Essay On Superintendent
REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE
Introduction
Preparing teachers, principals and superintendents has been the responsibility of schools of education
across the United States. Once they have completed their preparation these educators must tackle the
challenge of educating America s youth. Education is still a major factor in the social, psychological,
and financial development of one individual; it determines the difference between a life fully lived and
a life only dreamed of while opportunity passes by. The role of the superintendent today serves many
roles; the main function of the position is leadership. The superintendent as the top executive of a
given school district, including a group of schools affiliated with the public school system. A direct
connection exists between the superintendent and the school board that he or she serves. A
superintendent reports to the local school board, typically a group of elected officials set to manage
and organize the schools in that particular geographical area. The main responsibility of the
superintendent is to make sure that the schools under his or her jurisdiction stay within budgetary
constraints and provide an effective learning community for all children within his or her district.
Under the directive of the school board the superintendent implements directives, manages the hiring
of teaching staff, and oversees disciplinary actions that deal with the student body as a whole. With the
school board the superintendent maps out the

Therefore, since independence, the main objective of Pakistan s foreign policy has been to protect its
territorial integrity against a possible attack from India to ensure national security from external
threats. An important aspect of Pakistan s foreign policy is that its relations with India mainly
determine its attitude towards the other nations. It has conjured up threat from India, and by constantly
harping on its fear of India; Pakistan has tried to win the sympathy of the superpowers. However, the
basic force behind Pakistan foreign policy is its security and survival, both economic and military.
However, the very nature of the state system breeds feelings of insecurity, distrust, suspicion, and fear.
This atmosphere produces a constant competition for power in which each state, to reduce its
insecurity, seeks to enhance its power relative to that of a possible foe. If a state perceives its
neighbour as a potential enemy, it tries to deter an attack or political coercion by becoming a little
stronger than its neighbour, or at least as strong. The neighbour, in turn, also fears attack or political
intimidation. It understands that its best interests lie in increasing its strength to forestall either
contingency or, if necessary, in winning a war, should matters go that far.
There was very strong perception among the Congress leaders that Pakistan is not economically viable
state and it could not survive. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad revealed that among others Sardar

Pride And Prejudice By Jane Austen Essay
Pride and Prejudice is a novel written by Jane Austen. It was first published in 1813. Ignoring the fact
that I have already read the book in high school, the novel tackles on very interesting issues, which
makes itself just as interesting for a book report. The story mainly revolves around Elizabeth Bennet
as she faces issues concerning manners, upbringings, education, morality, and marriage. The setting is
in England in the early 19th century, so the social norms found in the book are more accustomed to the
British Regency and strange to any other significant time periods . Before all else, there are several
sociological themes in this novel. Just to name a few: women and femininity, prejudice, and the most
notorious of them all, society and class. These themes heavily impact the story as it progresses from
the main character, Elizabeth Bennet, to more minor characters like Charlotte Lucas. Although it was
never directly mentioned, there are a few implications of why this novel was written. One of these
possibilities is the portrayal of Jane Bennet. She s literally the embodiment of a perfect girl. She s
gentle, patient, beautiful, optimistic, and the list goes on. Jane is the ideal woman in her society and
that s perhaps why Austen implemented her. Her character was mainly there to set up the conditions
for Elizabeth and Darcy to meet and had little presence throughout the story till the ending. Even in
that spotlight she had, Jane was primarily seen as the most desirable

Eukaryote and Prokaryote Bacterial Cells Differences
Abstract
This paper explores the functional anatomical differences between prokaryote and eukaryote bacterial
cells and the process by which substances move across the cell membranes. The cell theory is a widely
accepted explanation of the relationship between cells and living things. The cell theory states All
living things or organisms are made of cells and their products, new cells are created by old cells
dividing into two, and cells are basic building units of life (Tortora et al, 2002) Prokaryotes and
eukaryotes cells are chemically similar in their composition ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Its division is by binary fission. Prokaryotes have no histones, their DNA is not associated with
histones whereas, and the DNA of eukaryotes is consistently associated with these special
chromosomal proteins called histones and with no histone. Bacteria species are differentiated by
morphology, biochemical activities, source of energy and chemical composition. Bacteria comes in
great many sizes and several shapes. Most bacteria range from 0.2 to 2.0 um in diameter and from 2 to
8 um in length. Three basic cellular arrangement of bacteria shapes are coccus( spherical), bacillus
(rod shaped), and spiral(twisted), Only pleomorphic bacteria like rhizobium and corynebacterium can
assume varieties of shapes.
However, among the structures external to the prokaryotic cell wall are the glycocalyx, flagella, axial
filaments, fimbriae and pili. Many Capsules Prokaryotes secret on their surface a substance called
glycocalyx (meaning sugar coat), which surrounds the cell. This is referred to as capsule when it is
firmly attached to the cell wall. The presence of a capsule can be determined by negative staining. If
not organized or is loosely attached to the cell wall, the glycol calyx is serves described to be a slim
layer or extracellular polysaccharide. Capsules protect pathogens from phagocytosis and cell
adherence to surfaces thereby providing nutrients to the

Definition Of Democracy And Governance
According to M.P.Barbra, local government means authority to determine and to execute matters
within a restricted area inside and smaller than the whole state. Every state in the world has been
implementing local government system for the administrating services regarding peripheral society.
Local government and democracy is most closed concept in theory as well as practice. Term
democracy and governance are complicated and dynamic concepts in social sciences discipline. It has
a long historical background and goes back to human history. Ancient Athens politics and their
philosophy has provided main base for those concepts and practical perspectives.
There is no a concrete definition or interpretation about democracy or governance. Many scholars
have presented different kind of definitions and interpretations based on their own perspectives. But,
modern conceptual meaning of democracy and governance mainly depends on liberal democratic
principles such as equality, participation, freedom, liberty etc. Therefore, definition of democracy and
governance are depends on the social and political context of the society. Local democracy is the most
important aspect of the democratic governance, because it will give a holistic view of the nature of
democratic practices and governance of the whole society. Further, it will be reflected form the local
government and there governing process of the given country. On the other hand, governance,
administration, policy initiation process

paid a premium to secure.
Heritage buildings have higher capital growth than newer properties, as they are not competitors of
newer developments.
Most heritage listed homes should achieve an increase in value, provided they are well maintained.
Residents themselves consider a listed home to be of higher value, and want to see their homes and
other heritage homes preserved.
However, possible decreases in value as a result of development prohibition could also stem from
heritage legislation.
Any loss in value because of listing could be offset by grants from the government available

