Theory of suppression (‘Homoeopathy’ or ‘Homoeopaths’ also can suppress)
All homoeopaths, practicing in any and every method claim to get result. What is a Homoeopathic result?
A homoeopath should strengthen the patient and weaken the disease. Eg: a patient of asthma under homoeopathic treatment got a remission of attack for a period of one year followed by a more violent attack and had to be hospitalized. Here the disease was strengthened and patient was weakened.
What do we mean by weakening the patient? Weakening of a patient as a whole mathematically points out to ‘generals’ and ‘mentals’ deteriorating.
If his chief complaints are better, it should be preceded by the following: Stamina and desire to work should improve Desire for food has to improve Sleep quality should improve All eliminations like stool, urine and sweat should be alright
Improvement of the chief complaint should not be followed by the following: (for example:) Dullness in studies Waning of interest in studies Sleepiness during working time Going down performance in mathematics Deterioration of eye sight Loss of appetite, weight… Disturbed sleep, dark rings around eyes… Dangerous dreams… Loss of hair…etc…
Our science of Homeopathy is a Holistic or Wholistic science We treat the man in disease and not the disease in man.
Many of our claims of cures may not be real cures at all… … may be dangerous suppressions.
The reasons are: Many homoeopaths do not know that Homoeopathy also can suppress Very few tend to follow ‘Hering’s law of cure’ Hering’s law is visible only after the right constitutional similimum It can be reached only by applying the cardinal principles of Homoeopathy very rigidly Many do not have definite guidelines as to which is more important organ and which is less important and what is meant by inside outside direction etc…
Lack of guidelines or misunderstanding of cardinal rules of Homoeopathy and no standardization of practice due to lack of scientific correlation were and are the chief cause of failures in practice
Early cases of Dr. Prafull Vijayakar 1. Chronic migrainous headache….given Iris vers 1000 repeated 3 times a day for 3 months…followed by tremors in hands finally a full fledged case of Parkinson's disease 2. widespread baldness … given Vinca minor 200 repeatedly for six months… bald area replaced by white hair…later developed a malignant tumor in the breast.
Early cases of Dr. Prafull Vijayakar R/A of tonsillitis treated with specifics and mixtures followed by dullness in studies, poor performance in exams, putting on weight etc… with disappearance of cough and cold… Chronic bronchitis and asthmas ‘treated’ …gradually change in their ‘looks’ and ‘appearance’ and ‘behaviour’ … moon face…tired…lethargy…
Why these? Partially similar remedies continually given suppressed the psoric disease manifestations to sycotic disease conditions In order to reverse these conditions, transient psoric conditions should come back affecting the organs in the reverse order of importance ending in transient psoric skin eruptions…
Tremendous confidence in this process has to be with the practitioner to abstain from further prescriptions at each stage…
He has to be convinced that it is the vital force that is curing the disease and not our Homoeopathic Medicine Our Homoeopathic Single Dose only stimulates the immune reaction that proceeds towards cure.
Some of the consequences of wrong medications ending in suppressions: Tonsillitis  dullness of memory, poor intelligence Asthma and bronchitis  joint pains / arthritis Asthma  HTN/ IHD Lumbago/sciatica  HTN/ IHD Lumbago  cervical spondylosis Cervical spondylosis  giddiness/ vertigo
Some of the consequences of wrong medications ending in suppressions: Hyperacidity  pain/ affliction of some cartilage in knee, back , nasal cartilage, or thickening of vocal cords Eye drops or ear drops  pain in wrist, shoulder or any other joint Etc. etc….list is endless
Symptoms disappear only to reappear in a different system, tissue or organ If the reappearance is in a progressively lesser important organ or system, it is proceeding towards cure. If progressing towards more important system or organ, it is suppression
If a medicine is similimum to the disease and not similimum to the constitution, disease will be removed but it will not strengthen the constitution. This is suppression.
