Global citizenship education aims to educate all people worldwide to a basic standard set by UNESCO. It promotes an international curriculum to prepare youth for a globalized world through knowledge of different cultures, critical thinking skills, and addressing issues like poverty and social justice. It also stimulates innovative teaching methods focused on global issues and developing learning communities.
