Albert Einstein family ,Hermann and Pauline Einstein, were merchants who lived in germany.
Einstein was actually jewish, but not jewish religion. When albert was born he was unusual, he had a

Why I Want To Pursue A Fine Arts Degree In Film
Films are an insight into human imagination, and each unique film offers the audience a chance to
experience worlds that would never exist. While literature also appeals to human imagination, adding
a visual element never fails to enhance the experience for audiences to encompass the storytelling of
directors, screenwriters, cinematographers, and even film producers.
Storytelling has been apart of my life since before I can remember. I vividly remember going to a
midnight showing of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith even though I fell asleep and awoke to Anakin
Skywalker slain by Obi Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, I knew films had impacted me in a way that I could
not describe at such a young age. As I aged, I gave movies so much thought that I became ... Show

Working at the movie theatre proved difficult at times, but I fell deeper in love with applying my
knowledge of movies to working concessions or ushering auditoriums because I have over one
hundred coworkers that provide different insights on films, film scores, actors, and actresses in
modern Hollywood. There is no doubt in my mind that pursuing a career in Film Production, with a
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration will be immensely significant to my future. I cannot think of a better platform that will
emphasize my passion for politics and my passion for films. The decision for pursuing a film career
not only comes from my love for films, but also my passion for breaking the glass ceiling that
oppresses many women and men of color from pursuing their dreams in Hollywood because success
for one of us is success for all of us. A career that appreciates the high quality of cinema and the
business of individuals who want to create art is something I could never have asked for until now.
Combining my love for managing projects and my love for cinema with my love for politics, it is clear
to me that pursuing a career in film is the right path for

The Effects Of Water On Natural Water Essay
Water is one of the most important resources that earth can offer. Indeed, water is essential to the
survival of all living things. Pure water must be colorless, tasteless and odorless. However, sometimes,
natural water can contain impurities. Indeed, dissolved solute coming minerals in rocks and soils are
often present in natural water.
The cations Mg2+and Ca2+ are the most common dissolved compounds found in natural water. The
presence of the dissolved Cations Ca2+ and Mg2+ (and other polyvalent cations) gives natural waters
chemical properties that are often evaluated as hardness.1 Water is hard when it contains a high
concentration of cations Ca2+ and Mg2+ and it is considered soft when it contains a low concentration
of cations Ca2+ and Mg2+. Water Hardness is often measured in Concentrations in Molarity (M),
parts per million (ppm/ mg per L) and grain per gallon (gpg).
The degree of hardness standard as established by the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (S
339) and the Water Quality Association (WQA) is2:
Degree of Hardness
Grains per Gallon (gpg) ppm (or mg/L) Soft

It is very important to know and understand the hardness of water in order to limit the damages
hardness does and to improve the treatments for the problems of Hardness. Hard Water can damage
household plumbing and other appliances; it decreases the efficiency of boilers, jets and tubes are

Abstract
Teams are formed when individuals with a common taste, preference, liking, and attitude come and
work together for a common goal. Teams play a very important role in organizations as well as our
personal lives.
Teamwork is essential for competing in today s global arena, where individual perfection is not as
desirable as a high level of collective performance. In knowledge based enterprises, teams are the
norm rather than the exception. A critical feature of these teams is that they have a significant degree
of empowerment, or decision making authority. There are many different kinds of teams: ... Show

methods of interaction with other group members and degree of acceptance of group norms and the
organization s goals
Teamwork is important in industries like aviation to ensure flights land safely, the military uses it to
protect the country, finance professionals need to practice it to keep the nation s economy running

child, from his or her will or consent, and sending such person away, with an intent to deprive him or
her of some right. This is an offence at common law.
Kidnapping is of two kinds kidnapping from India and kidnapping from lawful guardianship.

conducted by Herbert von Karajan, 1908 1989; produced by Hans Ludwig Hirsch; performed by

