Abstract There are different types of tumors are available. Astrocytoma is the most common type of
tumor (30% of all brain tumor) and is usually a malignant one. Astrocytoma can be subdivided into
four grades. Each grade has its own characteristics and unique treatment. In the event that any wrong
treatment is given to these evaluations that prompts passing. So finding the position and shape of
tumor is very important for the further treatment. The proposed system of this paper is to find the
exact position and shape of the tumor cells. That helps the physician for further treatment. In the
proposed system, it consists of four modules (i) Pre processing, (ii) Segmentation of brain in MR
Images,(iii) Quality extraction and (iv) Inexact reasoning. Preprocessing is carried out by sifting.
Segmentation is carried out by cutting edge both K means and Fuzzy C means calculations. Quality
extraction is by thresholding. Finally, Approximate reasoning method to recognize the tumor shape
and position in MRI image. If the tumor is a mass in shape then k means algorithm is enough to
extract it from brain cells. Suppose if it is a malignant (spread over the brain) one then the Fuzzy C
means algorithm

The Political Theory Of The Chilean Economy
Despite the small size of the Chilean economy and its rather relative weight in the global economy,
several accounts acknowledge that Chile was at the forefront of the worldwide neoliberal experiment
since the mid 1970s under the civic military dictatorship that ruled the nation between 1973 and 1990
(Harvey, 2005a; Klein, 2007; McChesney, 1999; Paley, 2001; Stiglitz, 2002). Indeed, the Chilean
authoritarian regime not only has radically applied neoclassical theory, but also turns it into the
founding philosophy of a new society (Valdés, 1989: 35). Actually, Chile has been a warm laboratory
for the most classic economic trends since the 1950s, when the so called Klein Saks mission was hired
by the Chilean government to analyze the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Specific political projects embodying different schools of thought have fueled three waves of
neoliberalism, with both economic and ethical implications (Ong, 2006). In a first moment, Hayek and
his Homo economicus as the basis of a free political order and Friedman and Becker have
philosophically supported what Thatcher (Thatcherism) and Reagan (Reagonimics) implemented in
the United Kingdom and in the United States in the late 1970s and the 1980s. The Clinton (US) and
the Blair (UK) administrations in the 1990s represent promote the individual internalization of self
governamentality or self responsibility. In this second wave of neoliberalism, the broad social,
political, economic, and cultural principles underneath neoliberalism became common sense and were
naturalized as an individual action. Finally, entrepreneurialism or the communitarian ideal of
responsibility is a third wave of neoliberalism. Therefore, neoliberal policies of shrinking the state are
accompanied by a proliferation of techniques to remake the subjects ; so, neoliberal logic requires
free, self managing, and self enterprising individuals in different spheres of everyday life (Ong, 2006:
14).
Nevertheless, neoliberalism seems to carry multiple meanings and imply different material conditions,
institutional frames, and symbolic imaginaries (Ong, 2006), depending not only on historical

Student Debt
Fear of Losing
Facing a seemingly massive debt can create a scare tactic to continue on a path toward a higher and
exceptional education. Although there are controllable factors to help lessen the weight of student debt
it creates a wall of challenges toward furthering ones education, because of the fear of falling into a
seemingly large debt Canadian students are afraid to maximize their education, prohibiting Canada to
create and maintain a stronger and more skilled work force.
Picking a career field does not come easy.
After high school students are faced with the decision to continue pursuing a more advanced education

students from marginalized communities, low income backgrounds, and single parents are more likely
to have negative feelings along with being strongly hesitant toward acquiring student debt. (Students,

Ancient Roman Architecture
The building borrowed from mainly large scale ancient Roman buildings. One of the most principle
design was the longitudinal axis as the building now had the focus of attention to the opposite end to
the entrance. This was because it was a church thus that design enabled number of people to gather for
the liturgy with an inward focus on the altar. Another principle design is the series of arches/pillars on
both sides, that are continuous throughout the side of the church. The purpose of that is to again lead
your eyes into the critical point of the church, the altar. Note that the pillars are in corinthian style.
Another notable design is the wooden door in the entrance which it has carved imageries of scenes
from the Bible, basically a frieze but on wood. There is also, inside the church one aisle on each side
behind the arches/pillars, and the central naive which has a wide open space. Also opposite of the
church there is the altar which is in a semi circular space. Above the altar there is a beautiful painting,
probably a frieze, above the altar which is highly polychromed, even using rare colors like blue.
Another notable feature was the use of clerestory which lit the church with sunlight softly ... Show