7 cardinal principles 1. Law of simplex 2. Law of single 3. Law of Similimum 4. Law of Minimum 5. Law of Drug Dynamisation 6. Law of Drug Proving 7. Law of Vital Force & Hering’sLaw of Cure
Direction of cure Diseases do not appear from out of the blue nor do they disappear into thin air. Everything in this world including diseases have a precursor and a follower.
Transfer of diseases To an organ of more importance (Suppression) To an organ of less importance (Cure)
Which is more important organ and which is less important organ…? Lack of knowledge makes the Homoeopath to take wrong conclusions…
Many good follow- ups after a prescription, which proceed towards cure are nipped in the bud, due to inadequate knowledge of direction of cure.
Dr. Constantine Hering first showed us light … His direction guiding ‘law of cure’ is the second greatest discovery in Homoeopathy after that of Hahnemann…
Hering’s law of direction of cure Cure takes place with symptoms disappearing from : Above downwards Inside outwards Centre to periphery More important to less important organs or system In the reverse order of appearance of symptoms
Confusing Examples: 1. Asthma better…catarrh in chest reduced… followed by dry cough, sneezing,… = It is inside out. Right direction. Not down upwards. Not wrong direction. 2. Hyperacidity and burning in stomach disappearing…tingling numbness hand appearing… = it is from lesser important organ to more important nervous system. Wrong direction. Not inside out … Not centre to periphery… 3. Cough and R/A of bronchitis disappearing only to give rise to leucoderma on skin… =bad direction…not exteriorization…
Resulting in :  confusion  non abidance of the ‘Law of Cure’  lose confidence in practice  put forth their own theories of cure to suit their convenience…do not stand the test of time and science…  not taking up risks in emergency cases like IHD, TB etc.  Rank of Homoeopathy an auxiliary science…used when there is no immediate risk…along with allopathy…  we ourselves belittle the scope of Homoeopathy due to ignorance.
Confusion is due to Ignorance or lack of knowledge of ‘Human sciences’ like proper anatomy, physiology, embryology, immunology, neuro-endocrinology, human biochemistry, genetics etc.
Chart of suppression: ‘Order in Disorder’ All that is happening in the human body whether cure or disease are mathematical in progression or regression.
Importance of human sciences We treat man in disease and not disease in man. To know the ‘MAN’ as a whole, we should know the internal mechanisms in man. What he is made up of How the systems function How he falls ill What to correct How to correct…cure…
Importance of physiology Cells  tissues  organs  systems  help man to live or survive Food elements and ions are supplied all over the body to build and maintain tissues This supply is by various means like cytoplasmic streaming, osmotic gradient, concentration gradient, electrical potential gradient etc.
Importance of physiology Four different paths of supply of food called nutritive gradients or animal growth axes… all passive…require no energy… 1) from above downwards…2) from more important organ to less important organ…3) from centre to periphery…4) from inside out…
Importance of Embryology Foetus grows in a particular manner and direction…animal growth axis…life giving nutritive gradient…along which flow the elements necessary for growth and maintenance. Toxins and toxic proteins… not having passive gradient…are transported using active transport using up energy…destructive…opp. to nutritive gradient… Disease axis
Importance of Embryology Disease axis  deterioration of life  death Cure axis  appreciation of living values and healthy life but not immortality Cure axis  nutritive gradients, when strong can wash down the toxins from the tissues= even deeper tissues or parenchymas of organs= gradients of elimination
Importance of Embryology Homoeopathic remedies act on the body enhancing nutritive gradients and adjusting the electrical potentials as high in the important organs and low in less important organs like skin Any ointments, inhalants, anesthetic products etc do the reverse process thus interfering with the action of our remedies
Importance of Embryology Once we understand ‘which’ organ is derived from ‘what’ embryological tissue, we shall clearly understand which organ is more important and which is less important. So the chart of suppression is a compass to gauge the directions of Hering’s law of cure.
Chart of seven layers of suppression and progression of disease
Embryological basis of seven layers of suppression Seven layers of suppression based on embryological origin From skin to NS , from down upwards, according to their importance Why one is more important than the other?
