Industrial Organizational Psychology And Social Psychology
Introduction
Prior to jumping right into millennial workers and the fields of recruiting and selection in industries
and organizations and understanding how this relates to Industrial Organizational Psychology, one
may find it helpful to understand what Industrial Organizational Psychology is and what it has to
do with the working world. Landy and Conte (2016) defines Industrial Organizational Psychology
as the scientific study of the workplace or the application of psychological principles, theory, and
research to the work setting. So, in this document we will explore the fields of recruiting and
selection in industries and organizations and examine this in conjunction with the needs and
demands of the millennial workers coming into the workforce. We will also look at any adaptions
that may needed in the recruitment and selection process when working with this new generation
of workers and explain why these changes may be needed. First, let s look at millennial workers
and their role in the working world today.
Who Are Millennial Workers?
Millennial workers are considered the younger workers and according to Landy and Conte
(2016) they are often referred to as Generation Xers or Generation Yers as these are the
individuals born between 1980 and 1995. With millennial workers being of the younger
generations, they have a new working style and may be considered a powerful generation of
workers. Millennial workers are important as the Baby Boomers are now retiring and there

Tax Payer Laws And Criminal Laws
There are a lot of disorders that arose in the country we live in today and it s all because of our
corrupt system. These laws are tax payer laws and criminal laws in general. In the United States
of America, some citizens can argue that our government is fair enough when it comes to the
rate of our taxes and how the government utilizes the money that we re basically required to pay
to them. On the other hand, however, some individuals can argue that the government spends
their tax dollars on things that our nation doesn t really needs. Being citizens of this country, we
sometimes don t get an input on what the government decides to spend the money on. One
controversial topic that has been in and out of the news for the past few years is the issue of
whether or not our tax dollars should be paying for lawbreakers we have behind bars. Some say
that there are better methods for paying or there could also be less expensive punishments to get
the same job done for less. Today, whether it is federal or state jails in the United States, all jails
are paid for using American tax dollars. Some citizens are in disbelief that our country allows
this and some are furious to the fact that we basically are required to pay for the free meals and
housing for convicted felon that has previously broken the law. Paying for taxes can sometimes be
a tad bit stressful, the date April 15, for example. A lot of normal Americans who complete their
own taxes have that date steam pressed into the

High Crimesdemeanor Summary
In the documentary, High Crimes and Misdemeanor (1990) produced by frontline, details the side
effects from the Iran Contra affair proposed by the Reagan Administration and the consequences of
the Reagan administration for not complying with its constitutional authority on notifying the
United States Congress on the covert operation, which is the main organ responsible for the
appropriations of funds and its allocation. The Covert Operation facilitated the sale of arms to Iran,
which was under a strict arms embargo during the hostage situation in 1979.

However, the Reagan administration avoided Congresses requests and proceeded to oversee covert
military aid by raising private and foreign funds for the contras.
Initially the agenda was to allow Israel to ship weapons to Iran and the United States would be
responsible to later resupply Israel and receive their payments in a timely manner. However,
Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North a hawkish leader of the National Security Council modified the
plan to allow the proceeds received from the sale of arms to Iran to be diverted to fund anti
Sandinista and anti communist rebels against the communist backed Nicaraguan Government.
This scandal garnered the public to become very dubious and outraged about the Reagans
Administrations ambitions within Latin America, several investigations ensued mainly by the U.S.
Congress, but the sale of weapons to Iran was not deemed a criminal offense and President Ronald
Reagan was not in violation of law because of the refusal to declassify prominent documents.
However, key actors within the administration were charged for being an accomplice to the

Bubbles
I once had a pet fish and I named him Bubbles. Bubbles was my very first fish and I have some
very fond memories of him. My first memory of Bubbles was when I got him at the store. The
day I went to the store I remember walking up to the fish tank and picking out which fish I
wanted. I decided to pick the smallest one because I wanted to see how much he could grow. I
told my dad, I want the smallest one! The pet store owner caught the smallest one and put him
into a plastic bag. Me and my brother Dillon were very excited because it was our very fish. We
took him home and put him in the new fish tank that we bought. Dillon and I were in such awe
of the fish that we sat for hours just staring at the fish swim around. My dad told us, Although that
fish may be small now it will grow to be big someday! From that day forward we watched Bubbles
as he grew and grew becoming bigger each day we fed him. A few weeks after we got Bubbles me
and my brother decided that we wanted Bubbles to have a friend. We saw the Bubbles looked
lonely so we wanted him to have a friend to swim around with so we asked Dad if we could get