The Epic of Beowulf
Beowulf is the oldest anglo saxon poem written in English. The poem describes the heroic deeds of
Beowulf in his fight against monsters. Even if the events narrated in the poem take place in Denmark,
the poem was transmitted by oral language between the anglo saxon even 200 years after its creation.
Anglo saxons did not consider themselves british, but vikings, and their heroes were always from
Scandinavia.
The author of Beowulf is anonymous. The original poem was written on sheep tanned leather.
Beowulf is not only the story of a young man that gains glory against monsters or of an old king that
dies fighting a dragon, but it is the story of a brave man who, once young and invincible, chooses to
fight against the dragon though he knows that he s going to have a tragic end.
Beowulf meets all the features of an epic poem: it is a long narration of a national hero ( he is
recognized, rewarded and glorified by the king himself and his people), his travel on the sea, his
adventures and the heroic episodes he s the central figure in. Moreover, the main protagonist,
Beowulf, is a brave young man, like Gilgamesh, Achilles or Hercules, with more than human strength
and wiser, more courageous than others. Unlike the other epic heroes we have studied untill now,
Beowulf is giving us a detailed self description when he meets the king : In my youth I have done
many glorious deed.
The episodes of the poem are moving ahead step by step; this literary procedure is called

Heading For The Exit. Dropped passes by Josh Doctson and Terrelle Pryor have been a huge

A nervous and upset Cousins looked on as the Chiefs marched on inexorably to the game winning
field goal. Problems with the Redskins receiving corps has been a sore point with Kurt Cousins since
the team reported to Redskins Park for the start of the 2017 season. Cousins had a deep connection
with receivers deshawn Johanson and piere garsone over course of his young career. When healthy,
the trio has combined for some spectacular performances. Washington chose not to retain their
services this year and Cousins was forced to rely on two new and unproven receivers. Terrelle Pryor
was acquired in the offseason. Pryor, a former quarterback had one decent year for the Cleveland
Browns in 2016, with 77 receptions and 1,007 yards. He has yet to make the full transition to wide out
and has a horrible penchant for dropping passes. He shows some reluctance to go over the middle and
tends to short arm balls. Players have a nickname for receivers who exhibit this trait, alligator arms.
Not exactly a compliment. Pryor has demonstrated this irritating habit numerous times this season. He
dropped a sure touchdown pass against the Eagles in week one, perhaps coasting the Redskins a
victory. The other receiver who has yet to live up to his potential is Josh Doctson last year s number

How Does Stephen Crane Use Irony In A Mystery Of Heroism
If one is a fan of irony, then Stephen Crane s work is worth the read. He uses irony for real life

they usually stayed home as housewives where they would cook, clean, and sew clothes for the

Commentary on: Pecan market is a crackin
In the last few years the economic growth of China has caused the demand (and supply) of all kinds of

The Globe and Mail October 18th 2010.
Demand and supply are the quantity of a good or service that consumers and producers are willing
able to purchase and produce at a given price in a given time period. Equilibrium is a state of rest, self

quantity supplied. Price elasticity of demand (PED) is the responsiveness of demand in change of

This sends a signal to suppliers to increase price until a new equilibrium is reached at price P1 and
quantity demanded Q1.
However, instead of keeping the price at P1, the suppliers will rather shift the supply curve to the right
by exporting more pecans because the Chinese demand is greater than the demand North American
demand and they can make more profit by allocating resources to China instead. Here we assume that
PE is greater than North American price of pecans.
This causes a positive shift in supply for China, from SC to SC1. Now, at price P1, Q1 pecans is
demanded, but Q2 is supplied, so we have excess supply. Suppliers have to decrease the price until
equilibrium is reached at price PE again and quantity supplied is 100 million pounds.

Personality and the Five Factor Theory Essay
PSYC Essay To understand personality there are three main aspects that must be looked at: LArsen
and Buss Definition of personality, The Six Domains of knowledge of personality, and Costa and
McCrae s Five Factor Theory. In this essay I will first break down larsen and Buss definition and
connect it to the domains, then connect the domains to the five factor thoery (FFT). Larsen and Buss
define personality as the set of psychological traits and mechanisms within the individual that are
organized and relitivly enduring and that influence his or her interactions with, and adaptations to, the
environment (including the intrapsychic, physical and social environment). To fully understand this
defintion, it is best to break it down into ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His research show that when hostile people bump into others they treat ambiguous behavior as hostile.
When they act aggressive, it evokes agression in the other person, making the aggression a self
fufiling prophecy. So if a person from the outside environment acts hostile towards us, it evokes that
same hostility from us. The third main interaction people have with the environment is manipulation
of the environment and those within it. Manipulation does not have to have a negative connatation
with it, but usually does. Types of manipulation include: coersion, charm, regression and reason.
Different personality types are more likley to use differnt kinds of manipulation, such as people low
on agreeableness are more likely to use coersion by yelling, while people high on agreeableness will
use reason to get people to do what they want. The final part of the definition is the adaptations (to the
environment) like dealing with the challenges and problems we face throughout life. One way to
examine this is through the cognitive experintial domian and the concept of goals and personal
projects. Personal projects are a set of relevent actions intended to achieve a goal that a person has

personality because they reflect how people navigate through everyday life. As we go through life,

The Safety Of The Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International...
Abstract
This paper will discuss the many different processes and procedures that play into the overall safety of
the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL). There are countless facets and aspects
when it comes to airport operations. The safety aspect is no different. Airports must keep a positive
representation in the media and keeping all areas as safe as possible is paramount. The overall safety
operations of an airport would simply be too much try convey so instead, this research paper focuses
on a large subsection KATL safety known as ramp operations. It follows along and details different
aspects of the Ramp Safety Standards Manual created by the Department of Aviation for the city of
Atlanta. In doing so, the paper provides a clear view of how ramp operations at KATL relate to system
safety.
System Safety of Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport Ramp Operations
Introduction
Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport has been deemed the busiest airport in the world for
the past 17 years straight (Mutzabaugh, 2015). One huge aspect of having such consistent success over
the years has been the airport s ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment. This is
particularly important on the airside of the airport where aircrafts are continually turning, burning, and
finding their place among the many gates of the terminal. More specifically, the ramp at KATL is a
complex stretch of concrete where aircraft, flight