Embryological basis of seven layers of suppression Human egg, before it differentiates into various organs and systems, gives rise to 3 main germinal layers: Ectoderm Endoderm Mesoderm Fourth is a specialized ectoderm called Neuro-ectoderm or Neuroderm.
Viscera or the parenchyma of the viscera: lungs, heart, kidneys etc. organs developed from mesothelium of mesoderm – fourth layer. Mesoderm Forms the resp. tract lining, GI tract lining and Urinary tract lining. In connection or exposed to the external environment but internally. Inner tube of a double tube man. Second last in importance. So the second layer. Endoderm Gives rise to all the organs which are in connection with or exposed to the external environments. Outer surface of a tube shaped man. Of least importance. So first layer. Ectoderm
Connective tissue The connection between the Endoderm derivatives and the Mesoderm derivatives is established by tissues arising out of the mesenchyme of the Mesoderm. These tissues are called Connective tissues. Connective tissues include blood, lymph, bones, cartilages, muscles, dermis, fascias and covering of organs This forms the layer between endoderm and the visceral mesoderm- third layer.
Neuro endocrine glands Externally (the body) derived from ectoderm, endoderm or even mesoderm The functional part (secretary cells) is either neural crest in origin or neuro ectodermal origin. Some of these cells are found scattered in various tissues of the body like lungs, intestine etc. secreting neuro transmitters.
Neuro endocrine glands All the cells which perform the function of secreting the neuro transmitters or hormones whether in endocrine glands or elsewhere, are grouped together in A.P.U.D. (Amine Precursor Uptake Decarboxylate) system layer This is the Fifth layer.
Nervous system Sixth layer N.S.(Central or Periferal or Brain ) are developed from neuro ectoderm which is a specialized ectoderm Ectoderm is least important when it forms the skin and most important when it forms the brain and the neural tissue. Endoderm and the mesoderm give rise to the organs which are in between.
Genetic code Seventh layer. Affection of the basic cell code. Every cell has genetic code which has two parts: Basic cell code= common to all living cells – plant, animal or man Inherited code= inherited from parents and species.- nature, structure, tolerance, susceptibility etc. differs from individual to individual and from species to species.
Explanation of 7 layers of suppression Disease at tissues and organs of impaired immunity Toxins are produced at those areas. Normally they are eliminated through natures methods= cough, vomiting, purging etc. If the impairment is too strong, toxins are transported to higher and higher levels/ layers by active trans-cell transport , against the gradient , using the ATP in mitochondria of every cell.
Explanation of 7 layers of suppression Every time, the disease is suppressed, the toxins are pushed upwards. Stored energy for daily natural activities of the cell is used up  weakness Any treatment accompanied by weakness is leading to suppression. Any treatment accompanied by a feeling of well being / reduced weakness by pushing the toxins downwards/ enhancing already existing nutritive gradients/ eliminations …=CURE.
Explanation of 7 layers of suppression Partially similar drug shall remove symptoms but produce weakness Right constitutional similimum removes disease, removes weakness, eliminates toxins, increases the electrical potential of the vital organs, gives desire and stamina to work- the most important parameter of right homoeopathic treatment
Elaboration of the chart of 7 layers of suppression This chart is the compass to distinguish a right similimum from a wrong similimum Best means to ascertain whether a Homoeopath’s prescription is curative or suppressive.

1 st stage of Disease Suppression Impaired immunity at the ectodermal level  disease is in first stage. Outermost and least important organ/s Fighting powers against organisms goes down They attack the cells and tissues. They produce toxins and toxic products Inflammation follows

6 th stage diseases in different Miasmatic Constitutions: Disseminated sclerosis, parkinsons disease… syphilis Tumours, neurofibromatosis sycosis Periferal neuritis, neuritis, diabetic neuropathy psora
7 th stage of disease supression The MIND. Not the emotions of love, hate , fear, fright, anxiety, anger etc…
Mind is encoded in GENES = the Genetic Code, Same in all cells Imparts character to the individual as a whole Composed of two parts. Acquired code Basic code.
