Jane Addams, An Advocate Of Immigrants, The Poor, Women,...
Explain who created the source and why.
Jane Addams was an upper class woman who thought it was her job to help others. Addams was
an advocate of immigrants, the poor, women, and peace. In 1889, she created the hull house. The
Hull house was created to help female immigrants become assimilated to the American life style by
helping get them a job, learn the language, and receive an education. So it was no surprise that in in
1915, Jane Addams wrote the life changing article Why Women Should Vote .
Discuss whether or not the writer was a neutral party. If not, explain the opinions or interests that
might have influenced what was written
During the 1900 s women were under the idea of the cult of domesticity. This means that the
women s place was in the home. They had jobs such as cooking, cleaning, and caring for the
children. In the article Why Women should Vote , it is clear to see that Addams is biased and
believes that women deserve the right to vote. However, unlike other persuasive article Addams
article is different, she believes women should be able to vote but she doesn t bash the male
population. She writes an article where she says not only why women should get the vote or why
women should have the vote, but rather she talks about why women should vote and why it is the
responsibility of women to vote. Many women around the country felt oppressed. Different groups,
started to form as they fought for women s rights. Groups such as National American Women

Colonoscopy Research Paper
In the past two weeks, I ve had family death and family hospitalized which caused a great amount
of stress on me. My grandfather s oldest brother died a month before his birthday, October 26th.
It left a great deal of pain on my chest as I watched his grandchildren speak about him in ways I
didn t know was possible. Shortly before his death, my grandfather was hospitalized. I became
accustomed to him being hospitalized since it was something unordinary. I didn t expect this visit
to be one of great length, but as usual with visits like these, I was mistaken. September 30th was a
usual day. I came home from school, saw my grandparents and did my homework. Having little to
no premonitions to what would become of that night; I was in for a... Show more content on

As someone who is concerned would do, my family and I asked multiple questions concerning the
surgical process. Doctors explained that my grandfather would be having a colonoscopy. A
colonoscopy is an exam used to detect changes or abnormalities in the large intestine. Through
the explanation of this surgery, my grandfather was not too fond of the process. But for his
health, it was necessary. After the surgery had taken place, his colon wasn t awake just yet
because of the high dosage of morphine the surgeons administered to him. The awakening of the
colon is a tedious process he went through. The nurses advised my grandmother and him that a
liquid only diet would be the only nutrients he could receive. Being my grandfather, he became
curious of the wires attached to him. This curiosity resulted in him wearing a nose tube that
caused the liquid diet to terminate. A change this sudden made his body weaker each day. Family
members visited him and noticed his true feelings weren t overtly displayed. My grandmother and
mom became a little irritated with that he wouldn t share how he truly felt to the nurses and
doctors. During this time, my grandmother started to come home during the day and a relative
would stay until about six o clock until she returned. With my uncle being the main person to stay
with my grandfather, he no longer could stay at the hospital. My uncle ended up in a car wreck
which resulted in me staying Monday earlier this

Mohammad s Creation Of A Trans Tribal State
Mohammad s creation of a trans tribal state occurred during his population of Medina. After he was
persecuted in Mecca, Mohammad sought refuge in Medina. After successfully gaining protection
from its tribes Mohammad sought to make Medina a better place. Mohammad immediately planted
crops, created employment, found water alternatives, and created a town center. After surpassing
necessities Mohammad moved on to his ultimate goal a unified, religious state. Mohammad sought
to make Medinaa monotheistic state in contrast to the rampant paganism. Those who lived in
Medina and did not agree with Mohammad s ideals were either kicked out or ended up converting.
Mohammad created an environment in which different tribes could live while following... Show

The aim of the Constitution was to unify, this meant that non natives and immigrants would be
considered equal in the eyes of the law. The term, believer, frequently used in the document was not
exclusive to Muslims, the articles clarify that a protected believer could be from a different faith so
long as they agree to the terms of the Constitution. It is important to note that some Muslim
countries today would actually be in violation of the Constitution seeing as they do believe in a
hierarchical social and legal system. The ideal state sought to eradicate Pagan practices from the
land by bringing in other nations for a stronger monotheistic presence. Articles 29 40of the
Constitution deal with the specifications for Jewish tribes, including protection and status. At first
glance the extensive amount of articles seems unnecessary, but Khan points out that each article is
specified to show the Jews equality in the eyes of Muhammad. Each article specified a different
Jewish tribe, this showed Muhammad s acknowledgement of each unique tribe while also stating
their equality in his eyes; each tribe s article is identical therefore no tribe is considered loftier than
another. Article 28 states that all disagreements which cannot be settled between people will be
answered by Allah and Muhammad. Although other minorities agreed to live in peace with and

Summary Of The House Divided Speech
Abraham Lincoln won the Republican nomination for Illinois Senate seat on June 16, 1858.
Stephen Douglas would be his opponent in this battle to become the Senator. His nomination
led to him delivering one of his most memorable speeches, the House Divided speech in which
he precursors the looming Civil War. He starts the speech by addressing Mr. President and
Gentlemen of the Convention , and states how it s been too long since a policy has been passed
with the intentions of ending the slavery agitation . He keeps pulling on this and then states his
opinion on the matter, in which he says he doesn t believe that the issue of slavery will be
resolved until something tragic happens. I find it funny how Lincoln is able to predict this so
well yet no one really seems to heed his warnings. That s when he hits them with the famous part
of the speech, A house divided against itself cannot stand... , and what he means by this is that the
country can t always be divided between slavery and free states. He says he doesn t expect the
country to fall apart though, rather he expects it to either get rid of slavery all together or the
whole country to embrace slavery. He then calls out the skeptics and reminds them about the Dred
Scott v. Stanford case and The Kansas Nebraska act. Lincoln goes on to make the point that the
Kansas Nebraska Act and Dred Scott reversed the constitutional authority to ban slavery in the
territories. The next part of the speech Lincoln discusses the

Analysis Of The Stimulus Material Given I Saw A...
From reading the stimulus material given I saw a relationship between the disappearance of
language and technological advancements. In the Self Portrait Along the Borderline Between
Mexico and the United States by Frida Khalo a painting that shows the differences between
Mexico and America in the 1900s, there appears to be a difference of culture between America
and Mexico. America is more modern, as Mexico is more classic. America s modernization is
shown in the different factories in the background, and Mexico s classicism is shown through the
ancient Mexican temple in the background. As stated in Vanishing Voices , written by Russ Rymer,
As modern inventions like cars enters their world, the Seris tend to adapt their language rather than
import Spanish words. Erica Barnett uses an abandoned car as a hothouse to grow mangroves to
replenish an estuary (21). Rymer is stating that with new technologies, people need to adapt. I
believe that not only do people need to adapt, but also governments need to be more accustomed to
advances in technology. With the introduction of the Internet many governments need to change.
This change would come through passing different laws which would censor the Internet and in
doing so, limit freedom of speech, because this is widely controversial in the US. I began to look
at why this is so controversial. According to Andrea Leadsom, a Conservative Member of
Parliament for South Northamptonshire, the Internet should be censored for the kids.