Also the use of the clerestory was an adaption from Rome but went as far back as to Ancient Egypt.
Mostly the frescoes and even the pillars being made of marble is an adaptation from the Romans. The
arches/pillar system is meant to focus the attention toward the altar, for obvious reasons. This also
includes the longitudinal axis trying to pull your attention toward the pillar. The sanctuary screen was
also there to separate the main altar area and the nave. Also the aisles on both side and the wide nave
was there so that large amount of people can move into the church easily. Also frescos and images of
christian related things in the church also laid down the needs for Christian

Pan Africanism For Beginners Essay
Sid Lemelle hoped for his book, Pan Africanism for Beginners, to be a comprehensive guide to the
complex concept of Pan Africanism. Lemelle begins the book by broadly defining Pan Africanism to
mean the inclusion of all people of African ancestry living in continental Africa and throughout the
world. This definition sets the foundation for his analysis of Pan Africanism. Pan Africanism for
Beginners explores the major leaders and events associated with Pan African sentiments
chronologically. The exploration begins with the early pioneers of Pan Africanism (20) such as Prince
Hall, Paul Cuffe, Dr. Martin R. Delany, and Fredrick Douglass. While this was an early stage of Pan
Africanism, conflicting views on how to deal the issues of racism and oppression. Prince Hall and
Paul Cuffe believed in the emigration of blacks to Africa. However, Dr. Delany and Frederick
Douglass argued against emigration. Instead, they believed that the United States was their home, and
that they should remain (25). Lemelle notes that Dr. Delany later changed his attributes, however it is
unclear if he changes his views from support of emigration to opposition to emigration or vice versa.
This is not a major weakness; however, it did confuse me as a reader attempting to understand the
beginnings of Pan Africanism. One of the initial major Pan African events Lemelle introduced was the
creation of Sierra Leone s Province of Freedom along with the founding of Liberia. These two ex

Analysis Of The Goat Herder Dilemma
Introduction
Before I joined the Army, one of my mentors sat me down, looked me sternly in the face and said,
Even though you are not going into the infantry, even though you might not deploy, at some point in
time the Army may put you in a situation and ask that you take another person s life. You need to
square yourself with that. If you cannot do that and pull that trigger when that time comes, then you
should not join. It is important for new officers to think about how they will make ethical decisions
and what choices they may face. Conducting a cost benefit analysis when faced with two unethical
options is an effective way of choosing the least bad option and resulting relative cost. The United
States has ratified international laws such as the law of armed conflict that govern how and in what
manner the United States will conduct warfare. Within these documents are definitions of non
combatants and protected peoples who will not be brutalized or killed during the conduct of war.
However, revolutionaries and insurgents frequently use these ethical guidelines against greater
powers. Insurgent tactics may include the use of women and children to detonate or carry an explosive
or use them as a reconnaissance force. Adhering to the ethical law and rules that guide U.S. soldiers
may result in mission failure and the death or some or many of your teammates.

What Does Fortunato Symbolize
The carnival setting represents madness and fantasy which is the symbol for Montresor s mindset
(Lorcher 1). The narrator s reason for choosing this time of year to act out his revenge is intentional
because crowds are easily distracted at this time and there is a strong likelihood that his victim
Fortunato is going to be tipsy. Fortunato s attire is another symbol. He is dressed as a fool, a symbolic
representation of what he is (Lorcher 1). The title The Cask of Amontillado symbolizes two things.
First, the cask is a container for liquids which has the same root word as casket and symbolizes the
death that is about to come for Fortunato (Lorcher 1). The second is the Amontillado which turns out
to be Fortunato s downfall. Fortunato ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is ironical because of his misfortune buried alive in a catacomb. Many of Montresor s words and
actions are inundated with irony. At the beginning of the story, Montresor says, My dear Fortunato,
you are luckily met (11) leading Fortunato to believe he is glad to see his friend, but in actuality
Montresor is the lucky one because he can follow through with his plot for revenge and murder at
carnival time when people are less likely to notice someone missing. Another verbal irony in the story
takes place when Montresor says Come ... we will go back; your health is precious (12) after
Fortunato has a coughing fit due to the dampness of the catacombs. Fortunato replies that I shall not
die of a cough (12) to which Montresor replies True true (12). Montresor knows that Fortunato s death
will be a result of his own doing. Montresor s initial reaction to the murder is not one of regret but
rather his heart grew sick on account of the dampness of the catacombs (15). He does not feel well
because of the mustiness in the cellar. Poe s use of symbols and irony throughout the story draws the
reader into the suspense and mystery of why Montresor is committing such