Reflection
This selection of music contains 4 symphonies which each symphony has 4 movement in itself and is
performed by an orchestra. In each symphony I have come to realize that each symphony brilliantly
exhibits intriguing melodies that are mainly homophonic, but in some parts polyphonic.
The feeling I get as I listen to each section of the orchestra is that they have something to say to each
other and that the texture is linguistic and emotional as the string section sets the heart of the melody
and the percussion and woodwinds imitate or answer with their own melody.
The intensity in each symphony is expressed by the wide range of pitch as the violins played and the
horns and the flutes resonate their sound as a response to the string section create a very joyful and
pleasant listening experience. At times, the music makes me think I am in a Forrest or by a River or on
a journey experiencing the surprises of life or the challenges of it. I can feel each musical instruments
timbre and it sets my mood in each section of the symphony, sad or happy the rhythmic tones from the
orchestra also sounds like a lullaby at some points of the

Confounded Study Results Although the outcome proved the NPCT intervention of DSME education
and medical management were effective, something other than the interventions used could have
caused other results but not confounded results. The use of multiple locations and a larger randomized
sample size may have helped avoid obstacles such as time, fuel, cost and transportation issues and
allowed for generalizability. Different outcomes could have been achieved if individualized education

No clinical testing was required for sensitivity and specificity factors since the inclusion criteria

study is the degree to which research findings can be generalized to other groups and settings (Polit
Beck, 2012). Although, the small sample size and use of one geographic region in this study limited
generalizability, the results of the study can be applicable to those within similar programs with the
same disease process (Jessee Rutledge, 2012). In my every day practice, though I work with a
different patient population, the results of this study show the applicability of health education for
family and patients in improving health outcomes. Even with health topics other than diabetes, health
education is pivotal to improve knowledge, self management, and patient compliance. With adequate
knowledge in disease processes, patients can make better choices, maintain their health, and
adequately prevent complications. Though the demographic aspects will be different, the outcome
achieved in this study would remain relatively similar. Collaboration and multi disciplinary group
visits are crucial in encompassing different aspects of health education including realistic goal setting

Essay about Trying to Corner the Gold Market on Black Friday
There have been many financial corruptions and scandals though out history and in 1869 one such
scandal rock The United States financial institute s foundation. The attempt to corner the gold market
lead to the preverbal straw which almost broke the camel s back. This scandal has become to be

proved that without oversight of the market it could quickly become a market of the few.
Here we are 118 years removed from this attempt to create a monopoly of the gold market and we still

The American people believed that the U.S. Government would make good on their credit by buying
back the greenbacks with Gold.
Jay Gould was a leading American railroad developer and Jim Fisk was an American stockbroker and
corporate executive. These speculators had a plan on how to profit from the U.S. Government
greenback buyback plan. The plan to buy the gold at a lower prices as the U.S. government bought
back the Greenbacks at a discounted price the gold price would lower and before more gold was
introduced into the market the price would increase. The plan would require to know when to buy and
when to sale to maximum ones profit.
Jay Gould and Jim Fisk knew they would greatly benefit with some inside insight so they first
recruited Abel Corbin a financier who was married to Virginia Grant the sister of President Grant. Jay
Gould and Jim Fisk would also recruit the help from a former Union Army General, Medal of Honor

Abel Corbin was successful in convincing his brother in law President Grant in appointing the former

The Cost Recovery Act And Tobacco Litigation
The United States is believed to be a free country, not monocracy. No one wants the government to
charge them extra for the snacks they decide to eat. People want to make the choice to be healthy on
their own. The choice is up to the individual it is not the governments` choice to make. No matter how
much more the taxes the government puts on junk and fatty food, it will not stop people from eating
them. 2. In the academic journal, The Cost Recovery Act and Tobacco Litigation in Canada: A Model
for Fast Food Litigation, the states: One of the most well known fast food litigation cases in the United
States is Pelman v. McDonald s Corp. In Pelman, two minors sued the fast food restaurant McDonalds
claiming, among other things, that McDonalds acted at least negligently in selling food products that
are high in cholesterol, fat, salt and sugar when studies show that such foods cause obesity and
detrimental health effects. One of the weaknesses of the plaintiffs claims in Pelman is common to food
litigation in general. The Pelman court elegantly expressed this issue, asking where the line should be
drawn between an individual s own responsibility to take care of herself, and society s responsibility
to ensure that others shield her? The court held that if consumers know (or reasonably should know)
the potential ill health effects of eating at McDonalds, they cannot blame McDonalds if they,
nonetheless, choose to satiate their appetite with a surfeit of supersized

