Henry Ford was an American inventor and engineer who founded the Ford Motor Company. He was born in 1863 on a farm near Dearborn, Michigan and was fascinated by how things worked from a young age. In 1896, Ford built his first gasoline-powered vehicle called the Quadricycle. This led him to found the Ford Motor Company in 1903. His Model T, introduced in 1908, was very successful due to its affordability, reliability, and ease of operation.