The Between Cultures And Cultures
The deferments between cultures It is great to be familiar with the cultures of any country because
they are reflecting the nature and culture of people across country. The most amazing thing in the
knowledge of civilizations is that you will see that there is partnership between countries and others in
some of the habits and traditions. Perhaps you may wonder yourself why these people do this thing or
how it had come to this tradition, etc. As an example of functions in Asia to look alike in some habits I
will talking about this point in this article. The Europeans left their similarity in the traditions and all
the nations of the African continent, there s thing had in common you may see in the customs,
traditions or be in the arts, therefore when the aspirations of the people in any country will find the
rightful more than to be at home in front of the the TV and see what programs and news and to
etcetera social programs. Because at the moment, perhaps to see the news or programs and believes it
is true and in the end, when the people of the country liters that were taking about the news will
change your opinion about this country and the reason is that you have to meet with a member off this
country. When I stared researching this subject and after stay when I finished some personal
interviews with international students from different countries, I fund that there is what is common in
the customs and traditions. Many information has been taken from them and learned

Prisoner Of War Exhibit Analysis
As a 22 year veteran of the uniformed services walking through the Carroll Reese museum, I was
instantly and obviously drawn toward the Prisoner of War (POW) exhibit. However, even those not
associated with the military would be drawn in by the impact of the images and arrangement of the
exhibit. It is arranged so that a museum patron has to walk through the POW exhibit to progress
further into the museum, which highlights the centerpiece of the exhibit the missing man table. This
simple table summarizes the whole exhibit, solidifies it, and leaves an ache in your soul just by
viewing it. This is due largely to its placement within the exhibit. Location is everything, as they say,
and is true in this case as well. The missing man table

Speech On Mass Shootings
I have been a student at the Thomas County School System ever since I started pre school. I have
loved every minute of it. I have learned and had great experiences here but over the last four years of
my high school experience, I have noticed that there have been more and more scares of bombings
and shootings. Even though we do have a safe school and take precautions, there is still room for
error, I am proposing that we make the school a safer place for kids to learn by installing bulletproof
glass and each class having a door stopper. Most history about this subject really only goes back 70
years ago. Before that, no one knew what mass shooting were. These events were not committed
during these times. This subject is a relatively new concept that is mainly found in the U.S. In a recent
study, it shows that we are the leading country for mass shootings (Willingham). Following our
country is the Philippines, with a difference of 72 (Willingham). But it does not stop there, these
events are counting with new mass shootings like the Las Vegas Shooting, which is now the largest
one in our country s history with over 50 deaths and over 500 injuries (Yan, et. al.). Even though these
shootings are not near Thomasville. They are everywhere. They could easily strike in our town and no
one would be able to plan. Most of these events are mainly located in California, Florida, and Illinois,
and following that is Texas, Alabama, and Georgia (Willingham) One of the first mass

How far will one go to protect the ones he loves? To him his intentions are good, but others see no
good in what he is doing. Clover, also known as Colin has always been trying to live up to his mother

constantly feels that his mother is judging him through his mind. He was convinced that his mother
could communicated with him even though she is dead. If she wanted him to do something he did it
without hesitation. I can be good enough. I m as strong as Mother. No, I m stronger. I am a stronger

Ancient Mariner Religion
The Rime of The Ancient Mariner is a poem written by the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and it
focuses itself on a tale of an Ancient Mariner who is cursed for life, while he has to live telling the
story of his errors in order for people to not commit the same mistakes through religious allegories,
conveying different themes portraying Christianity. Although the tale of The Rime of the Ancient
Mariner is not religious in itself, since it does not follow any traditional Christian themes, there are
multiple of instances in which The Mariner sends a hidden message towards the audience. This
message is supported through Coleridge s symbolism to many biblical terms, which are found
throughout the poem, for example the mysterious wind hitting

The Problem Of Crime And Gun Violence
Although it seems like the problem of crime and gun violence is never approached or discussed, there
are leaders within America tirelessly working to find a solution to help decrease crime. Alex Yablon
puts it like this in his article on The Trace, saying the lack of progress on the federal level should not
be confused with a lack of proposed solutions to America s gun violence epidemic there are plenty of
those, on both sides of the table. Yablon means there are some bills that would limit the access to guns
as well as bills that would prevent the enforcement of restrictions on guns. However, he is not the only
one to have an opinion of how the government is viewing crime and gun violence. John Donohue, in
his article Gun Control: What We can learn from other Advanced Countries, points out that besides
being the world leader in the amount of guns available to citizens, the U.S. does not seem to be
making much progress on finding a solution. Donohue also goes on to say that, the stricter gun laws of
other advanced countries have restrained homicidal violence, suicides and gun accidents, despite there
being protest by the armed citizens (Newsweek Magazine Web). These two men each hold different
viewpoints when it comes to how they think crime and gun violence is being addressed by the
government, however, each of their viewpoints presents a valid opinion in regards to the issue. Still, in
order to fully understand what is going on at the federal level, one has to

