This document presents information about geothermal power plants. It discusses that geothermal power plants use heat from the Earth's core to generate electricity through various types of plants like single flash, double flash, and binary cycle plants. The key equipment in these plants includes production wells, turbines, generators, condensers, and injection wells. While geothermal energy is renewable and has low emissions, development is limited to specific hotspot locations and initial installation costs are high. Bangladesh has some geothermal potential areas that could be developed.
