I have received useful audience feedback on my creative works that will help me improve. The feedback identified areas like adding non-diegetic music in quiet scenes to keep the audience engaged, using more shots to build pace in my trailer, addressing issues with low lighting in night scenes, and making the end title design more creative. Overall, the feedback helped me recognize changes I could make to strengthen my works even though I was already happy with aspects like the color scheme and main image choice in my magazine cover and film poster. Going forward, this feedback will help me enhance my skills and creative products.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
Generating a custom Ruby SDK for your web service or Rails API using Smithyg2nightmarescribd
Have you ever wanted a Ruby client API to communicate with your web service? Smithy is a protocol-agnostic language for defining services and SDKs. Smithy Ruby is an implementation of Smithy that generates a Ruby SDK using a Smithy model. In this talk, we will explore Smithy and Smithy Ruby to learn how to generate custom feature-rich SDKs that can communicate with any web service, such as a Rails JSON API.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
2. I have received a number of audience feedbacks and have learnt how to improve my
main product.
Teaser trailer-
My first audience feedback is:
In my teaser trailer I did use an emotional song for an emotional scene and a
heartbeat to reflect the main characters heartbeat. But by looking at this feedback
there are scene with not much sound which I may improve by adding some non
diegetic music. I used different shots, but this person has pointed out I could have
used more especially to build a faster pace to the trailer.
3. This comment praises me for my build up of pace, which I believe I done well. This comment can
be related with the one before I could add sound which will keep the audience stimulated or
add some faster scene which catches audience attention and keep them stimulated.
The tracking shot was hard to do as the dolly was to shaky but I made my own dolly at did the
best I could do and I’m happy that someone has noticed it. I agree the darkness may be a
problem but it was hard to light up certain scene as light was limited at night, I did my best be
staying near street laps and roads, net time I would overcomes this by having better lighting
equipment.
4. I thought the end title was different as it comes on like a type writes, but I understand that I
could have used a more creative way of putting it in, next time I will make a title name in
Photoshop and then place that at the end.
Magazine-
When reading this audience feedback I am happy that the person likes my colour scheme as I
thought about it quite thoroughly, the person believes that more images could be added, this
could be done by a few smaller images of other movies or actors which will intrigue audience
members.
5. When deciding what main image to use I had to decide between to two images, I am
happy I choose the action pose one as it Is more exciting for the audience. Also I'm
happy the masthead and main cover line are very eye catching as there are the text
you want the audience to notice straight away.
Film poster
I wanted the audience to be caught up in the moment of this image with the action
pose and atmosphere of it, if I changed the image to a close up I could put across to
the audience a mood of the character.
6. I'm happy the title is clear as this is an important piece of text, I agree with this
feedback looking back I could have made the text of the release date to portray a
horror genre when I was making the release date I choose that font as I thought it
would be different.
Overall I am very happy with my products but I am happy with my audience feedback
because it helps my recognise some things that could be changed to make my
products better. I believe some of the feedback helped me realise things I would have
not picked upon by my self so the feedback was really helpful.