Contrasting the Natural and Mechanical Worlds in...
Contrasting the Natural and Mechanical Worlds in Hathaway s Oh, Oh
The French poet and essayist Louis Aragon, in his Paris Peasant, wrote that light is meaningful only in
relation to darkness, and truth presupposes error we only exist in terms of this conflict, in the zone
where black and white clash (Aragon 18). Aragon noted that the world is full of contrasts, and it is
through those contrasts that we live and understand who we are and why we are here. Without an
understanding of light, Aragon argues, we cannot understand what darkness really is. Or, without an
awareness as to the concept of truth, one cannot possibly error, for the act cannot be defined. In
William Hathaway s poem Oh, Oh, the poet uses language, word ... Show more content on

The dominant contrast in Oh, Oh is created by the comforting versus harsh descriptions of the natural
versus the mechanical. This contrast is created not only through images, but also through a careful
collaboration of word choices selected by Hathaway. Perhaps the most easily recognizable of these is
found in the middle of the poems only stanza. After the author s persona and his girl have walked
through the country, they encounter the invasion of a train. But, the action of the intrusion is not what
is important here; rather, the language that is used to describe both situations is what must be
examined.
For example, in the first half of the poem, which for the most part describes the country, the language
is filled with beautiful sentences filled with adjective after adjective after adjective. A simple
encounter with cows in a field becomes moo cows chomping daisies, our own / sweet saliva green
with grass stems (2 3). But, on the entrance of the locomotive, the language changes. The complex,
drawn out, three adjective statement maple dappled summer sunlight is replaced by a sterile and
simple lit headlight (8). From that point forward, the long sentences disappear. Only when the couple
experiences the mechanical real world, do they lose the power of language to describe what they see.
Another technique that Hathaway uses extensively to demonstrate the difference

Magnificent Minds Of The Renaissance in Europe Essay
The high renaissance of the 1500 s was a time of scientific, philosophic, and artistic awe and
inspiration. Many new discoveries were being made in the field of science, and philosophers
expressed their assumptions on the world and universe around them. In addition, many individuals
were gifted with artistic dexterity and skill. The amazing achievements of Michelangelo, Raphael, and
Leonardo da Vinci are considered significant to the Renaissance period. In this paper, the endeavors
and achievements of these three Renaissance men will be examined and expressed.
Born in 1475 in Italy, Michelangelo was raised in an era of artistic wonder. Not only an artist, but
Michelangelo was also a poet, sculptor, and architect. Being gifted in these ... Show more content on

At the old age of 89, Michelangelo died. Another magnificent artist, who was inspired by
Michelangelo, was Raphael.
On April 6, 1483, in the town of Urbino Italy, the greatest and most popular artist of all time would be
born, and he would be given the name of Raphael. In Raphael s early years, he became inspired by his
father, the painter Giovanni Santi, and began painting at an early age. At the age of 22, and in search
of new painting techniques, Raphael began studying some of the famous artists of his day such as
Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. After years of studying, and observing Leonardo and
Michelangelo s art, Raphael developed his own techniques for lighting and shading and produced a
new informal manner of painting. During the premature developments of these new techniques,
Raphael tested his skill by painting various quot;Madonna quot; paintings such as Madonna of the
Goldfinch and Madonna del Baldacchino. Once these techniques were perfected around 1508,
Raphael was sent to Rome to decorate four rooms of the Vatican Palace with scenic frescoes. These
four rooms contain some of Raphael s finest work, such as the magnificent fresco The School of
Athens which depicts an open building scene in which Plato, Aristotle, and other ancient philosophers
are in deep contemplation and conversation. In addition to Raphael s Vatican Palace

