Art is a beautiful construct and it has been seen as such and shall continue to be seen as such for
generations to come. History has seen a vast number of extremely talented Artists, and while art
may take new forms, its integrity shall remain unshifted. Two men in specific have contributed to
art and its history like no other; Leonardo Da Vinci and Raphael Sanzio da Urbino. Both of these
men, considered masters of their talents, have conceived some of the World s greatest artworks,
but it is here that I would like to specifically examine, compare, and contrast the ideals of both

My Learning Autobiography
Introduction
I was born and raised in Nigeria: a populous country with more than 250 ethnic groups. I speak
two languages: Yoruba and English. I attended St. Bernadette Primary School and Omolaja Sodipo
Memorial Anglican Secondary School where I lived until the spring of 2013 before I moved to the
United States. The education system in Nigeria is very different from the one in the United States.
But all the same, living in the United States has also provided me with opportunities to grow and
improve in my personal life. Further, into the paper, I will be discussing my formal, semi formal
and informal education experiences and most importantly, how I learned to be who I am today.
Formal Education
In Nigeria, I went to a private school both for my primary and secondary education. The school is
in my neighborhood, and it s not very big. My dad always drops me off at school by 7 am, but he
never picks me up after school, so I had to walk home from school every day. I learned in a
rather hard way to school. One class had almost 30 students or more with just one teacher, so the
teacher doesn t pay attention to all the students. In class every day, my teacher makes each student
read one paragraph from the book until everyone in the class has read. These helped me a lot in
learning how to read very well then.
Also in my primary and secondary school, I had different teachers for different subjects, and I

class, and abuse. The two main characters in the novels, Pecola Breedlove and Ruth Anne Bone
Boatwright are completely opposite in looks, but suffer from the same trauma as a child.
Throughout this analysis, I will show how similar and different Pecola and Bone are and how
each one affects different parts of how they view themselves. Last, I will explore why child abuse

Saul Kassin, a professor of psychology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York,
conducted an experiment relating to self justification within interrogators. In the experiment,
Kassin paired individuals who were either guilty or innocent of theft with interrogators who were
told as well if a person was innocent or guilty of theft. The combination of a person thinking they
are innocent and the interrogator thinking they guilty, resulted in the most amount of tension

He is trying to argue that because the scientists want to become rich and popular, their findings
must automatically be untrustworthy. This is fallacious logicin that the scientists intentions have no
influence on their findings weight. This is another case of Coleman s baseless premise.
The second flawed premise in the argument is that PHD students are more likely than not, part of
that single minded culture. In this case, Coleman is saying that all PHDs are of the same type,
their only aim is money and glory. Coleman uses hasty generalization and genetic fallacy to support
it, which are both faulty logics. First of all, hasty generalization can be observed as Coleman
reasons that because he got his PHD, all other PHDs must be like him, which follows that since
all PHDs he knows are single minded, all PHDs must also be single minded. This generalization in
itself is shaky since the sample group of students is far too small to be used as a generalization of
the whole population. Furthermore there is not enough evidence to support this generalization;
various important variables such as university attended, age and gender are not taken into account.

Entrepreneurship is often an overlooked trait that is deeply rooted in family values. An
entrepreneur is defined as a person who starts a business and is willing to risk loss in order to
make money (Merriam Webster). Not everyone is meant, or is willing, to be one, but most
successful entrepreneurs have a lot of their good habits originating from their childhoods.
Therefore, parents should give opportunities and promote entrepreneurship, if their child is one of
the few people cut out to be an entrepreneur.
Both of the people I interviewed, Hank Gray and Babe Hyett, were entrepreneurs. Hank Gray
was seeking a long term career when he was offered to buyout a machine shop from an older
man. After accepting the offer, Hank expected developed the company and eventually named it
Gray Machine and Welding. The business has not only provided a great career for him, but also
for his son who now manages the company. When I asked Hank what his family contributed to
his success, he said his father taught him how to work, be responsible, and be honest. These
traits he held true to and his business has grown over the years by word of mouth. Hank is a good