Compare And Contrast Zero Hour And Who s There
There are many comparisons one could make between the two exceptional survival horror

observe kids playing a game called Invasion with not a normal kid named Drill. At first we think
this is just a neighborhood activity until we find out it is actually a worldwide activity. The
premise of the game is that Martians are using kids to invade Earth. This so called game goes
haywire when it turns out this is no game and the Martians have actually invaded Earth. How the
story finishes is with the parents of a young girl being trapped in the attic with the Martians in the

Olaudah Equiano Inhumanity
When the British settlers arrived in America, in 1607, it was realized they did not have enough
food or supplies necessary to survive. The settlers received help from the Native Americans and
even though these people were essential for the survival of these foreigners, they were soon
enslaved and killed. Many documents in American history have said every man is created equally,
and mistreatment is not acceptable, but American actions throughout this time period do not reflect
these ideas. These British natives had just been freed of the monarchy in their country, yet soon
after their arrival, the settlers began to declare themselves the authority figures in America, leaving
everyone else below them. Olaudah Equiano s The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah
Equiano best exemplifies this idea through economic factors, the widely accepted inhumanity
towards African Americans, and shows how documents written with these American ideals in
mind only apply to the people of the same race and gender of whom these documents were written
by. Once people started to realize there was a lot of work to be done in America, they purchased
the African people to use... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

156). Even though he said all men are created equally, Jefferson owned slaves and had them
working his plantation. Although this document was written after Equiano reached America, there
were many slaves that followed him who were treated the same way. Though it was not stated,
Jefferson was writing these ideas with only one type of person in mind: white

Analysis Of The Poem The Ballad Of Jed Clampett
Originally named The Muleskinners, The Hamilton County Bluegrass band was founded by a
group of university students in Auckland in 1962.[9] For the young members, their first encounter
with bluegrass would be the theme song The Ballad of Jed Clampett from the television show
The Beverly Hillbillies. The show was one of the few American shows airing on New Zealand
television at the time. The Flatt and Scruggs theme tune and Scruggs style banjo influenced player
Paul Trenwith, who said that s how I wanted to learn banjo, and we found out there was a whole
music genre that went with that, so we chased that up. [10] Television was one of the key ways that
the bluegrass genre was and still is transmitted internationally. The dominance of... Show more

The albums of the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band included typical bluegrass fare, recording
covers of genre pioneers Bill Monroe and Flatt Scruggs. Their concert repertoire included covers
of bluegrass standards such as Salty Dog Blues , Uncle Pen , Kentucky Waltz and Orange
Blossom Special, a song for which they became known for.[13] These songs referenced rural life
and locations, whether explicitly such as Kentucky Waltz or within the lyrics, referencing hunting
or barn dances. In 1967, the band performed Reno and Smiley s Barefoot Nellie, a song with
rural themes and humorous lyrics such as Nellie put on her Sunday dress Thought that it would
look the best Made out of an old feed sack Cow feed wrote on the back [14] Adopting an American
accent, the recording of Barefoot Nellie features high lonesome harmony and solos on the banjo,
mandolin and fiddle, with band members displaying virtuosic mastery of their instruments. These
covers featured on their albums amongst traditional songs and an assortment of their own original
music, however much of their original music didn t emerge until their 1971 album For You. Most
likely due to the obscurity of the albums at the time, there is little to no lyrical or musical
information or description to be found regarding these original recordings. The band also looked to
other influences, recording their own interpretations of popular songs, such

Exploratory Factor Analysis Essay
The results indicated that the Cronbach alpha for climate for sexual harassment measure was
well above 0.70 as recommended by Nunnally (1978) i.e. 0.934. The corrected item total
correlation for all the items within the scale was positive and exceeded the value of 0.3 by a
wide margin (Pallant, 2005). An examination of the scale s inter item correlation matrix indicated
that the scale showed a moderate to strong positive correlation between all the items within the
scale (Gliem Gliem, 2003). The result determined that all items within the scales were stable
enough to assess the intended construct. Exploratory factor analysis was utilized to determine the
construct validity using principle axis factoring with varimax rotation. For climate of sexual
harassment, the value of Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) was .919 which is superb (Hutcheson
Sofroniou, 1999, p 224 225) and the Bartlett test of sphericity was highly significant (p .001;
df=55; Approx. Chi Square=2777.314) thus, supporting the factorability of the correlation matrix,
proving that the factor analysis was appropriate (Table 4). An examination of the correlation matrix

which was labelled as Climate for sexual harassment . The factor loadings in the rotated factor
matrix for all the singular items were more than .6, thus proofing convergent validity (Table 4).

Essay on Machiavelli’s The Prince and the Modern Executive
The Prince and the Modern Executive
Few question The Prince s place in the canon of western literature. That it marks a turning point in
our collective history, the origin of the study of politics as a science (Pollock 43), is alone enough
to warrant its classification as a Great Book. Its author, Niccolo Machiavelli, a contemporary of
Copernicus, is generally accepted as an early contributor to the scientific revolution, because he
looked at power and the nature of sovereignty through the eyes of a scientist, focused completely on
the goal without regard for religion and morals and ethics. Machiavelli taught that the way princes
actually do govern often differs substantially from than the way they ought to govern, according to

A corporation has its king and its barons, its courtiers and ambassadors, its loyalists and its
dissident elements, its allies and its enemies. What is important to our application of his principles
of statecraft to the business world is not the superficial differences but the underlying unity. Modern
corporations that are successful and well managed do not necessarily operate in harmony with the
personal morality of their employees and for the general good of their communities. Similarly, firms
which pollute the environment or ask their employees to lie are not always forced into bankruptcy.
The individualism and secularism that characterized the Italian Renaissance are dominant themes in
Machiavelli s thinking. His use of historical examples throughout The Prince demonstrates an
extensive knowledge of Greek and Roman history and is consistent with the new found love for
antiquity of the Renaissance. Machiavelli was, in every sense of the word, a true renaissance man.
He appears to be remarkably well educated, although limited finances probably prevented him from
studying at a major university. As a result, the effect of humanist teachings, prevalent at most of the
institutions of higher learning at the time, on Machiavelli was limited. Machiavelli s knowledge of
specific details of politics is primarily the culmination of a life long career as a bureaucrat and
diplomat.