Thomas Jefferson Servant Leadership Examples
Introduction
Servant Leadership is a leadership style that primarily focuses on the people side of leadership. It was
developed by Robert Greenleaf in the early 1970s.
Servant leadership theory s emphasis on service to others and recognition that the role of organizations
is to create people who can build a better tomorrow resonates with scholars and practitioners who are
responding to the growing perceptions that corporate leaders have become selfish and who are seeking
a viable leadership theory to help resolve the challenges of the twenty first century (Parris Peachey,
2013, p 378).
President Thomas Jefferson, was a person whose words represented the qualities of servant leadership;
before, during, and after his terms in office. While ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are times that I have experienced with a few servant leaders, where they can get so caught up in
helping staff that they get too distracted by trying to be helpful. I have also witnessed that a couple of
servant leaders have been taken advantage of, due to their overwhelming desire to help that they don t
see that the employee is playing them and using their kindness as a way to get out of doing the
necessary tasks. My mentor, who is a servant leader herself, often gets yelled at by Sr. Leadership for
appearing to be unfocused, when in fact she is not, she is just trying to make sure that everyone gets
the information/assistance they need to the fullest extent. I have found that it is advantageous, if the
servant leader takes extra effort to be clear, concise, and consistent in their communications to avoid
appearing distracted by other servant leadership goals/priorities.
There are many advantages to practicing servant leadership to be experienced by all stakeholders. A
balance is required of either incorporating other styles when the situation calls for them or there
should be a good mixture of leadership styles among the leaders within the organization. This blend of
leadership styles allows for all levels of employees to feel they play an important role in the success of
the organization while continually

Man Has Brought The Application Of Property Law Essay
Extending further than the span of written history, man has brought the application of property law to
his fellow man for some form of economical or social gain. In the period predating the mid 18th
century, most people had a natural acceptance of the racial nature of using black people as slaves. To
inhabitants of Europe, as well as settlers in the New World, the mere notion of being black was
immediately allied with droves of negative associations, it connotated heathenism, paganism, and
connections with the Devil . By 1750, slavery was widely accepted, and at that point in time, abolition
was not something anyone was largely concerned with. Europeans thought of the enslavement of
Africans as necessary as they began to colonize the New World, and required labourers to successfully
do so. Resultantly, European nations, not unlike Great Britain, began to approach African kings and
chiefs with the aim of purchasing African men and women. The future slaves were marched to the
coastal regions of Africa and sold to then be transported via ships to their new place of residence. The
mid 18th century represented a turning point for some morally inclined people, and slowly the
negative connotations of another race turned to feelings of empathy for the people who had suffered
such cruelty and injustice. The period from 1805 to 1807 saw the end of British involvement in the
slave trade, this action arose from the Enlightenment ideals of the 18th century, the work of religious

Discussion of State Sovereignty and Globalization
This paper aims to discuss the rather amorphous concepts of state sovereignty and Globalization and
how the notion of sovereignty has been diluted over the years by this phenomenon of globalization. To
narrow down the analysis this paper will consider the dilution of sovereignty under the light of a
primary force of globalization; Transnational Corporations. With the birth of the state, the concept of
sovereignty originated. This included both internal and external sovereignty; however, the latter was
recognized much later after the end of the Thirty Years War and the signing of the Treaty of
Westphalia. Internal Sovereignty was defined as the ability to exercise control and authority within the
territorial boundaries of the state. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

A comprehensive program for social uplift of the Guatemalan people was charted out. Its major focus

however, arose when the Arbenz government decided to implement agrarian reforms in the country. It
was aimed at buying and redistributing unused land to

Yeah, I m jealous of him so I pushed him to think he hurts his ankle, I know I did wrong, but I just felt
that he was so cocky, I didn t say sorry. I didn t want to say sorry. After that I feel awkward, but I
thought he could just think joke or will be fine, but I could feel he doesn t like me anymore he treat me
like trash, I didn t know what did I do, I just pushed him but I really don t understand why he is acting
like a girl and what s wrong with him. He didn t talk to me in the school, he didn t even try to face me
he didn t answer my text or call. I was so frustrating. One day I held his arm and said What is wrong
with you and he said, not your business and you really don t know? after that time I was so sad and
angry. But I hope at least our friendships will be recovered, but that was my stupid imaginary. He
started playing with other friends but not me. And when I see his laughing face I was so mad I don t
know why, but I think I jealous because he was playing and having fun with other friends, not me. I
asked him a lot let s go gym or do you want to play game he said I m busy but I saw he was hanging
out with other friends because he just posted pictures on Instagram. My hope was just broken. Now I

Understanding How Fallacies, Critical Thinking and...
How it all comes together 1
Understanding how fallacies, critical thinking and decision making techniques are all linked together.
What is a logical fallacy? According to the Webster dictionary (1996), a fallacy is a false notion. A
statement or argument based on a false or invalid inference. Fallacies can be divided into two different
groups; the first one is the fallacy of relevance where the premises are irrelevant to the outcome. The
other is fallacy of insufficient evidence, where the premises may be relevant to the outcome but does
not have enough evidence to support that outcome. Relevance can be described in three different
categories; 1. It can be positively relevant where it supports a certain statement. 2. It can ... Show

During these discussions, once you voice your opinion, fallacies in reasoning come out (Mckenzie,
1992).
A critical thinker is also a human being and somewhat a risk taker, when discussions come up, a
thinker always tend to voice own opinions depending on their own personal beliefs, these beliefs will
then determine what logically fallacies the conversation will fall into. A critical thinker should also
have the ability to reason correctly and try to identify any reasoning that are fallacies, this is why it is
so important to know and understand the different fallacies that will interrupt the four components of
critical thinking.
How it all comes together 4 Using the six stages of decision making is a helpful tool to understand and
overcome the fallacies of thinking.
1. Identifying and diagnosing the problem first one must recognize there is a problem and decides that
it needs to be solved and then be willing to do something about it.
2. Generating alternative solutions this is where the problem is being linked to alternative course of
actions.
3. Evaluating alternatives rank the alternatives.
4. Making a choice by using maximizing (best outcome), satisfying (acceptable), and optimizing (best
balanced).
5. Implement the decision carry out the choice you have made.
6. Evaluate the decision collect data of how well the choice you made worked (Bateman, 2003).