Acquired code Inherited from parents Specific to species Also represents characteristic acquired as a reaction to the environmental effects
Basic code It has characteristics which every cell (whether human, plant or animal) has to possess It represents code for functions which every cell has to perform like homoeostasis , defense and propagation .
Homoeostasis means: functions for the cell and individual to survive respiration, ingestion, digestion, excretion etc. controlled and governed by normal working and normal secretions of physio- neuro endocrinal mechanism or control system.
Disturbance of Homoeostasis Leads to tendency to disturbances in the functioning of organs and systems It is called Psoric trait Disturbance at organ level produces functional impairment of organs Disturbance at limbic or neuro-endocrinal level produces excess or reduces neuro transmitters and hormones like adrenalin, epinephrine etc to produce intense emotions typical to Psoric trait .
Defense means Protecting the cell and the individual from external harmful agents This also contributes to homeostasis
Impairment of defense Leads to injury to the organs and tissues Simulates the Syphilitic Trait Destructive tendency along with its effect on the organism, implies Syphilitic Miasm It is a flaw in the defense function of a cell.
Propagation means Mitosis = every cell has a code to multiply only into 2 daughter cells
Disturbance of Propagation Multiple reproduction of more than 2, 4, 8, 10 cells takes place resulting in overgrowth This tendency with its resulting effect on the organism , is called as Sycotic trait or Sycosis
7 th stage diseases Irreparable injury= gangrene, Parkinson's, motor neuron disease, disseminated sclerosis, complete destruction of islets of langerhans (permanent diabetes), Alzheimer’s disease etc. Syphilitic trait Defense Cancers, fibroids, atherosclerosis and its complications Sycotic Trait Propagation Disturbance in the functioning of limbic system- scizophrenias, obsessive psycosis, insanity, mania etc Psoric trait Homoeostasis
N.B . Disease in the lower 3 layers can easily be removed by any Homoeopath by any method He can show impressive results in: I stage=eczema, boils, ring worm II stage=rhinitis, bronchitis, diarrhoea,UTI III stage= sciatica, joint pains, alopecia
N.B. Disease symptoms of IV and V stage can be sporadically or accidentally removed by wrong practitioners.
N.B. Partial similimum prescribers (mind or physic axis but not the totality) can ameliorate the disease symptoms in the IV and V stage. (E.G. hypertension, ischaemias, diabetes, thyroid. Suppresses disease to a higher stage High and higher potency to ‘cow’ down the symptoms with gradually decreasing intervals of repetition This indicates suppression
N.B. Disease symptoms of IV, V, VI stages cannot be ameliorated by wrong or specific prescribers Diabetes, pituitary tumors, hypertensions, tuberculosis, atherosclerotic conditions, multiple sclerosis, cancers , AIDS, cannot be treated confidently by wrong prescribers.
N.B. Lower stage disease symptoms are a result of dynamic disturbance in biochemical reactions, which can be altered easily either ways Higher stage disease symptoms are brought about by a deviation of the ‘genetic code’
N.B. In higher stage diseases, say a gene is derepressed, which synthesizes a protein which alters the lipid metaboism to create hypercholesterolemia, or derepresses a gene which synthesizes protein to alter blood biochemistry to create atherosclerosis in cardiac or cerebral vessels. Such tendencies cannot be eradicated without affecting a change in the genetic level.
N.B. Such changes at the genetic levels can be done by Homoeopaths who are not ‘extremists’ = those who do not prescribe ‘only for body’ or ‘only for mind’ They have to be wholistic and prescribe for totality to get a cure as per ‘Law of cure’. Cancers schizophrenia etc can never be cured or ameliorated by ‘extremists’.
N.B. Disease progression can be in one, two or three currents in an individual E.g. backache  diabetes  parkinsonism= 3 rd layer  5 th layer  7 th layer (Syphilitic current destroying the islets of langerhans and the nerve cells permanently) E.g. backache  acute ischaemic heart disease with massive atherosclerosis  cerebral ischemia= 3 rd  4 th layer (Sycotic current) Medicine should be predominantly syco-syphilitic) like Aur. Met, Phos etc..