Satire In Film
There are many films of the 1990s that were considered revolutionary, whether it was because of
their use of new technology for improved visuals, or the unconventional plotlines that were cutting
edge and exciting for viewers. Scream, Pulp Fiction, and Fight Club are three films that changed
the film industry in many ways, and they left such a lasting impression on their audiences that they
are still considered classics today. Scream was one of the first films to use satire and black comedy
to challenge the predictable and anticlimactic genre of horror. This filmserved as a criticism
regarding how the media and film industry often use cheap thrills in order to gain attention, and
how viewers will easily fall for this tactic. Pulp Fiction was... Show more content on

Towards the end of the film, Randy calls out a typical horror film trick: Careful. This is the
moment when the supposedly dead killer comes back to life, for one last scare, (Scream). This
not only criticizes horror movies, but it also references the ways in which the media and news
outlets will keep drawing viewers in with graphic or thrilling images and stories, even if the
information is unimportant or irrelevant. This is representative of American culture in the 1990s
because it was a time of questioning authority and thinking as an individual despite what tactics
big businesses or newscasters used to draw in a bigger audience. This is also demonstrated by
Gale Weathers character who, after witnessing various murders and nearly being murdered
herself, immediately decides to broadcast the scene on the news in order to make it as a famous
newscaster. Her character was intended to be a blatant criticism on how, particularly in the 90s
but still today, media outlets thrive off of flashy or vulgar stories even if it means exploiting those
involved. This film is a classic because it is not just a scary movie it is a parody of a scary movie
that, while also demonstrating many qualities of a good slasher film, uses clever and fourth wall
breaking dialogue to criticize how easily viewers will fall for shameless thrills in the

Why Is Alexander The Great Bad
Alexander the Great was a Macedonian king, a fierce warrior, and able to conquer many lands.
He was from Macedonia but mainly associated with Greece. Although Alexander the Great may
have done amazing things, he was overall ruthless and evil. Alexander the Great should be
remembered as a villain because he mistreated many people, conquered lands in war and showed
rage and aggressiveness. Alexander the Great was a ruthless villain because he mistreated many
people. He mistreated people by selling 30,000 of them as slaves, and and killing 6,000 people. I
think this is uncalled for and in unnecessary. When you show that much anger and frustration for no
reason, you will be remembered in a negative way. This proves my point on Alexander the Great

The Cherokee And Cherokee Culture
The endeavor to keep Cherokee culture alive through works of pottery, woven baskets, paintings,
beaded clothing, or other assorted items has always been a focus of the Cherokee people. Building
One Fire is a compilation of Cherokee art showcasing the variety of mediums they express their
creative styles through and illustrating the Cherokeeway of life. Throughout the years, the
government of the United States has played a large part in this struggle, whether they are repressing
their culture, acting as patrons to the Cherokee artists, or directly and indirectly influencing the
Cherokee artists through legislation regarding the Cherokee Nation. The story of the relationship
between the Cherokee and the government is clearly outlined in Art of The Cherokee, exploring
how American views of the Cherokee culture have progressed over time, specifically in relation to
Cherokee art. The relationship can be viewed in two parts. In the first part, the United States
believed the best approach was to press assimilation onto the Cherokee people and suppress their
culture. Both the government and citizens of the United States believed Cherokee land possessed
more value than the Cherokee culture, and attempted to gain their land through devaluing the
people and attacking their culture. Tensions between the Cherokee and the government continued
well into the 20th century, but a shift occurred in the early 1900s when the government began to

Federal Funding And Private Investors
specified in Proposition 1A. However, as time passes, the initial estimate is beginning to look
like a low ball. The construction process has taken longer than expected up until this point, and
that has many direct and indirect costs associated. Some of these include increased number of
work hours, job site utilities, and equipment rentals (Cox). Because of this increase in price, the
state of California has tried to match federal funding with private investors. This, however, has
been a slow and uncertain process. Another overestimation on the side of the CAHSR is in train
times. Cox argues that the CHSRA s anticipated average speeds are not being achieved anywhere
in the world, even on the most advanced lines. He also states that the HSR would be unattractive
to drivers in middle distance automobile markets because little or no door to door time savings
would be achieved and costly local connections would often be required (rental cars or taxicabs).
California lacks the extensive local transit infrastructure in the Central Valley that can be found in
dense Asian and European areas; these smaller connecting systems are what make the high speed
railso effective on other continents. Without them, it is a lengthier process for consumers to get to
their end destination they have to use both the public transit and their own form of transportation.
This could have a negative effect on ridership because consumers will forego the hassle of changing

Anti Gun Control
Due to recent mass shootings in the U.S. many Americans fear for their safety. Many Americans
fear to go out to movie theaters, restaurants, and even their children s schools. In the article Will
Sikh temple shooting spark U.S. conversation on gun control , Peter Greier claims Americans are
deeply split about the prospect of new gun laws, and tragic events such as recent mass killings do
not change voter opinions. Gun control laws should be any more strict because it would be

Being forced by law to leave her fire arm locked away in her car, she didn t know this particular
time would be the best situation to use it. Her lunch would be interrupted by a criminal with a gun.
She watched as he shot each victim one by one. Including her own parents. Had she possessed her
gun in this instance these tragic deaths may not have occurred.
However, not all guns should be aloud and open to the public. In most cases assault weapons are
used in mass shootings. In California it is illegal to own any gun with with an AK/AK15. Assault
weapons are unnecessary to defend yourself. Sometimes all it takes to defend yourself is just
revealing your fire arm. For example Appalachian School was being targeted by a shooter when a
few brave students showed enough courage to run out to their cars and grab their fire arms. These
students were lucky to prevent any deaths from happening.
Furthermore, more gun laws would not stop a criminal from possessing a gun. Criminals already
don t obey the law. Background checks are an absolute must. Background checks should prevent a
gun from getting in the wrong hands of the wrong person. Many criminals clan they like the gun
control laws because it leaves the victim helpless and without a gun. If every home had a gun, less
criminals feel power over victims by possessing a gun. By everyone having a gun, it equalizes the

Memorial Dbq
For famous men have the whole earth as their memorial (Pericles). Memorials are an icon to
represent some historical events that have happened or even people who have made a significant
impact on society. For example, they symbolize many things that had happened in the past and
people could go there and remember some good things that it has caused. People can even go there
and pay tribute to the person the memorialis about. There are three sources that show the importance
of memorials and why they should be built.
Source A (Savage) states that memorials are important to some people of our nation. For example,
in Source A (Savage), the author states that In this way the monumental core in Washington
functions somewhat like a pilgrimage site, where communities of believers actually come together
in the act of occupying a holy site, seeing a relic, reenacting a sacred event (Kirk Savage). Some
people go to the memorials in Washington D.C. to get a sense of how important that person was.
Also, they go there to remember the family members ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, in Source G, the author says that The use of names was a way to bring back
everything someone could remember about that person (Maya Lin). Sometimes, the strength in
the name would make people wonder about the abstractions of that design. The ability of a name
could bring back so many memories of a person that you know or loved. Seeing the names on the
wall of the people who were killed makes it all real to those who didn t live through that time and it
also etches those names in history until the end of time. Our name is important to us. It is
important to always remember the names of the people who sacrificed everything for us. The need
for the names to be on the memorial would become the memorial; there was no need to embellish
the design further. The people and their names would allow everyone to respond and remember.