Social And Social Changes In Japan During The Tokugawa Period
Firstly, Japan s political structure was transformed to really large extent during the Meiji era as it
brought about changes such as in the manner of governing the people, parliament structure as well as
the reform in policies that the Japanese were forced to sign with the Western powers such as the
United States of America and Great Britain. During the Tokugawa period the Emperor Meiji limited
the power of the samurai removing exclusive rights such as their right to punish commoners and he
also removed their right to be the only armed force in Japan, in favour of westernized military with
several different armed sections. In addition, the Emperor sent scholars to Britain, France and
Germany to study their parliament as well as study the way these Western nations operated.
Eventually the Emperor appointed Ito Hirobumi to select an adequate constitution for the new empire

Ideology behind the Film Spirited Away
Ideology is attitudes, beliefs, perceptions that commonly shared by the people in society. It is mostly
unconscious and it appears in everyday human s daily lives. Cinema is one of the medium that people
can be exposed. Therefore the ideology in film takes a powerful role that shapes aspects of people s
beliefs. When it comes to a film, people who watch the film receive a message from it whether that
message is explicit or not. Ideology can be most receptive and powerful when it is exposed to the
audience when they are enjoying the film and are unaware of it (Edgar Hunt, Marland and Rawle 96).
In Spirited Away, the movie sends out many aspects of ideology in Japanese society. This essay is
going to be focusing on two particular aspects which are Shinto beliefs and human versus nature.
In Asian culture, people usually give priority to the religion. Shinto was the state religion of Japan in
the past. Shinto means Kami Way in Japanese. Kami is term to describe sacred spirits, or something
that possesses superior power (Earheart 6). Japanese people believe that there are spirits in everything.
All beings can be called Kami such as river, woods, or even human beings (Ono and Woodard 6).
Japan has been called a land of Kami. They regard Kami as an object of worship in Shinto religion.
Throughout the film, it can be seen that many elements of Shinto aspect is subtly embed. Just the
name of this movie Spirited Away tells a lot about the beliefs of Japanese toward the supernatural

In 1996 Norman Adsetts became the chairman of STT and took over the role of the Councillor. He
held crisis meetings and a recovery plan was agreed, which involved drastic cost cutting. Because of
the cost cutting the quality of the productions became worse and the reputation of the Crucible began
to fall, which resulted in even lower attendances. Sir Adsetss came up with a new business plan over a
period of 3 years to make the complex more profitable. The main point of the plan was to invest in
high quality and high profile productions which would attract sustainable audiences. The plan
included an increase of attendee researches, new ticketing pricing strategies, quality increases of the
casts and to offer an ambitious artistic team. Moreover, commercial activities were increased. The
result of the new business plan was that in March 2002 the company recorded five years with

Asymmetrical Balance
The black and white photograph captured by Jose Miguel Martinez incites a range of sentiments to the
audience with its landscape of the seashore at nightfall. A pile of rocks and a tattered brick wall are in
the foreground, the sea and cliffs are in the middle ground, then the remote sailboat, distant land, and
the moonlit sky are in the background. This photograph impressively demonstrates the uses of
balance, utility, and variety in its composition. Balance is achieved asymmetrically by the raw and
unintended placement of the mountains, brick wall, the sea and land. The composition also has a great
balance with the use of positive and negative space. Because of the asymmetrical balance, the

Heart Attacks Or Myocardial Infarctions
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) every year about 735,000 Americans have a heart
attack. Of these, 525,000 are a first heart attack and 210,000 happen in people who have already had a
heart attack (CDC, 2015). Heart attacks or myocardial infarctions (MI) can be fatal if appropriate steps
and protocols are not followed soon after the onset. It requires critical thinking by nurses and the
health care team to reduce the damage to the heart and prevent death. Every year 425,000 people in
the United States die from a MI (Ignatavicius Workman, p. 831, 2013). Key nursing interventions, and
implications will be emphasized as well as common complications that may occur. Pathophysiology
Myocardial infarction is defined as irreversible necrosis of myocardial tissue as a result of inadequate
blood flow for a critical period of time. (Duksta Younker, 2012). A MI occurs when cardiac tissue is
suddenly deprived of oxygen. Most MIs are the result of atherosclerosis of a coronary artery, rupture
of the plaque, subsequent thrombosis, and occlusion of blood flow (Ignatavicius Workman, p. 829,
2013). When there is a blood flow reduction in the heart of 80% to 90%, ischemia occurs, which can
be followed by necrosis of cardiac tissue if blood flow is not reestablished. A MI is further broken
down by the American College of Cardiology, there is the non ST elevation MI (NSTEMI) and the ST

Female Marginality In The Catholic Church
As the society continues to strive for gender equality within the work force, there is neglect in one
specific component of culture: religion. Female marginality is very much prominent in the Catholic
Church. As women around the world strive to create a greater voice in corporation, there should also
be goals toward a greater feminine voice in Catholicism. Understanding female role in Catholicism
and analyzing prominent females in Catholicism enables women of the future to develop a greater
influence in the church. Women should seek for female advocacy in the Catholic Church by
examining female roles in Catholicism, exceptional women in Catholicism, and traditions of
Catholicism.
Understanding the definition of female marginality is important before being able to apply it to the
Catholic Church. Female marginality is defined as females who hold limited options or opinions on
any matter. Traditionally, women were defined as the caretaker of the household and children, limiting
women to domesticated duties while men held superiority in the work force. In the past, men

Aristotle s Views On Human Happiness
2 PURPOSE OF HAPPINESS
For Aristotle, happiness was related to a natural function. He argued that if we as human fulfilled our
natural function/purpose then we will be able to be happy and want for nothing at all (page 91).
Aristotle believed that human happiness refers to the function most proper to the human should and
essentially the function must be exclusive to human. He argues that this supposed function is a
practical aspect of life that comes from the rational part within humans. The use of the term practical
suggests that there is a predetermined conduct which comes as a result of having rational capabilities.
This ultimate good of an individual should stem from this and therefore naturally flow from
performing your function to a high standard. In order to attain true happiness, this must be repeated
throughout one s life. Aristotle s view can be considered to be flawed as he says that only human
beings can fully use reason or be described truly happy as happiness derives from reasoning. He
argues that the distinction between human beings and animals is due to human capability to perform
certain actions that only human beings can perform due to having reason. However, in the instance of
a young child who is not yet able to reason, Aristotle s statements are highly problematic. Can we
really say that it is incapable for a child to experience true happiness? Admittedly they may not
experience happiness in a similar way but, nevertheless one could argue that it is