Legal Risk Case Study
Legal Risk
I work in a restaurant environment. As one can imagine, there are numberous health and safety, and
therefore legal, risks which must be considered at all times. This particularly true when rolling out
new processes and proceedures. Recently, the restranunt I work for switched the physical way the
menure items are brought to the guest to tray service (meaning eveything is brought to the guests
table on a large, black, oval tray). However, quickly after implimentation it became apparent there
was not enough consideration given to risk regarding the tray service. Problems with the new trays
include:
1: Weight The weight of the tray, tray jack, and the nitouriouly large portions of foodis sevear.
Complications do to the wieght of the trays include staffs inablity to lift them, set them down, and
delivery them, without injury. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Size The doorways of the restaurant cannot accomadte the size of a person as well as the size of
the tray. Therefor, trays must be held above the servers head, rather than resting on his/her
shoulder, to navigate the restrant. Best case senario the server is at risk of droping the tray and
costing the store food/buisness, but more alarmingly, risks injuring the staff. The trays are also so
large, visibility is obstrusted which has already resulted in an injury to a child patron.
If the restaurant had considered the four stages of risk management, the trays may not have been
implimented as:
1. Identify all foreseeable hazards (White Fortune, 2002). Both weight and size concerns should
have been glarring obvious, especially since doorway size has been a known ADA concern for the
establishment in the past (meaning the owners know the building has small doorways). Also, being
known for excessive portions could have tiped a critical thinker off that weight was going to be a

Enrollment Management Within Postsecondary Education
The position of Director of Admission is an integral part of enrollment management within
postsecondary education. What is enrollment management and what part does the Director of
Admissions play within it? Enrollment management is an institutional tool designed to deal with
how students choose a college, how they make the transition to higher education, what leads them to
stay or drop out, and what influences how well they do while enrolled (Hossler, 2004). According to
Baker, in her article, Introducing Enrollment management, the division of enrollment management
encompasses four areas:
Admissions: taking students from recruitment to enrolled through collaboration with financial aid,
registration, orientation, curriculum, and student life.
Retention: keeping enrolled or re enrolling students
Research: Collecting and analyzing trends that affect enrollment
Marketing: Promoting the institution
The Director of Admissions embodies the admissions or recruitment aspect of the division.
Reporting directly to the President of the university or the Vice President of enrollment
management, the Director provides guidance and direction to the admissions staff, recognizes
trends in enrollment, conducts research and analyzes data to ensure that the Admissions
Department is meeting the enrollment standards of the institution. The position typically requires a
Master s degree and 1 3 years of managerial experience in college admissions (Monster. 2013). The

Beethoven Essay
The rise of Ludwig van Beethoven into the rank of history s greatest composers was paralleled by
and in some ways a consequence of his own personal tragedy and despair.
Beethoven s family was of the Flemish origin. His mother, Maria Magdalena, died after a long
illness when Beethoven was only 17. He was not the only child in this family though. He had 2
brothers and 1 sister, both to which were disorganized and unruly. His family was always in
constant need of funds.
Beethoven showed his extraordinary musical talent at an early age. His father hoped he could
induce his child s development and make him more like Mozart, and possibly bring in some
money for the family which was desperately in need.
As a child, Beethoven never was too ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He began to study with other teachers and soon became very popular in Vienna. Some were pleased
with his performances, but others were embarrassed by his arrogance and bad manners.
In the late 1790 s, Beethoven discovered an increasing buzzing and humming in his ears and it
sent him into panic, searching for a cure. In 1802, he wrote a letter to his brother describing his
anguish. He asked his brother to read the letter at the funeral. His suffering had a brief respite
when he soon fell in love with a young countess, and dedicated a song to her called Moonlight
Sonata . Even after this, she did not marry Beethoven.
By October 1802, he had written the Heiligenstadt Testament confessing his deafness, and suicidal
considerations.
By about 1800, Beethoven was mastering the Viennese High Classic style. Although Mozart had
first perfected the style, Beethoven did extend it to some degree. Having displayed a wide range of
his piano writing, he was also beginning to forge a new voice for the violin.
Beethoven s deafness landed him into a major cycle of depression. In his Testament, he reveals
his malaise that was sending him to the edge of despair. He speaks of suicide in the same breath as
a reluctance to die. Having searched vainly for a

Persuasive Essay On Iraq War
ISIL or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant has been terrorizing the middle east for some
years. Their terror has been felt all around the world. The senseless killing has been showcased
all over the world in their social media campaign. However, ISIL has shown that when given
response they thrive. Countries have given ISIL millions of dollars in order to save their hostages.
America has stood strong and has not fell to their demands. We must not give into pressure from
ISIL and must refrain from sending American boots on the Syrian and Iraqi ground. Americans
should have learned from the war on Iraqthat we must be tentative on entering another foreign war.
A war against ISIL could be America s next dark era of history.
America s invasion of Iraq in 2003 led to many smaller branches of terror groups to form. ISIL
grouped as a small organization who pledged their allegiance to Osama Bin Laden s al Qaeda. In
ISIL s early days it was not a huge organization with swaths of land, it was dedicated in getting U.S.

involvement in the Middle East. The money that we lost is not even the biggest issue.
How could we send our army into another war when we just brought them home. Under
President Barack Obama thousands of troops were brought stateside. How could we rip them