N.B. Chicken pox, small pox, measles, herpes have the direction of expression on the body exactly opposite to that of other ectodermal disease. Ie. In the direction of cure axis Exteriorization of toxins Enanthema followed by exanthema No medicine is the best treatment but if any untoward direction is followed, intervene with right similimum
Compensatory Cure 7 th layer is virtually a point of ‘no return’ But a sort of cure can take place even at this level ‘ Cure’ here implies ‘restoration’ of near to normal functions, with sensation of ‘well being’ leading to peaceful, prolonged existence in spite of and despite of the pathology. Achieved by prescribing on totality. We do not see the applicability of Hering’s law of cure.
Second prescription analysis Understanding the follow ups properly is a key to success
Exercise Q & A Good or bad?
Pain in abdomen with acidity disappear and tingling numbness in hands start Endoderm to NS = bad
Pain in abdomen disappears ankle joint pain starts Endoderm to connective tissue= bad

Diarrhoea stops and abscess start appearing on skin with fever No pus or infections inviting septic conditions is welcome even if it is on epidermis (ectoderm) Immunity of the person not geared up=bad.
Asthma stops dry cough starts Direction is inside out= good
Asthma stops dry sneezing starts =good
Asthmatic sneezing stops but breathlessness on exertion persists Suppressed to cardiac plane= bad
Asthmatic complaints stops blood pressure increases =bad
Asthmatic complaints stops cervical spondylosis starts increases =bad
Asthmatic complaints stops giddiness occurs Layer affected is 6 th =bad
Lumbago/ sacral pain/ sciatica better ; pain in chest radiating to left arm occurs 3 rd to 4 th layer=bad
Lumbago/ sacral pain/ sciatica better ; blood pressure increases 3 rd to 4 th =bad
Lumbago/ sacral pain/ sciatica better blood sugar increases 3 rd to 5 th = bad
Lumbago/ sacral pain/ sciatica better ; pain in neck starts Ascended upwards=bad

Lumbago/ sacral pain/ sciatica better ; headache with dizziness occurs =bad
Lumbago/ sacral pain/ sciatica better ; urticarea occurs occurs Urticarea is due to secretion of histamine from ‘mast cells’ (angioblastic origin) 3 rd to 4 th = bad
Mental symptoms better but physically weak Physical weakness is not physical particular = toxins transported to higher up by active gradient= use of ATP= suppression
Why do suppression occur? Suppressions are not a monopoly of physical prescribers or PQRS prescribers or formula prescribers only even mentals prescribers also can suppress Homoeopathy is a wholistic/ holistic science Mind cannot exist without body and body cannot exist without mind
Appreciate ‘Hering’s law of Cure in each and every case, be it acute or chronic
Physical+mental toltality A) basic nature or ‘mind’ of a person as is represented in each and every cell by his genetic code. This include even his non diseased nature like religiousness, conscientiousness, temper, slowness, quickness, mildness, bashfulness, contentment, courage, cowardice, yielding, resignation, affectionateness, revolting, anarchist nature etc They arise from ‘genetic code’ (inherited) carry a family trait and thus a tendency to be peculiar
Physical+mental toltality B) built, looks, peculiar speech, behaviour both of the individual as a whole and his organs and system and thus have a tendency to particular diseases or illnesses which together we call “Miasmatic Trait’ Even the texture of the skin, distribution of hair, type and colour of skin, nails, length and prominence of bones go a long way in considering the right genetic constitutional similimum.
Physical+mental toltality C) the emotions of love, hate, fear, anxieties, fright illusions, delusions etc. D) desires and aversions of food, drinks, temperature etc. E) tolerance to and intolerance to various stimuli, physical and mental
Considering only the mentals or the physicals is the chief reason for suppression.

Many good follow-ups after a prescription, which proceed towards cure are nipped in the bud, due to inadequate knowledge of direction of cure.
  • 27.