Political Parties And The Republican Party Platform
Generally speaking, anyone who lives in the United States of America knows that there are two main
political parties the Republicans and the Democrats. Having two main parties has its advantages and,
of course, its disadvantages. For example, in By the People James E. Monroe and Rogan Kersh (301)
point out having this type of system creates predictability and stability. However, they also declare
(301) it can lead to a gridlock. This is not a new concept either as there has been a divide since the
beginning of both parties. The two parties more often than not disagree on various issues, while rarely
agreeing on what is best for the country.
Democrats and Republicans highly differ when comparing views on climate change. The Democrats
accept human role in climate change while many Republicans question if climate change is even real.
In the 2016 Democratic Party Platform (27), they state in the first 100 days of the next administration,
the president will convene a summit of the words best engineers, climate scientists, policy experts,
activists, and indigenous communities to chart a course to solve the climate crisis. This is highlighted
previously when President Obama, a Democrat, traveled to Paris for a convention about climate
change where he met other leaders around the world to make a plan to help fix the issues surrounding
climate change. This shows the basic principles of the Democratic Party as internationalist and having
the large government as it states in the

International And World Trade Law
Introduction International and World Trade Law Counterfeiting
This reflective paper will address several issues associated with international and world trade law as
they pertain to counterfeiting and discussing the connections between business, law, politics and ethics
with regard to counterfeiting. First, it will discuss the legal and ethical issues related to boycotting
goods from other countries, as well as the practical business implications of such a move. Next, this
paper will analyze the problem of World Trade Organization (WTO) participant nations and their
ability to address the problems of counterfeiting. Finally, it will discuss the type of action the United
Nations might take with regard to the counterfeiting issue.
Boycotting Goods from Other Countries
To discuss the legal and ethical issues relating to this subject, one must first define ethical behavior.
According to Merriam Webster, it is: ethics : an area of study that deals with ideas about what is good
and bad behavior : a branch of philosophy dealing with what is morally right or wrong (Simple
Definition of ethic, n.d., para 1). Whereas it is not illegal to boycott goods from other countries,
corporations usually do this for several reasons to include: as a protest against U.S. foreign policy, a
potential harm to U.S. relations with that country (due to dubious human rights practices, etc.), an
attempt to protect local/national produce, or an issue of quality of life (due to safety of

Should Chocolate Milk Be Allowed In Schools
Should Chocolate Milk Be Banned From Schools
An Argument Essay by Andy Xu
A lot of schools and schools have asked this question. Should chocolate milk be allowed in school?
This is a question that the principal of of Westpark Elementary wants the answer to. She decided to
ask our fifth grade class. I think chocolate milk should be allowed in schools because kids drink more
chocolate milk than white milk and like it better, chocolate milk is actually really nutritious and
healthy, and because it makes a better drink than sports drinks or Cola.
First of all, you should know that chocolate milk is a lot more tasty than white milk. For example, the

The Dairy Council of California states that chocolate milk helps the health and growth of children and

children hardly get, while it s still a very healthy drink. Equally important, chocolate milk doesn t

children that chocolate milk indeed does not have an effect on making you overweight. This makes me

Human Activities And Its Effects On The Environment Essay
Abstract Singapore and Malaysia are deeply affected with situations such as haze in the atmosphere
due to several causes that are mainly due to human activities. The interesting part about the issue is
that human activities are done in recklessness and in turn affect other human activities in the process.
Human activities such as education proves that human beings are not like any other living organisms
on the planet. Hence, we notice that education has to go on just like other activities which include
economic development and the health industry. Moreover, there are other causes of the haze which
entails the natural calamities such as heavy rainfall and tsunami. The industrial activities have been
affecting the geographical environment of the two countries negatively. Hence, judging by this, life
becomes very difficult for both human and animals as their health is at risk. If the issue is addressed
effectively then there will be a great improvement on health, education and economy in the two
countries.
Keywords: haze, health, tsunami, industrial activities.

Essay about Stewardship
Around the world in Christian and secular circles we hear the word stewardship. Not only is
stewardship one of the basic issues discussed in scripture, but it s also something we neglect as
something we need to concentrate on while going through our own Christian walk. We live in a
society that is very individualistic, concentrating on whatever will bring pleasure and make us feel
good. Stewardship definitely doesn t fit into the way society is today. Before going to far into this,
what exactly is stewardship? Stewardship is taking care of or managing every God given resource

There will come a day when we are going to be accountable for all our sins. Standing before Christ,
we will be asked how we plead to these sins, and judgement will occur. Throughout the Bible
stewardship is scattered everywhere, from the Old Testament days of Moses and Abraham to the
teachings of the disciples and Paul. When one carefully studies the word of God, it is truly evident that
we are to be stewards of our total self, not just time, talents, and money. God calls us to give our lives
up, not just our resources.