The Deregulation Of Domestic Financial Sector
Today, it is considered to be a common knowledge, that the deregulation of domestic financial
sector and opening of capital account of the balance of payments played a major role in the
recent economic crisis of 2007 08. Policies, that have been stated above can be put together and
named as the liberalization of the capital account. Liberalization stands for lessening of
government regulations and restrictions in the economy. It offers a certain sector of the
economy an opportunity to compete internationally. However, there are a number of risks
connected with liberalization, which will be discussed later in this paper. Thus, the question is
as follows: is liberalization worth the risk, or a wise implementation of capital controls leads to
potentially more positive outcomes for the global economy? Since late 1970 s and up until the
Great Recession, the ultimate goal of many economies of the world was to move towards a fully
opened capital account. In theory, this would allow a more efficient allocation of global financial
resources: capital would flow from rich industrial economies into rising, yet poor developing

Descriptive Essay On St. Kitt
You are relaxing on a beautiful Island beach in the middle of the Caribbean. You re reading your
favorite book, and enjoying a nice fruity cocktail you bought from the bar. You set your drink
down to turn the page, but when you reach back for another sip, your drink is mysteriously
missing. Nobody else is in site, so where could it have gone? Then, you look towards the palm
trees and in the distance you see a furry little critter scurrying on his hind legs indulging in your
delicious cocktail. Now, this Caribbeanisland of St. Kitts is home to plenty of extraordinary things,
like lush tropical rain forests, white sand beaches, picturesque mountain tops, and striking
volcanoes, but never have you seen anything like a furry little animal with such a taste for alcohol.
A number of animals inhabit this island, including iguanas, bats, barracudas, sea turtles, and
countless species of birds. Except, there is one particular animal wreaking havoc on this dreamy
island getaway. That animal the cheeky one that stole your cocktail is none other than the vervet
monkey.
On St. Kitts you will find troops of vervet monkeys with a bit of an alcohol problem. So much so
that they have learned to steal alcohol from bars and unsuspecting tourists in order to become
obnoxiously drunk. After getting their fix, these monkeys exhibit the typical inebriated behavior
that comes with alcohol. You can see them rolling on the ground, falling out of trees, and even
damaging property. However, not all

Whaling African Americans
Whaling
Whaling was very physical and economic business and the primary products were spermaceti,
whale bones, sperm, and whale oil. The Native Americans used whaling for tribal purposes. The
colonist in NEw ENgland hunted whales for baleen and oil. Whaling also gave them better burning
candles. This is how the number of hales began to decrease as time went on.
Moreover, whales were hunted for mainly oil, because of this, colonists were hunting whales for
half a century. To make the oil they carried pots on their ships, they would cook the oil after they
hunted the whale and they put them in barrels. Since the oil was extremely hot, it wouldn t spoil,

Joe Sacco s On Satire
How and why is a social group represented in a particular way?
The cartoonists are the main social group portrayed in the cartoon On Satire by Joe Sacco, which

cavemen who often cross the line between satire and just outright offensive mockery of the
religious beliefs of Muslims. The purpose of the cartoon is to ridicule the black and white way of
representation of all Muslims as terrorists. Also he is aiming to get cartoonists to convince

terrorism exists instead of just eradicating all Muslims and hoping that terrorism dies with them.

Pathos, on the other hand, is used to appeal to the emotional side of readers by asking them to

The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and Citizen Kane a movie directed by Orson

is essentially what consumes Gatsby. Both Kane and Gatsby are representations of the American

Ludwig Van Beethoven
When I was young I always heard the name, Ludwig van Beethoven. As I started my journey as a

Throughout some point in Beethoven s lifetime, he became one of Europe s greatest classical

Binder viscosity was altered by changing temperature. The...
Binder viscosity was altered by changing temperature. The initial dispersion of the binder in the
powder depends upon viscosity and shear rate applied. (Schaefer, 1996) Binder viscosity also
controls the consolidation rate and hence subsequent growth via coalescence. (Ennis, et al., 1991).
Results from Rough et al (2005) showed that increased temperature (lower viscosity), the regimes
are reached faster because the binder is able to distribute more effectively in the mixture at a
given shear rate which is in accordance with the work reported by Schaefer et al (1996). As LAS

At the crumble regime, bulk density and porosity of the granules display significant turning
points. Rough et al (2005) also stated that the crumble regime is a key stage in the agglomeration
mechanism as it is the point between macro and micro mixing. Hibare (2012) concluded that as
binder to solid ratio increases, granulation time to achieve a particular size distribution decreases.
Hibare (2012) also showed that granule strength decreases as binder to solid ratio increases due to
more liquid content in the granules in both reactive and non reactive binder systems.
2.2High Viscous (Detergent) vs Low Viscous Granulation Mechanisms
According to the research work on a high viscous binder detergent granulation system of LAS
(high viscosity binder) and zeolite carried out by Rough et al (2005), they found that at a higher
impeller speed, size distribution had the same peak modal diameter, a narrower peak width and
less vol% of bigger granule diameter. Comparing findings from Rough et al (2005) detergent
granulation with pharmaceutical granulation of lactose and PEG melt (low viscosity binder)

and a narrower size distribution at higher speed. Heng et al (2000) suggested that at higher

Because I Could Not Stop For Death And Death Be Not Proud
Death and the afterlife exist as the most controversial topics in existence. Mortality is a fact, but
no one knows what happens afterwards. Some choose to believe in an afterlife, others believe
death to be the end. Many artists and writers have tried to interpret death and restrict it to a picture
or words. It can prove challenging as no one has experienced deathand lived to tell the tale. Though
challenging it has not prevented those brave enough to attempt to capture the essence of death.
Death be not Proud by John Donne, Because I could not stop for Death and I Heard a Fly Buzz
When I Died both by Emily Dickinson, attempt to confine death into a prison made of letters.
These poems deal with different encounters with metaphorical death. Death be not Proud deals
with death in the present tense. The narrator encounters personified death face to face, and begins
spouting their opinions of him. They compare death to rest and sleep, degrading death s power.
Next he declares death nothing but a slave to fate chance. As if all the insults did not suffice, the
finishing blow comes when the narrator calls death a short sleep. Because once they die they will
just live again eternally, instead death will die forever. Donne wrote from a Christian viewpoint,
believing death is not worthy of fear.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

One of the first reasons death is so important is because without death earth would have reached
its carrying capacity along time ago. Alan Watts a famous british philosopher once said If one
person dies, it is in a way honorable, because he s making room for others ( ). Watt s said that
dying was honorable which is very true. Through death current generations are leaving room for
the next generation and their contributions to the world. Improving the world is one of the main
goals of humans and many find comfort in knowing, as Jeffrey Kluger wrote in his Time

when you arrived ( ). One of the most fulfilling things for a person to know before they die is that
they have had some sort of impact on the world around them, whether it be through the
environment, animals, or the people around them, it helps people feel like their death was more
meaningful if they know they left a legacy behind. Alan Watts once said that death is the source of

which more plants can grow ( ). All around things die but in the end death makes way for future

