This document discusses the homoeopathic approach to treating ectopic pregnancy cases in three phases:
1) Preventive approach by treating underlying causes like pelvic inflammatory disease with homoeopathic medicines.
2) Referring surgical cases immediately in phase 2 when ectopic pregnancy is discovered.
3) Considering the miasmatic background in phase 3, as psoric patients may have many symptoms while syphilitic patients can be asymptomatic yet develop life-threatening conditions. Constitutional homoeopathic treatment is needed to address recurrent ectopic pregnancies by rectifying default susceptibility. A thorough case history is important.
2. Appearance of ectopic pregnancy
cases

3. Homoeopathic Approach
Here we should give emphasis over Etiology
and most imp. Cause is PID. It can be
corrected by Homoeopathic medicines &
explained by §4.
In Phase1 case(Preventiveapproach)–
4. 1- ‘Preserver of Health’
2- Things derange health & cause disease
3- How to remove them from persons in health
i.e. the proper way of recovery
5. Homoeopath’s Approach
• In Phase2 case(referringapproach)–
As EP (rupture or unrupture) is a true
surgical disease so we should refer
the case to the surgeon as early as possible.
6. §67 F/N- As healthy vital force is
obstructed here.
§7 F/N-Every intelligent physician would
first remove this (maintaining cause)
where it exists.
§186-The treatment of this local malady
is relegated to surgery where mechanical
aid is required to remove it.
7. Homoeopathic Approach
• In Phase3 cases (miasmatic approach)–
Nature of presentation of symptoms i.e. not only mild
,moderate or severe presentation but also miasmatic
point of view. For example-
1) Some pts with PID represent lots of symptoms &
then produce unruptured EP.
2) Some other pts with PID almost asymptomatic
but ruptured EP occurs.
8. Homoeopathy perceives that there
is some things prior to these
results(ectopic pregnancies)
&
Man is prior to the organs.
10. In 1st case- pt. is suffering from many symptoms
& appearance of unruptured ectopic which is less
dangerous and not silent life threatening
condition.
Miasmatic Background
May be Psora miasm in the
Background
11. Miasmatic Background
In 2nd case- pt. is almost asymptomatic or
with very few trivial symptoms & ultimately
appearance of ruptured ectopic which is as
silent life threatening condition.
May be Syphilitic miasm in the
Background
12. The Syphilitic patient actually suffers
much less than the Psoric .
It is the syphilitic patients who may
have perhaps no symptoms at all, but
they die suddenly and without warning.
13. Recurrent appearance of Ectopic
pregnancy
Here requires the proper chronic
constitutional treatment for which
Homoeopathy is unique and by this default
susceptibility can be rectified.
14. • Great importance of taking History of
past illness and Family History which can
not be ignored in case taking.