What Are Some Fishermen For Fishing During Adverse Weather...
Part A
Question 1:
The article suggests some fishermen choose piracy as an alternative to fishing during adverse weather
conditions. The table below lists some of the marginal costs and benefits to fisherman during the
adverse weather conditions. As shown above, not all cost can be measured in monetary value. Implicit
costs such as opportunity costs are also considered as these are important in order to determine the
economic profit.
Piracy has far more monetary benefits than fishing during the adverse weather as suggested in the
table. Furthermore, the marginal costs of piracy are mostly based to threats/expectations, while the
marginal costs of fishing are mostly based on facts. Hence it can be said that piracy has more marginal
benefits than fishing during the adverse weather, which causes an increase in piracy.
Question 2: part (a)
Market failure can be a result of externalities. As mentioned in the notes, the key points to externalities
are: As all they applications imply with the externalities keys, and externalities cause market failure;
the article does suggest that the growth of legalising gambling was a market failure.
Question2: part (b)
As Massimo Passamonti thinks that reducing gambling opportunities may improve the social well
being, there is in fact a scope for government intervention to make it happen.
The diagram below illustrates how imposing a tax on suppliers may affect the equilibrium: Imposing

Food in Hamlet by William Shakespeare Essays
Food in Hamlet by William Shakespeare
Unlike some of Shakespeare s other plays Hamlet doesn t seem to contain as many references to food.
When researching food in reference to The Merry Wives of Windsor, it was easy to see much of the
symbolism behind the many references. One of the most interesting references to food in Hamlet we
discussed in class. I found it really interesting how Shakespeare used posset as a way to describe
poison clotting in the ear. Unfortunately though, references like this are few and far between in
Hamlet. One scene that I found fascinating was in act four, scene five. This is the scene where,
apparently mad, Ophelia begins to distribute various flowers. These flowers, ... Show more content on

The next herb that Ophelia distributes is fennel. While she doesn t say what this is for, in the version
of Hamlet edited by Mowat and Westine, a side note adds that, fennel symbolized flattery and deceit
(216). I believe she distributed the fennel to Claudius. Ophelia has now been deceived by Hamlet,
abandoned by her father s death, and left with controlling Laertes. Needless to say, Ophelia is
probably really wary of males at this point in her life. The flattery that the fennel stands for would
make it an appropriate gift to a King and it can mask the fact that it also represents deceit. I think
Ophelia knew that Claudius was up to no good, especially with his speedy marriage and ill treatment
of Hamlet. The deceit could also stand for Claudius using Ophelia to deceive Hamlet in order to
discern his true mental state. After examining all this information it seems only fitting that Ophelia
would distribute the fennel to the King.
Ophelia continues distributing her herbs, however this time she saves some for herself, There s rue for
you, and here is some for me; we/ may call it herb of grace o Sundays (217). While it is unclear
exactly what this herb is, Ophelia is sure the meaning is not lost. By representing rue I feel that not
only did Ophelia keep this herb for herself, I believe she also gave

The Life of Ernest Hemingway
On July 21, 1899 Ernest Miller Hemingway was born in Cicero (Oak Park), Illinois. Clarence and
Grace Hemingway, Ernest s parents, raised him and his five siblings in the suburbs and spent time at
their cottage in northern Michigan. This is where Ernest learned his love of the outdoors. His father
taught him to row a boat, start a fire, clean and cook a fish, make a wild onion sandwich and handle a
gun (Reef, 2009). In high school Hemingway began to write for his school newspaper Trapeze and
Tabula. After graduating he became a journalist for the Kansas City Star. Working as a journalist
helped form his distinctively strip down writing style (biography.com). He wrote in short declarative
sentences and used vigorous english. In 1918, Hemingway went Italy during the first world war and
served the red cross as an ambulance driver for the Italian army. He served in the red cross for thirty
four days until he was wounded on July 8, while delivering cigarettes, chocolate, and postcards to
Italian soldiers (infobase) by a trench mortar shell. He was sent to a hospital in Milan and had 227
shell fragments removed from his leg. In the hospital Hemingway met nurse Agnes von Kurowsky
who he quickly fell in love with. The relationship was short lived and its devastating end provided
inspiration for one his most famous works, A Farewell to Arms. After Italy, Hemingway moved to
Toronto and became a journalist for the Toronto Star. While working for the star he traveled to

