Throughout the film 12 Angry Men, Juror #8 argues eleven men to prove the
innocence of the young man who is on trial for the murder of his father. In the
beginning of the film, the vote is guilty, eleven and not guilty, one. But as time goes
on, Juror #8 has strong evidence to prove his point that the young man is not guilty.
He takes into consideration that the decision these men makes is life or death, if they
agree that he is guilty then he will be sent to the electric chair. After several hours of
arguments and review of evidence, they unanimously chose not guilty. The filmends
with Juror #8 and Juror #9 introducing themselves and then going their separate ways,
never finding out if the young man was prosecuted as guilty or not guilty. This
cliffhanger leaves the audience to decide for themselves, guilty or not guilty? Even
though Juror #9 had strong evidence and influenced the whole jury, I believe the
young man is guilty. There is more evidence proving that he is guilty, than he is
not guilty. The first piece of evidence that helps prove that the young man is guilty
is the testify of the old man who lived downstairs. He heard the young man scream
at the top of his lungs, I m going to kill you! , a body hitting the floor, and then saw
the man running downstairs out of the house. Juror #8 argues that he could not
have possibly heard a scream with the L train making a loud noise. Living in San
Francisco, I have been near BART and Muni my whole life, and both of those
public transportation systems make loud noises when passing by, but not loud
enough that I cannot not hear someone above me screaming at the top of their
lungs, especially a threat like that. Also if the old man could not hear what was
going on because of the train, then why did he get out of his bed and go to the door

Objectives. The goal of the present review was to assess the state of performance
prediction in health care programs generally, versus performance in pharmacy
schools, using didactic and non didactic admissions measures. This is important
because clinical success represents a combination of skills that are not fully predicted
by either type of measure alone.
Methods. PubMed searches were conducted focusing on work published from 2000
onwards, since it is during this period that non didactic admissions measures have
come to be incorporated into the applicant evaluation process. Relevant papers that
were available as free full text were used. When these papers were not available by
direct import into EndNote, we went directly to the journal to try to retrieve the paper.
Results. Published literature clearly showed that prediction of performance in the
didactic portions of health care programs is straightforward when based on pre health
care GPA and achievement testscores. The best predictions are achieved when both
measures are combined. While significant statistical prediction is achieved in
virtually every study, the percent of total performance variance accounted for is also

communication because of it. The book is comprised of a murder mystery novel
Christopher sought to write after discovering the bloody murder of his neighbor s
dog, Wellington. Gradually, the story focuses away from the main conflict and
morphs into a complicated story about Christopher s life. With that, Haddon brings
out the complexity and hardships of human life, specifically through the topic of truth
