Free Diet Plan for Heart Patients
Diet plays a crucial role in management of heart diseases.
The diet plan from Just for Hearts includes high fiber, low fat and low calorie foods.
This diet plan also includes specific foods which help to burn extra fat and reduce cholesterol.
Time Meal Menu Quantity
7.00 am Early morning Warm water with4-5flakes of garlic 1 Glass
7.30 am Morning meal Green tea 1 Cup
9.00 am Breakfast Oats porridge 1 Bowl
11.00 am Mid morning Apple 1
1.30 pm Lunch Phulka with some greens

Thin Buttermilk 1 glass
4.30 pm Snacks Tea ( use skimmed milk) 1cup
8.30 pm Dinner Jowar Roti

Tips:
·Use at least 2 servings of fruits and 2 servings of vegetables daily.
·Use non-stick pans and use minimal quantity of oil for cooking.
·Avoid foods that are processed/ preserved.
·Mixture of oils helps to lower bad cholesterol and also reduses total cholesterol.
·Use garlic which helps reduce cholesterol.
·Exercise daily.
