 10 representing ВЈ2 and
11 representing cancel pressed. This memory is cleared once it has been clocked
into the main storage of the system. The storage is implemented with 3 bits of
memory as there are 6 possible states for the memory, ВЈ0 to ВЈ5, the 1 and 2 bit are
only affected once an input has been clocked in however the 4 bit is only affected
by the carry bit of the 2 bit memory and is cleared as soon as an input button has
been pressed as this was part of the assignment specification.

Moby Dick Reflection
Last weekend, specifically, on Saturday November 18, 2017 I received the
opportunity to attend a Moby Dick reading at Venice beach. For this reading I
chose to read the chapter Ramadan for several reasons with a group of my friends.
Initially during the summer, when we first had to read this novel this chapter was by
far one of my favorites because it depicts the humor author Herman Melvilleinstilled
in his work. Additionally, this chapter involved a wide range of events emotions
felt by the narrator and thus transferred to the reader. Due to the wide range of
emotions within the chapter my group and I wanted to truly emphasis the panic
felt by Ishmael when he notices Queequeg concealed behind the closed door. From
the panic felt by Ishmael to the eccentric nature of Mrs.Hussey we aspired to
capture it all through our voices. When I first arrived at Venice a rush of gusty
wind filled the air and the smell of the salty ocean encompassed my lungs. As I
began my trek towards the Moby Dick reading I saw a large congregation of other
Oak Park students, I could recognize due to their Oak Park High School clothing.
Upon arrival, I instantly heard the harsh waves crashing against the soft sand,
leaving a virtually untouched path of sand after their arrival. This process of
purifying the sand reminded me of the purity embodied by Ishmael during the start
of the novel. Since I arrived early Saturday morning, a multitude of people were
constantly arriving to see what was going
My Field Placement At The Puerto Rican Family Institute...
I am currently doing my field placement at the Puerto Rican Family Institute clinic in
Brooklyn, NY. The mission statement for the organization is, to enhance the
functioning and self sufficiency of diverse marginalized communities and prevent
family disintegration. I am currently doing individual, family, couples, and group
psychotherapyat the outpatient clinic. The clinic is in a lower socioeconomic area in
Bushwick, that is currently in the process of gentrification. The program that I work
in specifically, offers both therapeutic and psychiatric services for the patients that are
enrolled in the program.
The client population that we serve primarily has Medicaid, and the clinic does
have a sliding scale for those who do not have insurance. Anyone from the ages of
5 99 years old can receive services through the organization. The majority of the
population primarily speak Spanish and are of the Hispanic descent. Many of the
patients that are seen at the clinic have a wide range of diagnosis such as:
depression, bi polar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, and schizophrenia. The patients are in
the lower income bracket, and are working between 1 2 jobs to support their family.
Many times they live with many other family members in a small and/or temporary
housing unit.
My position within the agency is very clinical. We are suggested to see our patients

The Tin Flute Analysis
Gabrielle Roy s novel the tin flute takes place in Saint Henri neighbourhood of
Montreal, Quebec during the Second War World. This novel examines many
themes, literary devices and important aspects seen through the perspective of the
Lacasse family as they struggle through life in poverty. At the beginning, it is seen
that a 19 year old girl, who works as a waitress at the Five and Ten restaurant
named Florentine is the main focus, but the novel revolves around Florentine s
mother, Rose Anna. Rose Anna represents many themes throughout the story such
as, personal loss, struggle and solitude, which presents her as a round character.
Firstly, Rose Anna experiences loss when she loses three of her eleven children at
a young age, she lost her son Daniel who died from Leukemia, her son EugГЁne
and her husband Azarius to the war and Florentine to marriage. Her loss is only a
part of her struggles, Rose Anna and her family struggle through life because they
live in poverty. Rose Anna represents struggle because she must take care of eleven
children as well as another one coming on the way. While, Florentine and EugГЁne
are forced to work for a living to earn money for rent and food, instead of going to
school. This demonstrates Rose Anna as a round character because she always
blamed Azarius for their poverty, but by the end, she realized that she always held
[Azarius] responsible for their poverty, but now it seemed to her he had done his part
(Roy 372). The last theme that
Self Portrait With Monkeys Frida Kahlo
Self Portrait with Monkeys was painted by Frida Kahlo in 1943. Frida was born in
Coyocan, Mexico in 1907 (Morrison). She was one of six daughters. At the age of
six, she contracted polio and at the age of eighteen she was in a serious accident.
After the wreck, she was unable to complete her testing in school. She would later
marry another famous artist, Diego Rivera. They would later divorce around the time
of Kahlo gaining fame. Her art often had a dark theme, including the piece Self
Portrait with Monkeys. Her work is considered primitivism, indigenism and
Surrealism ( Frida KahloBiography, Art, and Analysis of Works ).
Kahlo was an average young woman until an accident forever changed her life.
Kahlo, who was eighteen at the time, was with her friend when they stepped onto a
new model bus (Morrison). The bus turned out to be dangerous in a collision,
because it splintered and a metal handrail impelled her. At the time, Kahlo was
unaware of her injuries and the severities of them. The injuries would go on to affect
her for the rest of her life. The aftermath began the artist s dark turn on herself
reflection.
In the aftermath of her wreck, Kahlo began to paint as a form of therapy
(Morrison). Her purpose was to heal and to express herself. She had studied art in
school, however she did not focus on it until her recovery. Her mother encouraged
her artwork and helped make it possible by providing a mirror for Kahlo to use to
view her artwork while laying down.

