DREAM COMMUNITY
VS
EXISTING COMMUNITY
GROUP 3
Dream Comunity
A dream community is defined as a
community where everyone’s basic
needs are met such as food,
clothing and shelter. These can
also include different leisure
activities and services for the
community, such as sports courts
or pools to name a few.
Dream Community

A dream community can only be fulfilled when both the
environment and its people work hand-in-hand to make ends meet
for every single resident to sustain their needs and wants.
To achieve one, the community must elect excellent leaders with
appropriate qualifications for office. They must also offer products
and services that are of great help to people and will sustain the
health, welfare and development of the people and the community
as a whole.
My dream community is just a simple community that is
quiet and peaceful and is surrounded by trees and plants.
A community that will meet all the needs of our family in
our daily life like food and water, clothes, education,
communication and transportation. And above all, my
dream community is a community where everyone is free
to do what they want as long as they don't do anything
bad. A community where people are free to express their
ideas and a community where there is equality.
In my dream community, I would like a physical environment
that is surrounded by different plants and trees. It adds beauty
and serenity to the community. I also want the houses to be
properly constructed and built so that the resident can live
safely. A gated village would be a perfect example. I also want
health services to be of great quality and of excellent
performance. Hospitals and health centers should
accommodate all demographics of citizens and their illnesses
and diseases. Products and services should also be affordable
and of great help to everyone.

My dream community is a nontoxic and loving community. A
community where everyone is respected, everyone is treated as a
friend. A community where there is no negativity, hatred and
disrespect towards each other. A community that provides, clean
water, fresh air and surrounded by many trees. A community
where children can run around without getting hurt. A
community with good connection for better communication.
Internet that is accessible to every citizen. A community that
provides good transportation that doesn’t harm our environment.
Where PWDs are prioritized and all is fair.
Dream Community
Upholding social values
Have a high civilization
Being a green community
Prioritizing equality and transparency
Availability of free public space
Upholding the rule of law
Emphasize social justice
High social participation
Transportation should accommodate and
give welfare to all, especially our PWDs,
pregnant women, students, and the like. They
should have proper maintenance to prevent
mishaps and accidents that can harm
commuters and travelers.
Dream Community
Communication systems should also be of
great quality. Wi-Fi should be accessible by
all citizens and more communication
systems and infrastructures should be built
to help its citizens interact with each other
clearly and properly.
Dream Community
Most importantly, neighbors should be
well-mannered and have pleasing
attitude. They should be kind,
welcoming and helpful to create
harmony amongst all.
Dream Community
Characteristics
Achieving one’s dream community is a priority in
community-building and improving relationships with
others. When we all work to create and achieve our
dream communities, we are making the lives of others
better by improving our policies, products, services and
surroundings. If we live in our dream communities,
there will be new hope for everyone and every single day
will be full of dreams, goals and ambitions.
Existing Community
An existing community is defined
as a sociological group that
shares one environment, which
includes individuals and families.
These communities are in
existence or currently flourishing
in a specific location or location
with particular services.
My Existing Community is as good as my dream
community. Our existing community provides
food, cloths, and even free medicines for senior
and children. My existing community also have the
cleanliness, peacefulness and even good neighbors
that helps needy people and knows how to
segregate and clean our community.
In our existing community,
there is a clean and safe
physical environment. It also
promotes social harmony and
actively involves everyone
especially at ball games. There
are lots of activities which are
conducted by our barangay
officials.
They also provide us understanding of local
health and environmental issues. They want us
to have clean surroundings that is why they told
us to segregate our wastes before they collect
the garbage. About health services, they also
provide us with free medicines for kids and
senior citizens.
THANK YOU!