Sequence Matching And Pattern Matching
INTRODUCTION : Pattern matching is a programming language method which is considered as
important in functional programming. It is uses STRING MATCHING and PATTERN
RECOGNITION. The main job of pattern matching is to check and decompose data. The object
oriented programming languages do not have any particular method for this decomposition of data. So
the Object oriented programmers are in need for a solutions for this problem of decomposition .For
that problem as a solution a built in pattern matching construct is introduced which is compatible with
object oriented programming is proposed. And the data is to be defined separately for the operation on
data to make matching useful. Pattern matching is presented in two ways, ... Show more content on

If the given input pattern matches , the pattern variables are bound to corresponding parts in the input

design is a method and style for software system development that amounts to encapsulating data and
operations in abstractions. This method produces some abstractions that are usually implemented in an
object oriented programming language, which supports the object oriented style through its syntax and
semantics. It does so by providing an object model and by offering built in methods for object
construction, method calls, field access and deletion of objects. Classifying abstractions and taking
them apart into their subcomponents is not a built in construct of object oriented programming
languages.
Pattern matching will offer: Not only Readability and security, a high level method for pattern

are mentioned above is that the standard compilers can not check hand written case distinctions are

Misconceptions Of Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine and therapy has become a rapidly increasing interest among today s people due to it s
supposed lack of harmful side effects and affordability. They often do a small bit of research and self
prescribe herbal remedies. In doing so however could lead to dangerous and terrible adverse affects.
To combat the misconceptions of herbal medicines, I have done research on the topic. In this essay, I
will describe what herbal medicine is, explore its history and origins, delve deeper into herbal
medicines and remedies used in the widely know concept traditional Chinese medicine, and discuss
the functions and control of modern herbal medicines. The word herb originated from the Latin word
herba, which refers to the green crops and grasses (Koopsen Young, 2009, p.280). The term 塗
erbalism” means 鍍he study and practice of using plant material for food, medicine, and health
promotion” (Koopsen Young, 2009, p.280). This definition of herbalism also refers to the use of
herbs to enhance the quality of life, both physically and spiritually (Koopsen, Young, 2009, p.280).
Herbal and botanical products, and phytomedicines are products made from botanicals used to treat
disease and maintain health while herbal supplements are made from plants and are used solely for
internal use (Herbal medicine, n.d.).The use of herbs for medical purposes goes back thousands of
millennia. There is evidence in an ancient Neanderthal burial from 60,000 years of herbs used for

Mythology And Its Impact On Society
Mythology has and always will play a huge role in a people s life. It is human nature to ask questions
and want answers. This is where mythology comes in and gives people that answers. Mythology also
can take form in religion which has been practiced over 300,000 years ago (Wise Geek, 2014). Belief,
and knowledge that a person has, has a huge impact the choices and beliefs of mythology and religion.
Even in the contemporary culture of today mythology still plays a huge role in.
Myths are a way that humans can explain the impossible or the unexplainable. Callisto and Ursa
Major is a myth that was used in the past to explain the stars and the constellations. Myths also help
people through life by giving them hope, something to believe in, or my inspiring them. An example
of a doctor telling a very sick patient that it is possible to get better or that a cure will soon be found
for their illness. Myths can be used to explain the origin of life and many other things. The bible for
example explains how lives begin on Earth.
One of the most common mythological themes across the different cultures, and throughout history is
origin of people and who created people also known as religion. The earliest evidence of religion was
300,000 years ago. It was speculated that a ritual burial site that was found from 300,000 years ago
was due to religion (Wise Geek, 2014). Two of the oldest religions are Shamanism, and Animism.
Some of the oldest religions are still practiced today.

Essay On Mammography
Mammography can still be performed with breast implants in place. Mammography technicians are
trained to use specialized techniques for women with breast implants that help to image the breast
tissue around the curved surface of the implants. Be sure to let the mammography provider know that
you have breast implants when you schedule your mammogram.
It is not possible to obtain a mammogram by imaging through the implants, only around them. Breast
implants therefore potentially do reduce a radiologist s ability to visualize breast tissue completely.
This is more of a concern with implants placed immediately behind the breast ( sub mammary , aka
sub glandular position), so for that reason the sub pectoral position is strongly preferred.
There is no conclusive evidence which shows that women with breast implants are diagnosed with
breast cancer at a later stage than women without implants which one would expect if breast implants
actually delayed the detection of breast cancer. Likewise, women with breast implants do not appear to
have a higher mortality rate from breast cancer compared to women without breast implants. Breast
implants do not obscure or interfere with patient self examination or physician breast examination,
which are at least as important as (if not more important than) mammography for breast cancer
screening. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Cherry Orchard and the Rise of Bolshevism Essay
The Cherry Orchard and the Rise of Bolshevism
Anton Chekhov uses The Cherry Orchard, to openly present the decline of an aristocratic Russian
family as a microcosm of the rapid decline of the old Russia at the end of the nineteenth century but
also provides an ominous foreshadowing of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution in the disparate ideals of
his characters, Trofimov and Lopakhin, however unintentionally. The Gayev family and their plight is
intended as a symbolic microcosm of the fall of the aristocracy in society at large. Though the
merchant Lopakhin is presented as the character who holds values of the new, post aristocratic age, the
student Trofimov espouses the political sentiments that will ultimately replace both the ... Show more

The most prominent of these symbols is the sound of a snapped string that occurs twice in the play.
That this symbolizes the end of the Russian aristocracy is obvious; after all, it is the one unrealistic
device in the largely realistic Cherry Orchard. Also, the elderly servant Firs informs everyone that
similar sounds were heard when the serfs were emancipated in the previous social upheaval.
Characters reactions to the sound in Act II are telling. True to his being the archetypal modern man,
the merchant Lopakhin is unfazed. The sound comes from somewhere very far away (804), he says.
Since he is naturally destined for the new Russia, recognizing the sound is not important for him; he is
already living in the new age.
The symbolism of the string snapping is even more clear at the end of Act IV, when old Firs is left
alone to die. The stage directions state that, after the sound of a snapped string dying mournfully away
is heard, [a] stillness falls, and nothing is heard but the thud of an ax on a tree far away in the orchard
(815). With the orchard (the status of aristocracy) in the hands of Lopakhin (the new commercial
class), the old days are forever gone. All that is left to hear is the destruction of the orchard as the new
class builds its world from the remains of the old. However, in 1917, the Bolsheviks would succeed in
altering Russia in a more lasting way, and this small revolution would be subsumed by Communism.