This type of financing also hinders an entrepreneur s ability for expansive growth in
the beginning stages, thus creating a restricted consumer base.
Establishing Structure of A Business
Another hurdle in starting a business is deciding what type of structure an individual
would want to run it under. The legality issues, involving debt liabilities and the
taxation of profits can provide even the savviest entrepreneur with unwanted
nuisances. Without the proper structure, not only could a business owner receive
civil liability from the IRS but criminal actions could be taken as well. Knowing
exactly what guidelines constitute for each entity available is vital for a business to
survive. (Structure) For example, a limited liability allows a proprietor to report
profits and losses on their personal income tax return, while under a corporation they
cannot. Having legal input will help tremendously in reducing the risk, but any owner
should be aware of the entity laws within their state as well.
After a businessperson establishes the corporate structure of how their business will
run, the next barrier would be the hiring of staff to keep the business running. Many
entrepreneur s in the beginning stages choose the most cost effective, stable form of
staff; doing most of the work for themselves. However for the others, the business is
just simply too large for one to handle.
This is the instance where an owner

Persuasive Essay On Athletes
Somewhere at this very moment someone is arguing and complaining about the
unfair and unequal society. One of those unfair situations is the salaries among
professional athletes and how their bank accounts are filling up with enormous
paychecks. Athletes are active workers just like others, they go to work and they
perform. What happens if they do not perform? They will get fired. So just
because athletes work with what they are meant to do does not give the right to
complain about how unfair life is. Almost everyone has the opportunity to choose
their own path, whether it is to be a professional athlete, salesman or a plumber.
Athletes choose their way of life, and just because of individual failures or
different careers the blame is put on athletes and their work. Now that is unfair
and unequal Everyone can throw a ball into a basket, kick a ball into the net, or
shoot a puck into a goal. How is it that athletes run around on a field and earn
millions of dollars, while a doctor that saves lives earn hundreds of thousands of
dollars less? That s easy, they do not have that talent. The best basketball player in
the history of the game, Michael Jordan played in the NBA for 15 seasons where he
compiled 1,072 games whereof 1,039 from start. During this period, he gathered a
total of 32,292 points, 6,672 rebounds, 5,663 assists, 2,514 steals and 893 blocks

Essay about The Beef with TV
Television: Our Nations Drug of Choice
Television is our era s escape from what we now consider a chaotic struggle of life.
I think we as a people feel life can be solved in an hour long Monday night special
and that exact attitude is our society s problem today. Frankly we are a group of
cowards who do not take the bull by the horns; rather we retreat to routine episode
line up that we can supposedly relate to. Ladies and gentlemen we need to break
free like Plato s slave in the myth of the cave, by realizing that life is not Ragged,

into the beyond.

TV gazing can be detrimental to the human body. The body burns calories to a large
extent slower because of the immobility of watching the tube. Body metabolism and
calorie burning is an average of 14.5 percent lesser when watching TV than when
basically lying down in bed. A good question to ask as well is, mentally what does
the television shows do to our children s ability to function in the world? Kids,
mainly girls, are a more likely than grown ups to be portrayed as sufferers of
brutality on the box, and this can make them more terrified of the world they live in,
rendering them incapable of normal functions, such as commuting to work, walking
in parks, etc. etc. Some of the most violent TV shows are children s cartoons
(Dragon Ball Z, Batman, Looney Tunes), in which violent behavior is seen as cool
and at time entertaining and the real outcome of bloodshed are not really revealed,
leaving today s youth to make their own ending to the coyote s unfortunate plummet

Whatever happened to the inevitable but informative Birds and the Bees speech from
our parents? Youngsters nowadays are surrounded with sex symbols, sexual

