issues.
Three big advantages Webmaster Tools offers are:
1) Get Google’s view of your site and diagnose
problems
2) Discover link and query traffic
3) Share information about your website

3. Search engine optimization is the process of affecting the
visibility of a website or a web page in a search
engine’s search results. In general, the higher ranked a
website is on the search results page results, the more
visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users.
SEO is a internet marketing strategy that considers how
search engines work, what people search for, and
which search engines are preferred by their target
audience.

deep within the
site as possible.

your site including video, images, and news.

12. Tell Google to show your page with the www or
without, set a geographic target and select if
you want the images show up in Google’s
enhanced image search.

13. If a site is lucky enough to get an additional block of
links beneath its Google listing, these can be managed in
Google Webmaster Tools. You cannot tell Google what
pages to add, but you can tell Google not to show a
sitelink it has created.

14. Google Webmaster Tools will notify you if your
site becomes infected with malware. Google
can block your site if it becomes infected. If this
happens, you’ll need to have your site cleaned
and resubmitted to Google for their approval
through Google Webmaster Tools.

15. Google Webmaster Tools shows traffic for each
keyword separately and gives info about website
performance based on Google search queries.
However, it does not cover search results from
other search engines like Bing or Yahoo.
-Google Analytics shows total traffic for a website
regardless of what search engine and search terms
were used. It shows whatever search terms
brought up your site in the listings, many of which
may not be relevant.