Lawrence Lessig Net Neutrality
On December 30, 2015, Lawrence Lessig, Professor of Law and Ethics at Harvard University, who
had announced his candidacy for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination the previous month,
told the Wall Street Journal that, ...When push comes to shove, if certain services are not available to
you because of privacy restrictions, you back out of restrictions...Where I can protect privacy at very
low cost, people will want to protect privacy (The CIO Report RSS). Lessig was referring to the
controversial concept of net neutrality, which is essentially the idea that ISPs, or Internet service
providers, should allow the public to access any amount of content on the Internet the same way,
which is what currently the case, but some parties have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many individuals still believe in the progressive ideals that the Internet was founded upon, and want
to see that it continues to be a place for innovation, where information is free and available. They don
t want large corporations having very strict control over that. Only a few days ago, the House of
Representatives passed a bill in an attempt to limit the FCC s authority on net neutrality. The debate
on net neutrality is far from over, and no one knows how the Internet will operate a decade from now.
One thing is clear, however: the American people have a huge influence on what will ultimately
happen, so if they want to maintain the privacy and freedom that they desire, they need to continue to
make their voices

Gun Control Under Control Essay
Gun Control Under Control
Whenever a shooting happens, such Columbine, the Aurora Theater Shooting, or the Navy Yard
shooting, the question of gun control comes up in politics again. Then after a month or two, the topic
is dropped, until yet another shooting happens. When is this nation going to finally make a change?
America needs to put more emphasis on making certain potential criminals and the clinically insane
do not have access to such dangerous weapons. What about the little boy who found his parent s gun
in his parent s bedside drawer and accidentally shot himself? Should there not be laws to protect him?
The answer is yes. The government needs to take guns out of the hands of criminals and children and
into the hands of people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The idea of redesigning guns is considered more with public safety due to the larger numbers of gun
related deaths (Now 3). What is so hard about making guns safer? If people are not willing to make
guns safer, which is obviously the case, then there should be gun controls. . Imagine how many of
these accidental deaths could be prevented if guns can be kept out of the hands of children and the
careless.
According to the NCIPC In 1994, there were 38,505 firearm related deaths. These included: more than
17,800 homicides; more than 18,700 suicides; more than 1,300 unintentional, firearms related deaths
related to firearms (Facts 1). Some of the worst crimes are committed with guns. For example, the
shooting at Columbine which Americans heard about on the news in 1999. Two teenagers shot and
killed twelve students and one teacher at their own school (Facts 1). The boys were later thought to be
mentally ill, as with many of the people who commit shooting such as this. Could this have been
prevented through gun laws that require stricter background checks and better mental health check
ups? In an article by Craig R Whitney, he quotes LaPierre from NBC, We have a mental health system
in this country that has completely and totally collapsed. We have no national database of these
lunatics (Whitney 1). So many suicides and homicides could be prevented with government mandated

Mrs. Linde as a Foil for Nora in in Ibsen s A Doll s...
Mrs. Linde as a Foil for Nora in A Doll s House
Random House Webster s dictionary defines a foil as a person or thing that makes another seem better
by contrast. This essay will focus on the use of the foil to contrast another character. The characters of
Nora and Mrs. Linde provide an excellent example of this literary device. Mrs. Linde s aged,
experienced personality is the perfect foil for Nora s childish nature. Mrs. Linde s hard life is used to
contrast the frivolity and sheltered aspects of Nora s life. Nora s optimism and belief in things
improbable is an opposite to the rationality and down to earth mentality of Mrs. Linde. Finally, the
rekindling of the flame between Mrs. Linde and Krogstad is a direct contrast to the ... Show more

Helmer: But Nora
Nora: Oh, please, Torvald darling, do that! I beg you, please. Then I could hang the bills in pretty gilt
paper on the Christmas tree. Wouldn t that be fun? (Ibsen 77 87)
Mrs. Linde is the perfect foil for Nora as can be evidenced with the following excerpt from lines 297
301. Mrs. Linde s self sacrifice for her closest loved ones is atypical of those without the utmost
maturity. Mrs. Linde married a man she did not love for the purpose of security:
Nora: ...is it really true that you weren t in love with your husband? Why did you marry him then?
Mrs. Linde: My mother was still alive, but bedridden and helpless and I had my two younger brothers
to look after. In all conscience, I didn t think I could turn him down.
Evidence of Mrs. Linde s hard life can be seen in the conversation occurring between herself and
Doctor Rank, a friend of the Helmer s. In contrast to Nora s life of little trouble and frivolity, Mrs.
Linde has worn herself out, both mentally and physically:
Mrs. Linde: Yes, I take the stairs very slowly. They re rather hard on me.
Dr. Rank: Uh hm, some touch of internal weakness?
Mrs. Linde: More overexertion, I d say.
Rank: Nothing else? Then you re probably here in town to rest up in a round of