She has overcome several obstacles and challenges on the way up. She started in a time when
women weren t allowed to work and were expected to stay home and play house. Julia didn t grow
up wanting to be the chef, author, or TV personality she is known for today. One woman changed
the way that Americans look at foodand even the way that we prepare our meals at home. She didn

to something by simply chasing what she loves, why can t we?
Julia attended college at Smith College in the 1903 s. At that point in time only about 5% of
women went to college with 66.6% not completing a four year program. (Lehman 1997). After
college, she volunteered for a position at the Office of Strategic Services, hoping to become a

Theme Of Romance In Pride And Prejudice
Romance seems so urgent and delightful in Austen because marriage is a business, and her
characters cannot help treating it as a pleasure. Pride and Prejudice is the best of her novels
because its romance involves two people who were born to be in love, and care not about business,
pleasure, or each other. It is frustrating enough when one person refuses to fall in love, but when
both refuse, we cannot rest until they kiss.
Of course all depends on who the people are. When Dorothea marries the Rev. Casaubon in Eliot
s Middlemarch, it is a tragedy. She marries out of consideration and respect, which is all wrong;
she should have married for money, always remembering that where money is, love often follows,
since there is so much time for it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In 1996 Lord Woolf reconstructed his review on Civil Justice which led to the Access to Justice
Act 1999. There were a number of criticisms within the system and Lord Woolf s aim was to
reduce cost, delay and complexity within the system and increase access to justice. (Elliot Quinn,

There are currently 216 county courts that are solely concerned with civil work. Around 170 of
them are divorce county courts and have jurisdiction to hear undefended divorce and adoption or

there is a separate Family Court which was introduced in April 2014. Next is the court of Appeal,

identify with this movie, the fear of speaking out to others to convince them of your point. The
fear of trying to prove a point to others that may have more knowledge on the subject or be able
to refute it better. In reference to the movie it was about defending a personal honor, having the
right to speak out and be equal with others. Debating requires excellent mastery of vocabulary,
logic, and nerves. In a debate, you need to be poised and confident in order to get your point
across effectively. Just like a regular speech. There are many speeches that have lifted hearts in
dark times, gave hope in despair, inspired brave feats, gave courage to the weary, honored the
dead, and changed the course of history. Without inspiring, passionate public speeches many
people may not have had the fortitude to press on. In the eleven year period between 1957 and

The War Of A War
War occurs almost everywhere in the world and can be seen as a means of symbolism and
patriotism. The Revolutionary War was fought in order to gain independence. That was the
meaning behind that war. However, why do societies go to war, other than to fight for
independence? Ever since the beginning of time war has been used as a means to invade
another country and rid them of their resources. Whether it s a war or just invasion, it is still a
means of bombarding a country or society without any rights. Regardless of the invasion and
the reason being, the people of the country being invaded are affected and so are the veterans
invading the country. Most people tend to ignore the internal struggles veterans face post war.
The civilians of a war zoned country are also majorly affected in ways many people fail to see
because of the lack of media coverage. Most veterans returning from a war struggle from post
traumatic stress disorder, individuals in societies are blind to the fact that these people are mentally
unstable because of the experience they go through. Most people will salute a veteranbecause in
America it is proper to respect those who served the country. These people aren t aware that some
of these individuals might not want to be reminded of their actions and some of them might not be
entirely proud of what they did at war. The civilians are also very much ignored because no one
cares about the amount of innocent lives taken every day. The negative impact war

have taken advantage of numerous learning opportunities to develop skills and enhance my social
work practice. These assignments align with the goals and tasks outlined with in my Learning

reviewing the Durham CAS Code of Ethics, and an introduction to colleagues. I also reviewed the
Child and Family Services Act (CFSA) and Eligibility Spectrum. I continued to strengthen my
understanding of how agency policies and services meet client needs through various shadowing
opportunities. Some of these experiences include shadowing a Children s Services Worker and
participating in a Plan of Care meeting, attending a home visit with a Kinship Worker, and
shadowing Family Services Workers and observing how they meet client needs during

Spirited Away Shintoism
In the film, Spirited Away, there were many references displayed in regards to the Japanese culture
of Shintoism. A major aspect of Shintoism is the belief in the kami (divine beings). They also
include spirits that embody natural forces like wind and fire, animals, or an aspect of admiring
landscape, such as mountains or waterfalls. Even regular human beings can ultimately be revered
as kamiafter death as long as they lived a pure life. In Spirited Away, purity is one of the main
themes prevalent throughout the film. When the characters in the film resort themselves to greed,
they are punished with dire consequences. For example, Chihiro s parents were starving when they
arrived to the abandoned theme park and smelled an aroma of delicious... Show more content on

In fact, once Chihiro is in the strange world, Haku warns her to not make a noise so no one
would find out that she s a human. Once revealed that she is human, people are startled and start
to cause a riot (17:30). The audience doesn t know what s going on or what to think of the
spirits. Are they good or evil? For instance, Zeniba and Yubaba are twin sisters, yet they contrast
so much in evil and good. Zeniba is good, while Yubaba is bad. Nonetheless, they do not stick to
one personality as the mean Yubaba shows love and affection towards her child, and the good
Zeniba curses Haku. This causes confusion in the audience and leaves them questioning who s
good and who s evil. Also, No Face and the River spirit were both not good spirits in the beginning,
but lo and behold, they turned out to be good at the end under their facade. Spirited Away leaves
both good and evil spirits to coexist, as they create harmony and advocate peace. Another key point,
Yubaba stripped away Chihiro s true name, including Haku s, upon gaining employment at the
bathhouse. In order for Chihiro to recover continuity with her past, she must create a new identity.
Throughout her spiritual journey, Chihiro has overcome her problems and the problems of others.
At the end of the movie, when her parents mention that the big move must be scary for her, Chihiro

A Note On The New Baltic Bank
Considering that this is the first time the New Baltic Bank enters to a syndicated loan, I will point
out the important key clauses that you should be looking for in a loan agreement. The loan
agreement is the document set out by the Lender, which is in this case, is the bank to provide the
terms and conditions of the loanthat will be given to the borrower. The structure of the agreement
must have a few components such as representations, warranties, covenants and duties.
The Loan Market Association along with major city law firms and the Association of corporate