Pirates Of The Caribbe On Stranger Tides
Hollywood today spends more money on movies than ever before, with an average budget of $140
million per movie. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides; the most expensive movie ever made;
cost approximately $378.5 million and that was five years ago. This isn t surprising since history is
witness to a rising trend in money spent on movies, even after adjusting for inflation, however, their
impact on the industry isn t as large as their budgets. Over the years, lower cost productions like B
Movies have played a major role in carrying the industry forward by keeping it stable, moving and
profitable in times of trouble. B Movies came to be the need of the hour after The Great Depression
and World War II. Money was tight everywhere and Hollywood could not continue making
extravagant movies therefore they turned to low budget commercial films. These movies not only
have an economical significance in Hollywood, they have made more than one contribution to the
industry. These low risk movies provided directors, writers and producers with a wide scope for
experimentation and led to the creation of many a genres and sub genres. The origins of B Movies are
humble but over the years that they grew in Hollywood, they became more significant and successful,
yet their progress from Rags to Riches remains more a behind the scenes heroic act than a superhero
effort. B Movies originally came into being to serve the purpose of being the second class feature in

Last month, I made a telephone call to a man I ve known for more than 20 years. For the purpose of
this article, I m going to call him Luke. I hadn t seen Luke for several months and I wanted to see
what was going on with him. Before he disappeared, I saw him at least once a week in the adoration
chapel.
After Luke stopped showing up at the chapel, I asked another person who knows him what had
happened to him. The person told me that he had heard that a priest at Luke s church had said
something that was offensive to Luke. After that, Luke stopped showing up at church. He also stopped

To conclude, we here at St john s are under the impression that this new policy needs major changes
made in order to become effective in the long run. We feel that had more clarity been evident, then
some points could have been welcome, however this has not been the case. An important concept that

Duke Lacrosse Theory
The Duke Lacrosse team s story illustrates how a single lie can set off a storm of racial and status
related tension that has been simmering for years. The events that took place can be best described by
the ideas associated with the Conflict Theory Approach to socialization. The clash of white versus
black, rich versus poor, and privileged or entitled versus normal, made this the perfect opportunity for
media outlets to shed light on this idea of entitlement in society. Ultimately, turning what was
supposed to be a criminal investigation into a full on status war within Durham, North Carolina and
communities across the nation. This snap judgment of guilt that was portrayed throughout the media

themselves as a whole look bad. This whole incident could have been avoided had the proper actions

Mexico Gender Inequality
Gender inequality is the unequal treatment or perceptions of individuals based on their gender. It
arises from differences in socially constructed gender roles. Throughout the world there are men and
women who seek change in society s gender infrastructure, they seek equality and justice for both
genders. In some developing nations like the countries in the Middle East, China, and India, women
are still perceived as the inferior gender; they re forced to be obedient to the opposite sex, their basic
rights are restricted and they aren t treated fairly in most cases. However, in developing countries like
Mexico, the condition of women in the country has improved drastically over time and is currently
relatively ethical.

Over the years, the education system in Mexico has improved, and more and more people are
becoming educated due to the easier access of schools. According to the 2015 UN Human
Development Report 99.0% of females aged 15 24 were literate between 2005 and 2013, slightly
above the 98.7% for males. Mexican girls had 13.2 expected years of schooling in 2014, above the
boys 12.9. The difference in numbers between male and female students begins to diversify itself at
the secondary level. At the high school level, (preparatoria) students may choose between a
curriculum oriented towards preparing them for higher education and a curriculum which is oriented
towards technical schools (Parker/Pederzini 7). Among these two options, women in Mexico consider
choosing technical school more favorable and popular since it can be taken at the primary, secondary,
and tertiary(university) level. Technical school is normally one to three years and involves the training
of skills for a particular occupation like electrician, mechanic, craftsman, etc. In Mexico, it is reported
that almost 15% of women have attended technical school as opposed to 7.5% of

Statue Of Liberty
I will be writing my essay about a painting by Zineb Trifi Sjahsam named America. What is the
symbolic meaning of the Statue of Liberty? What is the interpretation of the Constitution? Of course, I
learned about the Statue of Liberty and the Constitution in grade school and what it is supposed to
mean. But, when we take a step back and look at the world today is freedom what we really see? Now
sure, people aren t walking around still referring to their boss as masta or being put into concentration
camps because of their beliefs, but sure enough people are being targeted because of their beliefs in
different forms now days. I choose this painting because in the mist of the horrible events going on in

The artist uses the vertical and horizontal line to create a border which focuses the audience attention
on the Statue of Liberty. The artist uses implied lines all throughout the painting. The implied lines are
not lines at all but actually letters and words used to be lines. vertical and implied lines are both used
at the bottom of the Statue of Liberty to communicate the stability of the Statue of Liberty. Irregular
lines and directional line are also used in the painting to express freedom and draw the audience
attention to different areas of the painting. I believe the simple color of black paint and the tan
cannabis resembles the famous tan paper and black ink used to write the constitution. The constitution
paper is old and wrinkled the artist used a combination of white and tan brush strokes to create a
similar wrinkled paper. In the painting the artist uses shapes by creating a rectangular border around
the focal point. Lastly, I believe the artist uses passage of time to remind us of our founding fathers
values. The artist uses the constitution to communicate the beliefs of our founding fathers but writes it
in Arabic to symbolize the modern day treatment of Arabic

