What is a fraction
• In Maths, a fraction is used to represent the portion/part
of the whole thing.
• It represents the equal parts of the whole.
• A small or tiny part, amount, or proportion of something.

Proper Fractions
• Fractions whose numerators are less than the denominators
are called proper fractions. (Numerator < denominator)
