4G technology (Fourth Generation Mobile System)Muhammad Ahmed
4G is here to replace the 3G systems. 4G is abbreviation of “Fourth Generation Mobile System” and successor of 3G, 2G, and 1G mobile technologies. The main purpose 4G deploying is to provide secure broadband access for devices like smart phones, laptops, netbooks and other devices requiring IP based internet access. To end user, their newly purchased mobile devices will have faster and more reliable internet access.
The IEEE 802 is a family of IEEE standards dealing with Local Area Networks and Metropolitan Area Networks. The IEEE 802 family of standards is maintained by the IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC).
The most widely used standards are for the Bridging and Virtual Bridged LANs (802.1), Ethernet family (802.3), Token Ring (802.5) and Wireless LAN (802.11).
Developed by ITU-T, ISDN is a set of protocols that combines digital telephony and data transport services to digitise the telephone network to permit the transmission of audio, video and text over existing telephone line. ISDN is an effort to standardise subscriber services, provide user or network interface and facilitate the inter-networking capabilities of existing voice and data networks. The goal of ISDN is to form a wide area network that provides universal end-to-end connectivity over digital media by integrating separate transmission services into one without adding new links or subscriber links.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
2. Aerodynamics
Fields of
Study
Aerodynamics is a sub-field of fluid dynamics and is often used synonymously
with gas dynamics, with the difference being that "gas dynamics" applies to
the study of the motion of all gases, not limited to air.
3. Aeronautics
Fields of
Study
Aeronautics is the science or art involved with the study, design, and
manufacturing of airflight-capable machines, and the techniques of
operating aircraft and rockets within the atmosphere.

Study
Anthropology is the study of humans, past and present. Anthropology draws and
builds upon knowledge from the social and biological sciences as well as
the humanities and physical sciences.
7. Apiology
Fields of
Study
Apiology is the scientific study of honey bees. Honey bees are often chosen
as a study group to answer questions on the evolution of social systems.
8. Archaeology
Fields of

Archaeology is the study of human activity in the past, primarily through the
recovery and analysis of the material culture and environmental data that
has been left behind by past human populations, which includes artifacts, architecture,
biofacts and cultural landscapes.
9. Astrogeology
Fields of
Study
Planetary geology or Astrogeology is a planetary science discipline concerned
with the geology of the celestial bodies such as the planets and their
moons, asteroids, comets, and meteorites.
10. Astrology
Fields of
Study
Astrology is the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies
interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world.
11. Astrophysics
Fields of
Study
Astrophysics is the branch of astronomy that deals with the physics of the
universe, especially with the nature of the heavenly bodies, rather than
their positions or motions in space.
12. Bacteriology
Fields of
Study
Bacteriology is the study of bacteria. This subdivision of microbiology involves
the identification, classification, and characterization of bacterial species.
15. Cryptology
Fields of
Study
Cryptology is the practice and study of techniques for secure communications in the
presence of third parties. Various aspects in information security such as
data confidentiality, data integrity, authentication, and non-repudiation are central to
modern cryptography.
17. Ecology
Fields of
Study
Ecology is the scientific analysis and study of interactions among organisms and their
environment, such as the interactions organisms have with each other and with their
abiotic environment.
19. Epidemiology
Fields of

and bathymetric features created by physical or chemical processes operating
at or near the earth's surface.
27. Glaciology
Fields of
Study