Orson Welles Use Of Montages In The Film Citizen Kane
Citizen Kane by Orson Welles is a story that was made for excellence. However,
since it was about William Randolph Hearst, it did not do too well. Many movies
didn t want to play the film because they were scared of Hearst and his power.
Although, many could not see the movie it still became one of the greatest films ever
made through its uncommon angles, montages, and lighting. One of the most famous
scenes in filmis the beginning where Charles Foster Kanedies after saying rosebud.
What makes this scene so great was the camera angle. The snow globe that Kane
drops after his death created an angle never before seen. This angle allowed for the
intensity of the scene to increase as it emphasizes the nurse running in the room and
the broken globe to show Kane s world as comes crashing down on him. Another
interesting camera angle is when Kane is being taken away from his mother where
both her and Kane are visible and in full focus. Along with this angle it also has a
smooth transition from the angle of the mother and sliding through the window to
allow for the new scene. These... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first montage seen is the March of Time Newsreel. This reel is very important
as it tells us that Charles Foster Kane dies and gives us a backstory on his ridiculous
life. Another important montage in the story was after Kane got married to his first
wife, Emily Kane. This montage shows him and his new wife happy at the table.
Going through many weeks and months this montage shows the transition Kane and
his wife has just through the being at the dinner table. At first, they are lovey dovey
sitting close to each other, then Emily starts talking about how he is always at work
which leads to them sitting away from each other by the end of the montage reading
opposite newspapers. The montage are really important but the lighting allows the
story to really stand
Christianity, Judaism, And Christianity
In my opinion if you would have asked me this one year ago if there was afterlife, I
would of told you no. Once upon a time I believe when you die you stay in the
ground and your soul would stay there as well. I couldn t imagine that there was a
hell, heaven (paradise to some) or even a purgatory. That all change a few month ago
when I learn that some people and some religion might believe what they want to. In
this essay I have picked three religion Islam, Judaism, and Christianityto explain what
each of them have and to be able to show the similarity and difference among them
about the afterlife. Although each religion has its own goal, they however are similar
in belief. I have found that these three religion are known as the... Show more content

No one know really know how the Heaven looks like only to be known as a
wonderful and beautiful place. There is also a place that most Christian Catholic
believe if you aren t meant to be sent to Hell or Heaven, there is a third place to be
sent to call Purgatory. Purgatory is where most Christians stay until called for to
see if they deserve to be in the heaven. The Protestants do not believe in purgatory.
Now all we have to worry about is when we die, let hope we have no sin and that
for our past sins where wash away and those who did not serve God and have god
in their life, will be judged by their deeds. As for Judaism, there is no forever
between good souls and evil souls which in other religion such as Christianity and
Islam. Judaism believe that the devil can be in heaven. As for Judaism they
believe that death is not the end of human life. However, they are more focus on
life now then think about the afterlife. They can believe whatever they want to
believe but the souls of the good people who have die will go to similar heaven or
to some they will be that reincarnated, or some will wait until the coming of the
messiah , where they will be able to relive. Unlike other Judaism Jews they believe
that the evil souls will be torture by demons of their own thoughts, or that evil souls
will die and not to live ever again.
As for Islam they believe in the Paradise or Jinnah, which be similar to

Queer Theory
In the last 20 years the LGBTQ community has started to receive more amounts of
air time than in years past, this can be both a blessing and a curse, depending on
who is asked (Marshall, 2016). Looking at characters like Will Truman from NBC s
Will Grace to the more recently Cam Tucker from 20th Century Fox s Modern
Family, the representation of gaycharacters is bountiful amounts in modern television.
However, are these representations accurate? Do all members of the LGBTQ
community feel as though they are being accurately represented, and if not how can
this be changed? This essay will be examining different subgroups in the LGBTQ

From public figures like Ellen DeGeneres to several of the Orange is the New
Black stars on Netflix, the amount of women who identify as public figures before
they are lesbians is on the rise (Reed, 2009). When many people hear the term
lesbian , they think of a butch like figure who is full of tattoos and challenges the
dominant heteronormative ideology, but what modern television is seeing is a
large rise of an assimilating affect on lesbian characters, making them easy to
understand for those who are not apart of the LGBTQ community (Reed, 2009).
Representation of characters, and the instances when these diverse charcters get to
take the spot light, does often occur, but within narrow tropes of gay stereotypes
like mentioned before (Saha, 2012). In order to counter act these narrow tropes
and lack of accurate representation, the Gay Lesbian Alliacne Against Defamation

only 1.3% of characters on major networks identified as LGBTQ, which is still

Da Vinci
Da Vinci Battles and Brushstrokes, The Story Of His Lost Masterpiece
Leonardo Da Vinci, the famed Florentine polymath is revered around the world for
his ingenuity, creativity, and adaptability, but even with a huge body of renowned
and legacy inducing work, this Renaissance man still has hidden depths that ought be
shared with a wider audience. Da Vinci was a man immersed in several battles of
varying complexity, both internal and externally in his Italian home.
Many of Leonardos creations were formulated with battles and more specifically war
in mind, the obvious being the many war machines he designed (some of which he
was rumoured to have actually created), but conflict was rife in 16th century Florence
, and this eked its way into Da ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This rivalry between two creative powerhouses did not begin with the
commissioning that would soon be bestowed upon them by Soderini, rather it began
when da Vinci returned to Florence two years after his younger counterpart. Da
Vinci did not like the level of fame reached by this young star (who was at the time
working on the piece that would grant him immortality the statue of David) and he
expected to be treated with the level of respect someone of his stature should demand.
However, instead of this Leonardo with greeted with animosity as Michelangelo paid
no heed to Leonardo s preferred artistic output of paintings, instead he saw sculpture
as the pinnacle of art and creation, claiming that it was easy to correct an error on
canvas, but fixing a mistake in sculpture was nigh on impossible so the greatest artists
must therefore create sculptures. This was something that da Vinci wholeheartedly
disagreed with.
It was therefore difficult for Soderini to find the perfect conditions to convince both
men to accept his challenge, but through a combination of money and the chance to
crush their rivals, both hesitantly accepted. The hesitation on both behalf s came as a
result of the nature of the commission itself, namely that it was a fresco painting that
was required. Leonardo disliked fresco painting due to the perceived rush needed to

