A natural habitat is where a living being lives, for example, we live in our homes, birds live in

Parkinson s diseases. The healthcare and financial burden linked to these pathologies has been
steadily increasing over the past decade. Actually, there is currently no efficient treatment for
misfolding diseases as well as no reliable early diagnostic techniques for them, in most cases. It is
known that, in many cases, the cytotoxic effect of misfolded proteins is exerted through their self
assembly into amyloid like protein aggregates. Unfortunately, the mechanisms responsible for the
toxicity of protein aggregates are still not completely understood. The number of protein targets

Gentrification is a problem that every country and city has experience rather they know it or not.
Countries are affected by this process and many of its civilians are left with nowhere to call their
home. Communities where they once lived turn into places they ve never seen before. To be forced
out of their own communities is only hurting the economic system of that city and/or country. The
people that are being displaced are minorities and being forced out their community is killing their
cultural. The residents will not be able to raise their children the same way they were brought up.

of the plague. It recollects stories and other accounts of plague times heard by and collected by
the Defoe from other involved individuals. Explains many aspects before, during, and after the

different tales of deaths and how they died in many outrageous and tragic ways of people killing

I believe that books have one of the greatest influences on children when they are growing up.
There are many different genres of books and they all have something different to teach and offer
to children. For example, picture books and fictional stories spark imagination in children and teach
them creativity while, non fiction and stories incorporating diversity, teach children about a certain
topic and help broaden their horizons. Keeping the importance of all the different genres of books
in mind, I chose two articles from the Journal of Children s Literature pertaining to this subject. The
name of the first article I read is, Drawing Stories, WritingPictures: Readingand Composing
Multimodally in Storying Studio, written by Prisca Martens. This article discusses the significance
of picturebooks and how the illustrations enhance the writing and make the stories come alive.

Mexican immigrants in the United States faced difficult challenges daily such as discrimination,
lower wages, and hatred. The book Esperanza Rising is by American writer Pam Munoz Ryan.
Esperanza is a Mexican girl at the age of thirteen, and she had to leave her home in Mexico to
come to the United States as an immigrant. She had to leave because of her greedy uncles. Even
though Esperanza s life was full of challenges, as an immigrant the harshest challenges were not

I have always pictured myself working with children, for as long as I can remember. Thus, for the
proposed career group project (part 1), my group presented information on the child life specialist
profession. However, after much thought, I have decided to change my emphasis from child life to
child development and pursue a career as a school psychologist, once I graduate. School psychology
is a wide ranging practice and health service provider concerned with offering an assortment of
psychological diagnosis, assessments, and interventions, et cetera to all learners (i.e. children,
youth and families) (American Psychological Association (APA), (2015). The educational
requirements, as described by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), consists
of the completion of a 60 graduate semester specialist level program in school psychology plus a
1200 hour internship, for a majority of states (2015). Therefore, upon receiving my bachelor s
degree in child and family development, I plan to attend a graduate program that meets the NASP
standards for approval, and as stated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (2015), clinical, counseling,
and school psychologists earn an annual median of $74,030.