Just Lather, That s All
Many have been left thinking and questioning details of Hernando Téllez s Just Lather, That s All .
This story depicts the internal conflict of the barber when the most feared military captain comes into
the shop for a shave. The protagonist the barber contemplates, weather to kill Torres his enemy and
fulfil his revolutionary duties, or shave the Captain without letting one single drop of blood fall on
behalf of a good barber. At the end when the Captain is still alive he shocks the barber revealing that
he knew all along that he was secretly a rebel and what he wanted to do. This piece of writing has
many interesting aspects to analyze, but symbolization, theme and connections were the most
meaningful to me. The razor was a very symbolic object according to many people. If you don t
already know, symbolization is when we take a solid object and give it and abstract idea. The razor
symbolizes countless things throughout this piece. It was evident that it symbolized his profession but,
it also could be used as a murder weapon. The moral dilemma it represented of the barber was the
most prominent to me. All through the text the barber was faces this internal conflict of to kill or not to
kill. Weather to stand by his morality or collective beliefs. Weather to do what he thought was right or
to do what he was told to be right. These opposites clash and had resulted in conflict. Hero or
murderer? His destiny was set on

Scientific View of Creation and the Big Bang Essay
Scientific View of Creation and the Big Bang
A common question among people is why are things the way they are? How was our world created?
There are many different theories, from a variety of views. In this paper I will discuss the scientific
view of the creation theory.
The theory that I will be discussing is the Big Bang Theory, this is currently the theory of creation
accepted by most scientists as the explanation of the beginning of the universe. The big bang theory
suggests that the universe was once extremely compact, dense, and hot. Some uncommon event, a
cosmic explosion called the big bang, occurred about 10 billion to 20 billion years ago, and the
universe has since been expanding and cooling. The theory is ... Show more content on

During the 1990 s Sky Telescope magazine ran a contest to find a better, more dignified name, but no
change was made.
The overall framework of the big bang theory remains unchanged, but some details of the theory are
still being modified today. For example, Einstein himself initially believed that the universe was static.
But when his equations seemed to show that the universe was either expanding or contracting,
Einstein added a constant term to cancel out the expansion or contraction of the universe. Then, when
the expansion of the universe was later discovered, Einstein stated that adding this cosmological
constant had been a mistake.
After Einstein s work of 1917, several scientists, including the abbé Georges Lemaître in Belgium,
Willem de Sitter in Holland, and Alexander Friedmann in Russia, came up with solutions of their own
to Einstein s field equations. The universes described by the different scientists varied. De Sitter s
model had no matter in it. This model is actually not considered to be a bad approximation since the
average density of the universe is extremely low. Lemaître s universe expanded from a primeval atom.
Friedmann s universe also expanded from a very dense clump of matter, but did not involve the
cosmological constant. These models helped explain what happened to the universe shortly after its
creation, but there

LSD In The Mouse Party
The Mouse Party interactive experiment, released by The University of Utah, was quite an interesting
and bizarre way to learn how drugs affect the brain. My prior knowledge on this subject matter was
rather small, therefore my interest in this experiment was elevated. I chose to discuss three drugs that
interested me the most in this reflection. LSD was the first drug that struck my curiosity when learning
about the compound components to. Thus to no surprise, the rat that was on it was picked first. LSD
relies almost completely on the serotonin neurons in the brain by rearranging and binding them
together to create array of effects on the body. LSD is known for the way it reacts to receptor s in a

Cocaine works by temporarily blocking dopamine transporters in the brain, leaving the synaptic cleft
built up with excess dopamine, causing the cell to get overstimulated. This effects the reward center of
the brain, making the user feel a sensation of positive feelings for a short amount of time, therefore
making it highly addictive. Moving onto methamphetamine (meth), in my opinion, by far the worst
drug out off all the others in this experiment. Meth is introduced to the body through inhalation or
injection, causing the dopamine transporters in the brain to start working in reverse. Due to this,
dopamine floods the synapse causing the body to have intense sensations of happiness and pleasure
for a short period of time. A result in using this, will deplete your dopamine levels causing a
dependency on the drug to feel happiness or pleasure. The information that was presented to me over
the course of the mouse party interactive experiment, had been very beneficial to my understanding of
how drugs effect the brain. Everything in this experiment correlated to what we learned about in

