1. Image of artist: this is a long
shot of the artist leaning
over a railing in the graffiti
tunnel we used for our
graffiti scenes. She is looking
into the lens of the camera
which means that she is
addressing the viewer and
this allows them to relate to
the artist more. They are
also able to see her facial
expression and gesture. This
is a blurred image which
creates a sense of ambiguity
also it is still clear to the
viewer what she is doing.
Clothing: the
clothing of the artist
is complemented by
the background as it
has an “urban feel”
to it again resulting
in my target
audience being able
to relate to her
more.
Background: the background fits
into the genre of the album as it is
urban and relates to the target
audience more because of this. It
also complements the gesture of
the artist ( a slight slouch over the
railings which relates to a younger
audience). The bright colours also
help the artist stand out as her
clothing and hair is dark which
means that she is able to stand out
against the colourful background. It
also fits in with the other pages of
the Digi- pack ( the graffiti urban
theme).
Purpose of this page:
this page is the page
where the actual CD
itself would be kept
(hence the two
circles that represent
a CD.