Roles Of President Essay
Many people do not really know how important the roles of the U.S. President are, and how far his
power could reach. He plays many roles and each of them has some important tasks that has to be
accomplished; from being the Chief Executive to Head of the state, all of them are greatly
important to the benefit of this country. One of his most important roles is being the Chief
Legislator of the nation. He runs all the legislations and write the majority of the laws. In addition,
he represents the major factor in the congressional agenda. Something certainly interesting is the
fact that the presidentcould influence the legislation process in which if it passes or not,

Congress, treaties and judgments from the federal court. He also appoints any position for this

has been accused of something. As another critical role played by the President is as Chief
Diplomat. He is in charge of recognizing foreign governments, making treaties and executive
agreements between the president and other heads of state. Furthermore, he directs the American
foreign policy and has diplomatic recognition. As one of his jobs in this branch, he hires
ambassadors and makes foreign laws. As the last role of the President explained, he represents the
Head of State. In which means that he represents the ceremonial head of the government as a
symbol of the nation. One example is the president throwing the first pitch in the Major League of

Why Voting Is Important For Public Policy
Voting is very essential and one of the easiest methods to influence public policy. You just need
to be registered, and go to a polling station. It is simple because the government encourages
people to vote, to hear a broad range of opinions. It is a form of direct democracy because when
you vote, it directly affects the side or issue you support. Your vote is one more supporting
opinion for a candidate or issue that is counted. Some people may think that their vote won t
make a big difference, but if you look at it from another perspective it can impact smaller and
local issues. Although voting is imperative because you are given this privilege at the age of 18, it
is not the end of one s ability to influence government, but rather the beginning. Public policyis a
system of laws that the government created for the citizens in order to maintain order. Public
policy should be fair for all the citizens, however, on many occasions it is hard to accommodate
for all races and social classes such as lower, middle, and upper class. An example of an effective
method to utilize that influences public policy is civil disobedience. Let s use the policy that
imposed high taxation on tobaccoand alcohol to demonstrate one s ability to impact the
government. First and foremost the policy is beneficial for the government because it generates
revenue that is earned from the products, however the consequence is that it encourages illegal
activity. There

California obviously doesn t have any statistics to report yet because the law making assisted

not mean that the patient has to take it. Some don t take it at all, and some wait weeks after to take

Animal Testing On Animals
A rabbit lives its life trapped in a laboratory. It doesn t get fresh air and has different products
tested on it every day. The product can make the rabbit go blind or cause its skin to burn, but there
is nothing the rabbit can do about it. This is what happens to animals every day from cosmetic
companies who test their products on animals. According to Cruelty Free Kitty (2017), over 30
cosmetic companies continue to use animal testingto improve their products. According to the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration (2017), the agency has consistently advised cosmetic manufactures
to employ whatever testing is appropriate and effective for substantiating the safety of their
products. This means that if the company believes animal testing is the best option for their product
they are allowed to do it. Testing cosmetics on animals is cruel and inhumane, and people should
avoid using products that test on animals.
There are many different tests that are performed on animals. According to The Humane Society of
The United States (n.d), it is estimated that 500,000 mice, guinea pigs, rats, and rabbits suffer and
die in these tests every year throughout the world. 500,000 innocent animals are used to improve
cosmetic company s products. One example of a test performed on animals are skin irritation
/corrosion. According to the Humane Society of The United States (n.d.), The test substance is
applied to the shaved skin of a rabbit. Their skin may show signs of redness, rash,

Advent of Industrialization Essay
The advent of industrialization in the early nineteenth century had wide reaching impacts on
economics, politics, society and demographics. The transition from an agrarian and feudal system
of production to an industrial and capitalistic system brought about many changes to the lives of
Europeans. Some of these changes include gender issues, immigration, medicine, the rise of liberal
and socialist politics, and the rise of some famous political movements. In the following essay I will
expand upon some of the many ramifications that industrialization brought to fruition.
Before the advent of industrialization much of European production was focused on agriculture for
practical reasons. A nation must produce enough food to feed its... Show more content on

The price of beef, tea and sugar had also come down, allowing many middle class families to enjoy
these luxuries in their diet.
The middle class may have seen some positive changes during this time period, but the working
class was not nearly as fortunate. Conditions for the working class were terrible and unsanitary.
Many working class families were crowded into small apartments with dirt floors, no indoor
plumbing, and their general lot in life was quite miserable. I remember our book talking about the
filth from chamber pots, the mold and mildew that grew rampantly inside these dwellings, and the
lack of sanitation. Their diet was also a sad tale. While the middle class could afford beef and
sugar, the working class was forced to subsist mainly on bread. This lack of protein and necessary
vitamins and minerals would have put them at a much higher risk for disease and malnutrition.
The division in quality of life gave rise to a set of political principles and ideologies known as
liberalism. The liberal movement in thought, politics, and social constructs can be seen in popular
political movements of the mid nineteenth century. The Charter Movement in Great Britain can be
seen as an example of the liberal democratic movements. Chartism sought to obtain universal male