Once they have completed their preparation these educators must tackle the challenge of educating America s youth. Education is still a major factor in the social, psychological, and financial development of one individual; it determines the difference between a life fully lived and a life only dreamed of while opportunity passes by. The role of the superintendent today serves many roles; the main function of the position is leadership. The superintendent as the top executive of a given school district, including a group of schools affiliated with the public school system. The main responsibility of the superintendent is to make sure that the schools under his or her jurisdiction stay within budgetary constraints and provide an effective learning community for all children within his or her district. Therefore, since independence, the main objective of Pakistan s foreign policy has been to protect its territorial integrity against a possible attack from India to ensure national security from external threats. An important aspect of Pakistan s foreign policy is that its relations with India mainly determine its attitude towards the other nations. It has conjured up threat from India, and by constantly harping on its fear of India; Pakistan has tried to win the sympathy of the superpowers. However, the basic force behind Pakistan foreign policy is its security and survival, both economic and military. However, the very nature of the state system breeds feelings of insecurity, distrust, suspicion, and fear. This atmosphere produces a constant competition for power in which each state, to reduce its insecurity, seeks to enhance its power relative to that of a possible foe. If a state perceives its neighbour as a potential enemy, it tries to deter an attack or political coercion by becoming a little stronger than its neighbour, or at least as strong. The neighbour, in turn, also fears attack or political intimidation. It understands that its best interests lie in increasing its strength to forestall either contingency or, if necessary, in winning a war, should matters go that far. • 4. Pride And Prejudice By Jane Austen Essay Pride and Prejudice is a novel written by Jane Austen. It was first published in 1813. Ignoring the fact that I have already read the book in high school, the novel tackles on very interesting issues, which makes itself just as interesting for a book report. The story mainly revolves around Elizabeth Bennet as she faces issues concerning manners, upbringings, education, morality, and marriage. The setting is in England in the early 19th century, so the social norms found in the book are more accustomed to the British Regency and strange to any other significant time periods . Before all else, there are several sociological themes in this novel. Just to name a few: women and femininity, prejudice, and the most notorious of them all, society and class. These themes heavily impact the story as it progresses from the main character, Elizabeth Bennet, to more minor characters like Charlotte Lucas. Although it was never directly mentioned, there are a few implications of why this novel was written. One of these possibilities is the portrayal of Jane Bennet. She s literally the embodiment of a perfect girl. She s gentle, patient, beautiful, optimistic, and the list goes on. Jane is the ideal woman in her society and that s perhaps why Austen implemented her. Her character was mainly there to set up the conditions for Elizabeth and Darcy to meet and had little presence throughout the story till the ending. Even in that spotlight she had, Jane was primarily seen as the most desirable ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Larsen and Buss define personality as the set of psychological traits and mechanisms within the individual that are organized and relitivly enduring and that influence his or her interactions with, and adaptations to, the environment (including the intrapsychic, physical and social environment). His research show that when hostile people bump into others they treat ambiguous behavior as hostile. When they act aggressive, it evokes agression in the other person, making the aggression a self fufiling prophecy. So if a person from the outside environment acts hostile towards us, it evokes that same hostility from us. The third main interaction people have with the environment is manipulation of the environment and those within it. Manipulation does not have to have a negative connatation with it, but usually does. Types of manipulation include: coersion, charm, regression and reason. Different personality types are more likley to use differnt kinds of manipulation, such as people low on agreeableness are more likely to use coersion by yelling, while people high on agreeableness will use reason to get people to do what they want. The final part of the definition is the adaptations (to the environment) like dealing with the challenges and problems we face throughout life. One way to examine this is through the cognitive experintial domian and the concept of goals and personal projects. Personal projects are a set of relevent actions intended to achieve a goal that a person has selected as efined by pstchologist Brian Little. Abstract This paper will discuss the many different processes and procedures that play into the overall safety of the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL). There are countless facets and aspects when it comes to airport operations. The safety aspect is no different. Airports must keep a positive representation in the media and keeping all areas as safe as possible is paramount. The overall safety operations of an airport would simply be too much try convey so instead, this research paper focuses on a large subsection KATL safety known as ramp operations. It follows along and details different aspects of the Ramp Safety Standards Manual created by the Department of Aviation for the city of Atlanta. In doing so, the paper provides a clear view of how ramp operations at KATL relate to system safety. System Safety of Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport Ramp Operations Introduction Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport has been deemed the busiest airport in the world for the past 17 years straight (Mutzabaugh, 2015). One huge aspect of having such consistent success over the years has been the airport s ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment. This is particularly important on the airside of the airport where aircrafts are continually turning, burning, and finding their place among the many gates of the terminal. More specifically, the ramp at KATL is a complex stretch of concrete where aircraft, flight ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It was developed by Robert Greenleaf in the early 1970s. Servant leadership theory s emphasis on service to others and recognition that the role of organizations is to create people who can build a better tomorrow resonates with scholars and practitioners who are responding to the growing perceptions that corporate leaders have become selfish and who are seeking a viable leadership theory to help resolve the challenges of the twenty first century (Parris Peachey, 2013, p 378). There are many advantages to practicing servant leadership to be experienced by all stakeholders. • 26. Man Has Brought The Application Of Property Law Essay Extending further than the span of written history, man has brought the application of property law to his fellow man for some form of economical or social gain. In the period predating the mid 18th century, most people had a natural acceptance of the racial nature of using black people as slaves. To inhabitants of Europe, as well as settlers in the New World, the mere notion of being black was immediately allied with droves of negative associations, it connotated heathenism, paganism, and connections with the Devil . By 1750, slavery was widely accepted, and at that point in time, abolition was not something anyone was largely concerned with. Europeans thought of the enslavement of Africans as necessary as they began to colonize the New World, and required labourers to successfully do so. Resultantly, European nations, not unlike Great Britain, began to approach African kings and chiefs with the aim of purchasing African men and women. The future slaves were marched to the coastal regions of Africa and sold to then be transported via ships to their new place of residence. The mid 18th century represented a turning point for some morally inclined people, and slowly the negative connotations of another race turned to feelings of empathy for the people who had suffered such cruelty and injustice. The period from 1805 to 1807 saw the end of British involvement