Henry Ford was an American industrialist and business magnate who founded the Ford Motor Company. He introduced the first moving assembly line for mass production of affordable automobiles. In the 1920s, Ford fell behind competitors by only offering the Model T in black. To boost sales, Ford introduced the Model A in 1927 which was produced in different styles. Ford was hugely successful and by 1929 had dealerships on six continents, producing a third of the world's automobiles.