Seahorse Research Paper
Did you know that seahorses are the only members of the Hippocampus species? The name
Hippocampus is Greek, it means Horse Sea Monster. There are thirty four different species of
seahorses. Many people are surprised when they find out that seahorses are a type of fish. They
have fins and gills, the defining features of a fish. When seahorses are in a group they are called a
herd, just like horses. Seahorses usually live one to five years, but they are becoming
endangered because their habitat is slowly being destroyed. Seahorses can be as small as one
inch long and as tall as twelve inches long! (Trisha Shaskan, page 23) Seahorses are not alone
though, the Syngnathidae family also includes pipefish and seadragons. Syngnathidae means
fused jaw. Pipefish are very similar to seahorses, but there are also differences. For example they
look a little different, their necks are not bent, and they are very long and thin. Only a few male
pipefish have pouches to hold babies like male seahorses. The rest attach the eggs to their stomach

The Risks And Rewardss Of Auto Racing
Driving cars is a common activity that many people have experienced before, be it as the driver
or as a passenger. However, there are those who take driving to a whole new level, and push
themselves and their cars to the limit. Those who do so take part in the activity called auto
racing . Auto Racing is a popular and thrilling activity, which involves cars racing in competition.
This activity is a thrill seeking activity as it involves high speeds and having drivers placed in
risky situations because of this speed. This paper analyzes the risks and rewards of auto racingto see
if it can be a viable recreational activity for the general public.

In a motor show, 26 people got injured after a unprofessional driver lost control of his car sped
off the track and into a section of the crowd (Times of Malta, 2015). The danger is not restricted
to those who practice auto racing as a legal hobby, but those who do it illegally on the streets. Street
racing is an illegal and unsanctioned activity that can be spontaneous or well coordinated, often
with modified cars that race on public streets. The Los Angeles (LA) traffic police issued
hundreds of citations and made scores of arrests in 2014 regarding illegal street racing (Stevens,
Shyong, Meija, 2016). Even with police efforts, street racing is still reported to be on the rise.
An illegal street race in LA resulted in three deaths with several others injured in February this
year (Stevens, Shyong, Meija, 2016) and a passenger in a street racing car in California died just
this month after the driver lost control of his car and crashed into a light pole (Hamilton, 2016).
Why do so many people still continue to take part in such street races despite the obvious physical
danger and risks of getting into trouble with the law? Perhaps the reason lies in the

Substance Abuse In Canada
The results of the government s efforts to assimilate Aboriginal people throughout Canada s
history has effected multiple generations of families and continues to have devastating effects on
First Nations communities today. It was under Prime Minister Sir John A MacDonald, in 1880,
that the plan to assimilate was first launched. Indigenous people were commonly disregarded and
referred to as savages, and considered to be uncivilized. During 1913 1934, Duncan Campbell
Scott was the Deputy Superintendent of Indian Affairs. Scott, now considered to be one of the
worst Canadians of all times, declared in 1920 I want to get rid of the Indian problem (...) at which

Thesis Discussion
DNA phenotyping serves to determine the physical attributes of a specific individual based off
of genetic material that was left behind at a crime scene. By being able to determine physical
traits such as hair color, eye color, height and skin pigmentation researchers can narrow in on the
appearance of a person who committed a crime. This is crucial in forensic genetics who s

Science is providing us the chance to change lives and save lives, outweighing the negatives that
may result. Forensic DNA Phenotyping will make crime investigation increasingly more
efficient due to it s ability to determine certain attributes of the suspect. Instead of the police
investigators searching for a suspect without any idea of who they should be searching for,
through DNA phenotyping police can now have a narrower clue as to the appearance of the
individual due to the ability to determine their faces morphology including hair color, eye color,
skin pigmentation, gender, and height. Compared to current practice of racial profiling used by
investigators following a crime, DNA phenotyping would eliminate this practice by providing
and more detailed profile of who it is they should be searching for. Making forensic DNA
phenotyping far more efficient and reliable then other methods. Also, the use of eye witnesses
who are not always accurate often lead to the conviction of an innocent individual. This can be
prevented by forensic DNA phenotyping and eliminate the possibility of a wrong accusation by
providing genetic basis for it s claims. Though more phenotyping is in the works, currently sex,
hair color, and iris color have been proven, along with being able to provide a detailed profile of
an individual. Also, DNA phenotyping such as testing for a DNA match, or simply matching DNA
/fingerprints to an individual should be used because the results are fact