uncertainty about the future, and an uncertainty about how to bring direction to the
marriage. Individualized marriage retreats can help you move forward on these

Criticism Of Andrew Clark An American Politician From
The...
I am sure you would agree with me when I say we cannot escape the inevitability
(in ev i ta bility) of criticism. Aristotle once said, Criticism is something we can
avoid easily by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing. But I beg to
disagree because people will criticize you for saying nothing, doing nothing and
being nothing. Someone once said, Criticism is the muck in which the plants of the
Lord grow strong and no child of God should fear Criticism. Criticism has the
potential to help believers in their spiritual growth? Listen to what Frank Clark an
American politician from the early 1900s said, Criticism, like rain, should be gentle
enough to nourish a man s growth without destroying his roots.
Criticism comes in two forms, destructive and constructive. They are both self
explanatory. Nevertheless, destructive criticism has the potential for spiritual growth
but that would depend on the receiver. Destructive criticism can make us look
inwardly ask the deep question, is it true of me. If the criticism levied is true, then
do what needs to be done to correct it. If the criticism is malicious then ignore it and
make sure you do not give your critics ammunition to prove their point.
I would admit that criticism is not always easy to handle. People can be crude but
always remember we are not responsible for the actions of others. We will only
answer to God for our actions. The gospel is bigger than our feelings and has serious
implications for mankind. So

Low Voltage Current Mode Realization of Digital Logic Gates using CMOS
In this paper a new technique is introduced for implementing the basic logic function
by using analog current mode techniques. By expanding the logic function in power
series expression, and using adder and sub tractor realization of the basic logic
function is simplified. To illustrate the proposed technique, a CMOS circuit for
simultaneous realization of the logic function NOT, AND, OR, NAND and XOR is
considered. PSPICE simulation results, obtained with В±2V supply, are included.

In an attempt to answer this question, the translinear principle (Gilbert, 1990) has
been used to realize a digital inverter circuit (Kemp, 1983, 1984) a bistable element
(Seevinck, 1978) and NOT/OR/NAND/XOR functions (M., 2003) . All the
realizations of logic gates in current mode reported in references (Kemp, 1983, 1984;
Seevinck, 1978; M., 2003) use bipolar technology.
In this paper, we present such an approach, a low Voltage CMOS analog digital
circuit in current mode where it works with a supply voltage of VDD= VSS=2V.
The circuit is based on the four quadrant CMOS analog multiplier (Ali et al., 2009).
POWER SERIES REPRESENTATION OF LOGIC FUNCTIONS
Using their truth tables, it is easy to show that the input output relations of the basic
digital logic function can be expressed as (Enab and Zaki, 1993):
Z= 1 Ix (1)
for the NOT operation,
Z= Ix*Iy (2)
for the AND operation,
Z= Ix + Iy Ix*Iy (3)
for the OR operation,
Z= 1 Ix*Iy (4) for the NAND operation, and
Z= Ix + Iy 2Ix*Iy(5)
for the XOR operation.

David and Goliath Analysis Essay
David and Goliath Analysis In the story David and Goliath there is a great lesson
to be learned. The story shows that you should never underestimate your opponent
and be prepared for anything. David s own intellect and knowledge of his own
abilities enabled him to become the smaller, but stronger opponent. It all comes
down to who is the better leader. David was a young shepherd boy who watched
over the sheep while feeding and keeping them safe from the lions and bears.
While watching the sheep David would spend many moments speaking to God and
playing a harp. David s brothers were at the battlefield and one day he was sent to the
battle lines by his father to bring back news of his brothers. (Fairchild, 2012) David