This basically states that anything that lies outside of the norm is an outlier. In the book Outliers, by
Malcolm Gladwell he focuses on the different set of skills, timing, background, and effort a successful
person needs to have in order to become successful. Unlike most books or biographies that write about
the intelligence and ambition of an individual, this book looks around the individuals, instead of
directly at them. Gladwell look at the outliers of these individuals, and determines how they have
become successful, either by their skill, their luck, their effort, and their whole background and what
lies around them. Gladwell had several ideas he had based people s successes on, one of which were
their skills. He focused on whether a person was capable of being successful in their career path. Not
just their IQ, or their ability to perform a task well, but whether their social skills were also capable or
not. Gladwell states that it is not possible to make it far alone, so he would check to see if an
individual wasn t an awkward loner who excelled in only academically. Gladwell would not only look
at SAT scores and how well they did in school, but look at how creative or innovative an individual
was. Another concept that Gladwell looked at was the timing of their birth, or the importance of their
birth. Gladwell was able to look at the trends and how well one was

Privatization Reform During Latin America
Conclusion
Since the 1980s, transnational actors have disseminated ideas of education privatization throughout
Latin America. Although by similar means, these policy ideas arrived at different historical moments
at Chile and Argentina. Privatization ideas made its way in Chile carried by the influential Chicago
boys, during the critical juncture of the authoritarian regime. The market based reform served the
interests of the military regime, and faced very little resistance given the repression and dismantling of
the teacher union, and the penetration of the economic logic in the Ministry of Education. Timing,
carriers and weak opposition allowed a complete replacement of the domestic education policy. Later
in democracy, state oriented education bureaucrats were not able to reverse the policy change.
Although they tried to build on the inherited model and use the state as a way to correct the failures of
the education market, the inconsistency between their goals and their means ended up reproducing and
strengthening the privatized model.
By contrast in Argentina, the economic perspective arrived timidly and late when the country was
making its transition to democracy. The resistance of the teacher union and provincial governments
towards fiscal decentralization, and the reluctance of the ministry of education to market based
reforms, refrained the government from proposing explicit privatization instruments such as vouchers.
Instead, the government gradually changed

How Did You Call The Period Between 1860 And 1877 Nothing...
As the Civil War ended, conflict, that was much less violent, arose. The matter of putting the country
back together laid heavily upon the shoulders of the government. Questions of rights to power
emanated. Discrimination grew steadily more powerful. This period of time was not as radical as
events such as the Revolutionary War that began the country, but the many parallels to it brought it
awfully close. Through questioning of the central and state government power levels, heavy
constitutional observation and interpretation, and morality based decision making, it is fair to call the
period between 1860 and 1877 nothing short of revolutionary.
The Revolutionary War was as its title states; revolutionary. The people of the colonies were
disconsolate with the power that Great Britain was exhibiting over them. Similarly, the South was
unhappy with the central governments right to declare the way they discriminated against the black

The Future Of Virtual Reality
Virtual reality is a virtual environment created by use of technology which has enabled the creation of
real experiences into our brains and senses. It fills in the gaps that are presented by other modes of
communication by making it possible to use technology to create real experiences in the human life.
Virtual reality is experienced in different fields and its future is dictated by its performance.
Programmers have developed virtual reality devices based on the materials that conjure dreams in
human beings. Professionals and scientists have been involved for years, developing and
implementing the virtual reality in ways that enable them to use and provide development in myriad
situations. This has enabled remove the ambiguity that words have presented. Grossman (2016) stated