What Is A Political Allegory In Lord Of The Flies
World War II caused an amount of destruction and harm that no human being had ever seen
before, many were disgusted and outraged by the results of this war. It was a very memorable
event; one that authors tend to write about a lot, even to this day. One author in particular,
WIlliam Golding, uses his world famous piece of literature Lord of the Flies as a political
allegory to World War 2. In his classic novel, he shows little boys who are flown out to avoid the
danger of being bombed and become trapped on an island. While they are trapped, the boys
develop separate ways of leading each other which leads to conflict and violence, similar to the
governments in which were clashing with each other during World War 2 at the time. Through
the differences of these boys, Golding shows to us how they relate to the major leaders of World
War 2 (Hitler, Franklin Roosevelt, and Neville Chamberlain), and how democracy is the best
way to govern people. Hitler was the ruler of Germany during World War II, and he ruled over
his people in fear. Jack is commonly described to being similar if not exactly like Hitler. Golding
leaves many examples in the novel to show how Jack and Hitler are alike. Both of them
promised their citizens a better life, they both promise their country meat (Golding 140), and they
both lead as a dictator, taking their power with force and leading as the only chief of the state. Jack
is described in the book as a terror (Golding 189) and Hitler has been

Ethical And Ideological Ideas In Ancient China

Alice Gilbert Monologue
A few minutes passed by until Alice was able to speak and let me lead he back to the bedroom.
We sat on the end of the bed until 6:30 am while Alice explained to me that it was Mrs. Gilbert
on the phone, a co worker at the Elementary School, and the wife of Mr. Gilbert the town s

America Vote Act ( Hava )
I was surprised to discover that voter identification began in 1950 when South Carolina became
the first state to request some form of identification from voters at the polling precincts. Then
Hawaii followed in 1970, Texas in 1971, Florida in 1977, and Alaska in 1980. Some of them
asked for an ID with a photo, while others asked for any type of document with or without a
photo; all provided other means for people to vote if they couldn t present identification. By 2000,
fourteen states were asking for voter identification documents ( Voter ID ). That year, we had a
highly disputed presidential election. Following its outcome, the United StatesCongress passed the
Help America Vote Act (HAVA) in 2002, which ushered in comprehensive election reform. Under
the law, states are required to follow mandatory minimum standards that included implementing
new programs and procedures such as provisional voting; voting information and voter education;
upgraded, tested and certified voting technology; statewide voter registration list; voter
identification procedures; and an improved election administration system ( Help America Vote Act
). The Commission on Federal Election Reform advocated similar propositions in their 2005 report
(69 70). Consequently, voter ID laws were enacted around the country. The laws require eligible
voters to produce government issued identification before casting a countable ballot at the polls.

Examples Of Workplace Discrimination
1.How do I define discrimination in my own words and discrimination prevention in my own
words?
Discrimination is a long word, difficult pronunciation, tough to spell; yet, usage is exceedingly
common. Righteous teaching discrimination is simple to define. Unfair, unjust, underserved
treatment upon one is my views of discrimination. Discrimination is done intentionally. One cannot
state unfair treatment upon an induvial was mistaken.
Discrimination is highly found in the workplace. Workplace discrimination is instituted mainly by
employers; however, it transpires among employees. A few examples of workplace discrimination
is not being promoted, hired, friended, praised, heard, or given earned salaries. Leading causes of
the above examples contributes to race, ethnicity, religion, age, weight and gender.
Why should anyone be discriminated in the workplace? Working people in today s society should
know discrimination is immoral! Sadly, many working people are not righteous; therefore,
discrimination is still an ongoing problem. Discrimination prevention program training has been
developed; basically teaching working adults how to be fair.

Why Did The Soviet Union Fail
At the beginning of the Atomic Age, the Soviet Union was perhaps one of the greatest superpowers
in the world. By 1991, it had completely collapsed, splitting into 15 independent states, each with
their own unique national and cultural identities. There were a multitude of factors that led to the
Soviet Union s downfall. Economic stagnation, anti communist sentiment, and nationalist
movements finally brought the collapse of communism in the Soviet Union.
When Mikhail Gorbachev became Secretary of the Communist Party, he had to deal with an ailing
and frail Soviet Union. The country had entered a state of serious economic decline and the Soviet
people, discontent with their political party, looked to Gorbachev to solve their problems. Spurred
by patriotic duty, Gorbachev introduced democratic reforms known as perestroika and glasnost.
These sought to free businesses and Soviet peoples from harsh government regulation and
censorship, respectively. While Gorbachev believed these policies would strengthen the Soviet
government, this was not the case. Perestroika did not do anything to ... Show more content on