Goliath laughs at the size of David while David is confident with God by his side.
David then uses his sling shot to launch a stone at Goliath s head which knocks
him down on his face. The giant fell allowing David to take his sword and behead
Goliath with it. David took advantage of Goliaths mistakes. He underestimated
David s ability and failed to move out of the way of the rock. If you are prepared
for all obstacles and keep an open mind you are more likely to come out victorious.
David s own intellect and knowledge of his own abilities made Goliath the smaller,
but stronger opponent. This story can be related to the difference between WW1
and WW2. During WW1 trench warfare was used. Trench warfare is a ditch dug
out of the ground to give troops protection from the enemies. The soldiers used
machine guns, mustard and chlorine gases and smokeless gunpowder to ward off
the enemy. Machine guns were the main weapons used by soldiers. However they
needed 4 6 men to man them (Tasker, 2012) and had to be positioned on a flat
surfaces. When the mustard and chlorine gases were released the soldiers had to
take great precaution to not breathe it in because the result is immediate death.
These trenches also carried many diseases and rats making it a harsh condition for
soldiers. By the time of WW2 also known as the Cold War the atomic bomb was
invented. The atomic bomb has the ability to take out an entire city. Russia and the

However, as Americans we are able to turn to what we have learned growing up.
Once we are born our family, siblings, and our own culture influence us. We are
bought up with certain beliefs and traditions. However, I do think that culture does
influences how people are permitted to be expressed and how they are perceived.
As for social experience people react to different experience in different ways. If
someone has been in a certain situation I believe they learn from that experience.
This brings me to the certain unfairness, stereotypes, and myths about Hispanic
/Latino culture. While growing up we experience some of these types of situations.
When we think about a Hispanic/Latino person we think about tamales, tacos, rice
and beans which is a stereotype. However, Susie Jans Thomas wrote Beyond
Tamales, Tacos, and Our Southern Neighbors: Exploring Latino Culture in Child and
Young Adult Literature to show that there is more to them then just those
expressions. I believe we have all experienced or witnessed racism, power abuse,
and felt lost in one point of our lives. This just shows that we need to try to work
harder and together more.
Therefore, I do believe I am a better person today because I came from such a

that is love, religion, and quality time with loved ones. To me this is why the world

Introduction Recent studies on psychology have allowed us to understand how
individuals perceive and experience art. Although the psychology of art dating
back before the 1600 s has been studied to an extent, psychologist have yet to truly
understand contemporary art. The intentions of this research paper is to shed light
on just some of the methodologies and connections contemporary artists may use
in their work, and importantly, just how viewers interpret these details on a
neurological and psychological scale. Several popular studies have been cited to
explore various topics such as an artist s style, name, the objects, colors and
typography they choose to implement within their works and why.Typography and
Color Chaos When examining paintings that depict colored typography, for
example False Start by accomplished artist, Jasper John, there is an evident
dissonance to the viewer. The type expresses the name of one color printed in the
paint of another color, and to top it off, that very word is printed on a patch with a
different color. Essentially, the entire painting is creating chaos with its meaning
because the viewer isn t sure whether they approach the painting by reading the text,
viewing the color of the text, or viewing the patch of color which the text is placed
on. False Start, 1959 by Jasper Johns At first, when a person does try to comprehend
the painting, they tend to hesitate and think twice about making errors. This is
because when viewing the

Imidazoline Essay
Present there is an enormous deal of scientific attention in the field of Imidazoline
derivatives. Imidazoline is a Nitrogen compound and it can be utilized in organic dyes
as nitrogenous electron donors since it introduces additional electron donors at
position 2. Because of high molar extinction coefficient Imidazoline and other
molecular structures containing nitrogen developed as metal free organic dyes.
Usually, metal free organic dyes have the apparent molecular structure of the electron
donor element and the acceptor element connected by the conjugated chain (D ПЂ
A). 2 imidazoline is a one of the isomer derived from the imidazole. Imidazoline
derivatives are pharmaceutically and biologically very significant. Imidazolines
exhibit major pharmacological and biological activities such as antidepressive [1],
antihyperglycemic [2] , antihypercholesterolemic[3], anti inflammatory[4] and
antihypertensive[5].The drug clonidine containing Imidazoline is used independently

C.D Contreras [8] was reported the structural and vibrational analyses of 2 (2
benzofuranyl) 2 imidazoline. The purpose of this study is to obtain the theoretical
information about the molecular structure and electronic parameters of 2 phenyl 2
imidazoline.Density functional theory has been adopted for the precise study of the
molecular geometry and electronic distribution. Here we study the experimental and

Glass Ceiling and the Effects on Women
INTRODUCTION
It s 4:57PM and your superior has just emailed you and a fellow co worker a
project that is needed by 8AM tomorrow morning. You glance at the clock and
realize you have two minutes before you must dash out of the office and rush 45
minutes across town to pick your child up from a daycare that closes in 30
minutes. Clearly, there is not nearly enough time to complete the request. You look
at the office across from you and see your childless, single counterpart who simply
smiles and says ...go ahead. I ll handle the request . All the way home you beat
yourself up. Pondering how this will look to your superior? Will you look like a
slacker or not be considered a team player ? Or even worse... what potential

