Staying cool is something we all strive to do when it is too hot, and vice versa when it is too cold.
Being to hot or too cold is an extreme nuisance in every day lives, but I d much rather be too cold than
too hot. It is quite simple to keep warm: either put on more layers of clothing or wrap yourself in a
blanket. To keep cool is another story; one could strip off layers of clothes until they are naked and
have no more layers to go, then they resort to a fan, which in turn is just blowing more hot air at them.
Coming to The Pennsylvania State University I was excited to learn, meet new people and have fun,

I honestly thought that this lesson was going to be taught to teach to the class. I spent countless hours
reading the information in the curriculum handbook and even collaborating with other teachers just to
understand the material properly. I was thoroughly surprised at how well the lesson was received and

symmetry and dividing crazy cakes evenly between two people by looking for smaller shapes within
the larger shape. The shapes of the cakes literally were crazy because they were not shaped like your
normal cake. There were many different angles and sides, because of this each student had to really sit
and visualize what other shapes were inside the cake. I feel that my instruction methods worked great
for this lesson. I followed the plan given to me by the curriculum book by talking about the activity
first then letting the students work together in groups to divide the cakes as best as possible. I thought
it would be beneficial to let students come up to the board and practice with dividing the cakes before
letting them work with their groups. I think that by allowing a few of them to show their initial

In order to understand the structure of a complex social network, three random graph models have
been used [10]. For an overall comparative study, the basic centrality measures, clustering coefficient,
average path length, and the degree distribution were studied for the original network model as well as

Closeness centrality of a node is the reciprocal of the sum of its distances to all other nodes. c.
CLUSTERING COEFFICIENT The degree to which nodes in a graph tend to cluster together in
tightly knit groups is given by the clustering coefficient. d. AVERAGE PATH LENGTH It is defined
as the average number of steps along the shortest paths for all possible pairs of network nodes. It is a
measure of the efficiency of information transfer on a network. Most real networks have a very short
average path length leading to the concept of a small world where each one is connected to the other
through a short path. e. DEGREE DISTRIBUTION The degree distribution of a network P(k) is
defined to be the fraction of nodes in the network with degree k. Degree distribution depicts the
difference in the degree of connectivity between all the nodes in a network. It gives the probability
distribution of the node degrees over the network. IV. EXPERIMENTAL SETUP In order to generate
the random graph models, the NetworkX module [11] present in Python3 has been used in Spyder
(Scientific Python Development Environment) in Windows10 64 bit Operating System, having an
Intel®Core™i3 5015U (2.10GHz) processor and a 4 GB RAM capacity. The Facebook dataset [12]
was present in the form of an edgelist. The dataset was read and its corresponding graph was

First Transit Job Analysis
I thought that I had found the job of my dreams, and possibly my career. A job where everything was
perfect and I progressed quickly, but an unexpected turn of events quickly proved me wrong. I went
from having an awesome office job to being unemployed; however, having to find a new start proved
to be more beneficial than I expected. My first job at First Transit was everything I wanted and more.
For starters, it was located in my home town of Church Point, and the pay was above average for the
area. The ideal nine to five schedule was also a plus. As a customer service representative I was doing
what I loved, helping people. I quickly moved up to a supervisor position which enabled me to travel.
I visited the different regions of Louisiana with covered expenses that included: hotel, food, and