Protecting Ideas with Copyright
Every process born on an idea. Here is when most organizations have their origins.
Like every production process, music production is protected from the idea to distribution and
sharing. Let s start from songwriting and composition . В№According to the law, the lyrics that are
written by a songwriter are considered literary works and protected by copyright. Copyright is the
right owned by the creative artist to utilize or let use his composition by whoever needs with the
proper established agreements.
Written lyrics represents 1/3 of copyrights ownership as well as musical composition and
arrangement. We could see the backing chord and its progression used in the song as its
arrangement and the melody line as its composition. Only if the artist creates every part of the
song he is intitled to own 100% of song rights. Them are split into three parts if songwriter,
composer and arranger are different persons; Can be even split into several parts if other
organizations are involved. But who and what protects copyright?
It was initially limited to literary works and gradually moved to music and other art works.
However, it was the very first British Statue that set copyright in the UK, according to which
whoever intended to copy, print or share an art work made by someone else, had to obtain author s
consense ; but only in the following North

Research Paper On Static Code Analysis
Abstract:
Security and performance are crucial aspects of software quality measurement. Static code
analysis is one of the techniques used for quality assurance of a software. Here we propose a
system which can be used on the salesforce platform for static code analysis of the apex code.
The three components of the tool will step by step evaluate the code and produce final results
which can be used to determine the code quality. This paper goes through various methods that can
be used to develop a static code analysis.
1. Introduction

3. Survey of proposed system
By scrutinizing an application s source code without having to actually execute it, it is possible to
find errors prior to production early in the development cycle. static code analysis tool can help
with the code review process by 1. detecting areas in the code that need to be refactored and
simplified, 2. finding areas of the code which may need deeper review or more testing, 3. identify
design issues and help reduce the code complexity so as to improve maintainability, 4. identify
potential software quality issues before the code moves to production.
The proposed system can be used to scan the apex code and it will report vulnerabilities present in
the software. The proposed system is helpful for the developer to scan their code and improve the
code quality.
4. System Architecture

2003. Hungary. I remember my way on a road to an abandoned airport in the middle of the

music in the background just hit our ears. As we approached to the scene the music got louder
with our excitement as well and we finally got there. Hundreds of our friends were already

The basics of survival and the defining bricks on the pyramid of survival are food, water, and
security (or shelter). Anything outside of these are not necessities but simply strong desires. The
stability of the pyramid is threatened when any of the bricks crack. In the poem Storm Warnings

Delano Roosevelt, 1936 The Unites States of America was the last of the world s great nations
to fight in the Second World War. In the 1930 s, America did not use great economic, and
political influence which she possessed to slow the aggressive expansionist ambitions of
Germany, Japan and Italy (the Axis Alliance). Instead she chose to remain in isolation and
withdrew from world affairs, which had a profound effect in the background to the war in 1939 .
This essay will discuss the period between 1936 1941 and the reasons, which led America
entering the Second World War in that period. In the next two paragraphs a brief reference is
made to America s expansionist past and the Spanish American War which would provide
background information about the topic of the essay in later paragraphs. Several factors account
for America s desire to adopt an expansionist foreign policy in the 1890 s. The rapid expansion of
the U.S. economy after the civil war and completion of industrialization of the country which had
been briefly hindered by civil war, allowed American industries to flood the domestic market with
consumer goods. Mechanization and mass production combined with improvements in transport

finally prompted both conservatives and liberals to consider reforms in both political and social
domains as well reforms in the education system. China was in a precarious political situation
where elements of both Confucianism and Western institutions were coexisting side by side.
Between June 11 and September 21 1898, The Gunagxu Emperor launched a series of forty edicts
that earned the period the name The Hundred Days Reforms. The Guagnxu Emperor was highly
influenced from the ideas of the Neo Confucian writer Kang Youwei. Though Kang Youwei s first
efforts to met with the Emperor failed, he finally was allowed permission to speak with the
Emperor in May 1898. In Kang Youwei s May 1898 Memorial to the Emperor he expressed his
concern for the Qing Court and proposed a radical realignment in government that advocated
constitutionally radical reform and a transformation of the traditional education system into a
modern one. Kang Youwei s Comprehensive Consideration of The Whole Situation memorial to the
Emperor knew the fate of China would meet a disastrous end if they did not consider immediate
change: Our present trouble lies in our clinging to old institutions without knowing how to change...
Nowadays the court has been undertaking some reforms, but the ministers obstruct

A quick glance of the retail industry:
Indian Retail Industry: The India Retail Industry is the largest among all the industries, accounting
for over 10 per cent of the country s GDP and around 8 per cent of the employment. The Retail
Industry in India has come forth as one of the most dynamic and fast paced industries with several
players entering the market. But all of them have not yet tasted success because of the heavy initial