Working at the movie theatre proved difficult at times, but I fell deeper in love with applying my knowledge of movies to working concessions or ushering auditoriums because I have over one hundred coworkers that provide different insights on films, film scores, actors, and actresses in modern Hollywood. I cannot think of a better platform that will emphasize my passion for politics and my passion for films. The decision for pursuing a film career not only comes from my love for films, but also my passion for breaking the glass ceiling that oppresses many women and men of color from pursuing their dreams in Hollywood because success for one of us is success for all of us. A career that appreciates the high quality of cinema and the business of individuals who want to create art is something I could never have asked for until now. Combining my love for managing projects and my love for cinema with my love for politics, it is clear to me that pursuing a career in film is the right path for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The presence of the dissolved Cations Ca2+ and Mg2+ (and other polyvalent cations) gives natural waters chemical properties that are often evaluated as hardness.1 Water is hard when it contains a high concentration of cations Ca2+ and Mg2+ and it is considered soft when it contains a low concentration of cations Ca2+ and Mg2+. Water Hardness is often measured in Concentrations in Molarity (M), parts per million (ppm/ mg per L) and grain per gallon (gpg). The degree of hardness standard as established by the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (S 339) and the Water Quality Association (WQA) is2: Degree of Hardness Grains per Gallon (gpg) ppm (or mg/L) Soft 10.5 180 It is very important to know and understand the hardness of water in order to limit the damages hardness does and to improve the treatments for the problems of Hardness. The intensity in each symphony is expressed by the wide range of pitch as the violins played and the horns and the flutes resonate their sound as a response to the string section create a very joyful and pleasant listening experience. Aragon noted that the world is full of contrasts, and it is through those contrasts that we live and understand who we are and why we are here. After the author s persona and his girl have walked through the country, they encounter the invasion of a train. But, the action of the intrusion is not what is important here; rather, the language that is used to describe both situations is what must be examined. Cocaine works by temporarily blocking dopamine transporters in the brain, leaving the synaptic cleft built up with excess dopamine, causing the cell to get overstimulated. This effects the reward center of the brain, making the user feel a sensation of positive feelings for a short amount of time, therefore making it highly addictive. Moving onto methamphetamine (meth), in my opinion, by far the worst drug out off all the others in this experiment. Meth is introduced to the body through inhalation or injection, causing the dopamine transporters in the brain to start working in reverse. Due to this, dopamine floods the synapse causing the body to have intense sensations of happiness and pleasure for a short period of time. A result in using this, will deplete your dopamine levels causing a dependency on the drug to feel happiness or pleasure. • 30. Outliers, By Malcolm Gladwell Outliers, a statistical observation that is markedly different in value from the others of the sample. This basically states that anything that lies outside of the norm is an outlier. In the book Outliers, by Malcolm Gladwell he focuses on the different set of skills, timing, background, and effort a successful person needs to have in order to become successful. Unlike most books or biographies that write about the intelligence and ambition of an individual, this book looks around the individuals, instead of directly at them. Gladwell look at the outliers of these individuals, and determines how they have become successful, either by their skill, their luck, their effort, and their whole background and what lies around them. Gladwell had several ideas he had based people s successes on, one of which were their skills. He focused on whether a person was capable of being successful in their career path. Not just their IQ, or their ability to perform a task well, but whether their social skills were also capable or not. Gladwell states that it is not possible to make it far alone, so he would check to see if an individual wasn t an awkward loner who excelled in only academically. Gladwell would not only look at SAT scores and how well they did in school, but look at how creative or innovative an individual was. Another concept that Gladwell looked at was the timing of their birth, or the importance of their birth. Gladwell was able to look at the trends and how well one was ... • 36. Privatization Reform During Latin America Conclusion Since the 1980s, transnational actors have disseminated ideas of education privatization throughout Latin America. Although by similar means, these policy ideas arrived at different historical moments at Chile and Argentina. Privatization ideas made its way in Chile carried by the influential Chicago boys, during the critical juncture of the authoritarian regime. The market based reform served the interests of the military regime, and faced very little resistance given the repression and dismantling of the teacher union, and the penetration of the economic logic in the Ministry of Education. Timing, carriers and weak opposition allowed a complete replacement of the domestic education policy. Later in democracy, state oriented education bureaucrats were not able to reverse the policy change. Although they tried to build on the inherited model and use the state as a way to correct the failures of the education market, the inconsistency between their goals and their means ended up reproducing and strengthening the privatized model. By contrast in Argentina, the economic perspective arrived timidly and late when the country was making its transition to democracy. The resistance of the teacher union and provincial governments towards fiscal decentralization, and the reluctance of the ministry of education to market based reforms, refrained the government from proposing explicit privatization instruments such as vouchers. The matter of putting the country back together laid heavily upon the shoulders of the government. Questions of rights to power emanated. Discrimination grew steadily more powerful. This period of time was not as radical as events such as the Revolutionary War that began the country, but the many parallels to it brought it awfully close. Through questioning of the central and state government power levels, heavy constitutional observation and interpretation, and morality based decision making, it is fair to call the period between 1860 and 1877 nothing short of revolutionary. The Revolutionary War was as its title states; revolutionary. The people of the colonies were disconsolate with the power that Great Britain was exhibiting over them.
