The Massachusetts Bay colony and Virginia had a sundry amount of differences as
well as similarities. Each of these colonies was founded upon different ways of
living. Digging deeper, there are many more differences about these colonies than
there are similarities. Although both colonies eventually experienced the help of the
natives, each colony set separate rules and laws for themselves. Virginiais more
geographically spread out and more focused on obtaining gold for personal profit,
whereas Massachusetts is more of a united, small farmed colony that focused more on
the efforts for religious freedom.
John Rolfe was an English settler who based the voyage to America simply on the
growth of tobacco. Rolfe s crew, along with many other young men, traveled to
Virginia in 1609 to search for gold. When the ship reached on the shore, all that
was seen was sandy beaches and swampy marshes. Neither of which helped with
the growth of the major cash crop. Even after the valiant attempts to scrounge for

In 1956, the MBTI was published by Educational Testing Service of Princeton, NJ,
publishers of the venerable Scholastic Aptitude Test. Word of the instrument began
to spread, but only for use as a research tool. In 1969, Isabel Myers teamed up with
Mary McCauley at the University of Florida and the two began a typology
laboratory at the school that emerged as the center for all MBTI related activity.
Three years later, the laboratory became the Center for the Application of
Psychological Type and remains the principal facility for Typewatching. According to

A personal goal for this project is time management through delegation. The Plan Do
Check Act cycle (PDCA) is a tool that will be used to develop a plan for quality
improvement and achieve the goals that would be beneficial for the nurse and patient
care outcomes. The personal goals are to discharge all patients with finished
documentation according to the certified post anesthesia nurse (CPAN) rules by using
the process of delegation to obtain ancillary help. DELEGATION Delegation is the
cornerstone to being a nurse leader, it facilitates the work effort of the staff to
accomplish the mission and goals of the healthcare organization. The optimum
administration of a unit is contingent on how well the staff functions as a team. One
study stated the most intricate skills a nurse leader can have is delegation; proper
judgment and knowledge is required to effectively transfer the authority,
responsibility, and accountability to a subordinate. Understanding the concept of
delegation is essential in conveying an assignment, this is the final accountability for