Dr. Constantine Heringfirst showed us light … His direction guiding ‘law of cure’ is the second greatest discovery in Homoeopathy after that of Hahnemann…
  • 28.
Hering’s law ofdirection of cure Cure takes place with symptoms disappearing from : Above downwards Inside outwards Centre to periphery More important to less important organs or system In the reverse order of appearance of symptoms
  • 29.
Confusing Examples: 1.Asthma better…catarrh in chest reduced… followed by dry cough, sneezing,… = It is inside out.
  • 30.
Resulting in : confusion  non abidance of the ‘Law of Cure’  lose confidence in practice  put forth their own theories of cure to suit their convenience…do not stand the test of time and science…  not taking up risks in emergency cases like IHD, TB etc.  Rank of Homoeopathy an auxiliary science…used when there is no immediate risk…along with allopathy…  we ourselves belittle the scope of Homoeopathy due to ignorance.
  • 31.
Confusion is dueto Ignorance or lack of knowledge of ‘Human sciences’ like proper anatomy, physiology, embryology, immunology, neuro-endocrinology, human biochemistry, genetics etc.
  • 32.
Chart of suppression:‘Order in Disorder’ All that is happening in the human body whether cure or disease are mathematical in progression or regression.
  • 33.
Importance of humansciences We treat man in disease and not disease in man. To know the ‘MAN’ as a whole, we should know the internal mechanisms in man. What he is made up of How the systems function How he falls ill What to correct How to correct…cure…
  • 34.
Importance of physiologyCells  tissues  organs  systems  help man to live or survive Food elements and ions are supplied all over the body to build and maintain tissues This supply is by various means like cytoplasmic streaming, osmotic gradient, concentration gradient, electrical potential gradient etc.
  • 35.
Importance of physiologyFour different paths of supply of food called nutritive gradients or animal growth axes… all passive…require no energy… 1) from above downwards…2) from more important organ to less important organ…3) from centre to periphery…4) from inside out…
  • 36.
Importance of EmbryologyFoetus grows in a particular manner and direction…animal growth axis…life giving nutritive gradient…along which flow the elements necessary for growth and maintenance. Toxins and toxic proteins… not having passive gradient…are transported using active transport using up energy…destructive…opp. to nutritive gradient… Disease axis
  • 37.
Importance of EmbryologyDisease axis  deterioration of life  death Cure axis  appreciation of living values and healthy life but not immortality Cure axis  nutritive gradients, when strong can wash down the toxins from the tissues= even deeper tissues or parenchymas of organs= gradients of elimination
  • 38.
Importance of EmbryologyHomoeopathic remedies act on the body enhancing nutritive gradients and adjusting the electrical potentials as high in the important organs and low in less important organs like skin Any ointments, inhalants, anesthetic products etc do the reverse process thus interfering with the action of our remedies
  • 39.
Importance of EmbryologyOnce we understand ‘which’ organ is derived from ‘what’ embryological tissue, we shall clearly understand which organ is more important and which is less important. So the chart of suppression is a compass to gauge the directions of Hering’s law of cure.
  • 40.
Chart of sevenlayers of suppression and progression of disease
  • 41.
Embryological basis ofseven layers of suppression Seven layers of suppression based on embryological origin From skin to NS , from down upwards, according to their importance Why one is more important than the other?
  • 42.
Embryological basis ofseven layers of suppression Human egg, before it differentiates into various organs and systems, gives rise to 3 main germinal layers: Ectoderm Endoderm Mesoderm Fourth is a specialized ectoderm called Neuro-ectoderm or Neuroderm.
  • 43.
Viscera or theparenchyma of the viscera: lungs, heart, kidneys etc. organs developed from mesothelium of mesoderm – fourth layer. Ectoderm
  • 44.
Connective tissue Theconnection between the Endoderm derivatives and the Mesoderm derivatives is established by tissues arising out of the mesenchyme of the Mesoderm. These tissues are called Connective tissues. Connective tissues include blood, lymph, bones, cartilages, muscles, dermis, fascias and covering of organs This forms the layer between endoderm and the visceral mesoderm- third layer.