Career outcomes require people to be proactive, take initiative and ask for a pay
increase and increased work benefits. Men are more likely to be more aggressive
and create their own opportunities to advance. Social mores and male attitudes make
an effective barrier to women rising above certain points; this tendency brings to
mind a glass ceiling (Toussaint 1).
To illustrate how Glass Ceilings are created, consider the following: Circa 1992
Woman, mid thirties, recent graduate from prestigious Business school with a BS in
Accounting, attends a mandatory job fair and interviews with a university placement
counselor. This recent graduate has an impressive resume, which lists her outstanding
academic achievements. It is clear to the interviewer the graduate s ability to multi
task while raising a family, working part time and managing classes. Most of the
attendees at the job fair are male, mid twenties, aggressive and with similar academic
achievements. The advice from the placement counselor was honest and
straightforward, so he thought. The counselor stated to the graduate, Thirty
something married women with families will rarely progress as a manager in a large
company. Most women in this category are placed in small to mid size companies as
a Staff Accountant, Full Charge Bookkeeper or possibly mid level management in a
Human Resources Department with limited advancement.
That statement could have been viewed as a self fulfilling
Anxiety In Spanish Language Culture
The goal of the research is to increase depression literacy, decrease stigma, and
increase help seeking knowledge and behavior in Latinos. Furthermore, the research
evaluated a fotonovela which in Spanish language culture makes them an effective
vehicle for health promotion and health education. Since the small pamphlets can be
traded among individuals, they possess an element of portability that traditional
materials lack. Since the fotonovela concept is familiar to Hispanics and Latinos,
regardless of age, health educators have used the fotonovela to focus in important
health messages. The researches will success because it will awake interest in health
issues (depression). On the other hand, it may not be successful because these

Peasants
Manorialism was a part of feudalism and supported it. Peasants were very important
on the manor. Peasants lived on and farmed the manor s land. In return for the
work, lords would protect the peasants and gave them a share of land to grow their
crops (Cels 4). Peasants that did not own any land would be hired by lords or
peasants who were in better condition than them to work for them on the land (Cels
8). Peasants had to work almost for the whole day growing food and making other
things for their family and to give to the lords (Cels 4). Peasants would work for
three days a weeks for the lord and they had to work for extra time during harvest
time (King and Epperly 34). They were very important on manorialism and feudalism

While she was a child, she would learn how to act properly as a lady. Her father
would usually be knight and her family would be noble (Butterfield 9). Her
husband s family were friends with her father because her father s land was in the
neighboring area (Butterfield 9). She was taught from a young age about how she
should behave (Butterfield 9). When she was born, she was forced and expected to
be a lady and had no choice in any other lifestyle (Butterfield 9). When she got to the
proper age for marriage her new life as a lady would start. The wife of a knight
(nobility) was called a lady (Butterfield 9). The lady would be the most noble in her
husband s manor, the lady of the manor (Butterfield 9). Her husband had a higher
ranking than her and had more rights than she did. St. Augustine, a famous
philosopher of the Christian church wrote The husband should give orders to the
wife, parents to the children and masters should give orders to servants (Howarth
25). Her husband also owned everything on the estate. The law stated that
everything that she owned belonged to him and she was ranked second after
husband on the estate (Butterfield 9). The lady and her husband have their own
servants to dress them, look after their clothes and their well being (Butterfield
15). Marriage was important for the lady. It linked two important families together
and was a way to increase wealth or prestige of each family. It was not for love
between two people (Howarth 25). At seven years old, she would know who her
husband was going to be (Butterfield 9) and soon enough she would be married off
to a husband of a much older age (Howarth 25). Her husband was chosen from a
suitable background (Howarth 25) and the lady would have married the knight at
around 13 years old and would have left her family s estate or manor for her husband
s manor which was not far from her old home (Butterfield

And even others will put blame on themselves due to a sense of honour and duty. Charlie realises this when his narrative voice states that, ...a girl goes missing in town and it s Jasper Jones who is held and threatened...but somehow those monsters will arouse no suspicion. This shows that the level of mistrust, prejudice and racism against Jasper, a half Aboriginal, is so great that no matter what happens or who does it, people will always turn it back to Jasper, the scapegoat, and ignore the true perpetrators. Their belief is so real that Jasper says that, They [townspeople] all suspect it. They expect it. Of course he s a thief, they say. Of course he burned down the post office. Of course he hanged that poor girl. That poor girl. This shows that immediately, without a second thought, they blame Jasper for the crime. Through exaggeration, it shows that the racism in this town is so strong and people are instantly ready to turn the blame on him. And Jasper reveals how the whole town thinks, echoing them in his slightly bitter recount: They don t know sh*t about what it is to be me. They never ask why. Why would he be stealin ? They reckon it s my nature. Like I don t know any better. Through his dialogue with Charlie, Jasper reveals the sad truth of how people don t try to understand him, but circulate rumours around each other which people and slowly turn into what the town believes is fact. However, Jasper Jones is not the only one to feel this blame. Eliza Wishart takes the blame upon herself for not stopping her sister from committing suicide, saying

