The medium I will work most in is graphic and print design
Rationale:
This year I have studied and covered most mediums I have made a music video, animation,
magazine front cover and film poster. Doing so I have developed so many skills in these different
areas of media for example how to do things such as how to import my media to the given
software for that project, cutting to the beat, how to add effects in photopea, how to draw in pixel
and many others. The project that i have worked on that is the most similar to my FMP would be in
the adventure project where one of our tasks was to make a film magazine, this was very helpful
as i can take from what i have learnt from that project and include it in my FMP.
Project Concept:
the concept for my FMP is to create a gender fluid fashion magazine that is inspired heavily by
vogue. the front cover will feature a male on the dressed in clothing pieces such as; a skirt, flares,
blouses, necklaces and earrings and other things that could be seen as feminine. I will include a
double page spread dedicated entirely to the gender fluid fashion movement. In this double page
spread there will be personal experiences from people and how they are now able to feel like they
can wear gender fluid fashion confidentley. The aim of this magazine is to have a positive effect on
people and to take gender out of fashion. To make this accurate and therefore enlightening to
people i need to research all about the gender fluid fashion movement and those involved. Some
places i will look at when researching about this will be websites such as the vogue website and
articles and interviews from a variety of magazines. This will help me when it comes to writing my
double page spread and enable me to ensure i have the most accurate and detailed information on
the subject.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
I plan to evaluate my work by doing detailed reflections at the end of the day on a seperate
powerpoint including screenshots and annotations of what i have done that certain day. At the end
when i have finished the whole project i will piece all this together and do one big evaluation of
how everything went and all my strengths and weaknesses etc.
