Henry Ford was an American industrialist and founder of the Ford Motor Company, born in 1863 in Michigan and died in 1947. He is most known for introducing assembly line production to manufacture affordable automobiles for the masses with his Model T. Before 1918, Ford was a Republican but switched to the Democratic party after. He revolutionized manufacturing through efficient line production which made cars cheaper, faster to produce, and in higher volume. The Model T, first produced in 1908, was how Ford initially earned his wealth and fame as an innovator in the automotive industry.