Summary Of A Child Called It By Dave Pelzer
Author Dave Pelzer was born on December 29th 1960 and was the second of five boys. He grew up
in California where he suffered extreme abuse and mistreatment from his mother as a child for
about 8 years and that s what he wrote his books about. At age 18 he joined the U.S. Air Force and
served in the Gulf War. Dave is now an american nonfiction writer for several autobiographical and
self help books. His most famous book is A Child Called It . A young boy named David who lived
in Daly City, California had a wonderful family who was very loving and caring up until he was
four years old. He doesn t know what happened but everything changed. His mother started
beating him. Some of the first things she did to him was punch him nonstop or throw him
against the mirror in the bathroom and bang his head so hard against it you could see imprints
of his face on the glass and blood marks and that was just the beginning. Soon she started not to
let him eat, he would wake up in the morning with no breakfast most of the time unless his
brothers and some scraps for him otherwise he would get lunch which was a peanut butter
sandwich and a couple of carrots and no dinner every day. He wore the same clothes for years
straight and they haven t been washed ever so he was humiliated and bullied all the time at school.
The beatings and cruelty from his mom only got worse. One time she was beating him and she
broke his arm really bad and brought him to the hospital and said he fell from a bunk

Addams was an advocate of immigrants, the poor, women, and peace. In 1889, she created the hull house. The Hull house was created to help female immigrants become assimilated to the American life style by helping get them a job, learn the language, and receive an education. So it was no surprise that in in 1915, Jane Addams wrote the life changing article Why Women Should Vote . Discuss whether or not the writer was a neutral party. If not, explain the opinions or interests that might have influenced what was written During the 1900 s women were under the idea of the cult of domesticity. This means that the women s place was in the home. They had jobs such as cooking, cleaning, and caring for the children. In the article Why Women should Vote , it is clear to see that Addams is biased and believes that women deserve the right to vote. However, unlike other persuasive article Addams article is different, she believes women should be able to vote but she doesn t bash the male population. She writes an article where she says not only why women should get the vote or why women should have the vote, but rather she talks about why women should vote and why it is the responsibility of women to vote. • 3. Colonoscopy Research Paper In the past two weeks, I ve had family death and family hospitalized which caused a great amount of stress on me. My grandfather s oldest brother died a month before his birthday, October 26th. It left a great deal of pain on my chest as I watched his grandchildren speak about him in ways I didn t know was possible. Shortly before his death, my grandfather was hospitalized. I became accustomed to him being hospitalized since it was something unordinary. I didn t expect this visit to be one of great length, but as usual with visits like these, I was mistaken. September 30th was a usual day. I came home from school, saw my grandparents and did my homework. Having little to no premonitions to what would become of that night; I was in for a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As someone who is concerned would do, my family and I asked multiple questions concerning the surgical process. Doctors explained that my grandfather would be having a colonoscopy. A colonoscopy is an exam used to detect changes or abnormalities in the large intestine. Through the explanation of this surgery, my grandfather was not too fond of the process. But for his health, it was necessary. After the surgery had taken place, his colon wasn t awake just yet because of the high dosage of morphine the surgeons administered to him. The awakening of the colon is a tedious process he went through. The nurses advised my grandmother and him that a liquid only diet would be the only nutrients he could receive. Being my grandfather, he became curious of the wires attached to him. This curiosity resulted in him wearing a nose tube that caused the liquid diet to terminate. A change this sudden made his body weaker each day. Family members visited him and noticed his true feelings weren t overtly displayed. My grandmother and mom became a little irritated with that he wouldn t share how he truly felt to the nurses and doctors. During this time, my grandmother started to come home during the day and a relative would stay until about six o clock until she returned. With my uncle being the main person to stay with my grandfather, he no longer could stay at the hospital. My uncle ended up in a car wreck which resulted in me staying Monday earlier this ... • 4. Mohammad s Creation Of A Trans Tribal State Mohammad s creation of a trans tribal state occurred during his population of Medina. After he was persecuted in Mecca, Mohammad sought refuge in Medina. After successfully gaining protection from its tribes Mohammad sought to make Medina a better place. Mohammad immediately planted crops, created employment, found water alternatives, and created a town center. After surpassing necessities Mohammad moved on to his ultimate goal a unified, religious state. Mohammad sought to make Medinaa monotheistic state in contrast to the rampant paganism. Those who lived in Medina and did not agree with Mohammad s ideals were either kicked out or ended up converting. The aim of the Constitution was to unify, this meant that non natives and immigrants would be considered equal in the eyes of the law. The term, believer, frequently used in the document was not exclusive to Muslims, the articles clarify that a protected believer could be from a different faith so long as they agree to the terms of the Constitution. It is important to note that some Muslim countries today would actually be in violation of the Constitution seeing as they do believe in a hierarchical social and legal system. The ideal state sought to eradicate Pagan practices from the land by bringing in other nations for a stronger monotheistic presence. Articles 29 40of the Constitution deal with the specifications for Jewish tribes, including protection and status. At first glance the extensive amount of articles seems unnecessary, but Khan points out that each article is specified to show the Jews equality in the eyes of Muhammad. Each article specified a different Jewish tribe, this showed Muhammad s acknowledgement of each unique tribe while also stating their equality in his eyes; each tribe s article is identical therefore no tribe is considered loftier than another. Article 28 states that all disagreements which cannot be settled between people will be answered by Allah and Muhammad. • 5. Summary Of The House Divided Speech Abraham Lincoln won the Republican nomination for Illinois Senate seat on June 16, 1858. Stephen Douglas would be his opponent in this battle to become the Senator. His nomination led to him delivering one of his most memorable speeches, the House Divided speech in which he precursors the looming Civil War. He starts the speech by addressing Mr. President and Gentlemen of the Convention , and states how it s been too long since a policy has been passed with the intentions of ending the slavery agitation . He keeps pulling on this and then states his opinion on the matter, in which he says he doesn t believe that the issue of slavery will be resolved until something tragic happens. I find it funny how Lincoln is able to predict this so well yet no one really seems to heed his warnings. That s when he hits them with the famous part of the speech, A house divided against itself cannot stand... , and what he means by this is that the country can t always be divided between slavery and free states. He says he doesn t expect the country to fall apart though, rather he expects it to either get rid of slavery all together or the whole country to embrace slavery. He then calls out the skeptics and reminds them about the Dred Scott v. Stanford case and The Kansas Nebraska act. Lincoln goes on to make the point that the Kansas Nebraska Act and Dred Scott reversed the constitutional authority to ban slavery in the territories. The next part of the speech Lincoln discusses the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Analysis Of The Stimulus Material Given I Saw A... From reading the stimulus material given I saw a relationship between the disappearance of language and technological advancements. In the Self Portrait Along the Borderline Between Mexico and the United States by Frida Khalo a painting that shows the differences between Mexico and America in the 1900s, there appears to be a difference of culture between America and Mexico. America is more modern, as Mexico is more classic. America s modernization is shown in the different factories in the background, and Mexico s classicism is shown through the ancient Mexican temple in the background. As stated in Vanishing Voices , written by Russ Rymer, As modern inventions like cars enters their world, the Seris tend to adapt their language rather than import Spanish words. Erica Barnett