Essay Mt. Rainier
Mt. Rainier
The first time I saw Mt. Rainier for myself, was last summer when my boyfriend and I drove to
Washington. It was the most beautiful, peaceful looking mountain I have ever seen. However,
underneath it s great beauty, it hides a deadly secret. Mt. Rainier is one of the most dangerous
volcanoes that we have here in the United States. One of the reasons it is so dangerous is because
of it s great beauty. People enjoy looking at it, and the area that surrounds it, so they have made
their homes here. Mt Rainier is not the only volcano I am interested in, in fact this last summer I
also went to Mt. St. Helens and Crater Lake. But it is the volcano I chose to research for this paper
because it does have so much beauty and at the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So, I set out to find out what information there was about volcanoes, and if there was anyone out
there who wanted to discuss them with me.
To begin my search I went to my favorite search engine, Yahoo.com. I have always found that
this engine is the easiest to use, and gives you the best information. At first, I researched all
volcanoes, not just Mt. Rainier. There was so much information out there that I found it
difficult to narrow it down to just 10 for my annotated bibliography. I was able to spend hours on
the computer exploring the various sites and finding out new information. From most of the
sites I went to I was able to link to other sites that had to do with the same subject. I found this to
be very useful in doing my research. Not only did I find information about volcanoes and how
they work, I found places where I could buy volcano merchandise, watch real time videos of
eruptions, and look at volcano cams from around the world. I learned so much about all kinds of
volcanoes from my research, but when it came down to answering the questions that I had asked,
there were two web sites that I found were the most useful, The US Geological Societies Cascades
Volcano Observatory, and Volcanoes Online. These two I found to be the most useful in my
research.
Mount Rainier is located in Washington, and it basically dominates the landscape of a large part of
western Washington. The mountain is 4,329 meters, and it is what

Decision Making Process At Southwest Airlines
Part E: Cost, Profit, and Investment Center
Decision making
The decision making process at Southwest Airlines is decentralized whereby the decision making
authority is delegated to lower level managers and employees. This is based on the idea that
managers at the lower level have a better understanding of local factors and conditions hence are
better positioned to make decisions than the senior management. The airline understands the need
for empowering employees and the impact this empowerment has on the company. For instance,
when the airline wanted to refurbish its employee s uniform, instead of hiring someone outside the
company, the airline invited all employees who had suggestions about the new uniform to apply.
The employees who were selected for this process met every two weeks to discuss the design of the
new uniforms (Thomas, 2016).
For Southwest Airlines, incorporating employee input in the decision making process creates a
more authentic brand. For instance, the involvement of employees in the uniform design made the
employees take pride in being part of the airline. The decentralized decision making approach
makes it possible for Southwest Airlines to bring employees from different departments and various
cities to interact with each other and build a cohesive workplace. In addition, employee
involvement in the decision making process at the company makes employees to feel more
motivated and loyal to the company.
Performance evaluation