  • 45.
Neuro endocrine glandsExternally (the body) derived from ectoderm, endoderm or even mesoderm The functional part (secretary cells) is either neural crest in origin or neuro ectodermal origin. Some of these cells are found scattered in various tissues of the body like lungs, intestine etc. secreting neuro transmitters.
  • 46.
Neuro endocrineglands All the cells which perform the function of secreting the neuro transmitters or hormones whether in endocrine glands or elsewhere, are grouped together in A.P.U.D. (Amine Precursor Uptake Decarboxylate) system layer This is the Fifth layer.
  • 47.
Nervous system Sixthlayer N.S.(Central or Periferal or Brain ) are developed from neuro ectoderm which is a specialized ectoderm Ectoderm is least important when it forms the skin and most important when it forms the brain and the neural tissue. Endoderm and the mesoderm give rise to the organs which are in between.
  • 48.
Genetic code Seventhlayer. Affection of the basic cell code. Every cell has genetic code which has two parts: Basic cell code= common to all living cells – plant, animal or man Inherited code= inherited from parents and species.- nature, structure, tolerance, susceptibility etc. differs from individual to individual and from species to species.
  • 49.
Explanation of 7layers of suppression Disease at tissues and organs of impaired immunity Toxins are produced at those areas. Normally they are eliminated through natures methods= cough, vomiting, purging etc. If the impairment is too strong, toxins are transported to higher and higher levels/ layers by active trans-cell transport , against the gradient , using the ATP in mitochondria of every cell.
  • 50.
Explanation of 7layers of suppression Every time, the disease is suppressed, the toxins are pushed upwards.
  • 51.
Explanation of 7layers of suppression Partially similar drug shall remove symptoms but produce weakness Right constitutional similimum removes disease, removes weakness, eliminates toxins, increases the electrical potential of the vital organs, gives desire and stamina to work- the most important parameter of right homoeopathic treatment
  • 52.
Elaboration of thechart of 7 layers of suppression This chart is the compass to distinguish a right similimum from a wrong similimum Best means to ascertain whether a Homoeopath’s prescription is curative or suppressive.
  • 53.
  • 54.
  • 55.

  • 84.
6 th stage diseases in different Miasmatic Constitutions: Disseminated sclerosis, parkinsons disease… syphilis Tumours, neurofibromatosis sycosis Periferal neuritis, neuritis, diabetic neuropathy psora
  • 85.
7 th stage of disease supression The MIND. Not the emotions of love, hate , fear, fright, anxiety, anger etc…
  • 86.
Mind is encodedin GENES = the Genetic Code, Same in all cells Imparts character to the individual as a whole Composed of two parts. Acquired code Basic code.
  • 87.
Acquired code Inheritedfrom parents Specific to species Also represents characteristic acquired as a reaction to the environmental effects
  • 88.
Basic code Ithas characteristics which every cell (whether human, plant or animal) has to possess It represents code for functions which every cell has to perform like homoeostasis , defense and propagation .
  • 89.
Homoeostasis means: functionsfor the cell and individual to survive respiration, ingestion, digestion, excretion etc. controlled and governed by normal working and normal secretions of physio- neuro endocrinal mechanism or control system.
  • 90.
  • 91.
Defense means Protecting the cell and the individual from external harmful agents This also contributes to homeostasis
  • 92.
Impairment of defense Leads to injury to the organs and tissues Simulates the Syphilitic Trait Destructive tendency along with its effect on the organism, implies Syphilitic Miasm It is a flaw in the defense function of a cell.
  • 93.
Propagation means Mitosis = every cell has a code to multiply only into 2 daughter cells
  • 94.
Disturbance of Propagation Multiple reproduction of more than 2, 4, 8, 10 cells takes place resulting in overgrowth This tendency with its resulting effect on the organism , is called as Sycotic trait or Sycosis
  • 95.