  • 8. The Harlem Renaissance s Influence On People s Views On... Travel back in time several centuries ago to the 1900 s and imagine how different life would be oil lamps/candles, outhouses or one toilet shared between several people, movies known as flickers and lasting no longer than 10 minutes, no television, ice boxes as opposed to refrigerators, baseball being the main sport that people followed as opposed to football, and unless you were a White male, your lifestyle was not filled with many opportunities or rights. With slavery being abolished not too long ago, discrimination and segregation was still widely accepted and practiced. Life was much different back then. Although people were heavily being judged for the color of their skin, a movement called the Harlem Renaissance had a major influence on people s views on African Americans across the United States. The Harlem Renaissance created a new Black cultural identity through literature, music, theater, art, and politics. One of the leading voices was Langston Hughes, a writer whom wrote realistic portrayals, both suffering and victories of African American lifestyles through poetry, short stories, novels, and plays. Through short, effective, and expressive words, Langston Hughes s poetry promoted African American culture and also addressed the oppression and injustice of African Americans. Our story starts from year 1916 to 1970, when more than 6 million African Americans relocated from the Southern states to the Northern states in an epidemic known as the Great Migration.

The gate has 3 possible inputs; a ВЈ1 coin paid in, a ВЈ2 coin paid in or the cancel button pressed. The gate must store the amount of money paid in and has four possible behaviours for outputs. Once the gate has received ВЈ4 it must open, in terms of implementation a LED must light up and stay lit until another input is received, any extra money in the machine must count towards the next entry fee. The other behaviours are based off when the cancel button is pressed, a LED relating to the amount of money paid into the machine towards an entry fee e.g. a ВЈ1 LED if ВЈ1 is in memory etc. up to the maximum of ВЈ3, In the circuit these LED s must stay on until the next input. The general structure of my implementation can be split up into three segments; Input, storage, and output. In the input section there are 2 bits of memory to temporarily store the 3 different inputs, 01 representing ВЈ1, 10 representing ВЈ2 and 11 representing cancel pressed. This memory is cleared once it has been clocked into the main storage of the system. The storage is implemented with 3 bits of memory as there are 6 possible states for the memory, ВЈ0 to ВЈ5, the 1 and 2 bit are only affected once an input has been clocked in however the 4 bit is only affected by the carry bit of the 2 bit memory and is cleared as soon as an input button has been pressed as this was part of the assignment specification.

  • 23. Persuasive Essay On Athletes Somewhere at this very moment someone is arguing and complaining about the unfair and unequal society. One of those unfair situations is the salaries among professional athletes and how their bank accounts are filling up with enormous paychecks. Athletes are active workers just like others, they go to work and they perform. What happens if they do not perform? They will get fired. So just because athletes work with what they are meant to do does not give the right to complain about how unfair life is. Almost everyone has the opportunity to choose their own path, whether it is to be a professional athlete, salesman or a plumber. Athletes choose their way of life, and just because of individual failures or different careers the blame is put on athletes and their work. Now that is unfair and unequal Everyone can throw a ball into a basket, kick a ball into the net, or shoot a puck into a goal. How is it that athletes run around on a field and earn millions of dollars, while a doctor that saves lives earn hundreds of thousands of dollars less? That s easy, they do not have that talent. I think we as a people feel life can be solved in an hour long Monday night special and that exact attitude is our society s problem today. Frankly we are a group of cowards who do not take the bull by the horns; rather we retreat to routine episode line up that we can supposedly relate to. A good question to ask as well is, mentally what does the television shows do to our children s ability to function in the world? Kids, mainly girls, are a more likely than grown ups to be portrayed as sufferers of brutality on the box, and this can make them more terrified of the world they live in, rendering them incapable of normal functions, such as commuting to work, walking in parks, etc. etc. Some of the most violent TV shows are children s cartoons (Dragon Ball Z, Batman, Looney Tunes), in which violent behavior is seen as cool and at time entertaining and the real outcome of bloodshed are not really revealed, leaving today s youth to make their own ending to the coyote s unfortunate plummet 100 stories up. However, since it was about William Randolph Hearst, it did not do too well. Many movies didn t want to play the film because they were scared of Hearst and his power. Although, many could not see the movie it still became one of the greatest films ever made through its uncommon angles, montages, and lighting. One of the most famous scenes in filmis the beginning where Charles Foster Kanedies after saying rosebud. What makes this scene so great was the camera angle. The snow globe that Kane drops after his death created an angle never before seen. This angle allowed for the intensity of the scene to increase as it emphasizes the nurse running in the room and the broken globe to show Kane s world as comes crashing down on him. Another interesting camera angle is when Kane is being taken away from his mother where both her and Kane are visible and in full focus. Da Vinci was a man immersed in several battles of varying complexity, both internal and externally in his Italian home. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This rivalry between two creative powerhouses did not begin with the commissioning that would soon be bestowed upon them by Soderini, rather it began when da Vinci returned to Florence two years after his younger counterpart. Da Vinci did not like the level of fame reached by this young star (who was at the time working on the piece that would grant him immortality the statue of David) and he expected to be treated with the level of respect someone of his stature should demand. However, instead of this Leonardo with greeted with animosity as Michelangelo paid no heed to Leonardo s preferred artistic output of paintings, instead he saw sculpture as the pinnacle of art and creation, claiming that it was easy to correct an error on canvas, but fixing a mistake in sculpture was nigh on impossible so the greatest artists must therefore create sculptures. This was something that da Vinci wholeheartedly disagreed with. It was therefore difficult for Soderini to find the perfect conditions to convince both men to accept his challenge, but through a combination of money and the chance to crush their rivals, both hesitantly accepted. The hesitation on both behalf s came as a result of the nature of the commission itself, namely that it was a fresco painting that was required. Leonardo disliked fresco painting due to the perceived rush needed to

