INTRODUCTION
This class seeks to explain the numbers to secondschool students in order to try
an amusing way to teachand learn. To do so, it is important to have some objectives as
well as a class plan to achieve the goals. The main objective of this class is to explain
how the numbers are pronounced and how they are used when giving the age.
Furthermore, this plan is organized for teacher to structure the class in: warm up,
execution, mechanization and evaluation-homework. These steps are meant to teach
easilyand to make the class versatile and dynamic. To assure the vocabulary learningthe
teachers are going to use a small chart on the board in which there will be ten English
words that will be practice in terms of pronunciation and use. Finally, the students will
have to mechanize the grammar topic and to produce their own statements, to finishthe
class the students will have an evaluation point and homework.

Opening The teacher will start the class bygreeting the students and welcoming the
ones who arrive for the first time. Next, they are going to write the topic
of the class on the board “the Numbers” and they are going to continue
with the warm up.

Warm up Before starting, the teacher will put aposter (Appendix1) on the board with
the numbers sang in the song (Appendix2)forstudents to use (e.g. do you
know how to count? 1.2.3 etc.).

Explanation of
the topic
The teacher in charge will show and explain how to use the numbers to say
the age with the next flash cards in order for the students to learn it the
teacher is going to make the students pronounce the correct form of the
numbers several times by doing different actions for each number.

Activities Mechanization, the students will play (Tangara) (Appendix 3) a game
which will help them to settle down the grammar topic. The group will be
divided into two groups and two teacher will guide the activity in each
group.
Matching: the students will have to Match the numbers with their written
form in the board with the teacher, furthermore, they will have to
pronounce the numbers in order to check their articulation.

Ordering: the students will have to order the letter for each number in
order to check if they learnt the correct spelling.
Hangman: this is another game to catch students’ attention and to review
the number for the last time to permit the evaluation process.

Activity
In order to check students' understanding of the topic, the teacher willgive
them a short quiz (Appendix 4) in which they will have to look for the
correct written way. For the homework the teacher will ask students to
complete the worksheet (Appendix 5)

  • 3. INTRODUCTION This class seeks to explain the numbers to secondschool students in order to try an amusing way to teachand learn. To do so, it is important to have some objectives as well as a class plan to achieve the goals. The main objective of this class is to explain how the numbers are pronounced and how they are used when giving the age. Furthermore, this plan is organized for teacher to structure the class in: warm up, execution, mechanization and evaluation-homework. These steps are meant to teach easilyand to make the class versatile and dynamic. To assure the vocabulary learningthe teachers are going to use a small chart on the board in which there will be ten English words that will be practice in terms of pronunciation and use. Finally, the students will have to mechanize the grammar topic and to produce their own statements, to finishthe class the students will have an evaluation point and homework.

COMMUNICATIVE OBJECTIVE:  At the end of the class, students will be able to tell what their age is. GENERAL COMPETENCES  Linguistic  Communicative  Lexical PREVIOUS SEQUENCE “The greetings” TOPIC Numbers 0-10 Age
  • 5. STAGES DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY TIME (min) SKILLS MATERIAL Opening The teacher will start the class bygreeting the students and welcoming the ones who arrive for the first time. Next, they are going to write the topic of the class on the board “the Numbers” and they are going to continue with the warm up. 10 min  Speaking  Homework sheets  Board  Markers Warm up Before starting, the teacher will put aposter (Appendix1) on the board with the numbers sang in the song (Appendix2)forstudents to use (e.g. do you know how to count? 1.2.3 etc.). 15mi n  Speaking  Poster Explanation of the topic The teacher in charge will show and explain how to use the numbers to say the age with the next flash cards in order for the students to learn it the teacher is going to make the students pronounce the correct form of the numbers several times by doing different actions for each number. 15 min  Grammar Flash cards Foamy figures Activities Mechanization, the students will play (Tangara) (Appendix 3) a game which will help them to settle down the grammar topic. The group will be divided into two groups and two teacher will guide the activity in each group. Matching: the students will have to Match the numbers with their written form in the board with the teacher, furthermore, they will have to pronounce the numbers in order to check their articulation. 45 min  Listening  Tangara
  • 6. Ordering: the students will have to order the letter for each number in order to check if they learnt the correct spelling. Hangman: this is another game to catch students’ attention and to review the number for the last time to permit the evaluation process. Evaluation Activity In order to check students' understanding of the topic, the teacher willgive them a short quiz (Appendix 4) in which they will have to look for the correct written way. For the homework the teacher will ask students to complete the worksheet (Appendix 5) 15 min  Grammar  Quiz  Homework