SEGMENTATION OF BRAIN MR IMAGES FOR TUMOR AREAAND SIZE DETECTION BY USING OF CLUSTERING ALGORITHM Shinu Sadeyone1 Assistant professor (Sathyabama University, Chennai) S.Freeda2 Assistant professor (A.C.T engineering college, Chngalpattu) 1shinusedayone@gmail.com. 2freeda27@gmail.com. Abstract There are different types of tumors are available. Astrocytoma is the most common type of tumor (30% of all brain tumor) and is usually a malignant one. Astrocytoma can be subdivided into four grades. Each grade has its own characteristics and unique treatment. In the event that any wrong treatment is given to these evaluations that prompts passing. So finding the position and shape of tumor is very important for the further treatment. The proposed system of this paper is to find the exact position and shape of the tumor cells. That helps the physician for further treatment. In the proposed system, it consists of four modules (i) Pre processing, (ii) Segmentation of brain in MR Images,(iii) Quality extraction and (iv) Inexact reasoning. Preprocessing is carried out by sifting. Segmentation is carried out by cutting edge both K means and Fuzzy C means calculations. Quality extraction is by thresholding. Finally, Approximate reasoning method to recognize the tumor shape and position in MRI image. If the tumor is a mass in shape then k means algorithm is enough to extract it from brain cells. Suppose if it is a malignant (spread over the brain) one then the Fuzzy C means algorithm ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Political Theory Of The Chilean Economy Despite the small size of the Chilean economy and its rather relative weight in the global economy, several accounts acknowledge that Chile was at the forefront of the worldwide neoliberal experiment since the mid 1970s under the civic military dictatorship that ruled the nation between 1973 and 1990 (Harvey, 2005a; Klein, 2007; McChesney, 1999; Paley, 2001; Stiglitz, 2002). Indeed, the Chilean authoritarian regime not only has radically applied neoclassical theory, but also turns it into the founding philosophy of a new society (Valdés, 1989: 35). Actually, Chile has been a warm laboratory for the most classic economic trends since the 1950s, when the so called Klein Saks mission was hired by the Chilean government to analyze the ... Specific political projects embodying different schools of thought have fueled three waves of neoliberalism, with both economic and ethical implications (Ong, 2006). In a first moment, Hayek and his Homo economicus as the basis of a free political order and Friedman and Becker have philosophically supported what Thatcher (Thatcherism) and Reagan (Reagonimics) implemented in the United Kingdom and in the United States in the late 1970s and the 1980s. The Clinton (US) and the Blair (UK) administrations in the 1990s represent promote the individual internalization of self governamentality or self responsibility. In this second wave of neoliberalism, the broad social, political, economic, and cultural principles underneath neoliberalism became common sense and were naturalized as an individual action. Finally, entrepreneurialism or the communitarian ideal of responsibility is a third wave of neoliberalism. Therefore, neoliberal policies of shrinking the state are accompanied by a proliferation of techniques to remake the subjects ; so, neoliberal logic requires free, self managing, and self enterprising individuals in different spheres of everyday life (Ong, 2006: 14). One of the most principle design was the longitudinal axis as the building now had the focus of attention to the opposite end to the entrance. This was because it was a church thus that design enabled number of people to gather for the liturgy with an inward focus on the altar. Another principle design is the series of arches/pillars on both sides, that are continuous throughout the side of the church. The purpose of that is to again lead your eyes into the critical point of the church, the altar. Note that the pillars are in corinthian style. Another notable design is the wooden door in the entrance which it has carved imageries of scenes from the Bible, basically a frieze but on wood. There is also, inside the church one aisle on each side behind the arches/pillars, and the central naive which has a wide open space. Also opposite of the church there is the altar which is in a semi circular space. • 6. Pan Africanism For Beginners Essay Sid Lemelle hoped for his book, Pan Africanism for Beginners, to be a comprehensive guide to the complex concept of Pan Africanism. Lemelle begins the book by broadly defining Pan Africanism to mean the inclusion of all people of African ancestry living in continental Africa and throughout the world. This definition sets the foundation for his analysis of Pan Africanism. Pan Africanism for Beginners explores the major leaders and events associated with Pan African sentiments chronologically. The exploration begins with the early pioneers of Pan Africanism (20) such as Prince Hall, Paul Cuffe, Dr. Martin R. Delany, and Fredrick Douglass. While this was an early stage of Pan Africanism, conflicting views on how to deal the issues of racism and oppression. Prince Hall and Paul Cuffe believed in the emigration of blacks to Africa. However, Dr. Delany and Frederick Douglass argued against emigration. Instead, they believed that the United States was their home, and that they should remain (25). Lemelle notes that Dr. Delany later changed his attributes, however it is unclear if he changes his views from support of emigration to opposition to emigration or vice versa. This is not a major weakness; however, it did confuse me as a reader attempting