  • 2. Industrial Organizational Psychology And Social Psychology Introduction Prior to jumping right into millennial workers and the fields of recruiting and selection in industries and organizations and understanding how this relates to Industrial Organizational Psychology, one may find it helpful to understand what Industrial Organizational Psychology is and what it has to do with the working world. Landy and Conte (2016) defines Industrial Organizational Psychology as the scientific study of the workplace or the application of psychological principles, theory, and research to the work setting. So, in this document we will explore the fields of recruiting and selection in industries and organizations and examine this in conjunction with the needs and demands of the millennial workers coming into the workforce. We will also look at any adaptions that may needed in the recruitment and selection process when working with this new generation of workers and explain why these changes may be needed. • 3. Tax Payer Laws And Criminal Laws There are a lot of disorders that arose in the country we live in today and it s all because of our corrupt system. These laws are tax payer laws and criminal laws in general. In the United States of America, some citizens can argue that our government is fair enough when it comes to the rate of our taxes and how the government utilizes the money that we re basically required to pay to them. On the other hand, however, some individuals can argue that the government spends their tax dollars on things that our nation doesn t really needs. Being citizens of this country, we sometimes don t get an input on what the government decides to spend the money on. One controversial topic that has been in and out of the news for the past few years is the issue of whether or not our tax dollars should be paying for lawbreakers we have behind bars. Some say that there are better methods for paying or there could also be less expensive punishments to get the same job done for less. Today, whether it is federal or state jails in the United States, all jails are paid for using American tax dollars. Some citizens are in disbelief that our country allows this and some are furious to the fact that we basically are required to pay for the free meals and housing for convicted felon that has previously broken the law. Paying for taxes can sometimes be a tad bit stressful, the date April 15, for example. A lot of normal Americans who complete their own taxes have that date steam pressed into the ... The day I went to the store I remember walking up to the fish tank and picking out which fish I wanted. I decided to pick the smallest one because I wanted to see how much he could grow. I told my dad, I want the smallest one! The pet store owner caught the smallest one and put him into a plastic bag. Me and my brother Dillon were very excited because it was our very fish. We took him home and put him in the new fish tank that we bought. Dillon and I were in such awe of the fish that we sat for hours just staring at the fish swim around. My dad told us, Although that fish may be small now it will grow to be big someday! From that day forward we watched Bubbles as he grew and grew becoming bigger each day we fed him. What is enrollment management and what part does the Director of Admissions play within it? Enrollment management is an institutional tool designed to deal with how students choose a college, how they make the transition to higher education, what leads them to stay or drop out, and what influences how well they do while enrolled (Hossler, 2004). According to Baker, in her article, Introducing Enrollment management, the division of enrollment management encompasses four areas: Admissions: taking students from recruitment to enrolled through collaboration with financial aid, registration, orientation, curriculum, and student life. Retention: keeping enrolled or re enrolling students Research: Collecting and analyzing trends that affect enrollment Marketing: Promoting the institution The Director of Admissions embodies the admissions or recruitment aspect of the division. • 13. Why Voting Is Important For Public Policy Voting is very essential and one of the easiest methods to influence public policy. You just need to be registered, and go to a polling station. It is simple because the government encourages people to vote, to hear a broad range of opinions. It is a form of direct democracy because when you vote, it directly affects the side or issue you support. Your vote is one more supporting opinion for a candidate or issue that is counted. Some people may think that their vote won t make a big difference, but if you look at it from another perspective it can impact smaller and local issues. Although voting is imperative because you are given this privilege at the age of 18, it is not the end of one s ability to influence government, but rather the beginning. Public policyis a system of laws that the government created for the citizens in order to maintain order. Public policy should be fair for all the citizens, however, on many occasions it is hard to accommodate for all races and social classes such as lower, middle, and upper class. An example of an effective method to utilize that influences public policy is civil disobedience. Many working class families were crowded into small apartments with dirt floors, no indoor plumbing, and their general lot in life was quite miserable. I remember our book talking about the filth from chamber pots, the mold and mildew that grew rampantly inside these dwellings, and the lack of sanitation. Their diet was also a sad tale. While the middle class could afford beef and sugar, the working class was forced to subsist mainly on bread. This lack of protein and necessary vitamins and minerals would have put them at a much higher risk for disease and malnutrition. Compared to current practice of racial profiling used by investigators following a crime, DNA phenotyping would eliminate this practice by providing and more detailed profile of who it is they should be searching for. What Is A Political Allegory In Lord Of The Flies World War II caused an amount of destruction and harm that no human being had ever seen before, many were disgusted and outraged by the results of this war. It was a very memorable event; one that authors tend to write about a lot, even to this day. One author in particular, WIlliam Golding, uses his world famous piece of literature Lord of the Flies as a political allegory to World War 2. In his classic novel, he shows little boys who are flown out to avoid the danger of being bombed and become trapped on an island. While they are trapped, the boys develop separate ways of leading each other which leads to conflict and violence, similar to the governments in which were clashing with each other during World War 2 at the time. Through the differences of these boys, Golding shows to us how they relate to the major leaders of World War 2 (Hitler, Franklin Roosevelt, and Neville Chamberlain), and how democracy is the best way to govern people. America Vote Act ( Hava ) I was surprised to discover that voter identification began in 1950 when South Carolina became the first state to request some form of identification from voters at the polling precincts. Then Hawaii followed in 1970, Texas in 1971, Florida in 1977, and Alaska in 1980. Some of them asked for an ID with a photo, while others asked for any type of document with or without a photo; all provided other means for people to vote if they couldn t present identification. By 2000, fourteen states were asking for voter identification documents ( Voter ID ). That year, we had a highly disputed presidential election. Following its outcome, the United StatesCongress passed the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) in 2002, which ushered in comprehensive election reform. Under the law, states are required to follow mandatory minimum standards that included implementing new programs and procedures such as provisional voting; voting information and voter education; upgraded, tested and certified voting technology; statewide voter registration list; voter identification procedures; and an improved election administration system ( Help America Vote Act ). The Commission on Federal Election Reform advocated similar propositions in their 2005 report (69 70). Consequently, voter ID laws were enacted around the country. In the next two paragraphs a brief reference is made to America s expansionist past and the Spanish American War which would provide background information about the topic of the essay in later paragraphs. Several factors account for America s desire to adopt an expansionist foreign policy in the 1890 s. The defeat in the Sino Japanese War finally prompted both conservatives and liberals to consider reforms in both political and social domains as well reforms in the education system. China was in a precarious political situation where elements of both Confucianism and Western institutions were coexisting side by side. • 47. Decision Making Process At Southwest Airlines Part E: Cost, Profit, and Investment Center Decision making The decision making process at Southwest Airlines is decentralized whereby the decision making authority is delegated to lower level managers and employees. This is based on the idea that managers at the lower level have a better understanding of local factors and conditions hence are better positioned to make decisions than the senior management. The airline understands the need for empowering employees and the impact this empowerment has on the company. For instance, when the airline wanted to refurbish its employee s uniform, instead of hiring someone outside the company, the airline invited all employees who had suggestions about the new uniform to apply. The employees who were selected for this process met every two weeks to discuss the design of the new uniforms (Thomas, 2016). For Southwest Airlines, incorporating employee input in the decision making process creates a more authentic brand. For instance, the involvement of employees in the uniform design made the employees take pride in being part of the airline.
