Gentoo Coatings produces transparent, abrasion resistant, and hydrophobic coatings. The coatings are applied as a simple coating and provide excellent transparency while improving abrasion resistance and weatherability. Test results showed the Gentoo coating maintained its hydrophobic and transparent properties after abrasion testing and UV exposure. In contrast, commercial coatings flaked off and lost their properties during the same tests. The Gentoo coating also protected underlying substrates and maintained its flexible properties.
