To combat these issues various steps need to be taken three different areas of reform. The first being
preparing prisoners for reentry into the community. Starting namely with keeping the prisoners with
longer sentences updated on relevant technology and social, political, and legal changes so they know
how to operate and function in a modern society upon release. Another essential part of preparing
offenders for reentry would be providing housing upon release for all those who are unable to afford
housing or do not have housing that does not violate probation requirements. Secondly, training

The education and training should take place during the incarceration period. Upon release the
offender shall receive housing if need be, a place of employment, and a probation officer who can

government but can be done on a system to system basis. It can be run by both hired and volunteered

whether we act strictly for the good of others without investing any self interest in what we do or do
we do what we desire most at the end of the day; however, we will find many of our daily interactions
including working, caring for another and just basic interactions are all done in self interest not in the
interest of the Other. According to Rosenstand (2013) Levinas explains the Other as a term seen in
philosophy about a person who is different from oneself; it is when one is facing something or
someone that one is fundamentally unfamiliar with. (Rosenstand, 2013, p. 82) He goes onto explain
that this stranger can be a person of a different sex or race or even someone who has different
experiences than oneself. Levinas sees the bottom line of all human existence as the encounter with

Advertisements are a huge part of our everyday lives. We see different types of ads everywhere we
look; while watching television, listening to the radio, riding on the bus and even walking around your
school campus. It seems like the whole world is being flooded by advertisements.
Advertising techniques have changed and along with it, the impact they have on each individual s
mind. While there are some similarities between the different kinds of advertisements we see today,
there are also many differences. Advertising has also become more unethical than it was in, let s say,
the 50s. Not all advertisements are brainless; there are a few that are even creative and fun and just
pull the target audience in by entertaining them while selling them a product.
The techniques companies use to sell their products have changed so much in the past 50 years. Every
company has to adapt to the changing times. An example of this is that in the 1950s, companies had to
find a way to appeal mostly to stay at home wives because they were the ones who were home all day
listening to the radio while doing chores or watching the commercials between their soaps. In the

Intro: Limestone is made from loose marine sediment (such as shells) that form into rock, but can also
come from dissolved calcium carbonate. When an acid is added to limestone it releases carbon
dioxide. This happens in a two step process. Step 1: CaCO3(s) 2HCl(aq) → CaCl2(aq) H2CO3(aq)
Step 2: H2CO3(aq) → CO2(g) H2O(l) The next reaction used is CaCl2(aq) (NH4)2SO4(aq) →

For my experience at the Logic concert, I initially felt bias because I spent 300 dollars on these tickets

Virtue ethics focuses on the benefits, or ethical personality, whereas deontology focuses on
responsibilities or guidelines. Utilitarianism focuses on the repercussions of activities. Virtue ethics is
also called agent based or personality ethics. When using the quality principles approach, one should
take the point of view that in living their lifestyle they should try growing quality in all that they do
(Boylan, Chapter 11, 2009). Utilitarianism is a way of consequentialism; significance that the ethical
worth of an activity is established by its results. Utilitarianism indicates that an activity is fairly right

Both paintings focus around the same subject, Mary receiveing the news that she will be carrying
Jesus by the Archangel Gabriel. Angelico s painting is a very large fresco. The painting is so large that
Mary and Gabriel are almost life size. In comparison, Campin s painting is a triptych that is small and
a portable oil painting. This portability brings us into a new era, where people want this type of art in
their homes versus only being able to view them in a church. The left panel allows us to see the donors

The first published book focused entirely on the authorship debate was The Philosophy of the Plays of