to understand the beginnings of Pan Africanism. One of the initial major Pan African events Lemelle introduced was the creation of Sierra Leone s Province of Freedom along with the founding of Liberia. These two ex slave ... Analysis Of The Goat Herder Dilemma Introduction Before I joined the Army, one of my mentors sat me down, looked me sternly in the face and said, Even though you are not going into the infantry, even though you might not deploy, at some point in time the Army may put you in a situation and ask that you take another person s life. You need to square yourself with that. If you cannot do that and pull that trigger when that time comes, then you should not join. It is important for new officers to think about how they will make ethical decisions and what choices they may face. Conducting a cost benefit analysis when faced with two unethical options is an effective way of choosing the least bad option and resulting relative cost. The United States has ratified international laws such as the law of armed conflict that govern how and in what manner the United States will conduct warfare. Within these documents are definitions of non combatants and protected peoples who will not be brutalized or killed during the conduct of war. However, revolutionaries and insurgents frequently use these ethical guidelines against greater powers. Insurgent tactics may include the use of women and children to detonate or carry an explosive or use them as a reconnaissance force. I have learned and had great experiences here but over the last four years of my high school experience, I have noticed that there have been more and more scares of bombings and shootings. Even though we do have a safe school and take precautions, there is still room for error, I am proposing that we make the school a safer place for kids to learn by installing bulletproof glass and each class having a door stopper. Most history about this subject really only goes back 70 years ago. Before that, no one knew what mass shooting were. These events were not committed during these times. The table below lists some of the marginal costs and benefits to fisherman during the adverse weather conditions. As shown above, not all cost can be measured in monetary value. Implicit costs such as opportunity costs are also considered as these are important in order to determine the economic profit. This is where Ernest learned his love of the outdoors. His father taught him to row a boat, start a fire, clean and cook a fish, make a wild onion sandwich and handle a gun (Reef, 2009). In high school Hemingway began to write for his school newspaper Trapeze and Tabula. After graduating he became a journalist for the Kansas City Star. Working as a journalist helped form his distinctively strip down writing style (biography.com). He wrote in short declarative sentences and used vigorous english. In 1918, Hemingway went Italy during the first world war and served the red cross as an ambulance driver for the Italian army. He served in the red cross for thirty four days until he was wounded on July 8, while delivering cigarettes, chocolate, and postcards to Italian soldiers (infobase) by a trench mortar shell. He was sent to a hospital in Milan and had 227 shell fragments removed from his leg. In the hospital Hemingway met nurse Agnes von Kurowsky who he quickly fell in love with. The relationship was short lived and its devastating end provided inspiration for one his most famous works, A Farewell to Arms. After Italy, Hemingway moved to Toronto and became a journalist for the Toronto Star. While working for the star he traveled to Chicago, where ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This isn t surprising since history is witness to a rising trend in money spent on movies, even after adjusting for inflation, however, their impact on the industry isn t as large as their budgets. Over the years, lower cost productions like B Movies have played a major role in carrying the industry forward by keeping it stable, moving and profitable in times of trouble. B Movies came to be the need of the hour after The Great Depression and World War II. Money was tight everywhere and Hollywood could not continue making extravagant movies therefore they turned to low budget commercial films. These movies not only have an economical significance in Hollywood, they have made more than one contribution to the industry. These low risk movies provided directors, writers and producers with a wide scope for experimentation and led to the creation of many a genres and sub genres. The origins of B Movies are humble but over the years that they grew in Hollywood, they became more significant and successful, yet their progress from Rags to Riches remains more a behind the scenes heroic act than a superhero effort. B Movies originally came into being to serve the purpose of being the second class feature in the double feature ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Now sure, people aren t walking around still referring to their boss as masta or being put into concentration camps because of their beliefs, but sure enough people are being targeted because of their beliefs in different forms now days. Irregular lines and directional line are also used in the painting to express freedom and draw the audience attention to different areas of the painting. The constitution paper is old and wrinkled the artist used a combination of white and tan brush strokes to create a similar wrinkled paper. In the painting the artist uses shapes by creating a rectangular border around the focal point. Lastly, I believe the artist uses passage of time to remind us of our founding fathers values.