in the slave trade, this action arose from the Enlightenment ideals of the 18th century, the work of religious ... With the birth of the state, the concept of sovereignty originated. This included both internal and external sovereignty; however, the latter was recognized much later after the end of the Thirty Years War and the signing of the Treaty of Westphalia. What is a logical fallacy? According to the Webster dictionary (1996), a fallacy is a false notion. A statement or argument based on a false or invalid inference. Fallacies can be divided into two different groups; the first one is the fallacy of relevance where the premises are irrelevant to the outcome. The other is fallacy of insufficient evidence, where the premises may be relevant to the outcome but does not have enough evidence to support that outcome. It is mostly unconscious and it appears in everyday human s daily lives. Cinema is one of the medium that people can be exposed. Therefore the ideology in film takes a powerful role that shapes aspects of people s beliefs. When it comes to a film, people who watch the film receive a message from it whether that message is explicit or not. Ideology can be most receptive and powerful when it is exposed to the audience when they are enjoying the film and are unaware of it (Edgar Hunt, Marland and Rawle 96). In Spirited Away, the movie sends out many aspects of ideology in Japanese society. This essay is going to be focusing on two particular aspects which are Shinto beliefs and human versus nature. Sir Adsetss came up with a new business plan over a period of 3 years to make the complex more profitable. Of these, 525,000 are a first heart attack and 210,000 happen in people who have already had a heart attack (CDC, 2015). Heart attacks or myocardial infarctions (MI) can be fatal if appropriate steps and protocols are not followed soon after the onset. It requires critical thinking by nurses and the health care team to reduce the damage to the heart and prevent death. Every year 425,000 people in the United States die from a MI (Ignatavicius Workman, p. 831, 2013). Key nursing interventions, and implications will be emphasized as well as common complications that may occur. Pathophysiology Myocardial infarction is defined as irreversible necrosis of myocardial tissue as a result of inadequate blood flow for a critical period of time. (Duksta Younker, 2012). A MI occurs when cardiac tissue is suddenly deprived of oxygen. Most MIs are the result of atherosclerosis of a coronary artery, rupture of the plaque, subsequent thrombosis, and occlusion of blood flow (Ignatavicius Workman, p. 829, 2013). When there is a blood flow reduction in the heart of 80% to 90%, ischemia occurs, which can be followed by necrosis of cardiac tissue if blood flow is not reestablished. • 38. Aristotle s Views On Human Happiness 2 PURPOSE OF HAPPINESS For Aristotle, happiness was related to a natural function. He argued that if we as human fulfilled our natural function/purpose then we will be able to be happy and want for nothing at all (page 91). Aristotle believed that human happiness refers to the function most proper to the human should and essentially the function must be exclusive to human. He argues that this supposed function is a practical aspect of life that comes from the rational part within humans. The use of the term practical suggests that there is a predetermined conduct which comes as a result of having rational capabilities. This ultimate good of an individual should stem from this and therefore naturally flow from performing your function to a high standard. In order to attain true happiness, this must be repeated throughout one s life. Aristotle s view can be considered to be flawed as he says that only human beings can fully use reason or be described truly happy as happiness derives from reasoning. He argues that the distinction between human beings and animals is due to human capability to perform certain actions that only human beings can perform due to having reason. However, in the instance of a young child who is not yet able to reason, Aristotle s statements are highly problematic. Can we really say that it is incapable for a child to experience true happiness? Admittedly they may not experience happiness in a similar way but, nevertheless one could argue that it is ... Though the merchant Lopakhin is presented as the character who holds values of the new, post aristocratic age, the student Trofimov espouses the political sentiments that will ultimately replace both the ... That this symbolizes the end of the Russian aristocracy is obvious; after all, it is the one unrealistic device in the largely realistic Cherry Orchard. Also, the elderly servant Firs informs everyone that similar sounds were heard when the serfs were emancipated in the previous social upheaval. Characters reactions to the sound in Act II are telling. True to his being the archetypal modern man, the merchant Lopakhin is unfazed. The sound comes from somewhere very far away (804), he says. Since he is naturally destined for the new Russia, recognizing the sound is not important for him; he is already living in the new age. The symbolism of the string snapping is even more clear at the end of Act IV, when old Firs is left alone to die. The stage directions state that, after the sound of a snapped string dying mournfully away is heard, [a] stillness falls, and nothing is heard but the thud of an ax on a tree far away in the orchard (815). With the orchard (the status of aristocracy) in the hands of Lopakhin (the new commercial class), the old days are forever gone. All that is left to hear is the destruction of the orchard as the new class builds its world from the remains of the old. However, in 1917, the Bolsheviks would succeed in altering Russia in a more lasting way, and this small revolution would be subsumed by Communism. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Many individuals still believe in the progressive ideals that the Internet was founded upon, and want to see that it continues to be a place for innovation, where information is free and available. They don t want large corporations having very strict control over that. Only a few days ago, the House of Representatives passed a bill in an attempt to limit the FCC s authority on net neutrality. The debate on net neutrality is far from over, and no one knows how the Internet will operate a decade from now. One thing is clear, however: the American people have a huge influence on what will ultimately happen, so if they want to maintain the privacy and freedom that they desire, they need to continue to make their voices ... If people are not willing to make guns safer, which is obviously the case, then there should be gun controls. . • 49. Mrs. Linde as a Foil for Nora in in Ibsen s A Doll s... Mrs. Linde as a Foil for Nora in A Doll s House Random House Webster s dictionary defines a foil as a person or thing that makes another seem better by contrast. This essay will focus on the use of the foil to contrast another character. The characters of Nora and Mrs. Linde provide an excellent example of this literary device. Mrs. Linde s aged, experienced personality is the perfect foil for Nora s childish nature. Mrs. Linde s hard life is used to contrast the frivolity and sheltered aspects of Nora s life. Nora s optimism and belief in things improbable is an opposite to the rationality and down to earth mentality of Mrs. Linde. Finally, the rekindling of the flame between Mrs. Linde and Krogstad is a direct contrast to the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Then I could hang the bills in pretty gilt paper on the Christmas tree. Wouldn t that be fun? (Ibsen 77 87) Mrs. Linde is the perfect foil for Nora as can be evidenced with the following excerpt from lines 297 301. Mrs. Linde s self sacrifice for her closest loved ones is atypical of those without the utmost maturity. Mrs. Linde married a man she did not love for the purpose of security: Nora: ...is it really true that you weren t in love with your husband? Why did you marry him then? Mrs. Linde: My mother was still alive, but bedridden and helpless and I had my two younger brothers to look after. In all conscience, I didn t think I could turn him down. Evidence of Mrs. Linde s hard life can be seen in the conversation occurring between herself and Doctor Rank, a friend of the Helmer s. In contrast to Nora s life of little trouble and frivolity, Mrs. Linde has worn herself out, both mentally and physically: Mrs. Linde: Yes, I take the stairs very slowly. They re rather hard on me. Dr. Rank: Uh hm, some touch of internal weakness? Mrs. Linde: More overexertion, I d say. Rank: Nothing else? Then you re probably here in town to rest up in a round of