7 th stage diseases Irreparable injury= gangrene, Parkinson's, motor neuron disease, disseminated sclerosis, complete destruction of islets of langerhans (permanent diabetes), Alzheimer’s disease etc. Syphilitic trait Defense Cancers, fibroids, atherosclerosis and its complications Sycotic Trait Propagation Disturbance in the functioning of limbic system- scizophrenias, obsessive psycosis, insanity, mania etc Psoric trait Homoeostasis
  • 96.
N.B . Diseasein the lower 3 layers can easily be removed by any Homoeopath by any method He can show impressive results in: I stage=eczema, boils, ring worm II stage=rhinitis, bronchitis, diarrhoea,UTI III stage= sciatica, joint pains, alopecia
  • 97.
N.B. Diseasesymptoms of IV and V stage can be sporadically or accidentally removed by wrong practitioners.
  • 98.
N.B. Partial similimumprescribers (mind or physic axis but not the totality) can ameliorate the disease symptoms in the IV and V stage. (E.G. hypertension, ischaemias, diabetes, thyroid. Suppresses disease to a higher stage High and higher potency to ‘cow’ down the symptoms with gradually decreasing intervals of repetition This indicates suppression
  • 99.
N.B. Disease symptomsof IV, V, VI stages cannot be ameliorated by wrong or specific prescribers Diabetes, pituitary tumors, hypertensions, tuberculosis, atherosclerotic conditions, multiple sclerosis, cancers , AIDS, cannot be treated confidently by wrong prescribers.
  • 100.
N.B. Lower stagedisease symptoms are a result of dynamic disturbance in biochemical reactions, which can be altered easily either ways Higher stage disease symptoms are brought about by a deviation of the ‘genetic code’
  • 101.
N.B. In higherstage diseases, say a gene is derepressed, which synthesizes a protein which alters the lipid metaboism to create hypercholesterolemia, or derepresses a gene which synthesizes protein to alter blood biochemistry to create atherosclerosis in cardiac or cerebral vessels. Such tendencies cannot be eradicated without affecting a change in the genetic level.
  • 102.
N.B. Such changesat the genetic levels can be done by Homoeopaths who are not ‘extremists’ = those who do not prescribe ‘only for body’ or ‘only for mind’ They have to be wholistic and prescribe for totality to get a cure as per ‘Law of cure’. Cancers schizophrenia etc can never be cured or ameliorated by ‘extremists’.
  • 103.
N.B. Diseaseprogression can be in one, two or three currents in an individual E.g. backache  diabetes  parkinsonism= 3 rd layer  5 th layer  7 th layer (Syphilitic current destroying the islets of langerhans and the nerve cells permanently) E.g. backache  acute ischaemic heart disease with massive atherosclerosis  cerebral ischemia= 3 rd  4 th layer (Sycotic current) Medicine should be predominantly syco-syphilitic) like Aur. Met, Phos etc..
  • 104.
N.B. Chickenpox, small pox, measles, herpes have the direction of expression on the body exactly opposite to that of other ectodermal disease. Ie. In the direction of cure axis Exteriorization of toxins Enanthema followed by exanthema No medicine is the best treatment but if any untoward direction is followed, intervene with right similimum
  • 105.
Compensatory Cure 7th layer is virtually a point of ‘no return’ But a sort of cure can take place even at this level ‘ Cure’ here implies ‘restoration’ of near to normal functions, with sensation of ‘well being’ leading to peaceful, prolonged existence in spite of and despite of the pathology. Achieved by prescribing on totality. We do not see the applicability of Hering’s law of cure.

Appreciate ‘Hering’s lawof Cure in each and every case, be it acute or chronic
  • 133.
Physical+mental toltality A)basic nature or ‘mind’ of a person as is represented in each and every cell by his genetic code.
  • 134.
Physical+mental toltality B)built, looks, peculiar speech, behaviour both of the individual as a whole and his organs and system and thus have a tendency to particular diseases or illnesses which together we call “Miasmatic Trait’ Even the texture of the skin, distribution of hair, type and colour of skin, nails, length and prominence of bones go a long way in considering the right genetic constitutional similimum.
  • 135.