uses an abandoned car as a hothouse to grow mangroves to replenish an estuary (21). Rymer is stating that with new technologies, people need to adapt. I believe that not only do people need to adapt, but also governments need to be more accustomed to advances in technology. With the introduction of the Internet many governments need to change. This change would come through passing different laws which would censor the Internet and in doing so, limit freedom of speech, because this is widely controversial in the US. I began to look at why this is so controversial. According to Andrea Leadsom, a Conservative Member of Parliament for South Northamptonshire, the Internet should be censored for the kids. ... • 8. Olaudah Equiano Inhumanity When the British settlers arrived in America, in 1607, it was realized they did not have enough food or supplies necessary to survive. The settlers received help from the Native Americans and even though these people were essential for the survival of these foreigners, they were soon enslaved and killed. Many documents in American history have said every man is created equally, and mistreatment is not acceptable, but American actions throughout this time period do not reflect these ideas. These British natives had just been freed of the monarchy in their country, yet soon after their arrival, the settlers began to declare themselves the authority figures in America, leaving everyone else below them. Olaudah Equiano s The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano best exemplifies this idea through economic factors, the widely accepted inhumanity towards African Americans, and shows how documents written with these American ideals in mind only apply to the people of the same race and gender of whom these documents were written by. Even though he said all men are created equally, Jefferson owned slaves and had them working his plantation. • 9. Analysis Of The Poem The Ballad Of Jed Clampett Originally named The Muleskinners, The Hamilton County Bluegrass band was founded by a group of university students in Auckland in 1962.[9] For the young members, their first encounter with bluegrass would be the theme song The Ballad of Jed Clampett from the television show The Beverly Hillbillies. The show was one of the few American shows airing on New Zealand television at the time. The Flatt and Scruggs theme tune and Scruggs style banjo influenced player Paul Trenwith, who said that s how I wanted to learn banjo, and we found out there was a whole music genre that went with that, so we chased that up. The albums of the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band included typical bluegrass fare, recording covers of genre pioneers Bill Monroe and Flatt Scruggs. Their concert repertoire included covers of bluegrass standards such as Salty Dog Blues , Uncle Pen , Kentucky Waltz and Orange Blossom Special, a song for which they became known for.[13] These songs referenced rural life and locations, whether explicitly such as Kentucky Waltz or within the lyrics, referencing hunting or barn dances. In 1967, the band performed Reno and Smiley s Barefoot Nellie, a song with rural themes and humorous lyrics such as Nellie put on her Sunday dress Thought that it would look the best Made out of an old feed sack Cow feed wrote on the back [14] Adopting an American accent, the recording of Barefoot Nellie features high lonesome harmony and solos on the banjo, mandolin and fiddle, with band members displaying virtuosic mastery of their instruments. These covers featured on their albums amongst traditional songs and an assortment of their own original music, however much of their original music didn t emerge until their 1971 album For You. Most likely due to the obscurity of the albums at the time, there is little to no lyrical or musical information or description to be found regarding these original recordings. • 10. Exploratory Factor Analysis Essay The results indicated that the Cronbach alpha for climate for sexual harassment measure was well above 0.70 as recommended by Nunnally (1978) i.e. 0.934. The corrected item total correlation for all the items within the scale was positive and exceeded the value of 0.3 by a wide margin (Pallant, 2005). An examination of the scale s inter item correlation matrix indicated that the scale showed a moderate to strong positive correlation between all the items within the scale (Gliem Gliem, 2003). The result determined that all items within the scales were stable enough to assess the intended construct. Exploratory factor analysis was utilized to determine the construct validity using principle axis factoring with varimax rotation. For climate of sexual harassment, the value of Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) was .919 which is superb (Hutcheson Sofroniou, 1999, p 224 225) and the Bartlett test of sphericity was highly significant (p .001; df=55; Approx. Chi Square=2777.314) thus, supporting the factorability of the correlation matrix, proving that the factor analysis was appropriate (Table 4). • 11. Essay on Machiavelli’s The Prince and the Modern Executive The Prince and the Modern Executive Few question The Prince s place in the canon of western literature. That it marks a turning point in our collective history, the origin of the study of politics as a science (Pollock 43), is alone enough to warrant its classification as a Great Book. Its author, Niccolo Machiavelli, a contemporary of Copernicus, is generally accepted as an early contributor to the scientific revolution, because he looked at power and the nature of sovereignty through the eyes of a scientist, focused completely on the goal without regard for religion and morals and ethics. Machiavelli taught that the way princes actually do govern often differs substantially from than the way they ought to govern, according to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A corporation has its king and its barons, its courtiers and ambassadors, its loyalists and its dissident elements, its allies and its enemies. What is important to our application of his principles of statecraft to the business world is not the superficial differences but the underlying unity. Modern corporations that are successful and well managed do not necessarily operate in harmony with the personal morality of their employees and for the general good of their communities. Similarly, firms which pollute the environment or ask their employees to lie are not always forced into bankruptcy. The individualism and secularism that characterized the Italian Renaissance are dominant themes in Machiavelli s thinking. His use of historical examples throughout The Prince demonstrates an extensive knowledge of Greek and Roman history and is consistent with the new found love for antiquity of the Renaissance. Machiavelli was, in every sense of the word, a true renaissance man. He appears to be remarkably well educated, although limited finances probably prevented him from studying at a major university. As a result, the effect of humanist teachings, prevalent at most of the institutions of higher learning at the time, on Machiavelli was limited. Machiavelli s knowledge of specific details of politics is primarily the culmination of a life long career as a bureaucrat and diplomat. In The Prince, Machiavelli ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. Satire In Film There are many films of the 1990s that were considered revolutionary, whether it was because of their use of new technology for improved visuals, or the unconventional plotlines that were cutting edge and exciting for viewers. Scream, Pulp Fiction, and Fight Club are three films that changed the film industry in many ways, and they left such a lasting impression on their audiences that they are still considered classics today. Scream was one of the first films to use satire and black comedy to challenge the predictable and anticlimactic genre of horror. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Towards the end of the film, Randy calls out a typical horror film trick: Careful. This is the moment when the supposedly dead killer comes back to life, for one last scare, (Scream). This not only criticizes horror movies, but it also references the ways in which the media and news outlets will keep drawing viewers in with graphic or thrilling images and stories, even if the information is unimportant or irrelevant. This is representative of American culture in the 1990s because it was a time of questioning authority and thinking as an individual despite what tactics big businesses or newscasters used to draw in a bigger audience. This is also demonstrated by Gale Weathers character who, after witnessing various murders and nearly being murdered herself, immediately decides to broadcast the scene on the news in order to make it as a famous newscaster. Her character was intended to be a blatant criticism on how, particularly in the 90s but still today, media outlets thrive off of flashy or vulgar stories even if it means exploiting those involved. • 16. The Cherokee And Cherokee Culture The endeavor to keep Cherokee culture alive through works of pottery, woven baskets, paintings, beaded clothing, or other assorted items has always been a focus of the Cherokee people. Building One Fire is a compilation of Cherokee art showcasing the variety of mediums they express their creative styles through and illustrating the Cherokeeway of