Aristotle once said, Criticism is something we can avoid easily by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing. But I beg to disagree because people will criticize you for saying nothing, doing nothing and being nothing. Someone once said, Criticism is the muck in which the plants of the Lord grow strong and no child of God should fear Criticism. Criticism has the potential to help believers in their spiritual growth? Listen to what Frank Clark an American politician from the early 1900s said, Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man s growth without destroying his roots. Criticism comes in two forms, destructive and constructive. They are both self explanatory. Nevertheless, destructive criticism has the potential for spiritual growth but that would depend on the receiver. Destructive criticism can make us look inwardly ask the deep question, is it true of me. If the criticism levied is true, then do what needs to be done to correct it. If the criticism is malicious then ignore it and make sure you do not give your critics ammunition to prove their point. I would admit that criticism is not always easy to handle. People can be crude but always remember we are not responsible for the actions of others. We will only answer to God for our actions. The gospel is bigger than our feelings and has serious implications for mankind. So

All the realizations of logic gates in current mode reported in references (Kemp, 1983, 1984; Seevinck, 1978; M., 2003) use bipolar technology. Imidazoline is a Nitrogen compound and it can be utilized in organic dyes as nitrogenous electron donors since it introduces additional electron donors at position 2. Because of high molar extinction coefficient Imidazoline and other molecular structures containing nitrogen developed as metal free organic dyes. Usually, metal free organic dyes have the apparent molecular structure of the electron donor element and the acceptor element connected by the conjugated chain (D ПЂ A). 2 imidazoline is a one of the isomer derived from the imidazole. Imidazoline derivatives are pharmaceutically and biologically very significant. Imidazolines exhibit major pharmacological and biological activities such as antidepressive [1], antihyperglycemic [2] , antihypercholesterolemic[3], anti inflammatory[4] and antihypertensive[5].The drug clonidine containing Imidazoline is used independently ... Career outcomes require people to be proactive, take initiative and ask for a pay increase and increased work benefits. Men are more likely to be more aggressive and create their own opportunities to advance. Social mores and male attitudes make an effective barrier to women rising above certain points; this tendency brings to mind a glass ceiling (Toussaint 1). To illustrate how Glass Ceilings are created, consider the following: Circa 1992 Woman, mid thirties, recent graduate from prestigious Business school with a BS in Accounting, attends a mandatory job fair and interviews with a university placement counselor. This recent graduate has an impressive resume, which lists her outstanding academic achievements. It is clear to the interviewer the graduate s ability to multi task while raising a family, working part time and managing classes. Most of the attendees at the job fair are male, mid twenties, aggressive and with similar academic achievements. The advice from the placement counselor was honest and straightforward, so he thought. The counselor stated to the graduate, Thirty something married women with families will rarely progress as a manager in a large company. When she was born, she was forced and expected to be a lady and had no choice in any other lifestyle (Butterfield 9). When she got to the proper age for marriage her new life as a lady would start. The wife of a knight (nobility) was called a lady (Butterfield 9). The lady would be the most noble in her husband s manor, the lady of the manor (Butterfield 9). Her husband had a higher ranking than her and had more rights than she did. St. Augustine, a famous philosopher of the Christian church wrote The husband should give orders to the wife, parents to the children and masters should give orders to servants (Howarth 25). Her husband also owned everything on the estate. The law stated that everything that she owned belonged to him and she was ranked second after husband on the estate (Butterfield 9). The lady and her husband have their own servants to dress them, look after their clothes and their well being (Butterfield 15). Marriage was important for the lady. It linked two important families together and was a way to increase wealth or prestige of each family. It was not for love between two people (Howarth 25). At seven years old, she would know who her husband was going to be (Butterfield 9) and soon enough she would be married off to a husband of a much older age (Howarth 25). Her husband was chosen from a suitable background (Howarth 25) and the lady would have married the knight at around 13 years old and would have left her family s estate or manor for her husband s manor which was not far from her old home (Butterfield