life. Throughout the years, the government of the United States has played a large part in this struggle, whether they are repressing their culture, acting as patrons to the Cherokee artists, or directly and indirectly influencing the Cherokee artists through legislation regarding the Cherokee Nation. The story of the relationship between the Cherokee and the government is clearly outlined in Art of The Cherokee, exploring how American views of the Cherokee culture have progressed over time, specifically in relation to Cherokee art. The relationship can be viewed in two parts. In the first part, the United States believed the best approach was to press assimilation onto the Cherokee people and suppress their culture. Both the government and citizens of the United States believed Cherokee land possessed more value than the Cherokee culture, and attempted to gain their land through devaluing the people and attacking their culture. • 17. Federal Funding And Private Investors specified in Proposition 1A. However, as time passes, the initial estimate is beginning to look like a low ball. The construction process has taken longer than expected up until this point, and that has many direct and indirect costs associated. Some of these include increased number of work hours, job site utilities, and equipment rentals (Cox). Because of this increase in price, the state of California has tried to match federal funding with private investors. This, however, has been a slow and uncertain process. Another overestimation on the side of the CAHSR is in train times. Cox argues that the CHSRA s anticipated average speeds are not being achieved anywhere in the world, even on the most advanced lines. He also states that the HSR would be unattractive to drivers in middle distance automobile markets because little or no door to door time savings would be achieved and costly local connections would often be required (rental cars or taxicabs). California lacks the extensive local transit infrastructure in the Central Valley that can be found in dense Asian and European areas; these smaller connecting systems are what make the high speed railso effective on other continents. Without them, it is a lengthier process for consumers to get to their end destination they have to use both the public transit and their own form of transportation. This could have a negative effect on ridership because consumers will forego the hassle of changing transportation methods and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, not all guns should be aloud and open to the public. In most cases assault weapons are used in mass shootings. In California it is illegal to own any gun with with an AK/AK15. People can even go there and pay tribute to the person the memorialis about. There are three sources that show the importance of memorials and why they should be built. Source A (Savage) states that memorials are important to some people of our nation. For example, in Source A (Savage), the author states that In this way the monumental core in Washington functions somewhat like a pilgrimage site, where communities of believers actually come together in the act of occupying a holy site, seeing a relic, reenacting a sacred event (Kirk Savage). • 20. The Deregulation Of Domestic Financial Sector Today, it is considered to be a common knowledge, that the deregulation of domestic financial sector and opening of capital account of the balance of payments played a major role in the recent economic crisis of 2007 08. Policies, that have been stated above can be put together and named as the liberalization of the capital account. Liberalization stands for lessening of government regulations and restrictions in the economy. It offers a certain sector of the economy an opportunity to compete internationally. However, there are a number of risks connected with liberalization, which will be discussed later in this paper. Thus, the question is as follows: is liberalization worth the risk, or a wise implementation of capital controls leads to potentially more positive outcomes for the global economy? Since late 1970 s and up until the Great Recession, the ultimate goal of many economies of the world was to move towards a fully opened capital account. In theory, this would allow a more efficient allocation of global financial resources: capital would flow from rich industrial economies into rising, yet poor developing countries where it would contribute to economic growth by increasing consumption and level of income. The amount of capital inflows in developing countries tripled from approximately $50 billion in 1987 1989 to $150 billion in 1995 19971. A number of animals inhabit this island, including iguanas, bats, barracudas, sea turtles, and countless species of birds. Except, there is one particular animal wreaking havoc on this dreamy island getaway. That animal the cheeky one that stole your cocktail is none other than the vervet monkey. On St. Kitts you will find troops of vervet monkeys with a bit of an alcohol problem. So much so that they have learned to steal alcohol from bars and unsuspecting tourists in order to become obnoxiously drunk. Results from Rough et al (2005) showed that increased temperature (lower viscosity), the regimes are reached faster because the binder is able to distribute more effectively in the mixture at a given shear rate which is in accordance with the work reported by Schaefer et al (1996). Mortality is a fact, but no one knows what happens afterwards. Some choose to believe in an afterlife, others believe death to be the end. Many artists and writers have tried to interpret death and restrict it to a picture or words. It can prove challenging as no one has experienced deathand lived to tell the tale. The narrator encounters personified death face to face, and begins spouting their opinions of him. They compare death to rest and sleep, degrading death s power. Next he declares death nothing but a slave to fate chance. As if all the insults did not suffice, the finishing blow comes when the narrator calls death a short sleep. In the High Court, civil work, divorce and family matters still remain, though there is a separate Family Court which was introduced in April 2014. I hope to control my anxiety while speaking in front of a group, since there might be a situation in my field that requires me to inform others of daily logs or protocols. It would be fulfilling to get others passionate about a subject that I favor and means a lot to me, as well as presentations are an expected process in future classes and need to be mastered. I think most people can identify with this movie, the fear of speaking out to others to convince them of your point. The fear of trying to prove a point to others that may have more knowledge on the subject or be able to refute it better. In reference to the movie it was about defending a personal honor, having the right to speak out and be equal with others. Debating requires excellent mastery of vocabulary, logic, and nerves. In a debate, you need to be poised and confident in order to get your point across effectively. Just like a regular speech. There are many speeches that have lifted hearts in dark times, gave hope in despair, inspired brave feats, gave courage to the weary, honored the dead, and changed the course of history. Without inspiring, passionate public speeches many people may not have had the fortitude to press on. That was the meaning behind that war. However, why do societies go to war, other than to fight for independence? Ever since the beginning of time war has been used as a means to invade another country and rid them of their resources. Whether it s a war or just invasion, it is still a means of bombarding a country or society without any rights. Regardless of the invasion and the reason being, the people of the country being invaded are affected and so are the veterans invading the country. Most people tend to ignore the internal struggles veterans face post war. The civilians of a war zoned country are also majorly affected in ways many people fail to see because of the lack of media coverage. Most veterans returning from a war struggle from post traumatic stress disorder, individuals in societies are blind to the fact that these people are mentally unstable because of the experience they go through. Most people will salute a veteranbecause in America it is proper to respect those who served the country. These people aren t aware that some of these individuals might not want to be reminded of their actions and some of them might not be entirely proud of what they did at war. The civilians are also very much ignored because no one cares about the amount of innocent lives taken every day. The negative impact war ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

For instance, Zeniba and Yubaba are twin sisters, yet they contrast so much in evil and good. Zeniba is good, while Yubaba is bad. Nonetheless, they do not stick to one personality as the mean Yubaba shows love and affection towards her child, and the good Zeniba curses Haku. This causes confusion in the audience and leaves them questioning who s good and who s evil. Also, No Face and the River spirit were both not good spirits in the beginning, but lo and behold, they turned out to be good at the end under their facade. Spirited Away leaves both good and evil spirits to coexist, as they create harmony and advocate peace.
